Growing up in the foster system wasn't easy. Emma was treated badly and never really loved. And that is part of the reason of her walls. There was another reason for them, but she knew her walls were up way before him. He had just knocked them down to build them up stronger. So strong, Emma was not used to these feelings.

She was nervous yet excited. She had waited for this moment her entire life, but never did she think it would be this. She had imagined her parents being all sorts of people, she had imagined all sorts of reasons why they gave her up. And never did she think it was this. Her parents were actual fairytale characters. They had given her up to save an entire town, because that was who they were. They were hero's unlike her.

All these feelings all at once was to much. She was nervous and scared and excited and happy yet sad and angry. She couldn't help it. She couldn't help the tint of anger inside of her. They could have been together, cursed but they would have been together.

'Emma,' Henry repeated, pulling Emma out of her thoughts. She looked at her son, she couldn't help the guilt that came with looking at him. The guilt of giving him up and then the guiltof thinking he was wrong. Thinking he was crazy. She looked down. 'Yes kid?' She asked, trying to get rid of the tears in her eyes.

They were still in the hospital, waiting for Henry's release papers. Her son was now in his clothes, and looked far better. The paleness and gone from his face, and the sparkle in his eyes was back. She couldn't help but smile at him.

'Are you alright? You've been staring out that window for a long time,' Henry observed. Emma sighed and shook her head, bending down to his level. She held his hands tightly in her own, and just looked at him wondering what to say.

'Sorry,' She said at last. 'I'm sorry I didn't believe you, I'm sorry I nearly left and I'm sorry I let you eat that turnover, I almost lost you, and I have no idea what I would have done without you,' to her surprise, her son looked at her and smiled.

'It's okay,' He said simply. 'And I know you wouldn't have left me,' he added, 'you would have missed me to much!' At this Emma just laughed and nodded her head.

'Yeah kid, guess your right,' she laughed. She pulled him into a hug and stayed there until someone cleared their throat behind them.

'The release papers,' the nurse smiled, and them to Emma. 'Just sign them and call us through when you've finished and you can go,'

Once Emma signed the papers, she walked back to the bug and watched Henry get in. It was only as she was getting in as she realised she didn't know where she was going to go. She could go back to the loft, but she lived their and now the curse was broken so would he. She gulped and started nervously chewing her nails.

'Emma?' Henry asked, noticing her change in behaviour. It took him a few seconds to realise what she was so nervous about. His mouth fell open and he knew what he had to do.

'You have to see them,' he told her. 'You can't stay here and not see them,' he told her.

'And if I go, they will come and look for me,' Emma finished, biting her lip and closing her eyes. For a moment there was silence between them.

'What do I do Henry?' Emma asked, slowly opening her eyes. 'What do I do?'

'Go and see them,' Henry awnsered calmly. 'When I found out I was adopted, I couldn't wait to meet my parents. If you go, you will regret it,' Emma let out a breath. She knew he was right. She had to go.

Throughout the car ride, all of Emma's feelings begun to grow. She was planning to drive to the loft, but she found them outside of Granny's, along with granny, Ruby and the dwarves (she had asked Henry who they were)

She paused in the seat slightly, staring directly at them. She thought she was going to explode with all the feelings inside her. But the minute she closed the bug door, the minute she walked to them, stopping infront of them. She realised. The moment she had waited for her entire life was here. she didn't need to be angry, or sad, not yet at least.

She stood their for a few seconds, listening in.

'Now, now I find my daughter,'

This was it. The moment she had been awaiting all her life.

'So it's true?'
