I walked into the Apartment me and Newt lived in. We weren't dating just close friends.I went to the kitchen. "Hey Y/N how are you?" he asked sweetly "Not good." I groaned. "Maybe you should take a few days off? I mean like you've started to get dark circles and kind of started to lose your appetite. So why not?" He suggested "ok,I'll send my boss a letter shortly.Can I Help-" "nope besides you need time to rest I can get a bath ready for you and then I'll make dinner." He smiled "I insist" he finished "Alright." I said in defeat laughing a little. Newt made his way up to my room while I was getting my owl ready to send a letter. A blush crept onto my cheeks Realizing that he was taking care of me. Does he like me? I thought I pushed that thought out of my mind thinking that I was being ridiculous. I heard Newt yell "Ready!" I quickly yelled "Coming!" and ran upstairs as he was walking downstairs "Thank you newt you really don't have to do that." I said "I don't mind besides you're exhausted." He laughed "Can't argue with that!" I laughed. He continued down the stairs as I went to my room, closed the door and stripped myself of my clothes. I looked in the mirror,I have a fit body In the middle however I did have a habit of putting myself down often. Only Newt knew about this though perhaps that's why he helped me? I thought I shrugged in the mirror and went into the bathroom, locked the door and stepped into the bath. It was warm and bubbly just how I like it I thought. Once I was fully submerged I heard footsteps outside. I held my breath frantically placing and pushing bubbles on my body to hide it. I realized that it was just Newt I exhaled. Maybe he's fixing stuff in my room...well I'm glad that he can't see me. I giggled a little.
Newt's POV:
As I was running the water for Y/N bath a small brush crept on my cheeks. Do I like her? Even if I do there's no way she would ever like me. I sighed. Soon I yelled to her that it was ready and as she went upstairs to her room I made some of her favorite matcha tea. I carefully went upstairs with the cup and set it on her nightstand. I decided that I could probably pick out some comfy clothes for her. As I was pacing outside her bathroom door I heard the sound of splashing. Then a small giggle,I smiled and blushed a little. Probably realized it was me. I chuckled a little. I went to her closet and picked out some leggings and a fluffy sweater. I went back downstairs to grab her favorite kind of chocolate f/c I sat it on her nightstand next to her tea,and carefully folded her clothes and sat them on her bed. I smiled happily with my work and went downstairs to read a book. A blush crept on my cheeks again I imagined how happy she would be once she found out the little surprises I gave her. Wait! I could also give her some flowers. I smiled and went to the counter where her favorite flowers are,roses and dandelions. I took them out of the vase while scrambling to get a rubber band. I tied the flowers and crept up to her room. I creaked the door open. I sighed with relief as she wasn't done yet I went to the bathroom door and slipped the flowers into the bathroom under the door somehow. I heard a small giggle. I heard Y/N whisper a small "Thank you newt!" I smiled and went back downstairs to continue my book.
You're POV:
I heard more footsteps assuming it was newt I played with bubbels a little. I heard a creak and looked over to the door and saw a bundle of my favorite flowers Roses and Dandelions. I grinned a Cheshire cat and said in a small whisper "Thank you Newt!" I heard shuffling the footsteps going downstairs. I blushed probably as red as a tomato. I have a crush on Newt and he is giving me gifts and a day off! "Oh god!" I muttered. Finally I decided to get out of the bath and grabbed a fluffy towel to wrap myself. I picked up the flowers smiling to myself. I opened the door and recognized the scent of matcha,my favorite tea. I looked at my nightstand and saw a bar of my favorite chocolate f/c and a cup of matcha. I skipped over happily and sipped some of the tea while taking a small bite of chocolate. I saw my owl flutter in my room with a letter in his beak. I opened it and found that it is from newt! It read:
Hey I sent an owl to your boss with my owl and he said it was fine it take some time off. I may have a little surprise downstairs with me. From Newt.
I blushed and almost choked on air when I read that he had another surprise waiting downstairs. My goodness he spoils me. I thought. I saw the clothes Newt laid out for me and quickly put them on. I went downstairs carefully holding onto my tea. I saw he was making my favorite food. f/m I smiled and trotted over to where he was. "Hellooo" He greeted me with a hug which I gratefully returned. He pulled back and ruffled my hair a little. I giggled. He smiled. "Hey Y/N?" He said nervously "Yeah?" I responded "Will you be my girlfriend?" I grinned and kissed his cheek and said "Yes!" He beamed and kissed me. I kissed back, he smelled like cinnamon with some spices. It was a soft sweet innocent kiss we broke away smiling like idoits. I helped him cook dinner and we ate together. We snuggled up on the couch and fell asleep oblivious to the world around us. For right then and there it was our peaceful little world without the craziness.
