The next day came along and as everything was well. During the Friday night, Eda let Luz sleep in her bed as she figured as she apologized to Luz for everything she apologized to her for, she figured Luz could feel safe and comfortable by sleeping in the bed with Eda for the night as she figured it was one way to let Luz know she really was sorry for everything she apologized to her for and she'd do her best to keep the said promise to her. They slept peacefully that night.

After that night was over, Eda made sure that she apologized to Luz once more to let her know she really meant it when she told her how sorry she is for everything she apologized to her for, Eda even apologized to Luz for making her feel afraid of being rejected by her when Luz told her about the illusion like giant of Eda that Luz tried to face a possible fear of Eda and Eda told Luz that she's not inadequate and that she shouldn't have been gazing at how good she looked seeing double of herself and that she should've comforted Luz during that, made sure no one hurt her and made sure no one lead her into danger and Eda told Luz she'd never hurt Luz again and never put Luz in danger ever again and Eda let Luz know she'll keep that said promise she told her about. Yet Luz reassured her she is forgiven and she accepted her apology and knew that Eda truly meant her words, her apology and her promise to Luz since she apologized to her two or three more times which made Eda and Luz feel better for knowing that. Eda still wanted to keep that said promise to Luz and Maxwell.

It was still the weekend and as it was Saturday, both Eda, King, Luz and Maxwell were out and about taking care of things. The flowers that they gathered when they faced Warden Wrath and defeated the warden, those flowers did help with the potions they were selling as it made the potions and the affects of them stronger and better for use. They made more money that way as they also had to use the bathroom somewhere afterwards.

"You okay Luz? I know that last errand had involved a horrible smell and you almost passed out from it. Which we all probably should've worn gas masks." said Eda showing concern.

"You at least made sure I was alright by having me smell something sweet and sat down with me so I could wait for the dizziness to disappear." said Luz reassuring her.

"Kind of makes me wonder where that smell came from? I almost threw up." said King sympathizing with them.

They heard the sound of a door opening and closing when they saw Maxwell walk out of a port-a-john and Maxwell looked like he was feeling better.

"I'll tell you what that bad smell was not. It wasn't someone who had spicy Italian and farted later on." said Maxwell chiming in.

"Maxie, were you listening in?" giggled King.

Maxwell blushed.

"Yes, and I'm sorry." replied Maxwell. "The walls to that bathroom are not sound proof."

"True." they said in unison.

"Excuse me, young man." came a lady's voice.

They turned to see what looked like a short hooded figure who wore a silver cloak and a hood over it's head. The voice coming from the figure was female. The female hooded figure was looking to be three or four feet tall. She carried a bag with her on her back that was strapped to her back.

"Ma'am." said Maxwell greeting her.

"Young man, I'm going around and letting people try out some fresh produce that a local market is going to open up a shop in. Me and the other workers are going around and letting others try them out. We'll be opening in two weeks. Maybe you'd like to try some." the lady suggested.

Maxwell felt a gurgling feeling in his stomach and he let out a burp. He blushed and cleared his throat.

"I appreciate the offer, ma'am. But I'm going to have to decline. I think I had enough to eat for now." Maxwell kindly declined.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"I am and are you needing assistance?" asked Maxwell.

"I'm doing alright, but I appreciate the offer." said the lady.

The lady walked off as she looked like she skipped her way down the opposite direction and they saw her disappear after some people walked by. Eda, King and Luz looked back at Maxwell.

"Maxie, have you seen that lady before?" asked Luz.

"No. Yet why do I feel like I've seen someone short as her before? I know she's no leprechaun or elf. They don't wear hoods." stated Maxwell.

"You've seen an elf and leprechaun before and you already know they don't wear hoods?" said Eda looking curious.

"I'll admit, being in this world, I quickly learned that they don't wear hoods. Leprechauns usually wear green and nice shoes, elves never wear hoods. That lady was no elf or leprechaun. But she's probably doing like she said." explained Maxwell. "I've seen what they look like here and I picked up on that."

They understood when Maxwell explained how he knew that elves and leprechauns don't wear hoods and they wore different attire than that hooded lady they crossed paths with.

"Also, not to sound rude or anything but I got some strange vibes coming from that lady." said Maxwell kindly.

"Strange vibes?" said King looking curious.

"You guys know I have respect for all women and all but I don't know why that lady had a hood over her head." said Maxwell looking alert. "Kind of like some of the guards from the Emperor's coven."

They remembered that a lot of the guards that work for the Emperor and his coven wore masks and hoods and that the last time that a lady approached Maxwell from out of the blue was a murderous rival of Eda that blamed Eda for her boyfriend troubles, that blue haired woman that blamed Eda for something that Eda wasn't guilty of. They remembered that lady kidnapped Maxwell and tortured him till he cried and they defeated that blue haired woman together. Luz got up and pulled Maxwell in for a hug as if to comfort him of any fear brought on by bad memories.

"Maxie, it's alright. No one will hurt you with us around. You've always made sure no one hurt us and we'll never let anyone hurt you." said Luz reassuring him.

Maxwell felt some soothing comfort from Luz's hugging him and he felt a little better.

"Besides, what harm can someone shorter than us do." said Luz.

"They can still use magic to defend themselves." answered King. "Or kick someone in the shin or kick a man in his crotch. Kind of like how Maxie kicked Bump in his crotch."

Hearing that made Eda burst out laughing for a bit and she snorted.

"Ha! That's funny. Maxie kicked Bump in the crotch and down he does." laughed Eda.

"I only did that because I was angry." said Maxwell surprised that he wasn't in trouble for that.

"At least he didn't give you detention." said Luz.

"Would that be saying in a room and not doing anything at all for hours?" asked Maxwell.

Eda, Luz and King went silent and knew that Maxwell didn't know what detention at Hexside used to be like and that it got changed later on.

"Maxie, lets just say that detention used to be something a bit worse at Hexside but it got changed sometime after I got enrolled there." warned Luz.

Maxwell looked curious. He knew that things at the schools on the Boiling Isles were different from the schools back in the human realm but he never got to find out just how different all of it was.

"How much worse was it?" asked Maxwell nervously.

"Listen Maxie, you're better off not knowing. But what I can say is that after I got Luz enrolled at Hexside, both her, Gus and a student they didn't get along with were in detention for a little bit because this one student was not nice, so Luz, Gus and this student who was not nice were in there for a bit, but they escaped, and detention the old way was out of order. Afterwards, now detention is where the kids sit in a room and not use magic all day in there. At least from what Luz told me about what detention is like now when she went through her first day there which you already know how Luz's first day at Hexside was like." explained Eda. "But that student that got the three of them in detention, you can say this student got karma. But I did make sure later on that day I comforted Luz about how scared she felt when she found out how detention used to be like, which I did give Principle Dorkus a talking to about that later on as I didn't want Luz or her friends to go through detention the old way ever again which he had no choice to agree because the old way of detention is no longer how they do detention."

Maxwell did seem like he wanted to know but after hearing everything Eda told him. Hearing that she comforted Luz later on after the events of getting Luz enrolled made him feel a sense of comfort but also figured that after everything else Eda told him, he figured it was for the best that he didn't know what detention used to be like at Hexside.

"I'll take your word for it." said Maxwell understanding. "At least things right now are not worse."

"What would be worse is if your dad really was somewhere at the Boiling Isles." King blurted out wordlessly.

"What, wait?" said Maxwell alarmed.

They saw that mentioned Maxwell's dad actually being at the Boiling Isles for real was probably something they shouldn't have mentioned, or at least King quickly knew that he shouldn't have said that as they saw the look of panic on Maxwell's face.

"Oops." said King regretting ever saying that. "Maxie, I was joking but I shouldn't have joked about it."

"Forgive me but please don't ever joke about that." said Maxwell looking afraid.

"Maxie, King was only joking. Besides, since there's a high possibility your dad doesn't know magic like we do, there's no way he'd ever find his way here." said Eda trying to calm him.

"I'm sorry I joked about it." said King apologetically.

"Now that you're with us. Your dad can't hurt you no more." said Luz reassuring him.

Luz gently patted Maxwell's back and kissed him on his cheek which seemed to work in calming him of his panic. They knew that even though the Grom demon only simulated that fear or anyone's fear and that the Grom demon is forever dead. They knew that if Maxwell's dad was really somewhere at the Boiling Isles, they knew he would possibly have a panic attack or worse. Same would go for anyone if it was their worst fear. Eda and King didn't want Luz and Maxwell to go through their worst fear ever again after both Eda, King, Willow, Gus, Amity, Edric and Emira apologized to both Luz and Maxwell for everything they apologized to them about after the events of Grom and from how Maxwell had a talk with Eda, King, Willow, Gus, Amity, Edric and Emira about how he felt about Luz and her feelings when she went through it and had them realize they should apologize to Luz and make a promise to her.

"Maxie, it's going to be alright. Your dad probably can't even find his way here." said Luz with a word of comfort.

"Regardless of the situation, all three of you are under my protection and no one is going to hurt any of you nor will you be placed in danger. I'm not going to let anyone do that to any of you." said Eda reassuring them.

Even though King and Luz felt better to know that from Eda. Maxwell started to feel better knowing this too. He felt his panic disappearing.

"Okay. Thanks for telling me that guys." said Maxwell starting to feel calm.

"It's probably a good idea I don't joke about what I made a joke about." King advised.

"Agreed." they all said in unison.

As they all got up, they walked off in a different direction as they were headed to where they're going next.

"We got one more stop to go to before we head home. Don't worry, everything will fine." said Eda reassuring them.

They understood as they kept going. At that moment, Eda and King felt worried about Luz and Maxwell as they had that feeling like loving parents have towards their kids. That feeling that they could sense that had them feeling like they knew something could happen or that something was bothering the two humans they care about.

Meanwhile, somewhere around the area from a distance. The short, hooded lady was chatting with Lilith. Lilith looked annoyed with what the short woman was telling her.

"Are you sure this idea will work?" said Lilith annoyed.

"What I'm doing is going to be like planting sadness in his head and his heart. So he's easier to manipulate. It's better than your idea." said the hooded female. "Ambushing him and taking him directly to the conformatorium to do what you suggested, they'll be expecting that. Besides, Warden Wrath tried something like that and it failed because a human was helping Eda. Warden Wrath tried going after them twice and failed, he got overpowered, blasted into the air, and the second time he got beaten down. Do you really want to argue whose idea is better?"

Lilith groaned in annoyance with how she was losing an argument with this short hooded lady.

"What's next, Kikimora?" asked Lilith.

The short hooded lady began to explain her plans to Lilith and what she said left Lilith ether annoyed or visibly surprised.
