Tris POV

"U… U… Uriah?" I ask in shock.

How is he here? Last time I saw him was him laying on a hospital bed in a coma. How much did I miss? Did he manage to survive? I need answers and fast.

Uriah smiles and I can't help but smile back, God his smile is so infectious. "Hi, Tris. Is really good to see you again." Uriah says.

I slightly laugh glad to see him again. Then I run towards him and hug him. "It's so good to see you too." I say as Uriah snakes his arms around me and hugs me back.

Then Uriah abruptly pulls away and his face goes stern. I've never seen him this serious so something must be wrong. "Tris, a lot has happened but I can't explain it now. I need you to trust me." Uriah explained.

Now I'm getting confused. What is going on? What has happened? My mind is trying to process anything that could be useful but nothing. What of the gang? Are they in danger?!

Tobias POV

Being with the gang is definitely cheering me up. Seeing Zeke joking around is hilarious, I don't how he can be so funny. Evelyn is now cleaning up the kitchen, I offered to help but she insisted that I needed to be with my friends.

Cara then starts talking about how she had been working on a machine that would allow us to travel faster to the Bureau, it's quite an interesting concept but I lost track when she went into details.

Just as Evelyn joins us, I hear a knock. I quickly sit up. "I'll get it." I say and I head to the door. When I open it, I see Caleb and Matthew. My relationship with Caleb hasn't been the best since our time at the Bureau He should have gone into that chamber, not Tris!

But I have to admit that he hasn't been an asshole about it, which I'm glad about. Matthew had become close friends with Caleb quite quickly when he came with us to Chicago, which surprised a lot of us, but we ignored.

It's weird for them to be here, they used to be at work. Then Caleb speaks up. "I know we shouldn't be here right now but we have something we need to tell you and the rest of the gang. May we come in?"

"Of course. They are in the living room." I say as I let them come in. Then I notice that Matthew is carrying a laptop. What are they going to tell us? I close the door and head back to the living room.

I sit on the couch with Zeke and Evelyn beside me, Shauna is sitting on Zeke's lap while Christina and Cara are sitting on chairs. I watch as Caleb and Matthew prepare the laptop. Then I see Shauna tapping her foot impatiently, and then Christina starts taping her fingers on her leg.

"Could someone explain what's going on? The silence is driving me crazy?" Shauna says anxiously. Then Caleb looks at her after Matthew inserted a code in the laptop. "We will explain everything in just a minute." Caleb says and then turns his attention back to Matthew. "Everything ready, Matthew?" Caleb asks.

"Just about." Matthew answers and then turn the laptop toward us. I can see we are seeing through a security camera and I realize that it's The Pit. Why are they showing us this? Then I see two people talking to each other, I can see one is a man and the other is a woman but I can't tell who they are.

Matthew then zooms into the woman's face and I'm shocked. It can't be. It can't be. But it is. It's Tris. I would recognize her grey eyes anywhere. But how is she alive? I threw her ashes while went on the zip line.

I look at my friends and they are equally as shocked as I am. Then I see Christina looking at Caleb and Matthew. "Is this a joke? Please tell me it's a joke." Christina says. They immediately shake their heads. "This is no joke, this is real and it's happening right now."

All of a sudden, Zeke is on Caleb. He grabs him by the neck and lifts him off his feet. "HOW LONG DID YOU KNOW THIS?! DID YOU WANT HER ALL TO YOURSELF?! WHAT ABOUT US?! WHAT ABOUT FOUR?!" Zeke shouts furious.

I have never seen him this mad but, right now, ignore it. I have too much on my plate. Tris is alive; she's alive. My Tris is alive. Shauna manages to calm Zeke and then my mother places her hand on my shoulder and whispers, "Tobias, are you okay?"

I quickly snap out of my shock and look at her. "I don't know what to think. I mean, I'm very happy Tris is alive but, at the same time, I'm very shocked at seeing her." I explain.

She gives me a warm smile. "It's normal. Just give it time; I'm sure Tris would be glad to see you." She says. I smile at her glad she understands me, and then I looked back at Matthew who is now helping Caleb. I need my answers now! "Explain everything." I say sternly.

Matthew looks at me with fear and that's what I want. "Of course." Matthew says as he places Caleb on a chair. We all quickly get ready to listen to their explanation.

"Okay, I'm going to tell you how I found out that Tris was alive and then Caleb is going to explain how he found her." Matthew says. Zeke immediately intervenes. "Hold up! So you are saying that both of you didn't find this out together?"

Matthew nods. "Caleb found her first." Matthew says and he takes a deep breath. I take a small glance at the laptop and I see Tris smiling which makes me slightly smile. Then I look back at Matthew.

"I found out when I was looking through the security cameras of our lab when I spotted a body in one of our test rooms. I knew there shouldn't be a body there so I went to check it out. When I go there, I was shocked at seeing Tris there. I walked over to her and saw the was sleeping. Then Caleb walked in and I demanded him to tell me why she was there and how was she alive." Matthew explains and then looks at Caleb who is now rubbing his neck.

Caleb looks at Matthew and he sighs. He stands up and looks at us. "I found out that Tris was alive when I was walking around the old Erudite building. I just got out of work when I heard a groan, I first didn't take notice of it but then it got louder so I went to check it out. When I got to the source of the groan, I was very shocked at seeing Tris laying on the ground with no clothes and covered in blood. I quickly ran towards her and gave her my jacket so she wouldn't get cold. I asked her why she was here and how she was alive and she said that she didn't know. I took her to my place and healed her. Then I realized that keeping in my house was a bad idea so I took her to my lab and kept her there but I was always watching over here. But two days ago, she disappeared and Matthew and I started looking for her. Matthew found her today at Abnegation and we have been following her so we could find out where she was going. Now we are trying to find out who she's with but it's definitely with someone she trusts." Caleb explains.

I'm furious, he knew all this time and he didn't tell me! That little prick! I'm about to jump on him when I hear a beeping noise. Cara looks at the laptop and quickly turns back to us. "It's Tris. It seems she's running away from someone." Cara says.
