Hi to everyone who has come to read this now- i know i have updated this after ages & truly please dont have high hopes cause I don't know if its even nicely written or not. I had this idea a long time ago but never got down to writing it until both the shows were over. To tell the truth Spn's finale was what pushed me to atleast put this out because I miss the show so damn much already that I feel we need as many old and incomplete fics updated to just be in touch with Dean & Cas & Sam (in that order for me) I do hope this fic still brings a small smile on some faces :)

Once again, all the mistakes are mine since this has no beta & ofcourse as a disclaimer I own no one and now cannot anymore :(

"I am going to show you my biggest secret."

Never in her weirdest imagination would Amy have thought Sheldon capable of this.

Let's rewind a little bit.

Since they were going to be married in a few days, Amy had told some of her secrets to Sheldon. Somewhere she was kind of expecting him to have some twisted sort of need to repay back the trust with giving away a secret of his own- after all she was a smart girl. And she really wanted to know if Sheldon did have any "weirder" things kept to himself. But she didn't think that she would have to deal with him being so indecisive and insecure about sharing. It hurt, but she knew the best way was to make Sheldon understand how normal it was for couples to know everything about each other. "So, as I was saying that everyone has their secrets – it's not necessary that they want to divulge it. But I do think that if you trust me you shouldn't be feeling this kind of anxiety in disclosing your bit, however weird it maybe." Fingers crossed.

"Trust me, it's not weird. It's closer to an enormous phenomenon that will change your view about the workings of the universe & the concept of life. But again, it is something that goes against my own very views from my childhood & I don't want people to know that I am wrong.

Plus I'm also worried that you may not be able to take it as well as I could. Your brain may just malfunction."

"Why do you think so? If there is something which you can handle & not even create a fuss about regularly, then I'm sure even my brain is capable enough to handle the same without any kind of malfunctioning." Huh. What the hell is he talking about?

"I highly doubt the fact that anyone's brain can be compared to be mine – no offense intended."

"Just tell me already!" Amy could not take this anymore!

"Ok. Ok. You don't need to shout – jeez!"

"As I was earlier saying, the origin of this story is from a time when you and I were not known to each other. That's the reason you would never have seen him."

"Him? You want me to meet somebody? Your secret is a guy? Oh OHH.. I hope it's not that kind of secret. But what else can it be" And her rambling continued – "Shit shit, why else would you keep a guy secret. Maybe you are friends with some mobster? Or a madman? I should have known, I should have known. I don't want to know - I gotta go, I gotta go! "

"Jesus. Calm down woman!"

That prompted Amy to shut up for once.

"And sit down." As she moved towards the couch – "Just not on my spot, or actually beside it even."

"Why? Is that "his" spot?" She didn't know whether she could hold back her tears.

"Yeah, it is. How did you guess that?" Sheldon smiled after a long time. Amy did surprise him sometimes.

And that set it off – Amy started bawling like a baby. Sheldon, her Sheldon- no not her as she found out now, there had been someone else. And Sheldon had kept him a secret, from everyone it seemed. Else Leonard and Penny would have told her about this. They would have, wouldn't they?

"Do the others know about him? Do Penny and Leonard know?" Amy could just bring out that sentence in between her sobs.

Sheldon was perplexed – he didn't understand why Amy was behaving like this. He went up to her and tried to guess the reason for her odd behavior. "Please stop crying with no reason at all, I really can't make out what you are saying."

"Do Leonard and Penny know about this guy? Does anyone else know?" She just had to know whether the others had also cheated on her!

"Hmm.. They do know of him as they have met him once." He sat down beside Amy trying to think, "But I don't think they ever got to know about our relationship."

Even though the mention of a relationship made her cringe, the sentence comforted her a little- that this was something hidden from everyone, then another thought occurred to her.

"Is it still going on? This relationship of yours with this guy?" She couldn't help but her sobs started again.

"Oh God for once please stop crying! I never thought you would be so disheartened to know that I am capable of maintaining my friendship with people outside the group formed by Leonard. If indeed I thought of telling you I had imagined getting a very different reaction than this – maybe shock maybe awe; but I really don't understand why you're reacting in this way. God , humans are really difficult to understand !"

"I agree with you completely on that" came a monotone voice from behind. ;)

"What the hell?!" Amy jumped and his behind Sheldon.

"There is a stranger in the house! There is a stranger in the house! Where the hell did he come from – Sheldon Sheldon! Do something – call the police!" Amy was too shocked by the new man's sudden appearance. She was sure that the door was locked and the man wasn't here two minutes ago!

"Oh. Hello Castiel!" Sheldon turned and greeted his unique friend.

"Hello Sheldon." Castiel remained stiff as a board, just nodding his head in a weird tilted sort of way; which was definitely not cute, no no Amy; and made no effort to move forward in a greeting. "You had called for me." He cast a glance towards Amy in acknowledgment and then it was as if he dismissed her existence altogether.

"And you came. Well, thank you for that" Amy was shocked on hearing Sheldon display these manners! When he turned and saw the look on her face, he just put his hand near his mouth as if whispering & simply said "some times there are exceptions."

"Anyways, Castiel – I would like you to meet Amy. Amy is my fiancé and we are going to get married soon. And Amy; I want you to meet Castiel. He is my secret friend."

Amy took a good look at the man then. He was wearing a trench coat, looked like an accountant except for his wind blown hair and piercing blue eyes. The eyes that she suddenly found looking at her as if reading into her very soul.

Castiel took a pause, but then had put on a slightly friendlier expression on his face and said, "Hello Amy Farrah Fowler. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and don't worry, our is not the kind of friendship that you should be worried about."

Now that got Amy out of her shocked state of silence.

"I never told you my full name & neither did Sheldon " It came out more like a question. How did this man know? Specially about the thoughts she is having.

"I apologize" came the reply "I thought Sheldon must have given my introduction before hand. Anyways, Amy Farrah Fowler" he extended his hand in greeting now "I am Castiel, Angel of the Lord. It is nice to meet you."

"Aww you have learnt some manners!" Sheldon exclaimed fondly -"Good for you"

"What the hell? I really mean What the hell?!"

All this while Castiel was still standing with his extended arm as if nothing was even happening in front of him.

"Come on Amy, don't be so rude. Shake the man's , no sorry, angels hand. Has your mother taught you no better?" Sheldon looked pointedly at her.

"Do you seriously believe this Sheldon? How can you of all people believe someone making such mad claims? I mean I could even understand an alien – you could have someday come across one I am sure – but an Angel of the LORD?" That's it. Maybe Penny was right, and Sheldon is a crackpot!

"Please Amy, while I know many people are not able to understand Sheldon, but you should never doubt him as you are going to be his life partner." Castiel had taken back his arm and was again staring at her intently as if trying to make her feel comfortable but failing at it miserably. And how the hell did he again know what she was thinking about?!

"I know it because as I told you - I am an Angel of the Lord. I can read your mind" And he winked.

And Amy fainted.

"Oh poor Lord. I should have known she wouldn't be able to take things as well as I did." Sheldon and Castiel both peered at her prone form lying in a heap on the floor.

"Yes. I didn't think there was a reason to react this way – and judging by her still elevated heart rate I don't think she will take it too well if she wakes up too. I suggest we should make sure she doesn't remember this incident happening."

"Oh no. She will again start pestering me about what is the biggest secret that I have – that was really irritating. But yes, I guess its best to wipe out her memories about you."

So Castiel crouched down and touched Amy's forehead and instantly the frown on her face smoothened out.

"There, now she is dreaming of you dressed as a Victorina era prince walking down the aisle for her." They both looked at each other and echoed at the same time "Women are weird"

"Also as a suggestion before leaving – why don't you show her your secret basement room and tell what the number 43 is?"
