Danny sighs as Modeus walk next to him and kept staring as Pandemonica look at her clipboard. They were looking for another demon girl that he had to help to get home. He looks at Modeus who was looking at his hand now.
"Modeus?" He asked.
"Lewd." She whispers.
"What is?" Danny asked.
"Hand-holding." Modeus said.
"What?!" Danny asked, confuse.
"You're a pervert." She said.
"Modeus, holding hand doesn't mean that!" Danny said.
"It doesn't?" Modeus asked.
"No, holding hands is normal. If you like the person, but just want to act normal, then holding the person's hand is a way to show that you like the person. Through it different with parents...now I'm confused." Danny tries to explain.
Modeus looks at Danny's hand and then at hers. She blushes and faces away from him.
"Just leave her be," Pandemonica said.
"Pan, I'm not going to take advantage of her. No matter how much she wants it. I'm not that type of guy." Danny told her.
"I want you too! You're mine!" Modeus said.
Danny groans and kept walking. Modeus sure was different than he thought. She did live up to her title but didn't drag him into anything. She wanted him to drag her into those things, saying it was more "fun" that way. Danny sighs before getting a feeling that someone was watching them.
"What's wrong?" Modeus asked.
"I get the feeling that someone is watching us," Danny said, ready to go ghost at the first sign of trouble.
"Hmm," Pandemonica said, thinking.
"If anyone tries to take you, I'll break their arms!" Modeus said.
Danny just look around and thought he saw someone duck behind a rock. He slowly walks towards it and started to look over, before he was jumped. Danny hit the ground and look up to another girl over him, she was wearing a suit as well, but also had a necktie. Danny saw she had a tail like Pandemonica and Modeus, but instead of horns, she had dog-like ears.
"A human?!" She said.
"Here?" Another girl looking the same as the first.
"In Hell?" A third girl said.
"Oh, Cerberus!" Modeus said.
"Hi, Modeus! Hi, Pandemonica!" They said in unison.
"Cerberus?!" Danny asked.
"Yes?" The girls asked.
"Cerberus, can you let him up?" Pandemonica asked.
The girl on Danny nodded and got off. Danny stood up and notices the three girls huddle together.
"Danny, meet Cerberus, the Triple Demon. Cerberus, this is Danny." Pandemonica said.
"What's he in for?" All three asked.
"Nothing, he's not supposed to be here," Pandemonica said.
"He's not?" Cerberus asked.
"No, someone sent him here. The CEO agreed to let him leave if he could complete some challenges for us." Pandemonica said.
"What challenges?" Cerberus asked.
"He got me some Hellfire Coffee Beans," Pandemonica said.
"And he took down the Love Stealing Demon." Modeus added.
"WHAT?!" Cerberus shouted in shock.
The three girls look at him and Danny was still lost on their name.
"Okay, okay! I have to change the subject here! Your name is Cerberus?!" He said.
"Yes," The girls nodded.
"All three of you?" Danny asked again.
"Yes," The girl's answer.
"Okay, I thought Cerberus was the name of a three-headed dog that guards the gates of the underworld?!" Danny asked.
"Oh, that old story? There are different Cerberus around the world." Cerberus said.
"Okay," Danny said, still lost.
"So, what challenge does he have to complete?" Cerberus asked.
"Whatever you have in mind," Pandemonica said.
Cerberus started to think, what could he do for them? They then notice their tails and started to chase them. Danny blinks and turns to the other two.
"Dog-liked Demons. They have some dog traits on them." Pandemonica said.
"Girls!" Danny calls out, making the three girls stop chasing their tails.
"My challenge? I like to go home at some point." Danny reminds them.
"Home? Where's that?" Cerberus asked.
"He's from Earth," Pandemonica said.
"Earth?!" Cerberus shouted and surround him.
"We always wanted to go to earth!" They said.
"What for?" Danny asked.
"Cerberus." Pandemonica quickly spoke up.
"He has the CEO Hell Protection." She told them.
Cerberus pouted and turns back to Danny.
"We want out of Hell too." They said.
"Don't like it here?" Danny asked.
"We always wanted to see the earth, but our fine print said we need a human to leave," Cerberus said.
Danny notices that they whine a bit like an actual dog. He sighs. He going to regret this.
"I'll take you to earth with me." He said.
All three girls peak up and jump on him.
"Thank you, Master!" Cerberus cheered.
Danny follows Cerberus, who had a challenge for him. That when he recalls something.
"Cerberus?" He calls out to them.
"Yes, Master?" They said.
"Why do you talk like your one person?" He asked.
"A demon can have many bodies, B-but it's still a single demon." They answered.
"Meaning that they are three bodies with one soul." Pandemonica clears up.
"How does that wor...never mind. It's Hell." Danny started to ask but stops himself.
Danny notice Cerberus get down on all fours and sniffs the ground. One of them suddenly pop up and pointed.
"There!" She said making the other two turn as well.
Danny looked up and saw what they were pointing at. He was surprised to see some sleeping...
"Hellhounds?" Pandemonica asked.
"Um, Cerebus, what does he have to do with them?" She asked the triple girl.
"Nothing!" They smiled.
"Nothing?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, what you got to do is easy. Make through the whole pack without waking one up!" Cerberus said.
"Um, Cerberus? There are 500 hellhounds here. Does he need to get something?" Pandemonica asked.
"Well, they did steal something that was ours! And we want it back!" They said.
"And that is?" Danny asked.
"Can't tell you." They said.
"Augh, can I least have a hint?" Danny asked.
"It makes a noise," Cerberus said.
"A squeaky toy?! Well, this isn't the first time I did this." Danny sighs.
"Pan, Modeus, I know you two are my bodyguards, but can you stay here unless I really need help?" Danny asked them.
"Sure, though I do hope they rip you apart," Pandemonica said.
"Same here." Modeus said.
"Augh, Demons." Danny groans and carefully climbs down to the pack.
The girls watch as he reached the bottom and start to tiptoe around the sleeping hounds.
"He so dead," Pandemonica said.
"And brave." Modeus added.
Cerberus just watches him with interest and wail their demon tails with excitement. Danny tiptoes around a few Hellhounds and even had to step over a few of them. He froze when he heard one of them snore, but didn't wake up. He sighs in relief and continues. The girls watch him and were impress so far.
"Wow, I thought one would have woken up right now," Pandemonica said.
"He's so lewd." Modeus said.
Cerberus was surprised. Out of all the demons they asked for help, they were barely able to make it past 10 Hellhounds. And yet, he's already got past 50 of them. Danny could tell he was getting closer to the middle of the pack, and most dogs keep their toy in the middle unless they had somewhere else to put it. He soon reaches there and tries not to groan. There were about 100 squeaky toys there.
'Oh, FUCK me!' Danny thought, knowing this wasn't going to be easy.
Danny turns back and looks right at Cerberus, who felt the glare and sank to the ground like a dog that got into trouble.
"Cerberus," Pandemonica said.
"Yes?" They answered.
"This was not a good idea," Pandemonica told them.
"Wait a minute...you don't have a squeaky toy." Modeus brought up.
"Oh, that's right!" Cerberus said and stood up.
"Sorry, Master! We don't have a squeaky toy!" They shouted.
Danny grew upset before he pale. Cerberus shouting woke up some of the Hellhounds, and they notice him.
"Oh, FUCK me TWICE!" He shouted as the hellhounds growl.
Danny didn't wait. He turns into his ghost form, the blight light stunning a few of them, and took into the sky with some trying to jump up and snap their jaws at them. Danny flew over to the girls and glare at Cerberus, who try to make themselves as small as possible.
"We'll talk about this later! Just grab on and Modeus, save your thoughts about this after we get away!" Danny said.
The girls didn't argue, they all grab Danny, and he flew as fast as he could.
Once Danny was far away from the Hellhounds, so they didn't come after them, he let go of the girls and notices Modeus covering her red face as steam appears to rise from her head.
"He touched me." She said.
Danny sighs and turns to Cerberus.
"Care to explain what that was about?!" He asked.
"We screw up." They said.
"Oh, you did more than that! YOU SENT ME TO MY DEATH!" Danny yelled, and the three whimper.
Danny then took a breath.
"Look, you asked for my help, and I wasn't going to turn it down. It's how I am. You said you want to go to earth and I'll take you with me. Just, promise to check with me first." Danny said.
"Yes! At Last! It's time to corrupt the mortal realm!" They cheer.
Danny just shook his head. He was in hell after all.
"Pan, can you do me a huge favor?" He asked.
"Sure." She said.
"If another girl forgets something important. Hit me." He groans.
The CEO sighs as she got the report. He met Cerberus and they had him crawl through a pack of Hellhounds! He escaped unharmed, however.
"Cerberus. Oh, you stpiud dog!" She sighs.
Still, she was happy that he was still alive. He looks at the pictures that some of her guards send to her. They were both of his forms. His human form reminds her much of an angel, but it was clear he wasn't. And had to admit, Modeus was right. He was cute. She then looks at the picture of his ghost form. He was clearly powerful, maybe more powerful than her. But from what she heard, he really hasn't shown his power just yet.
"Every time I heard more and more about you, I want to meet you. You sound like a good slave to keep." She said and took a sip of her wine.
Still, she couldn't keep him where. He didn't belong in hell. She sighs and smiles to herself.
And there Cerberus. I'll admit, I was having a hard time trying to think of their challenge. Then I recall from the reviews about Cujo and how Danny had to help him. So, I had the same thing happen here, only Cerberus forget they don't have a squeaky toy. And yes, I know that Cerberus refers to themself as them, not she. Well, the next one is Malina. I sorta got one for her already. Danny's challenge is making her smile. Yeah, making a Sour Demon smile. That's not going to be good.
