Hey all! So apparently this has been sitting in the doc manager for weeks now and I totally thought I had posted it, turns out I was wrong. So for that I am truly sorry. There is mentions of Mikki in here and she belongs to KikiJaunita and you need to ask her permission. Any other characters that you don't recognize from Glee our mine and can't be used without my permission!

Enjoy!

"So Sebastian," she smirked, catching his soft groan at the use of his full name from his best friend. "Any romantic plans for Valentine's day?" She asked him, plopping down next to him on his couch having a movie night as it's just the two of them.

"Yeah school," he retorted, tossing his best friend a sly smirk. Onyx rolled her eyes, clearly not impressed with him. "You have anything planned?" He questioned flipping it on her.

"Dinner at home," she shrugged. "You know how much I hate making a big deal about Valentine's day and after spending my day at school teaching, the last thing I want to do is go out and Clint has a club to run that night. Dinner at home is the easiest for us. We can always go out on Saturday," she told him. She really didn't care how they spent their night, not as long as she got to spend it with him, it didn't have to be anything special at all.

She didn't need anything fancy to know that her boyfriend loves her. A simply dinner at home, one they enjoyed making together, would always beat out an overly priced restaurant. She didn't need some holiday; however, you wanted to look at it to tell her how to spend her day with the one she loves.

"Do I need to pass it along to your guy?" Seb asked with a smirk, lightly nudging her. She shook her head. They talked about it, wanting to make sure they're on the same page. A new recipe planned out and waiting for Valentine's day to be cooked and tried out.

"Do I need to pass along that you have nothing planned?" She teased, swiping a handful of his chips.

"It's all planned out, and I have no idea what it is," he sighed. "She's planning it this year. We've come to the agreement that we take turns, to be fair," he explained to her having gotten a confused look from his friend.

"It makes sense," she nodded. "Though it didn't answer my question if you have anything special planned. You can't sit here and tell me that you don't have a gift of some kind for the woman you love," she said, raising an eyebrow. She's knows how much of a romantic he can be, that he's had it planned out since the day they made their relationship official.

"Of course I do and no, I'm not telling you or showing you because it wouldn't be right," he told her, giving her a challenging look, that said everything she needed to know.

"See I get that," she nodded. "You're not going to propose are you?" She asked eyeing him. She had nothing against getting proposed to on Valentine's days; a lot of people did, and that's why she didn't want to be asked on a day for love; it was more of a cliché to her and she wants to have a special day just for them and not a day shared with anything else.

"No," he laughed, shaking his head. "Honestly, I don't know if that's something we're ready for, and I see no reason on why we need to rush into the rest of your lives. And give me credit here, Onyx," he told her, giving her a look. "The day I pop the question, is going to be a day a little more special," he stated, giving an eyeroll.

"Wanted to make sure," she laughed. "Now can we get back to the movie?" She asked.

"Really?" He scoffed, grabbing the remote off the coffee table. "You're the one that paused it, to gossip," he laughed, hitting the play button only to pause it hearing her talk once more.

"Which reminds me," she smirked. "Did you hear that Kelly from the library got engaged to her ex-husband?" She asked. They'd been divorced barely a year, and she's been having a hard time trying to wrap her head around the fact they wasted a bunch of money for a divorce only to get married again. It didn't make sense to her.

"I heard something like that," he nodded. "But I didn't want to believe, you know the facility gossips more than the students," he pointedly told her.

"Oh I know," she laughed. "But I come with facts. Kelly told me herself, she had to show off the ring," she dramatically stated. "Can you make me a promise?" She asked, giving her friend a look, biting her lip out of nerves.

"I promise I won't let you make a big-ass mistake in getting divorced only to get remarried to the same guy, which at the point we can say is Clint," he teased lightly. "We've been friends for a long time; I know most favors before you ask me," he laughed.

"Is it silly to think like that?" She asked him. She didn't sit around daily day dreaming about her future, she's no longer that naïve kid making plans of where she'll get married, when it will happen, how it comes to be and who she'll marry. She simply thinks about the future in any year and imagines how her life will be like, if she'll be married to her love living out her great love story. And sure she puts Clint into that spot of husband because today he is her great love. She does want to write her love story next to him, today and every day, forever.

"Oh no, I'm not going to get into that topic; that's why you have friends who are girls to talk with," he retorted. "But," he said, cutting her little protest off. "You love the guy and if you can see yourself happily married for years to come, then you think about marrying him all you want," he stated.

"Is that what you do, think about the future with Mikki?" She asked him, seeing the light blush on his cheek. "Should I prepare myself now?" She teased him.

"No," he told her shaking his head. "We've been through this, not even five minutes ago," he said, hitting the play button. "Now shush," he smirked.

She rolled her eyes, shoving her friend as they settled back in to finish the movie they've paused a handful of times. Not that it quite mattered as they've seen the movie a dozen times or more. Giving her the chance to act like she's watching the movie but really getting lost in her own thoughts about what her future could hold with Clint. What she saw she liked, they did, however, have a few things that they should discuss in great lengths.

She always hated leaving his place with it being such a mess from their night in, but he refused to let her help, wanting her to get home before it gets any later. She couldn't complain there, but it didn't sit right to leave her mess for him to clean up either.

"You okay, babe?" Clint asked, closing his laptop and stretching his limbs out, standing up. Meeting her halfway.

"More than okay," she smiled, melting into the hug, letting her eyes close. "Am I losing you to work tonight?" She asked, burying her head into his chest.

"Nope, just finished everything when you came in. Checked in at work and it's under control for the night. I only have to go in if some sort of emergency comes up," he told her, planting a kiss to her head.

Spending her nights with her boyfriend where magic and perfect in every-way. Not many nights during the week do they get to crawl into bed together. With her early bed time needing to be up early and his late nights at work, it's everything when they can call it a night together.

She frowned waking up for work seeing that not only is her boyfriend gone but so is their dog. Not holding the lonely wake up against the pooch she got up and got ready for her day. She grabbed a granola bar, and her coffee that Clint had set to brew for her and headed out once she made sure she had everything she needed for work.

"Here I thought I was going to miss you," she smiled, stepping off the elevator to see her boyfriend waiting to get on.

"Someone thought he would be a butthead this morning," he laughed, pulling his girlfriend into a hug.

"Isn't that every morning?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Clint laughed, crashing his lips to hers, knowing if they stood there much longer she'd be late for work.

"Have a good day at work," he told her, sharing another kiss, one much more innocent than the previous one. "Love you," he whispered against her lips.

"Love you," she smiled, pulling away from him, heading out to her car as he once again is stuck waiting on the elevator.

The commute to work wasn't anything special, in fact, it's the same as most mornings, long lines of cars to deal with, the radio playing music and giving out traffic reports and the forecast for the day and the next few ones as well. Birthdays were announced and as she pulled into a parking spot, they went over the lunch menu for the various schools. She grabbed her stuff and headed into the school, stopping first in the teacher's lounge to drop off her lunch, smiling at the few teachers grabbing a coffee.

Getting to her room, she put her stuff away, feeling how empty the room is without Jake there as he moved on to another school to student teach at. He did have a lot of promise in being a teacher. Students entered the class as she slowly got things put where she needed them to be, her computer turned on, for attendance.

She's watched throughout her classes as they brought in the red, white and pink carnations handing them out to each student they were for. She smiled, watching a student smile and blush when a flower is placed on their desk or handed to them. She could remember back to high school and feel how special and loved it made you feel. With that, distribution is why she picked a packet to work on for the period.

Unfortunately for her, this term left her having a different lunch hour than Seb and most of the teachers she talked to, so for the day she took her lunch back to her room, wanting to get some papers graded before midterm in a little over a week.

"I really need to find me a woman, the way you have found yourself a man that adores you," Dani stated, entering the classroom a vase of Dahlia's and two long stem roses. "He does know that he should've gotten you a bouquet of roses right?" She asked, giving them to Onyx.

"Nope, this is perfect," she smiled. "I am not a huge fan of roses and would much rather have Dahlias; these two roses are a nice little touch though," she told her friend. "You'll find someone to treat you right, when you're not even looking for it," she shared, because really that's how she found Clint, calling off anything remotely to do with love and guys when he came to be her whole world.

"I'm counting on it," Dani sighed, making her exit.

Onyx smiled, placing the flowers in the window, swiping the card to read as students started to slowly trickle in for class. 'Hello my beautiful love. These are my thinking of you flowers. I love you. Love, Clint.'

'Thanks for the flowers, love them, and I love you. Always yours xoxo.' She texted him, as the bell rang for class to start.

"Projects are due Tuesday, so let's get into our groups and work," she told her class, having already taken attendance. "If you need to do research, feel free to use the computers in the back of the room," she informed them, letting them get to work.

Her last hour of the day, went by quickly as she figured it would go by slow, since she does have plans, and it's Friday. "Alright, I'll be seeing you all Tuesday and remember to have your finished projects as we'll start the presentation on them. Have a good weekend," she told them, pushing her door open to let her class go a few minutes before the bell, Seb having done the same for his class.

"Someone's in a hurry," he laughed, standing in the hall out of the way of the students rushing through the halls.

"Yeah, you," she laughed. "I already know my plans for the night, you, however, don't," she teased.

"Laugh it up," he sulked, heading back into his room to get his things put away, and his classroom put back into order.

"I'm not laughing it up," she told him, standing in the doorway of his classroom. "I'm sure what your girl has planned, is going to be perfect and you," she told him, spinning around to cross the hallway back to her own classroom to get in order.

She did find it a bit difficult to carry her stuff and her vase of flowers to the car, along with finding them a spot they wouldn't tip over on the way home, wanting a bunch of water on the floor of her car.

"What are you doing?" She asked, unbuckling her seat belt, as her boyfriend opened her car door for her.

"Grabbing the mail and saw you pull in," he smirked, helping her out of the car, stealing a small kiss. "Get everything?" He asked, moving to take out the few bags of groceries.

"With ease," she remarked, getting her bags and the flowers. "Though I am curious to know if you changed up the dessert we had planned on making with the extra little ingredients you added to the list," she told him, entering the apartment building.

"They're not for dinner or dessert," he told her, stepping through the door first as his hands were full from the bags of groceries, and she held the door open for him. "You'll find out tomorrow morning for breakfast," he smirked, using his thumb to call the elevator.

"What about the mail?" She asked him, coming to stand next to him. "That is the reason you were down here, wasn't it?" She asked him.

"It'll be fine until later," he shrugged, stepping inside the elevator when the doors opened. Onyx nodded and entered as well, knowing they'd be down again later to walk Captain.

Onyx laughed, dusting the flour from her clothes and trying to shake it out of her hair, because there's no way she's going to wash her hair with a ton of flour in it.

"Go shower," her boyfriend laughed, cleaning up the mess they had created in the kitchen. Their dinner in the oven for the next half hour.

"You can always join me," she smirked, shutting the bathroom door halfway.

Clint chuckled lightly, the urge to say hell with it and join his girlfriend in the shower to really steam the room up; he stayed put, cleaning up the mess in the kitchen, working quickly as he could without leaving any food streaks behind and moving on to get the table set. Adding some dinner candles, waiting until he could hear the shower turn off before lighting them. He placed a small vase of roses in the center of the table.

"What are you up too?" She asked, meeting her boyfriend right outside of the bathroom door, blocking her view of the kitchen.

"Why do I have to be up to anything?" He asked, creasing his eyebrows. She reached up rubbing between his eyebrows.

"Because it's you," she retorted, earning a small chuckle from her boyfriend. "And it's like your default setting," she shrugged, standing on her toes to place a kiss to his cheek.

"I'll accept that," he grinned, kissing her forehead, sending her on her way to the bedroom to get dressed, slipping into the bathroom to get cleaned up himself.

"Babe," she smiled, seeing the table. "You didn't have to do that," she told him, wrapping him up in a hug.

"No, I didn't have to, but I wanted to do it," he told her, his hands resting on her lower back. "Come on, foods going to be done soon," he told her, giving her a gentle kiss, moving over to the oven to turn the timer off when it started to beep.

While Clint got dinner out of the oven, she got the salad from the fridge along with the bottle of wine. Placing the wine on the table, she put a small portion of salad on both their plates, Clint doing the same with their mini pot pies.

"You do remember which one is which right?" She asked, digging through a drawer for the corkscrew.

"Yes," he told her, moving past her and pulling a different drawer open, grabbing the corkscrew with a smirk, giving her hip a gentle squeeze as he moved past her to open the bottle of wine. "If not, oh well," he stated, pouring the wine into the glasses.

"Easy for you to say," she mumbled, sitting down.

"A little steak isn't going to hurt you, Onyx," he chuckled, shaking his head, sitting down, picking his glass up. "Happy Valentine's day, babe," he said.

"Happy Valentine's day, baby," she smiled, clinking her glass against his. "I love you," she told him, taking a sip of the wine.

"As I love you," he retorted, digging into his food. Giving her an 'I told you so' look when she got her turkey pot pie, instead of his steak one.

They talked about their day and other random things as they ate, sharing laughs as they enjoyed their food and wine, and their first Valentine's dinner as a couple. Before they could get started on their dessert of a cinnamon roll cheesecake, Clint got a call from work saying he needed to come in, not saying what was so urgent. He hated to leave before their night was done with, but he couldn't ignore work. And it's something that Onyx understood, because work is work and not something, you can ignore. They could stretch their Valentine's day into as many days as they want. Heck the whole weekend could be their Valentine's weekend, and no one could tell them otherwise.

"We'll do dessert once you get home," she told him, standing with him by the door. "It's fine and I don't care if it's 2 in the morning, you've got to go," she told him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I know," he sighed, capturing her lips in a steamy kiss, one that she wanted to continue in their bedroom. Reluctantly, she broke the kiss. "We'll come back to that as well," she grinned.

Clint chuckled, sending her a wink as he left for work. As for Onyx, she got busy cleaning up from their dinner, getting things put away and washed all before she got comfortable on the couch with her bag for school with the TV playing some Valentine's movie as Captain curled up next to her as she got busy grading essays.

"Hey sleepyhead," Clint whispered. Getting home, he smiled seeing his girlfriend and pup curled up on the couch both snoozing away. He had moved the papers she had been grading and placed them on the coffee table, before gently waking her up.

"Hey," she smiled, stretching some of her sore muscles out. "What time is it?" She asked, moving to curl up into his warm embrace, her hand going under his shirt to caress his toned stomach.

"15 minutes to midnight," he told her, dropping a kiss to her head. He tried to tell everyone that he could work until closing but they pretty much kicked him out of his own club telling him they had it handled for the night and if anything major were to come up, they'd call him.

"You're home early," she said, trying and failing at holding her yawn at bay.

"Let's get you to bed," he chuckled. She shook her head, grabbing her bag by the couch, handing him the gift she had hidden inside. "Babe..."

"I wanted to get you something because I do love you, and it's not even about today being Valentine's day. I like getting you things. You want to take care of me, and I want to take care of you," she told him, cutting off whatever else he planned on saying.

"That's always good to know," he smiled, kissing her temple. "But if you would've let me finish, I was going to say thank you," he teased her, slowly opening the small square gift. She rolled her eyes in a playfully manner, smiling as she watched him open the gift.

"I've never heard of someone saying thank you before they open a gift," she teased.

"Don't ya know it's best to say thank you before opening the present, that way you don't have to fake you like the gift," he smirked, opening the small box.

"That's both a clever and jerk move to make," she stated, raising an eyebrow at him. "And I would rather you be honest with me if you like it or dislike it," she told him. She really didn't want him to lie to her about liking a gift, if he didn't like it.

"Honestly, I like these," he smiled, looking over the cuff links with a jewel encrusted saxophone. "Thank you," he said, pulling her into his lap, letting himself get lost in his girlfriend, kissing along her neck and jawline before molding his lips over hers for an intoxicating kiss.

"This isn't a ring, is it?" She asked, holding the small black box between them as she still sat on his lap.

"If I told you, wouldn't that ruin the surprise?" He questioned her with a smirk. "Uh huh, you're the one that said you like good surprises," he reminded her.

"That is true, but if this is a ring, it's not a good surprise," she told him with a frown.

"Maybe you should just open the box," he chuckled, rubbing his thumb against her flesh, resting at her waist.

She slowly opened the small box, holding her breath; she'd have words, plenty of words if it did, in fact, turn out to be a ring. She had nothing against the multitude of people getting engaged on Valentine's day, she, however, didn't want that for her own engagement.

"They're beautiful," she gushed, turning the box in different ways to see the elephant earrings accented with diamonds. "I love them and I love you," she rushed out, quick to crash her lips against his, quick to deepen the kiss.

"See what happens when you doubt me," he joked. She rolled her eyes, her smile never leaving her face. For him being engaged was too soon, and he does like where their relationship is at. That and he had plenty of people in his ear telling him what not to give her for a gift. Advice he appreciated, though didn't need.

"Just shut up and take me to bed," she commanded. He got up, holding her tight as she wrapped her arms and legs around him as he carried her to their bedroom.

"As you wish."
