I do not own 'Ducktales' or anything related.

"After a daring raid on Zillionaire Scrooge McDuck's candy factory, the Beagle Boys have once again been captured and brought to justice.

A small wooden ship, the valuable object d'art the villains were after, is safely back in the hands-"

A white feathered hand holding a remote appeared in front of the screen and paused it. The other hand drummed its fingers on the desk. El Capitan, in front, looked nervous.

"We're not happy, El Capitan."

The speaker, a duck in a fine black suit with a British accent, turned his chair to look straight at El Capitan.

"Not happy at all."

A duck who looked and sound identical to the other also turned his chair to look at El Capitan.

"We track you down, we let you know about the location of the model ship you've been so desperately looking for for years."

"We even suggested the Beagle Boys, and we all asked for in return is a cut."

"And how do you repay us? By failing miserably and letting the ship fall out of your hands thanks to a senior citizen and a bunch of ducklings."

"We expected much more from the great El Capitan. So much more-"

"Do not speak to me as if I was one of your employees! As you mentioned before, it was you who suggested the beagle boys. If they failed, then it's on your heads!"

"You dare speak to us like that?"

"Us? The 3rd and 4th richest ducks in the world?"

"The 3rd and 4th? Well then perhaps I should take my business with the 2nd richest duck in the world?"

"You walk out of this office, and you'll regret it!"

"No one walks out of a deal with the Anas Brothers! No one!"

El Capitan slammed the door behind him.

"Great. Now what are we supposed to do?" The brother named Michael asked, while the other brother, Wallace, noticed something on the screen, "El Capitan was our best chance to get our hands on the treasure."

"We don't need El Capitan. We just need the ship."

"But we don't have the ship, Scrooge McDuck has it!"

"That maybe so," Wallace smiled, "But we do have an image of it."

He gestured to the screen, showing the imprint the ship left in the chocolate.

"There's no such word as 'Gannawondat' in Spanish," Michael explained as they examined the image, "So it must be some kind of code."

"What kind of code?" Wallace asked.

"If we replace the letters with the order of their number in the alphabet," Michael wrote it down, "Then we get coordinates. The treasure is in Ronguay, South America."

"Soon, we will have our hands on the greatest collection of gold in the world."

"And then WE shall be the richest ducks in the world, and Duckburg shall be ours!"

"Shall we participate in some malevolent quackling?"

"Yes, I say we should."

"MWAHAHA! MWAHAHA! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!"

The Anas brothers' hi-tech plane flew to Ronguay.

"It won't be a matter of time before McDuck himself has worked out what we have," Said Michael.

"Bah!" Wallace scoffed, "Even when he does, he'll prioritise cost over quality of travel. That skinflint doesn't know how to enjoy his own wealth. Money is meant to be used, not hoarded."

The brothers laid on a couple of beach benches, as Wallace's drink was refilled by a robot.

"Ah. This is the life. And pretty soon, our lives will become much more livelier."

Once they had arrived, the brothers went to a shop to buy supplies and transport.

"You're not from around here, are you?" The shop keeper asked, "You shouldn't be sticking around here right now. The Monsapis will be upon us soon."

"Monsapis?" Wallace asked.

"That's Spanish for the centennial series of torrential rain and flooding," Michael explained.

"Oh right. Well, like a little bit of rain is going to stop the Anas brothers from treasure hunting."

"I did say torrential rain, not a little bit of rain! Perhaps we should wait until it has passed."

"Nonsense! Besides, if we do, Scrooge McDuck will likely get his hands on the treasure before us."

"We can't get the treasure if we're dead. Chances are that if McDuck does try to hunt for the treasure during the Monsapis, he'll likely be swept away."

"Or survive and get the treasure. Come on, brother, we're Anases. Neither rain, nor hail, nor sleet, nor snow, shall stop us from getting our hands on gold."

"I'm pretty sure I've never heard that family motto before."

"That's because I've just come up with it. Well if you want to chicken out, fine, but I'm going for the gold."

"Oh fine, if you're going to be that stubborn, I might as well come with you to make sure you stay out of trouble!"

Trekking through the desert, the brothers eventually come to a mountain range, only to come to a dead end.

"Check the map again," Wallace suggested.

"I have. The ship should be here."

"But no ship sails uphill."

"Perhaps we should check the mountains."

They checked. They checked and they checked and they checked, but they could find no sign of the ship. They checked for so long that the monsapis finally came. The brothers put up their umbrellas and put on suitable clothing, but they still couldn't find it. They were searching for so long that they eventually heard voices.

"Quick! Someone's coming!"

"Let's hide!"

They hid behind some rocks. Peeping up, they saw who it was.

"It's Scrooge McDuck!"

"And his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie!"

"Oh no, a dead end!" Scrooge exclaimed, "No one can sail a ship uphill! I've been fooling myself!"

Dejected, Scrooge sat on a rock.

"You can't give up, Uncle Scrooge!" Huey tried to encourage him, "Maybe if we checked one of these mountains!"

"Which one?" Scrooge asked.

"The map will say," Said Louie.

"We've been over it a million times! I'm finished!"

"He's what?" Wallace asked.

"But how can you just-" Dewey started to ask.

"You don't understand! My whole life I've always worked to stay ahead of wolves like Glomgold! I've always feared I'd lose my touch and the wolves would beat me. Now that day has finally come!"

"Hahahahahaha!" Wallace cackled, "Even if we don't find the gold, it's worth it to see McDuck so defeated!"

"Real treasure hunters don't quit searching!" Louie told him, "I mean, well…look!"

He showed his uncle the ship again.

"Why's this man upside down, huh? Maybe that's a clue!"

"Wait, what?" Wallace asked.

Making the ship upside, Scrooge realised something.

"Wait! Louie, you're right!"

Taking the ship, Scrooge compared it to a nearby cave.

"They match!"

"What!" Michael exclaimed, "How did we miss that?"

"We've been combing these mountains for hours, and it was right there?"

"Why else would they use a boat for a map?" Scrooge reasoned.

Dewey gasped.

"Hey! I think I see a cave big enough for…"

"A ship!" Scrooge exclaimed, "Follow me!"

His nephews followed after him.

"We've gotta get there before Scrooge and his nephews do!" Michael told his brother.

"Right!" Wallace agreed, and they ran after them.

"Gasp! It's empty!" They heard Scrooge exclaim as they reached the entrance.

Wallace was about to enter when his brother stopped him.

"No wait!"

He grabbed his arm.

"They'll see us!"

"Well what do you expect us to do?"

"Wait for them to fall asleep. Then we'll explore the caves."

After Scrooge and his nephews had gone to sleep, the Anas brothers entered the cave.

"Wait, stop!"

Michael grabbed his brother's arm again.

"Will you please stop doing that?" Wallace hissed.

"Look!"

Michael pointed to a rope.

"It's an alarm."

"Right. Let's walk over it."

And they did so.

While exploring the caves, Wallace didn't look where he was going.

"YAIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"Wally!" His brother exclaimed, grabbing him by the hand when he was hanging off a cliff and pulled him up.

When they looked down, they gasped.

"THE TREASURE!"

"WE DID IT! WE DID IT!"

The two celebrated, interlocking arms as they danced in a circle on the ship.

"Quick! Grab as many coins as you can!"

And they did so, stuffing them into their pockets.

"But how are we supposed to get the rest of the treasure out of here?"

"Hmmm."

Rubbing his chin, Wallace had an idea.

"We'll do what Anases do best. Let the others do the hard work, then take away all of their bounty. Ahahaha! Ahahahaha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAA!"

Hiding on the ship, the brothers expected Scrooge and his nephews to find the ship, and once they had fixed the ship, rob them of it. More people arrived on the ship, but it wasn't Scrooge and his family.

"It's Flintheart Glomgold!"

"And that double crosser El Capitan!"

Apparently Glomgold and El Capitan had the same idea, hide on the ship and let Scrooge's group fix the ship before taking it from them, but the Anas brothers managed to hide from them too. When they did arrive, and managed to fix the ship, and Glomgold held them at gunpoint, the brothers were behind a door, and readied their guns.

"Correction. My Gold!" Glomgold told them.

"My gold!" Said El Capitan, holding a bar of gold, "My gold!"

A gunshot knocked Glomgold's gun out of his hand.

"What the-?"

Everyone turned towards where the gunshot came from.

"Correction," Said Michael.

"Our gold," Wallace finished.

Glomgold and El Capitan held up his hands.

"You two!" Scrooge exclaimed.

"Yes."

"Us two."

"Who are they, Uncle Scrooge?"

"More wolves."

"And these wolves -"

"Will have our fill."

"Aha."

"Ahahahaha!"

"AHAHAHAHA!" They quackled together.

Wallace continued to hold Scrooge, his nephews and Glomgold at gunpoint, directing them to a lifeboat.

"Alright, El Capitan."

Michael had returned with his gun in El Capitan's back, holding a book.

"Is it all here?"

"Yes, yes," the old captain answered, "It's all here. 20 yards of gold cloth. 18 gold chalices-"

"Boy that guy acts like he owns this ship!" Huey complained.

"If only you knew," Wallace answered.

After El Capitan had finished going through the inventory, Michael pushed him into the boat.

"We warned you."

"No one walks out of a deal with the Anas brothers."

"Deal? What deal?" Scrooge asked.

"It was we who told El Capitan that you had the model ship."

"In return for sharing the gold."

"You knew about the ship? How?"

"Please, Scrooge."

"It's not that hard finding out what you own."

"But how did you even know that it led to treasure?"

"That's for us to know."

"And you to never know!"

"Soon, with this treasure, we shall become the richest ducks in the world!"

"WHAT?" Glomgold exclaimed.

"You two? The richest ducks in the world? Not if I can help it! Besides even with the gold you have here, it'll never top my own money!"

"That's because you don't know the true wealth of this treasure!" Wallace told him.

"True wealth?" Scrooge asked.

"AHEM!"

Michael nudged his brother.

"Ahem," Wallace coughed, "Never mind."

The life boat was lowered.

"No!" Glomgold complained, "There are only ten minutes left, and neither of us have the treasure! How am I supposed to win the bet now?"

"Glomgold, we have bigger problems than our bet right now!"

"Oh, you want to win your bet? Here!"

Wallace flipped a coin down to the boat.

"One coin for you two to fight over. AHAHAHAHAHA!"

"You fool! What have you done?" Michael exclaimed.

"It's just one coin, brother."

"You know just how important just one of those coins are!"

"Brother, ix nay bout the oins xay."

"Oh sure, like that hasn't given it away!"

"Oh and you making a fuss about them haven't!"

"Shut up, Wally!"

"No, you shut up!"

"You shut up more!"

"You shut up-"

While they argued, El Capitan shimmied up the rope attaching the lifeboat to the ship.

"You shut up infinity!"

"You shut up infinity plus one!"

"That doesn't make any sense!"

"No!"

The brothers broke out of their conversation as they saw El Capitan swinging on the rope.

"I will not depart from my gold again!"

"Now now, El Capitan!" Wallace held up his gun, "You stay right there! WA!"

Leaping from the rope, El Capitan landed on the duck, whose gun accidentally hit one of the ropes attached to the lifeboat, tearing it. Meanwhile Glomgold and Scrooge fought over the coin, swinging the boat, with the former winning by playing dirty.

"Aha!"

Standing up, he showed off the coin.

"Looks like I win the bet after all, Scroogy! Ahahahaha! AHAHAHAH! AHAHAHA-"

The torn rope snapped.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

Losing his balance, Glomgold fell out and into the water below.

On the ship, El Capitan wrestled with Wallace. Michael tried to shoot at him.

"Hold your fire, you fool!" Wallace shouted, "You might hit me!"

Michael wrestled El Capitan to free his brother.

"It's two against one, El Capitan!"

"You can't beat both of us!"

"No!"

El Capitan readied a canon.

"I will not be departed from my gold again!"

"ARE YOU CRAZY?"

"Stop the canon!" Wallace point his gun at El Capitan, but he refused.

The brothers tried to push the canon in the other direction, but only enough time for the canon to be fired up in the air. All watched it as it fell back down through the floor, sinking the ship.

Scrooge and co., whose boat had already been released, watch the ship sink.

"We'd better pick up any survivors."

After saving Glomgold, they rowed through the wreckage.

"Hey, where did they go?" One of the nephews asked.

"They're gone!" Glomgold declared.

"Gee, I wonder who the old guy was," Louie wondered.

"Well, will you look at that," Glomgold checked his watch, "It looks like I have won the bet, Scroogie!"

"Are you sure about that, Flinty?"

"What do you mean, I have the one piece of – wait, where is it?"

Glomgold checked himself for the coin.

"Dropped this?"

Scrooge showed him the coin.

"Thanks."

Glomgold's eyes went wide.

"Oh no!"

Scrooge chuckled. He examined the coin.

"Hmm. I wonder why the Anas brothers made such a big deal about this coin. I'm gonna have to get a specialist to check it out."

As they rowed away, a submarine periscope emerged from the water, watching them.

"It's a good thing we summoned a submarine in case things went south," Michael remarked.

"Yes. Very south," Wallace agreed.

The two watched as the treasure sank to the bottom of the sea.

"NO! OUR GOLD!"

They fell to their knees.

"Wait, you still have some of the coins, right? Aside from the one you gave away?"

"Of course I do."

"So do I."

They both took out the coins they collected.

"Then we have only lost the battle, but not the war."

They watched Scrooge and co.'s boat continued to row away.

"It won't be a matter of time before Scrooge discovers the true wealth of one of those coins, because a certain someone gave it to him."

"Well he probably wouldn't have found it out if you hadn't made such a big deal out of it!"

"It doesn't matter who's to blame."

"No. It doesn't."

"We still have a head start, before Scrooge learns that that treasure was slim pickings compared to what these will lead to."

The brothers held up their coins.
