AN: Hello everyone! I'm sorry I was taking so long with this story but I have decided to rewrite this story because of two reasons.

I researched after writing a lot of chapters

A lot of what I originally was going to do isn't fitting with the characters and mostly what I wanted to do.

So enjoy this new point of the story :D

Warning: Blood

~New Life~

~Dunbroch~

Merida was sitting there, her hands were shaking in her lap. Her eyes kept darting between her mother and the lords than to the new chief that was joining them in the talk. Merida begged her mother to allow her to join. To help out with the war with the dragons. Instead, her mother insisted that she didn't need to be in it.

The incident that sadly gravely injured her father, caused some distrust between Vikings and Scotts. One tribe was the Hairy Hooligans, though they've kept to themselves and most of their fellow Viking allies couldn't help their situation. The alliance between the Dunbroch clan and Berk's will not only allow both to have stronger allies between clans but to also strengthen their armies and livelihoods.

But, the price was Merida's freedom. She glared at the clan's chief as he stared at her mother. Even the Lords agreed on this being the test to their trust through this alliance.

"We'll know how to tame the beasts?" Lord Macintosh stared back at the other chief.

Sitting across from all of them was Stoick the Vast. The current chief of the Hairy Hooligan Tribe, he nodded his head and sat there eyeing Merida. The chief gave the Princess a soft smile. He was trying his best to get her to smile.

"Yes, with my son's help all of your people will learn how to bring peace with the dragons." Stoick looked at each person in the room.

Merida tilted her head as she scoffed, she was done with this and that her mother was writing her handoff to a clan they couldn't trust.

"How old is your son, Stoick?" Lord MacGuffin looked towards Stoick.

"He's old enough, I'd trust him to run my tribe. Don't worry, Hiccup knows everything about dragons."

"Hiccup? What kind of name is that?" Merida thought to herself as she was holding a laugh back. Hiccup was around the same age as her, more or less. Maybe a couple of months older, but to be named Hiccup? Now she was hating this more and more, she could only imagine the laughter between the lord's sons knowing her soon to be husband's name is.

She only sank into her chair more, feeling hopeless in this whole situation.

Lord Dingwall laughed as he heard Stoick's son's name.

"Hiccup? What kind of name is that?" He laughed again.

"My Lords, it is wise that we put our trust with chief Stoick, seeing that we have no choice but put this alliance together." Elinor spoke up.

Merida had enough and stood up as the chair pushed back making a loud sound. Elinor glared at her daughter's actions as she watched her storm out of the room.

"Forgive my daughter… Aye'll talk with her after we are finished." The Queen sat back straight watching the Lords eyeing her.

"She must be strong like her father." Elinor's eyes widened seeing Stoick smiling at her.

"She is… Just like her father…"

"That is no way to-"

"Dingwall! There's no need for that, Stoick was only lighting up our situation." She smiled back at the old chief.

"Thank ya, Stoick. Aye apologize about my daughter's attitude, aye only wish she was…"

"Better? I know what you mean, to have a child you wish and care for." Stoick smiled.

Elinor cleared her throat as she wiped her smile off, she continued with her offerings to the chief.

As she angrily set the belt onto the saddle down as she tossed her hair to the side. Pulling her bow over her shoulder and her quiver to her side she climbed onto her horse Angus.

"Aye! Princess!" She let a breath out as she didn't want to be bothered right now.

Turning her head she saw Your Macintosh walking up to her with Young Macguffin and Wee Dingwall.

"What dad does the Viking want with us?" He smirked at her.

"Aye rather not say anything about it." Merida stared forward.

"Is it that bad?" Wee Dingwall titled his head.

"Aye appreciate all ya concerns, but I wish to be left alone." Whipping her reins, Angus galloped off away from the castle.

She let the wind blow through her hair in hopes to clear her mind, she glared forward as she thought back to what had happened to her dad.

"Come now, that ain't fair!" Her father yelled as Merida laughed letting an arrow go.

"Fair is fair dad. What would mom would say if ya-"

"Alright alright! Sometimes aye think ya got ya mother intuition, ya wee devil." Merida giggled again as her father smiled back at her.

"Fine, how about this. Aye can hit the center of the tree hole down there." She pointed farther from the two of them.

"All the way down there? Are ya sure?" He gave her a challenging look.

"Aye believe aye can." Merida crossed her arms together as she smirked.

"Very well." Fergus took a stance as he pulled the arrow to his cheek. He let his breath go and let the arrow go hitting the tree hold.

"My turn." Merida did the same as her father as she let the arrow fly through hitting the arrow next to her dad's.

Before her father could walk over to get the arrows, Merida ran first telling him to wait for her as she smiled. As she reached the tree she pulled the arrow out with a tug. At first, it was hard to get then she tried again. It seemed nothing was working, so she felt what was causing the arrow to be stuck.

She felt something around, with cracks and hard. Before she could pull out whatever she was touching she heard a growl behind her. Quickly turning around she saw a large beast. It had large claws and its arms looked to have… Wings? Before she could pull her bow up, she watched the thing burst itself into flames growling at her.

She screamed out loud as she lunged away before the thing to nip at her.

"MERIDA!"

She looked overseeing her father running over with an arrow in the notch already ready to aim at this flaming beast. He stood there, mouth opened as he couldn't believe his eyes before him.

"DAD! LOOK OUT!"

Before looking back, Merida watched in horror as the beast whacked it's tail into her dad, sending him away. Quickly looked to the floor seeing an arrow she dropped and ran towards it, knocked it onto her bow as she aimed it at the red demon.

The demon must have sensed her as it shot fire right at her causing her to jump away. The tree that was once green and lively was now on fire and burning. Smoke was covering the area causing the poor Princess a hard time finding her father.

"Dad!" She called out.

She went back and forth dodging and shooting arrows that seemed to do nothing. However, it was getting too dangerous with the fires getting closer to her.

"Dad!" She coughed.

"Here, lassie!" Finally looking for her dad further from her she smiled knowing he was safe.

The beast whacked its claw at Merida causing her to be thrown across as her back harshly hit the ground. As she slowly opened her eyes and her vision was swirling she felt blood dripping from her head down to her face.

"Get away from her ya devil!"

It was all a blur to her, she remembers her dad helping her up and the demon went after him. By grace, Merida was able to get her father out despite his size and drag him away saving him. Though the amount of damage the beast did, caused him to be put to bed for days.

She shook her head at the memories as tears were dripping down, she had to be strong for her father. But what is she to do now? Was she really to give up her freedom just because they couldn't handle these…. Dragons? These Vikings called them. She only can think about her father and the outcome that just happened…

She sighed as she had Angus turn back around heading back home, as she helped put away Angus's saddle she went back home where she went into the room where her father was resting. She walked over sitting into the chair that was next to his bed placing a hand on his. She let the tears run down her face as she watched him weakly breathed in and out.

"A-aye'm trying dad… Aye'm trying to be strong… It's just hard… Why was it ya and not me!" Her final words she screamed as her eyes dropped with tears.

She felt her hand being squeezed causing her to gasp, she looked up seeing her father's hand holding hers. She smiled as she let a cry of relief knowing her father was fighting strong. The door opened and in came to Elinor watching her daughter crying. The mother and daughter just stared at each other for a moment before Elinor walked over. She grabbed another chair pulling it next to her daughter as she sat there. Her long hair was down free as she pulled her daughter into her arms. She allowed her daughter to cry as she rubbed her back hearing choked sobs in between.

Merida stopped hearing her mother sobbing, she looked up seeing her mother's eyes filled with tears as she tried to wipe them away with her sleeve. She pulled her mother back into another hug as the two continued to cry together grieving.

~Berk~

Stoick had returned to Berk after a day or two where he would bring the news to his sons. As he opened the door to the house there was sitting his oldest son Hiccup with his younger brother Vali staring at their dad at the door. He took a deep breath as he sat down with them staring at him.

"Vali, I need to talk to Hiccup alone." Vali stared back at his brother as they looked at each other confused.

Hiccup only shrugged as he motioned with his head upstairs, Vali just shrugged as he went upstairs where his room was at.

"Son, we need to talk." Stoick stared at his son.

"So… Dad, how was your trip?" Hiccup smiled.

"This is serious, son." Hiccup sat straight as he saw the look his dad was giving him.

"Was it bad? They didn't proclaim war against us?" Hiccup jokes only gaining a glare from his dad.

"Dunborch wanted to create an alliance between our clans."

"T-that's great! What's so bad about that?" Hiccup waited.

"You do know that Dunbroch also has an alliance with three other clans as well?" Hiccup nodded his head.

"They were asking us for help between dragon raids that have been happening in their homes." Hiccup's eyes widen, he's never heard though dragons were in Highlander territory.

Even though he's never been there, he's never seen dragons come from there.

"Dragons in Highlander's territory? Was it a migration? We've never heard dragons going that far before." Hiccup motioned with his hands.

"Neither have I, son. That is why the Dunbroch clan wanted to make an alliance with us. They want to know how to train dragons, so they can stop these raids." Hiccup raised a brow as he waited for his dad to say something else.

"Why do I get a feeling that there's something else with this alliance?"

"In order to gain trust with the other clans, an arrangement has to happen between our clans, Hiccup. Marriage." Hiccup stood from his chair as the sound echoed in the room.

"M-marriage!? Dad, you can't be serious? Did you even get to meet up, w-with whom I'm supposed to be marrying?" Stoick watched as his son stared at him in disbelief only to nod.

"Dad, can't you guys just make an alliance agreement? Or something other than marriage?"

"I wish I could son, but it's like I said. The other clan don't trust us, they've had a history with invaders that came into their lands."

"That wasn't us." Hiccup spat.

"Son, it's in their history." Stoick warned.

"So what?! That doesn't mean they get to outright judge us! We weren't that one to-... To go attack them! It's like they're expecting us to!" Hiccup glared.

"That is why we put this marriage between our clans! It's not only to gain trust between them but to strengthen them, son! You'll be marrying the Princess of Dunbroch." The two continued their glaring contest as they just glared at each other.

"Two days."

"What?" Hiccup's eyes widen.

"Two days son. We leave." Hiccup's eyes darted back and forth as he didn't want to stay home anymore.

He ran outside with his familiar reptile friend behind him, as he shook his head he grunted in anger. Toothless nudged his lead, gaining his rider's attention allowing him to rub his head. This allowed him to sigh loudly as he tried his best to calm himself.

"What is bad?" Hiccup turned around seeing his brother Vali watching him.

Hiccup let a soft laugh as he looked away.

"Sure, forcing your firstborn son into a marriage is bad, then I don't know what is!" Hiccup threw his arms in the air.

"What? But… Why?" Vali stared as he waited for his brother to answer.

"Why don't you ask dad? He's the one that went there and set up everything!" Vali flinched at Hiccup's outburst, realizing this Hiccup face softened as he looked away.

"I-I'm… I'm sorry Vali… I-I didn't mean to." Vali put a small smile on as he watched his brother.

"What are you two going on about?" The brothers turn to see Snotlout walking up to the two along with Fishlegs and Astrid there.

The twins followed soon behind as they wanted to know what commotion the Haddock brothers were going about.

"Dad put Hiccup into an arranged marriage." Vali looked away from the group as Hiccup looked down at the ground.

"What? He can't be serious?" Astrid burst out.

"What? With what clan?" Fishlegs asked.

"Clan Dunbroch, I'm going to be marrying the Princess of Dunbroch." Hiccup rolled his eyes as he imitated his dad's voice.

"A Highlander? He's really going to make you marry a highlander?" Astrid glared.

"Well not only a Highlander, a Princess." Vali sheepishly smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Right, a Princess. And that helps us out our tribe because?" Astrid galred.

"I was only saying that Astrid because that's what Hiccup told us." Vali galred back as he crossed his arms together.

"Wow, stuck with a Highlander. I guess it's great being a second born, huh Vali?" Snotlout smirked.

Before Snotlout could open another word Vail came charging in pinning down to the ground. Hiccup ran up to the two pulling his brother away from Snotlout as the rest of the gang helped pull the boys away from each other.

"Vali!" Hiccup pulled on his brother's arms trying to calm him down.

"You're not the one losing a brother!" That when everyone stopped and stared at Vali all in shock at what he had said.

"You're not…" He felt tears brimming his eyes.

Vali turned around running back to their house as he left Hiccup and the rest of the gang. As Hiccup ran after him Vali opened the door wide seeing that their father was still inside sitting at the table.

"Dad, please let me be the one to be married!" Vali slammed his hand onto the table.

"W-what?" Stoick stuttered.

"Vali! Please can we talk about this first? You have no idea what you're doing, you know that!" Hiccup pleaded.

"I'm sorry Vali, but between the agreement with the Queen and I we agreed that it would be her first born daughter Merida. Hiccup is first born, so it would have to be him."

"Please dad! I'll do it! I don't care, just allow me to be chained in this marriage. Please-"

"No, it's final! Hiccup is to be married to the Princess in two days! And I expect you both to be there."

~Dunbroch~

Merida was standing there shifting on her feet as she didn't want to be ready to meet her soon to be husband. She glared onward as she sat at her chair, her hair up in a tie, and in a tight dress, she hated so much. She begged her mother to at least let her hair just be tied up in which she only agreed to.

But as the doors opened she saw many of the guards marching through as a large man was walking through. It was Stoick the same man that she saw at the table talking to her mother. As he was walking down she saw a boy who was possibly 5'9, much taller than her. He had auburn hair with minor freckles on his cheeks. He has a brown leather vest with brown shoulder pads, he has a black belt by his waist. As well as another belt connected by his right shoulder pad.

Along with that he also wore a metal helmet with horns curly upwards at the sides. He had a long sleeve red shirt underneath his vest, he had dark green pants and only… One leg? The only leg he had left was his right. It reminded her a bit of her father. She wondered how he lost his leg.

"Dad…" Placing a hand to her chest she closed her eyes. Merida missed him dearly.

"You're highness." Stoick bowed looking at Elinor.

Merida watched as the boy next to him only stared at her. He didn't seem to be disgusted with her… More shocked.

"This is my firstborn son Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third." Stoick motioned him to bow.

Watching his green eyes stare at hers, as he bent down a bit. One glance he noticed on her right eye had a scar across it.

"And my second son, Vali Haddock."

A much tall teen walked next to Hiccup, he had red maroon hair, with a dark teal shirt on. He had a white fur vest and dark green pants. He also had black leather shoes with a brown belt around his waist. He too wore a helmet that was similar to Hiccup's. Vali looks to be about 6'1, much taller than Hiccup.

Merida watched as his lime green eyes stared at her for the moment then he bowed to her as Hiccup did.

"It's nice to finally meet your sons, Stoick. Especially Hiccup." Elinor nodded her head to Hiccup.

"That's Stoick the Vast firstborn son?"

"More like wee sheep than a tamer of beasts!"

Merida took a glance over to see who it was speaking, it was none other than Lord Macintosh. She rolled her eyes knowing well the Lords would be commenting on everything.

"But ya forget my Lords, Hiccup has taken down a dragon the size of mountains." Elinor motioned over to Hiccup.

Now it was Merida's turn to be shocked, he stared back at the boy's emerald green eyes. Looking to see if there was truth in them. Hiccup didn't flinch as he saw most if not all the highlander's eyes upon him.

"Is that true?" Lord Dingwall looked over.

"Aye, he saved our people and our tribe. In the battle, he fought alone, with his Nightfury he befriended. In the process, he lost his leg from the battle of the giant dragon." Stoick smiled down at his son.

Hiccup smiled back at his dad giving him a thank you. With that he stood a bit straighter, knowing his dad had his back. Vali stood there smiling at both his brother and his dad. He's always wanted two of them to get along better.

"That's how ya lost ya leg?" Merida spoke out, causing the Queen to glare at her.

"Merida." Her mother warned.

Merida scoffed softly so her mother wouldn't hear her mumble about how ridiculous it is that she couldn't ask about his leg.

"Very good. Now that your tribe is here, we shall-"

"Your Highness, will you allow me to take place for my brother?" Everyone looked over seeing Vali stepping forward.

"Vali, stop it!" Stoick scolded.

Not listening to him Vali continued on as he walked forward staring at the Queen.

"Please allow me to take my brother's place!"

"Aye'm sorry Vali but the agreement is done, it is to be between my firstborn daughter and-"

"Why can't he?" Merida looked over to her mother.

"Merida."

"What is done is done! It shall be between the first born Hiccup Haddock and my daughter. That is final!"

Everyone in the room flinched by the sound of the Queen's anger in her voice, guessing from the many highlanders. No one wanted to anger the Queen anymore.

Merida was getting ready, though to her surprise Berk has brought mostly everything they wanted her to wear for the wedding. A white dress with golden trims at the ends, a white fur cap with golden cloak clasps with bears symbols on them. And she also had golden bracelets on each wrist, though she thought it was strange that she would be wearing this white cape she had to wear.

She let out a sigh as the woman wore, working on her hair and placing a flower crown on her head. Merida looked back at herself in the mirror as she didn't know what to think. Her mother was behind her brushing her hair out to be sure that it wasn't tangled. She promised her daughter to allow her hair to be down this time. After she was finished Elinor walked over in front of her daughter smiling at her.

"Ya are beautiful dear." Elinor placed her hands onto her chest as she felt tears brimming in her eyes.

"Thanks mom." Merida smiled.

"Ya know… I-..." She saw tears fall on her mother's face causing the Princess to walk up causing many to glare at her.

She pulled her mother into a hug as she held her there, she cried placing a kiss onto her daughter's forehead. The other woman inside the room all looked at each other as they all decided to leave the room. Elinor pulled away from a fresh tear that had fallen, she stepped back as she smiled back at her daughter.

"Will dad be there?" Her eyes held hope as her mother's mouth opened.

"The medicine man said he still needs to recover, though knowing how stubborn ya father is aye know he will be there." She smiled at her.

Merida smiled back as she let a laugh out, she was happy that her father was going to be there with her. Though she must wonder if he knows what's going on.

"Mom, there has to be something else beside this marriage. Can't we do anything? Anything else but this?" She raised her arms up.

The Queen sighed as she had this conversation with her before, her daughter was still putting up a bit of a fight still.

"Merida, as aye told ya before. The agreement was between ya and Stoick's first born. Both of ya are first born. That is final." Her mother stared at her daughter.

Merida scoffed as she turned around not wanting to deal with another long rant by her mother.

It felt so strange just standing there by himself with a priest staring at him, though Gothi was there too to the side-eyeing the priest. Did the gods just hate him? Seems like it, they were probably laughing at him right now as he is to be put through a Christan tradition. Though his dad had told him they would allow some traditions to be mixed between the two clans to honor each other.

As he shifted a bit on his metal leg he turned his head to see where his dad was sitting. He nodded at him as he smiled while Vali waved at him, looking behind them was Astrid and the rest of the gang. The twins didn't look to be dressed up. Maybe it was just Astrid who was more upset wearing a dress? Snotlout looked to be bored as he was trying his best to flirt with the other Scott ladies.

Fishlegs was the only one to be having fun… Or at least to be since he was fascinated by all this culture we were all exposed to. I guess waiting inside a stone church was something he never thought he would set foot in. But Hiccup looked back ahead as he couldn't stop his mind. Was he ready for this? He shook his head knowing there wasn't any way out of this.

Hiccup looked behind him seeing Vali there glaring at their dad clearly not happy with any of this. Before Hiccup could motion to his brother to calm down, the bagpipes blared causing all the highlanders to stand. The Vikings looked behind them seeing the Princess at the entrance with the King holding her daughter's hand on his arm. Everyone followed through and stood up as they all watched Merida walk down the aisle only to look down to her feet.

"Ya look beautiful Merida." Her father whispered.

"Shouldn't ya be resting?" She smiled at him.

"And miss my sweet daughter's day? Never."

"Dad…"

"Aye knows lass, ya may be far away but aye'll always be here for ya." Even though Merida could tell her father needed to sit down, the King limped down with her till she reached the altar where her husband was waiting for her.

She didn't want to let go, her hand was stuck on her father's arm as she stared forward where the priest was at. Fergus brushed a finger onto her hand grabbing her attention as he smiled at her. He nodded giving Merida courage as she walked up by herself. The priest nodded to Hiccup allowing him to turn to face Merida as his eyes widened, a slight blush crept onto his face seeing her standing there.

She was beautiful… What?

"Dearly beloved, we are here in holy matrimony, blessed by God to bring together two clans. And in the first time, we will combine two traditions between the clan Dunbroch and Hairy Hooligan Tribe."

Hiccup couldn't hear what else the priest was saying as he just stared at the sky blues eyes staring at him. Getting out of his thoughts he heard Merida clear her throat holding her hands out for him to hold. He gulped as held her hands, they felt soft and her hands were small in his. He only hoped Merida never noticed his scars.

Merida watched as his hands shook a little while holding hers, she didn't want to ask. But watching him look down at his feet made her want to ask if he was alright. She then watched as Stoick walked up to Hiccup holding out a sword he had and handed it over to Hiccup. Hiccup held it into his hands as he gave it over to Merida in which she had the tip pointed to the ground. This sword giving was a tradition by Hiccup's family in which if the two were to have children they would hand down the family sword to their kids.

Before opening her mouth to ask, she felt something being wrapped around their hands, looking down she saw white clothes with golden lines at the ends. This old woman smiled at the couple as she waved her staff above before looking back at the priest.

"Now, these tied plaids. These symbolize the unity of the two families." The priest spoke out as he unwrapped the linen cloth.

He then gave the couple their rings for them to slip on their fingers.

"Use these rings, to signify your marriage, then say these vows as you put each other on."

"You cannot possess me for I belong to myself

But while we both wish it, I give you that which is mine to give

You cannot command me, for I am a free person

But I shall serve you in those ways you require

and the honeycomb will taste sweeter coming from my hand.

I pledge to you that yours will be the name I cry aloud in the night.

And the eyes into which I smile in the morning.

I pledge to you the first bite from my meat,

And the first drink from my cup.

I pledge to you my living and dying, equally in your care,

And tell no strangers our grievances.

This is my wedding vow to you.

This is a marriage of equals."

Merida slipped Hiccup's ring first and said her vows

Hiccup analyzed Merida's face as she said it, he noticed she didn't look him in the eye as she said the vows.

Hiccup slipped Merida's wedding ring onto her finger. The priest smiled and raised his hand bowing his head to the couple.

"I unify this Marriage between the two families. You may seal your vows with a kiss, you may now kiss the bride."

Hiccup gulped, since now he has to be the one to make the move. Hiccup slowly leaned forward as Merida was just eyeing him, he leaned close enough where their lips almost touched. But after a bit he pressed his lips to her kissing her, making Merida his wife.

Even though Merida didn't want to admit it, Hiccup wasn't a bad kisser. In fact, she enjoyed it a bit. What? Enjoyed it? What was she thinking? But it was over once Hiccup quickly pulled away as he turned forward-looking at everyone. Merida turned as well as the two waved their hands at everyone in the church.

Though the celebration part at the castle wasn't too bad, mostly everyone was singing the songs of Mor'du again and congratulating the couple on their new unity. Merida only groaned as she didn't want to be here, she wished to be with Angus riding in the sunset as she let the arrows go free. But it all cut short after she said her goodbyes to her family and was packing to leave Dunbroch. Home…

As Hiccup walked her over to where their camp was at she stopped looking behind seeing the castle farther away than what she liked. Hiccup noticed the Princess had stopped and watched her look at her home. He felt a ping of guilt in his chest knowing she had to be the one to leave everything behind. Before Hiccup said anything she turned back around seeing him watching her.

"What?" She glared.

"N-nothing…" She walked past him getting near the camp as a familiar black dragon came running through to greet Hiccup.

"Hey, hey Toothless! No, no! Hey, calm down. Please, not on the wedding outfit." Hiccup groaned.

Merida's eyes widened as she saw the Nightfury in front of her, this was the Nightfury? She thought… It was bigger? But she didn't want to go near the dragon as she watched how painfully Hiccup was trying to prevent his friend from licking him.

"Alright, now can you take us home?" Toothless rolled his eyes as he moved over to allow Hiccup to climb on.

"Come on." Hiccup smiled at her.

Merida didn't want to go near the dragon at first but slowly walked towards him. Hiccup held a hand out for her to grab on as she brushed it off and climbed onto the saddle.

"Just hold on tight, Toothless will go easy. Right bud?"

After a bit of screaming from the momentum of Toothless, Merida held tight onto Hiccup as they flew home.

"Night!"

The doors close by many of the villagers leaving the couple inside their own house.

Merida's breath stopped as she realized what will happen next, she wasn't ready for any of this. She looked up to the stairs where she assumed where their bed was at.

"Here, I guess I'll show you our room." Hiccup walked up to the stairs motioning her to follow her.

Merida complied as she followed Hiccup to their bedroom and stopped at the door. She watched him unclasp his clasp and take off his cape to the side. Merida hands balled into fists as she was shaking with anger, she didn't want any of this nor did she wanted to deal with her new husband. She glared at Hiccup as he turned back at her waiting for her to say something.

"What?"

"Let me make something very clear." She walked up to him causing Hiccup to lean back almost falling.

"Ya and aye didn't want anything to do with each other right?" Hiccup nodded his head only in fear she might hurt him.

"Ya don't touch me, at all. Got it?" He nodded his head again as she smiled knowing she won.

"Oh and if aye catch ya peaking in while aye'm changing. Aye'll cut ya jewels off." She stomped her way out of the room leaving a stunned Hiccup.

AN: Alright, finished finally! Yes so this point of the story takes place one year after brave and one year before RTTE starts. I'm also making Hiccup and Merida around the same age in this story, with Hiccup only being a couple of months older. So, I hope you enjoy this story :D
