Previously on Chapter 1….
Meanwhile, in the castle of Beaufort, a loud cry was disturbed at the palace in the middle of the evening. Finally, the prince of Beaufort was awake as he had been asleep for three months.

Three Months Ago…
Green cat-liked eyes were opened in the darkness, blinking rapidly, and then it yawned, showing up its two white incisors prominently and the inside of its purple mouth while the little creature was busy stretching out of its body and paws.
"About time~ My vessel is finally born, and I am hungry." He complained to himself, and he decided to sit down while swishing his black tail lazily. The creature was not an ordinary cat because cats were not 10 inches tall nor can talk at all. He's the god of destruction, Plagg, one of the founders that created the world of Aoife.
"Maybe I should find my vessel or find something to eat? But first..." He paused while he floated himself up, looking around while he was curious where he was. He realized that he was in the narrow isolated alley, where there were two stone buildings 2 meters apart of his sides, and his cat ears twitched, hearing the bustling life of the city thanks to his sensitive hearing, which he ignored the noises. He saw many people passing him by in front of him.
Fortunately, people won't see him easily since only his vessel, Tikki's vessel, and his fellow Kwamis, could see him while he was in a dark wispy form with his small black cat image being intact. Well, he could will himself to be spotted, but it will take a lot of energy to materialized himself. Right now, he decided to eat first then find where his vessel is.
"Well, filling up my stomach is my priority, and then I'll find my vessel next~," He said dreamily, thinking about those lovely and delicious cheese while he drooled. After all, it's been centuries since he eats one. Plus, he has a lot of time within his paw, and he knew his vessel was a small baby right now, so he can't talk or even walk yet.
After making his decision, he was off in random and unfamiliar places, not knowing the troubles that he will bring up with towards the citizens of Beaufort.

Inside the castle, Gabriel Agreste de Beaufort, or the King of Beaufort, was not having a great day today, even though it should be a happy occasion because he will be entering parenthood soon together with his wife.
Today, he has many troubles or worries that were rampaging inside his head, and he was not pacing back and forward anxiously and nervously outside his double wooden door, where his room lies ahead. His eyebrows were furrowed, and his hands were behind his back while he thought about his dear beloved wife, or his beloved Queen, Emilie Agreste de Vanily, who was currently in labor inside their room.
One Kwami, with 10 centimeters tall that has a small purple body, butterfly wings with a long tail that reached the bottom of each of his lower wings, and a dark spiral on his forehead in each lower part of his wings, named Nooro, was sitting on top of the King's left shoulder while his purple eyes were looking at his master worriedly. He could feel his master's distress hovering around him.
"Master, you should calm down. It will be okay. Lady Emilie is a strong woman." He comforted him. On cue, a loud painful scream could be heard inside the room. Gabriel jumped slightly in surprise after hearing her scream while he stopped pacing because of the distraction, looking at the door in concern, and Nooro's comfort failed because of that scream. The small deity winced and felt sympathy towards his master.
Gabriel wanted to bolt inside their room right now, comforting his wife while watching the process of their child's birth, but he can't because Emily knew her husband very well. She knew that he will be distressed, fretting over her while shouting orders towards the doctor to lessen the Queen's pain, even though his order was nonsensible and the feeling of labor was painful and inevitable to her, but it will be worth it in the end so that they could see their offspring and give their child with love and care, so she sent him away to wait outside the room for his sake until her labor end. Like what Duusu, the Kwami of the Peacock, described to Gabriel, "He is a total whipped for Emilie," because he won't say no to his wife sometimes.
The King heard loud and quick footsteps echoing through the long hallway behind his back, indicating that someone was running. He thought that maybe there's an urgent message towards him, and he felt a sudden annoyance dwelling inside of him. They do know that his wife was in the middle of labor, right? He did order them earlier not to disturb him unless there's troubles in his kingdom or an important message to report. Even though his face was expressionless, people that were close to him knew that he was annoyed by seeing the corner of his eye twitched slightly in irritation.
When Gabriel turned around and face one of the castle's knights, he saw him saluting towards his king, placing his clenched fist on the left side of his metallic armor while standing straight.
"Your majesty, I have an urgent report." Informed the young knight. He was not wearing his helmet since he wasn't on the battlefield, but he has his sword sheathed beside his hips, and there's a leather belt attached on his hipbones with a scabbard where his sword lies.
The King nodded in acknowledgment, hinting that he has his permission to report the message to him.
"There's an odd incident happening in the city, castle, and major damage of the drawbridge outside of the castle. Some of the citizens complain that there's a lot of missing cheese happening around their shops, hearing strange voices inside the castle walls and in the city too, and there's an explosion of the drawbridge earlier, but there are no signs of enemies and nobody is hurt." The brown-haired young knight reported professionally. Now, the king was having a headache. He furrowed his eyebrows while he removed his glasses, and his fingers were busy rubbing the bridge of his nose.
'Why is this happening? Why now of all time?' The young king thought while sighing deeply through his nose in frustration while he wore his glasses.
Meanwhile, with Nooro, he was in deep thought after hearing the strange reports, and then a realization struck him.
"Master, may I have your permission to let me roam around the castle? I think I know who causes those problems." Nooro replied. Since the King did not want the knight to think of him for being crazy talking to himself, he dismissed him after he ordered him to fix the drawbridge with the other knights and told Natalie, his royal adviser, about the situation. The knight nodded, and then he left. After seeing him left, he glanced at Nooro curiously.
"Who is it, Nooro? Is it one of your own?" He inquired calmly, and he was just guessing it. He didn't know that he was right in his prediction. The Kwami of the Butterfly frown, hesitating to answer him.
"I think so. That's why I want to investigate it to find it by myself. But…" He paused while his purple eyes locked against sky blue ones.
"There's a big chance that your son is the new vessel of the god of destruction." He said confidently, as he no longer falters. He knew that it was a son because every birth of the black cat Kwami's vessel; it's always a boy while the vessel of creation was the opposite gender. Additionally, the missing cheese was already a big clue about that. No offense to Plagg, he wondered why he loves that stinky cheese so much. Of course, he won't say that to him directly because that sounds very rude.
Now, Gabriel felt worried. He was happy that they were having a son, the next heir to the throne, but there will be a lot of conflicts if the Holy Kingdom of Creation and Destruction finds out about him. There's a possibility that it might bring out war between two kingdoms because he knew how power-hungry they are. After all, he did not want to lose his son while he fights back, and he did not want him to be manipulated by the likes of them and used him for his powers. He needs to think about the next course of action to keep his son safe.
Nooro knew that his master has a lot of burden being a King, and being a father soon was adding to his lists of problems since he knew him for half of his mortal life. Currently, he knew that he was thinking of keeping his son safe. After all, his master was a loving family guy, considering that he loves his wife, and he caught him with loving gazes towards Emilie's baby bump in their private time together inside their room. There will be a lot of troubles coming up in their way, and he hoped and wished the Agreste royal family's happiness and a lot of good luck to survive.
"My son is very special, right?" He said softly and rhetorically, glancing towards the room where his wife was with the doctor and midwives.
"Yes, he is. He has a great destiny lies ahead of him." He answered him certainly, and the purple Kwami didn't know what rhetorical speaking is, but Gabriel didn't correct him as he didn't mind. Nooro noticed that his master's determination deep into his eyes, and he can't help himself but smile fondly.
"Nooro, you have my permission to look after that troublesome Kwami. Tell him that don't cause any more problems in my Kingdom, and let him lead towards my son after his birth." He ordered him.
"Yes, master." He replied submissively, and then the tip of his tails twitched in a warning.
"Ah, it seems that he finally arrives inside your room, master." He informed him.
"Please, wait a second." Nooro quickly levitated himself, and then he flew towards the double door by phasing through it while he did not wait for his master's reply. After all, he still has orders to fulfill.
When he was inside the room, his purple eyes glanced towards Emilie, which she was still in labor with painful loud moans as the mid-wives helped her, and the doctor was doing her job while she gave words of encouragement towards the Queen. Nooro got distracted after hearing a familiar loud whining and cheerful chattering nearby.
His amethyst orbs peaked towards them, and he felt distressed after seeing Duusu, the Kwami of a Peacock, was chasing after Plagg enthusiastically in a circle while the black cat Kwami felt annoyed. They were subconsciously bothering Emilie through hearing Duusu's cheerful noises, and the two Kwamis kept phasing through the mid-wives and the doctor's bodies while they were confused why they kept shivering, but they continued to do their job professionally.
"Stop chasing me!"
"Ahahahah! No way! It's been centuries since we play tag!"
"For a thousand times, I don't want to play tag with you!"
"Come on! I will not stop unless you're it."
"Duusu, Plagg, Stop! Lady Emilie is still giving birth!" Nooro quickly flew between them, glaring at them. Plagg and Duusu stopped their chasing game. Duusu, a deep blue Kwami that has the same size as them with small pale crimson eyes and dark blue sclerae, a small pale crimson circle on his forehead, and five peacock's feather tail, felt very disappointed that their playtime was interrupted while Plagg didn't look guilty. Instead, he was nonplused about the situation while looking at Nooro.
"Nooro! Thank the cheese that you stop him!" He sighed in relief. After all, Plagg didn't have a mood to play with him. Nooro's eyes quickly looked at Plagg in disappointment.
"Speaking of cheese, are you the one that steals and eats a lot of cheese in the city-" Nooro got interrupted when Plagg went to defensive mode while answering him sheepishly.
"Hey! I did not steal the cheese. I just saw it laying on the table, which I thought of being a waste so I eat it." Plus, stealing cheese was not his style, and he didn't decline that he eats the cheese earlier, though.
"Destroy the drawbridge," The purple Kwami continued.
"Destroying the drawbridge is an accident! I mean, I just wanted to sharpen my claws, and the drawbridge looks like a nice scratching post. Since it's been centuries, my power accidentally activated and blew the poor bridge away." He didn't look guilty or sorry after saying that.
"And playing pranks towards the citizens when they heard voices?" Nooro finished. He truly missed Tikki, and he could feel her pain when she was with her counterpart. He wished that she was here so that she could keep a good eye on him.
"Well…I don't even have a choice when it comes to the last one. I can't just materialize myself and asks directions directly where the castle is. They will freak out and cause more chaos, even though I want to see that." He muttered out with the last part of his sentence. Nevertheless, Duusu and Nooro heard him in the end.
"Although, seeing them panicking with frightful expressions look very amusing to me when they thought it's a ghost." He smirked in amusement, and his tone was smug after saying that. He was proud of what he had done so far.
Nooro can't help himself but face-palmed, and Duusu seemed to enjoy Plagg's tale. The three Kwamis got interrupted with their musing after hearing the baby's loud cry. Plagg's green eyes widened in surprise.
"Oh crap!" His tone was panic as he quickly flew towards his vessel. Unfortunately, after the baby's first cry, the window panes quickly destroyed while the occupied room screamed in panic. The doctor was still holding the crying infant after cutting the umbilical cord, protecting him by covering her arms. Emilie whimpered softly and tiredly, and she kept repeating 'my baby' while she was worried about her child other than herself.
Plagg glowed softly, using his power when he touched the young prince's head to put him into a deep slumber until the newborn baby calmed down. It was hectic whenever his vessel was born like this. Because after the birth of his vessel, his magic was out of control, and he's the most vulnerable when he was in that state.
After he used his power, he glared at the sleeping child half-heartedly.
"You owe me a lot of cheese in the future, kid." He replied fondly. Seconds later, the door burst opened, and the King arrived in concern together with the knights.

Several hours passed by after the fiasco and everything finally calmed down, the King and the Queen's room was already cleaned up after the mess earlier, and they used planks of wood to cover up the broken windows temporarily with drapes. They decided to fix the windows for a few days after the craftsman finished making those glass windows in time to replace the woods.
Emilie was carrying the slumbering prince within her arms. She was tired, yet, she didn't want to take her eyes away from her son when she thought about the strange incidents that were happening around him earlier. She was shocked that her son was the new vessel of the god of destruction after Plagg exposed himself to the royal couple earlier, but she accepted her son's fate, which she felt determined to help him out in his future problems. She knew that half of the world's conditions and being the next heir of his kingdom was rested on that tiny shoulders, and she will teach him everything she knows about the world or what she learns so far. She also knew that she was not alone since her husband will do the same and help their son in his ways.
The Queen looked at her son tenderly, kissing on top of his forehead gently. Her son was a healthy and beautiful boy, and he got his blond hair from her. She wondered what color of his eyes is. Is it blue like hers, or is it light blue like her husband? She didn't know unless her son opens his eyes.
Meanwhile, with Gabriel, he was beside his wife in their shared king-sized crimson canopy bed, looking at their child with love and care. He felt delighted to see him personally, and he wondered when his son was going to wake up because he was still sleeping as several hours passed.
What they did not know, except for the three Kwamis lingering around them worriedly while glancing at each other, that the prince would not wake up until his partner arrived into this world, and they didn't inform them yet until the right time comes.
"What are we going to name him, Emilie?" He broke up the comforting silence when he glanced at his Queen curiously. Her beautiful sapphire eyes looked at her husband with a sweet and tender smile.
"Let's call him Adrien Athanase Agreste de Beaufort. How does that sound?" She answered him curiously, wanting to know her King's reply. She thought of his name a few days ago, and her mind thought that it was a nice ring to it. Gabriel's lips curled up slightly with a soft smile.
"He's perfect." He responded sincerely without complaint, holding her hand tenderly while looking at his son, Adrien.
"He's a total simp for Emilie, don't you think so, Plagg?" Duusu commented honestly. His eyes were watching over the royal family while Plagg snickered in amusement after hearing that, and he agreed with him whilst the two of them broke the royal lover's sappy moments. Well, Duusu was completely oblivious about that, except for Plagg.
In return, both Nooro and Gabriel glared at Duusu and Plagg, irritated that they disturb his master's family time/his peace respectfully, which Emilie noticed them and giggled softly in amusement.
To be continued…

PurpleLilac: Well, about the naming. It's like this…I decided to the 'de Beaufort' and 'de Vanily' is a place or their territory as a party of nobility. With Agreste, it belongs to Gabriel's mother while his father was the Beaufort. With Emilie, she decided to take off her mother's surname of 'Graham,' one of the nobility of a distant land and changed it into Agreste, but it doesn't mean that she didn't like her mother. Emilie loves her mother so much, and she still loves her heritage. She knows her mother would understand her because she was in her position before. Even though she changed her surname because she wanted to be part of her husband's life, her blood is still 'Graham de Vanily.'
The 'Vanily' was still intact because it belongs to her father, and the Vanily territory is within the part of Beaufort territory.
I hope that clears up the naming.
P.S: I dunno why. I thought of Gabriel simping for Emilie a lot lol. I hope I'm not the only one thinking about this. Also, should I make a short story about Plagg's adventure to find his vessel? If you have further questions, please ask :3.
