"No!" Aizawa says putting them back in line.

"You do know we're going to settle this outside school rulings where no adult supervisor is going to stop us from hurting one another seriously don't you?" Alphonse says.

"Do you hold grudges this blade?" Aizawa replies. "You'll have to wait for your revenge. Soon enough the school will hold a tournament for you participate in. Those who score well are going to appear on the radar of professional heroes that seek new sidekicks."

"I'm still going to kick his ass out of school!"

"You might want to think again about who's getting his ass kicked blue boy!" Bakugo says.

"Their blood is boiling already. Is not like they are going to calm down unless they start fighting" Aizawa thinks to himself. "Fine, I'll give you five minutes, five literal minutes. Whoever manages to deal the most damage to the other wins, I'll judge that. You'll fight inside the area marked by the running track. If you get your opponent out of the field or I declare the other unable to fight then you win. Are the rules clear?"

The two agreed and they headed out for the running track. Everyone sits on the side while the two enter the field from different sides.

"Ready! Fight!" Aizawa shouts and the two prepare for battle. Bakugo anticipates Alphonse's first move and strikes behind him blowing away the corn Al created to appear behind him. Bakugo puts one hand in from and one behind him.

"You won't be able to touch me this way!" He says as he advances towards Al.

"One, two, three... seven... twelve. Yeah, I'm good." Alphonse says talking to himself.

"Have you given up and decided to lay down and die?" Bakugo shouts jumping into the air ready to blast the ground beneath him. Just as he jumped and got ready to strike he had to push himself back into the ground as a hail of arrows flies towards him.

"What the hell are you doing? Pulling out weapons out of nowhere?"

"My Quirk is not a benevolent one, quite the opposite, people used to fear it. I can appear out of anywhere in a row of corn with any weapon I can think of as long as it can be made out of wood and obsidian. I call it, 'Meso-America Legends'!" Falling to the ground Bakugo pushes himself backwards as another patch of corn grows underneath him with sharp spears waiting to poke him. As the second explosion pushes him back Al has the time to create a bigger patch of corn to the point where it was around ten metres in diameter.

"I'll just make popcorn out of it all!" Bakugo says as he blasts the field with another explosion. As soon as he destroys the summoned corn however a new patch grows closer and closer to him ever bigger and wider. The corn was starting to grow very tall, two and a half metres tall covering most of Bakugo's field of view. Alphonse disappeared completely and he kept summoning corn to surround Bakugo with it.

"Damn it, if I jump into the air to look for him he'll hit me with his arrows, if I stand here he'll just summon more and more corn until I run out of juice and he would be able to just attack me from behind and knock me out. Bigger, bigger, bigger! I need the biggest explosion I can create." Bakugo stops spinning around for a moment and pushes his arms outwards ready to blow the whole field up.

"That's enough!" Aizawa shouts as he stops the battle. "Don't you dare move Bakugo!" He says as he starts making his way through the corn slowly cutting it. Once he arrives next to Bakugo he reveals how in the field there were numerous large snare like traps ready to spring into action, whole tree branches bent backwards with logs at their ends covered with obsidian shards. If Bakugo were to move even one inch and disrupt them they would have sent the obsidian shards flying piercing him through.

"Ha, Aizawa intervened, you lost!"

"You should call me teacher and no, Bakugo didn't lost."

"What, but you had to intervene, I had him trapped, if he moved..."

"You would have most likely cut off a limb or two. Are you insane or what? Were you planning on killing him? Maiming him for life only for a petty school-yard fight?"

"You bastard. What were you planning to do?" Bakugo asks with an even angrier look on his face.

"On top of that you broke the rules. I noticed the stack of corn you created on the edge of the school-yard itself. You hid there while making Bakugo blow up corn without putting yourself in any risk."

"You said we lose if we are thrown out of the field, not if we leave voluntarily!"

"I said that you'll fight inside the tracking field. You left so Bakugo wins automatically."

"Ah, fine! Can I go eat some red meat or something now? Creating corn requires my blood and creating weapons inside the corn rows requires even more. I'm starting to feel dizzy."

"Both of you take a rest then class will proceed as normal. Alphonse, I'll have a very long discussion with you on the use of lethal force."

"Tch, check the stones on the wooden traps. They are hollow and brittle, the worst they would have done would have been some cuts and bruises. I was planning on appearing in front of him when he spread out his arms and force him to give up by revealing the traps. When I received some of Midnight's knowledge I also got force-fed her sense of morality, or at least just some of it... I hope."

Everyone is dismissed and the class assaults Al with questions.

"That was so cool! I wish I could teleport around the field like that too!" Midoriya says as he's the first to start talking with him.

"Imagine the possibilities, how many forbidden places you could enter with Quirk. The girl's locker room, their bathroom, the women's area in a public bath house."

"Mineta, please just die." The girls say collectively.

"How far can you teleport, is there a limits?"

"Can you bring people with you?"

"How big are the traps and weapons you can create inside the corn fields?"

"How much blood does it consume"

Question after question after question. Everyone wanted to learn about his Quirk, everyone was drawn towards the one that challenged, pretty much the class bully Bakugo. Slowly however the group is being shaved off as only the main three remain around him. Deku out of sheer interest, Ochaco because she liked... spending time with him and Ida because of his sense of duty as the class president.

"So explain this to me again. People vote to give you power and lose their own?"

"The figurative power to chose..."

"But wouldn't it be more in their interest to vote themselves?"

"Yes but since matters have to be settled fast and people can't just spend hours of their day listening and making choices they delegated me to be their leader."

"Aren't you a king though? You make choices instead of them."

"No, because they chose me to make the choices. If they wanted they could have chose someone else, actually they voted Midoriya first but then he gave the role to me."

"I don't understand. The people chose the king then the king made the choice alone to chose a new king. So the people didn't chose you."

"But they did as the previous king, I mean class rep was chosen by them and he went in agreement with their wishes." Ida and Alphonse were talking politics as Ochaco and Deku's heads were starting to spin around from the discussion.

"Anyhow, shouldn't we eat before the food gets cold? Do you enjoy Japanese food Al?"

"I can't stand it!" He says with a happy expression on his face. "I literally cannot eat certain things, rice being one of them. The only cereal I can eat is corn so no wheat either. Since most of your cuisine is based around rice I can't eat half of it... unless I splatter it all over with red meat or fatty fish. The proportions have to be, more meat than cereal for me to eat it without spitting out blood."

"Is that something having to do with your Quirk?"

"I think so. I think my corn gets jealous if I eat other cereals. Meat overcomes this jealousy since I need it to recover my blood after I use my quirk. Whenever I create corn I spend drops of blood but that's not a problem since around one hundred plants of corn are about ten drops of blood, weapons cost more but I'm not certain how much. Doctors told me however that my Quirk won't kill me if I don't lose completely all the blood in my body."

"I think you'd have more problems than your Quirk taking some of your blood to activate if you don't have any more blood in your body."

"I taught the same too but it turn out I had only around 200ml of blood in my body after the fight with Ragnarök! Right, I also remembered, sorry for kicking you in the face Midoriya, my body was working on it's own back then."

"It angers me." Midoriya says.

"The kick?"

"No... goodness no. I was thinking about Quirks and all that. Bakugo is incredibly strong, Todoroki too and now you Al are also very strong. There are so many people I have compete with, no even more than that, I'm not even on anyone's level right now, I have so much catching up to do."

"So, why do you want to become a hero this badly?"

"To be like All Might!"

"I don't know who that is!" Al says with his weirdly honest 'I have no idea what's going on face'. Although he has Midnight's memories on how to speak Japanese and a crush course of being heroic he received from her, pretty much everything around him is new, weird and slightly awesome. It would be a way too long story repeating just how happy he was at seeing a modern toilet, how electricity is still a foreign concept to him and how TVs slightly scare him unable to wrap his head around things being pre recorded.

"I want to be like my brother! I want to be a hero that inspires people to do better!" Ida says while Deku is going full fan boy talking about all of All Might's accomplishments and acts of heroism.

"And you?"

"I do it for the money!" Uraraka says copying Al's expression of pure bliss.

"Same!" He replies with the same fake blank smile on his face. "To tell you the truth, all this hero stuff doesn't make too much sense to me right now. If heroes are supposed to save people why did no one arrived to save my village? I guess it's something akin to 'I'll be the hero no one was able to be for me'... I could start selling corn though if I ever want to change jobs.

"Is it edible?"

"Of course! Once I create a plant it remains there if the conditions are acceptable. For example, if I create a plant of corn inside a fire or on top of a rock, inside the fire it will start burning immediately, on top of the rock it will remain fresh, green and alive as long as I supply it with energy or whatever I use to create the corn plant. If however I make the plant grow in a green field then it will live there until the weather ruins it or someone goes to pick it up. On the opposite end, I have to think about making plants wither and disappear otherwise everywhere I go I would leave bushes of corn behind. Back in my village it was my duty to pretty much feed everyone! Maybe thanks to that I grew so accustomed to creating corn, when I was younger it required a lot more blood to make it grow."

"My Quirk too is damaging my body. Whenever I use it I can't control it so it damages my muscles and breaks my bones!"

"Mine too, whenever I try to make heavy objects levitate it gets me all dizzy and sick to my stomach"

"My engines too stop working if I force them too much!"

"Then we should make a pact then. Everyone chooses a goal and works towards it. I'll try until I can summon one hundred plants of corn with only one drop of my blood! Whoever reaches his goal first wins."

"I'll manage to use my Quirk without breaking my bones!"

"I'll manage to make a car float for a whole minute without vomiting... What do we win though?"

"I'll be able to run from one side of the city to the other without breaking my engines. Good question, what do we bet?"

"Hm... back in my village we used to bet secrets on the line. Whoever wins gets to hear the most embarrassing secrets the others have."

"Deal!" The other three say before all agreeing to reach their goals while competing amongst themselves.

From afar Aizawa was looking at them with All Might behind him.

"What do you think? Is he going to be a good hero?" All Might asks with his typical bravado.

"A good and proper hero alright. I just hope he doesn't pull off any more stunts like today. When he fought Bakugo he used weak, fake blades to scare him, what if one day he decides to use real weapons. Let's not forget he and a second person fought off an invading army of revolutionary villains that whipped out his whole village. We should be very preoccupied, he remembers most of what happened but doesn't seem to act impacted at all."

"Maybe that's his way of copping with his loss. Give him time, I'm sure our influence is going to break down whatever evil you might see inside of him."

"Don't get me wrong, I don't see any evil, just... a god complex. He might not care to follow the strict rules heroes have in place, he might turn to vigilantism if we aren't careful. We'll see how he does in the upcoming contest, that's when his true colours might come out."
