Everyone was going towards Principle Bump's office. Both Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Eda, King, Skara, Cat, Amelia, Boscha, Maxwell and the other kids who were witnesses.
But first, they were having to take Maxwell to the nurse's office so the nurse could nurse Maxwell's wounds. Cat managed to help the nurse in healing poor Maxwell of his wounds with how they patched him up, she helped the nurse to take some of the weight off her back. Luz, Eda and King were there to help comfort him when he would shed a few tears.
While being in Principle Bump's office. Maxwell told his side of the story to Luz and she told her friends about it. They would have both Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Skara, Cat, Amelia, the other kids who were witnesses, Eda and King telling Principle Bump what they saw Boscha has said and done to Maxwell and his friends through out the whole day. They were individually testifying against Boscha. They even had the teachers that didn't help Maxwell and his friends during the entire ordeal.
As each one of the witnesses were saying what they saw Boscha say and do to Maxwell and his friends, each one of them being individually interviewed. While one was being interview one at a time, those waiting outside the office were waiting for the next witness to go in and testify.
"Luz, me, Cat and Amelia are really sorry for both those times when Boscha was bullying you, Willow, Gus and Amity the first time, and the second time." said Skara apologetically.
"We're sorry for even what Boscha did to Maxwell." said Cat showing remorse.
"We should've stopped Boscha the second she was bullying you, Maxwell and your friends, or at least told the teachers to do something." said Amelia chiming in. "That, and in the past, when ever Boscha bullied you or your friends, we should've said or did something back than about Boscha and anyone like her as well."
"We really mean it when we're apologizing. We actually confessed to Principle Bump for anything we've said or did during the time when Boscha bullied you and your friends twice, and even during the time when she bullied Maxwell. We actually know we don't deserve to be given any mercy, we don't deserve to be popular or to be in the life or status we have. We know we don't deserve anything good from it after what happened both times." said Skara showing guilt.
"Luz, even though you were trying to help me and Gus when she was picking you, me, and Gus during the first incident. Me and Gus know you didn't mean to push us too hard, you were only trying to help us so we could stand up to Boscha and stop her from bullying you, me and Gus. We're sorry that we walked off on you when we got too overwhelmed. We know you were only trying to help us and I'm sorry I dragged you, Amity and Gus into the situation." said Willow apologizing to Luz.
"I also like to apologize for the same thing as well, Luz. I'll admit, those flags I use, well, I'll admit, I may only use them for cheering my team on, kind of like pompoms for cheerleaders, yet I'll admit boys can't handle being cheerleaders, just like how they say boys can't handle being a girl and going through what they go through. We wouldn't be able to handle it. But my point is, I know I shouldn't have made such a big deal about my flags, if anything is to be damaged, better the flags than it be you, me or Willow. So I too am sorry for the same. I know you didn't mean to push us too hard, you just wanted to help us stand up to Boscha." said Gus apologizing to Luz.
"Luz, I too want to apologize. During the event when Boscha was picking on you, Willow and Gus the first time this happened. I'm sorry I wasn't much help in the beginning. You could say I was caught up in how kind you were to me from the events of Grom and how understanding you were towards me. You could say I was touched by the events and I was sort of caught up in how sweet you've been because...well...because it surprised me...in a good way. Yet I'm also still sorry for what I apologized during both the Grom events. But being emotionally caught up in how kind you've been and being afraid to play grudgby against Boscha, Amelia, Cat and Skara just because I regretted a mistake I made before I met you, I should've cleared my head so I could focus on helping you during the first bullying incident that Boscha caused for you and your friends and I should've let go of my fear and worry of my past mistake when I quit grudgby for good. I should've helped you and your friends the second you and your friends went through that. I know I helped you, Willow, Gus and Maxwell a bit more during this time to help Maxwell, but forgive me as it wasn't because I cared more about him than you or anyone else, I care about you, Maxwell and your friends equally the same. The first time, I should've cleared my head and let go of my past mistakes so I'd be of more help to you and your friends during the first time." said Amity apologizing to Luz.
"I hope you can forgive me." said Skara to Luz.
"And me." said Cat.
"Me too." said Amelia.
"Us too." said Willow and Gus in unison.
"And I hope you can forgive me too." said Amity.
Luz felt touched by this act of remorse they shown towards her and her friends from both times when Boscha was bullying Luz and her friends. She shown a smile.
"I can forgive you guys. I also hope Willow and Gus can forgive me for pushing them too hard because I just wanted to get Boscha off their backs." said Luz kindly forgiving them.
"Well, what you did helped, also, Amity did come to get us to help you out later on in the first incident when you were about to face Boscha alone on our behalf. But still, me and Gus are sorry for what we have said and done when we walked off and we're sorry for the fact you almost got hurt." said Willow.
Amity blushed at the mentioning of her from Willow. Luz placed an arm around Amity to pull her in for a hug, causing Amity to look nervous at first, but she calmed herself as she too hugged Luz in a one armed hug. Amity grinned from how lovable and forgiving Luz is.
"Thanks for doing what you did for me, Amity." said Luz.
"You can say you and Maxwell have grown on me." said Amity.
"Speaking of which, where's Maxwell?" asked Skara curiously.
They all were showing a surprised expression on their faces.
"He's still in the nurse's office, the nurse is checking his wounds once more." came Eda's voice.
"I hope Maxwell's alright. Boscha took his lunch from him and she used fire magic to destroy it. He probably hadn't eaten anything since breakfast." said Amelia worried.
"His stomach growled loud enough for people to hear from a distance. I don't mean that as an insult, I was just surprised it was that loud. But I did give him a few blood apples, they were bigger than his fist, no joke." said Cat.
"I gave him a few bottles of water. Not trying to joke or anything but he chugged them down fast. I was worried he'd choke." said Skara.
"You should see him chug down a jug of water." said Luz.
They all blushed in surprise. Eda, Luz, King and Hooty knew he was able to chug a big jug of water but their friends didn't know about that.
"He really chugged a gallon jug of water before?" said Gus.
"No joke there." said King showing he wasn't joking.
"I do hope my man is alright." said Eda hopefully.
They heard foot steps coming and when they all turned to see who was coming, what they saw was someone but they didn't expect to see him this way. It was Maxwell, and he appeared to look like he came out of a military medical facility from the way he looked. He had small band-aids on him, he had three small ones on his right cheek, two of them on his left cheek, one of them was on the bridge of his nose, there was one above his right eye brow and the black eye he had looked like the swelling had gone down but the color of it was still there. It looked like the nurse and Cat managed to clean his face the best they could to clean off the blood. They all saw him and he was looking stoic with a cold expression on his face. He wasn't wearing a shirt as he had bruises on parts of his upper body and red marks on his face. They saw his muscular body and the old scars that were inflicted on him by his father.
"Oh, my, lord!" they all said in shocked unison.
"Maxie, did Boscha really hurt you that much?" said Eda with a wide eyed face.
Maxwell let out a soft, animalistic, reptilian like growl that had everyone knowing he was feeling one emotion. It was anger.
"Where's Principle Bump? Is he in his office?" said Maxwell cracking his knuckles loudly.
"He looks really mad." said King looking surprised.
"Maxie, both Principle Brain Dead and the teachers and that air head Boscha is in there." answered Eda.
"Good. Because they better believe in the good lord, they're going to need him when I'm done with them." said Maxwell looking serious. "Did you all tell them everything you saw Boscha say and do in both incidents?"
"Yes we did." said Amity.
"Than in the name of God, forgive us and forgive me for what I'm about to do." said Maxwell.
As Maxwell walked inside of Principle Bump's office, Eda, King, Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Skara, Cat, Amelia and the rest of the kids that witnessed what happened all followed, they were all in the office. As they were inside Principle Bump's office, so was the teachers and Boscha. They all shot a disapproving look to Principle Bump, the teachers and Boscha, but they saw Maxwell shot the guilty party an enraged look that left them briefly shaking a bit.
"Principle Hieronymus B. Bump. Stand up." Maxwell instructed.
"Now I know your mad but." Principle Bump started.
"SHUT UP AND STAND UP!" shouted Maxwell.
Without hesitation, Principle Bump got up and stood on his feet. The teachers were surprised to see that a kid was actually able to get Principle Bump to obey him. The teachers were thinking that was kind of cool yet they knew they too were in trouble as they too were there to hear the bullied victims and the witnesses testifying against Boscha.
"Right now, I'm the judge, the jury and the executioner. Bump, you and the teachers will speak when I give you permission to, when I'm talking, you listen. You got that?" said Maxwell sternly.
"Yes sir!" said the teacher and the principle.
"I'm going to enjoy this." whispered Eda with a grin.
Maxwell walked over and stood in front of the teachers and Principle Bump. They could tell Maxwell wasn't happy.
"Gentlemen, Boscha has caused this incident twice. The first time, you were aware of her bullying but you let it slide because she's the captain of the grudgby team, she has brutally bullied Willow Park, Gus Porter, Luz Noceda and Amity Blight. You did nothing to help the victims when they needed you to help them and make Boscha stop while they were at the mercy of Boscha's barbaric bullying, than they tried to beat her in a grudgby match to stop her, even though Boscha and her team won, both Skara, Cat and Amelia shown remorse for Boscha's bullying by hugging and apologizing to the four I've mentioned by name, and it burned Boscha's bubble gum, cotton candy ass." Maxwell told them as he was talking like a lawyer or a judge in the courtroom.
"Hey! I heard that." complained Boscha.
Maxwell shot Boscha a strict and cold look.
"Shut your mouth, Boscha! One more word out of you, young lady, so help me, you will know the wrath of the lord by my hand and I will show no mercy. So unless you want to be in a deeper hole of trouble, stop flapping your spoiled, bratty mouth and shut the fuck up!" Maxwell warned sharply.
Boscha was wide eyed by what Maxwell just told her. He was warning her, showing no fear, cursed her out and was actively insulting her about her behavior. This caused her to close her mouth and obey. He turned his attention back to the teachers and the principle.
"Now, during the first incident, Boscha could've killed someone, and you Principle Bump, you said and I quote: What's this? Boscha got away with murder? I can't say I approve, but at least she's trying new things. When both Luz, Willow and Gus needed you to stop Boscha, but you turned a blind eye. The history of magic teacher, when Luz told him that Boscha was picking on them while Boscha lied about her actions, he said and I quote: Boscha, how could you throw things at them when you could throw things at me? Am I over here? Or am I over here? Anything for the captain of the Banshees!" Maxwell went on. "Four students that day could've been hurt or worse, but it all could've been avoided if you did something about her. How does anyone sleep at night knowing that they let that happen? That's a rhetorical question."
Both Principle Bump and the history of magic teacher both looked guilty when Maxwell told them what their statements were when they said them. They were expecting the worst to be coming soon.
"Now the incident happened again, this time, she did this to not just Luz, Willow, Gus and Amity, but she also did this to me. I'm not wearing a shirt because I want you to see the damage Boscha has inflicted on me. She called me prejudice slangs that are offensive as racism, she beat me up, used me as target practice and even when Luz and her friends tried to get Principle Bump to do something about it, you told her you were too busy, yet she gave you a reason to do something, but you didn't do anything to stop her because you were busy with something, even though you were going to reconsider." Maxwell continued.
"But I was." Principle Bump began.
"What did I just say?" said Maxwell sharply.
Principle Bump was feeling intimidated but knew the look Maxwell gave him was telling him to back down right now.
"While you talk, we listen." answered Principle Bump.
"Good, now shut your pie hole or I'll tear you a new asshole that you obviously can't afford." Maxwell warned.
Eda was smiling smugly as she saw the love of her life chewing Principle Bump out while the principle couldn't believe that a kid was actually giving him a reason to fear a kid after how Eda forced the principle to do something about Boscha's behavior.
"Boscha had even used her magic to toss me from the grudgby field to the front walk way of the school, causing me immense pain, that explains the loud boom you heard out there. When we challenged her to a grudgby match, and she made a bet with them. The first time, she bet Luz, Willow and Gus that they should be their targets for target practice and be their water gofers, she made that same bet this time, but she told me if we were to lose, I had to kiss her, on the lips, when I'm already dating someone. So that's attempt of adultery there on Boscha's part." said Maxwell as he kept going. "She actually took my lunch, destroyed it, leaving me with nothing to eat at lunch, so that's her starving someone, she tried to push me down there stairs, so that's attempt of murder on her part."
Eda looked at Boscha with a look of annoyance, knowing that Boscha probably tried to ether steal her man or probably had that added to humiliate Maxwell.
"We played against Boscha this time, we won, but in both incidents, when Boscha and her team won the first time, both Skara, Cat and Amelia apologized to both Luz, Willow, Gus and Amity, they congratulated them and they admitted what they said or did and apologized for it. Even Eda had a talk with you about that incident. This time, when we beat Boscha and her team, both Skara, Cat and Amelia shown remorse like before. I even tried to make peace with Boscha afterwards, but she threatened to kill me, called me a very offensive, prejudice slang and proceeded to beat the crap out of me. Luz and her friends tried to pull Boscha away from me, Boscha than knocked me out temporarily, causing my shirt to rip off my body, she claims I stole her thunder when I did not, she threatened to break my face and told me I don't belong here. That's when Eda showed up, got Principle Bump to get down there to do something and here we are." said Maxwell taking a breath.
Maxwell cracked his knuckles and popped his neck loudly once more. The teachers and the principle were seeing that this might get very harsh on them like parents grounding their kids when they do something they're not suppose to do.
"Both incidents could've been stopped or avoided if you did something about Boscha in the first place. But just because Boscha was the precious star player, team captain of the school's grudgby team, the Banshees, and all because someone wanted to up the school's status when trying to beat a rival school in a game of grudgby and to boost popularity." said Maxwell as he was giving Principle Bump a cold look.
The principle and the teachers were sensing the worst punishment was coming to them but didn't know when it was coming. They were starting to become tense and nervous. They were expecting him to start yelling.
"For what you, Principle Bump, any of the teachers and staff that didn't do anything to stop Boscha, you do know that if this was happening to any innocent student, blame and responsibility will fall upon you. Parents would be furious when they find out their kids got hurt, bullied and almost killed when a teacher or educator could've stopped it from happening and were responsible for the children's safety, the parents would not only be furious, some would threaten lawsuits, something that this school doesn't need anymore of nor do any of you need that. You could be at risk of losing your jobs because of it if this happened to any innocent student and the workers of the school failed to do something about it. That would be negligence, child endangerment, accessory to a crime. They would be furious as me and my friends are right now." said Maxwell informing the teachers and the principle. "You all deserve to be given a punishment fitting the crime."
Principle Bump and the teachers looked on in shame as they knew Maxwell was right. Maxwell's cold expression turned to compassion.
"But I'm not going to punish you. Even though you probably should be, I'm not going to." said Maxwell.
That's when the teachers and Principle Bump looked on in surprised confusion. They were checking to see if their hearing was clear or if they misheard him. Their dread was starting to turn to surprised relief.
"Wait, what?" said one of the teachers confused.
"Me sweating you to the point of you all feeling like you might shit yourselves is punishment enough. You all have enough stress on you from what your job entails, that, and you need your jobs. I never said I was going to get anyone fired." said Maxwell showing mercy. "In the name of the lord, I show thy mercy upon thee."
The teachers and Principle Bump were oddly relieved, they didn't know if they should be relieved, shocked or confused. That's when Maxwell turned to look at Boscha with a furious expression.
"Boscha, you know, after everything you've said and done to me and my friends from both incidents. This reminds me of what someone said in the bible as a verse. Something I memorized at one point in my life." Maxwell started. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and goodwill, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee!"
Seeing and hearing Maxwell reciting a verse from the bible so powerfully had Eda, King, Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Skara, Cat, Amelia and the other kids smile at how he showed so much power and righteousness. Boscha was starting to scoff at him.
"What, you're going to punish me or sick the owl lady and her furry pet on me?" said Boscha shooting an insult at them.
"Nope, Principle Bump will be dishing out your punishment and if you say one more insult to those I care about, you'll be walking out the front doors of this school for the last time, now shut your pie hole before I turn your loud mouth into a zipper so you can zip it, you spoiled brat!" Maxwell warned.
What Maxwell told Boscha got her to submit, become silent and she was in disbelief at this as her smug grin got wiped off her face. She turned to Principle Bump while everyone else also turned to him.
"Principle Bump, from now on, you, the teachers and staff will do something about a bully if they are picking on an innocent student, you will hear both sides to every story so you won't be punishing an innocent student, yes, I know your jobs are stressful enough and you feel like there's too many headaches, not enough pain killers. But you, the teachers and staff have got to start helping the students more, if you treat students like criminals and animals, that's exactly how they'll behave." said Maxwell instructing the teachers and the principle. "If anyone or anything can put the children in harms way, than that harm can come to you next. You don't want that, you wouldn't want that for your kids, would you? No, you wouldn't."
The teachers, the staff and Principle Bump all looked at each other in astonishment, they knew that it was hard to admit it but Maxwell was right.
"Some of us don't have a mother or father to keep us safe, loved and protected like a world leader. Some of us are on our own, some of us may have loving parents who do anything for us, some of us don't have that, and some of us may have parents but their parents are harder on them than they are on their enemies, making them feel like they're on their own. We try to make this world we live in seem like it's not all that bad but you've all seen what type of bad people are out there when ever you encounter them. That Greater Basilisk, the Greater Velociraptor, the unevolved vampire, the Grom demon. Luz, me, and our friends had to take them down but how long do you think anyone's luck will last, both for the kids and the adults here. Eventually, luck runs out. The only way we can survive is together, not apart. So if any of you want to make sure that the kids parents don't try to sue you or if you want to make sure that you don't end up in hot water because you failed to keep the students safe and alive, than you have to help them when they need you, it won't be easy, but it's got to be done, now." said Maxwell taking a breath.
The teachers and the principle knew that it was hard to admit that they were wrong and a kid was right. Everything Maxwell said was making a lot of sense, they knew he was right. Luz was feeling joy that Maxwell was choosing to show the teachers and the principle mercy and not have them suffer someone's wrath, Eda was swelling with pride for him and the rest of the kids that testified against Boscha knew Maxwell was right and were impressed by this.
"As hard as it is to admit, he's right." said the abomination teacher.
Boscha was shocked to see that Maxwell got the teachers to agree with him.
"Maxwell Logan, you may raise a big point, even though it won't be easy. We apologize for what happened to you, Luz, Willow, Gus and Amity from both incidents. But we'll do our best in trying to do better at it. But like you said, it won't be easy." Principle Bump admitted and apologized. "As for you, Boscha, we've already had fifteen people testified against you for your actions. Boscha, you are hereby suspended from school for two weeks."
Boscha was wide eyed at what she heard was her punishment. She was almost speechless.
"But the grudgby season starts this week." said Boscha shocked.
"Speaking of grudgby, your also benched from playing grudgby. For the entire grudgby season this year, your benched from playing, if you go against it, than your school suspension will be longer and if you go against being benched, you'll be kicked off the grudgby team and you'll be replaced." Principle Bump continued.
Boscha's mouth fell open in shock. Suspended from school for two weeks was brutal, but being benched from the entire grudgby season this year and if she goes against her punishment, her punishment will be worse. She felt like it wasn't fair like it was cruel and unusual punishment.
"But...but...he was...but they..." Boscha stuttered nearly too shocked to speak. "This is so cruel and unusual punishment. What about Skara, Cat and Amelia, they were just as guilty."
"They already confessed about anything they said or did in both incidents and they already apologized for them and they admitted they should've said or did something sooner." said Amity with crossed arms.
"Boscha, what you did to Luz, Maxwell, Willow, Gus and Amity was so mean." said Cat.
"They're really nice kids and you shouldn't have said and done what you did to them, you practically made one of them cry." said Amelia.
"We may be guilty like you, but we admitted what we did, apologized for it and shown remorse for it. You did none of those things, they needed protection from you. We already know we don't deserve to be popular or to have the status we have, we'd gladly take a weeks detention and stay in that boring room through out the whole week at school." said Skara.
"Ladies, you're not getting detention. You owned up to your wrongdoing and that's enough to convince me to show mercy. The only one being punished is Boscha since she's the one who caused the pain when you saw how wrong it was of Boscha." said Maxwell showing mercy to them.
Both Skara, Cat and Amelia were surprised to see that Maxwell was showing them mercy as well. They knew that they deserved to be punished as well but seeing that Maxwell was showing them mercy for the reason he stated told them that Maxwell is a really sweet guy.
"Also, I'm going to be informing your parents about both incidents, Boscha." Principle Bump chimed in.
Boscha felt like this was so unfair that she got up from her seat and was now in complete disbelief.
"Suspended, benched, and your calling my folks about this? This is crazy!" said Boscha sharply.
Luz got up in furious anger and shot Boscha furious look as if to knock some reality into her.
"Boscha, you bullied us! Abusada! Herida! Dieron una paliza!" said Luz furiously. "You bullied us barbarically, you tried to lie about it, and you're going to pay for it!"
Boscha was shocked at how she was not punished beyond recognition. Suspended, benched and her parents will be informed. She wasn't getting out of that situation and her status and popularity couldn't get her out of this one.
"There's no cure for anger." groaned Boscha.
"There is. It's called justice." Maxwell replied. "Principle Bump, we'll walk ourselves out. You and the teachers, have a nice day."
Both Eda, King, Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Skara, Cat, Amelia and the rest of the kids who were witnesses of today's situation all got up and walked out the door of the office. Before they walked out, that's when the abominations teacher spoke.
"Mr. Logan, why show us mercy when we were guilty as well?" asked the abominations teacher.
Maxwell walked over to the abominations teacher, he knelt down and placed his hand on the teacher's cheek as if to show a sign of trust, friendship or compassion.
"You may be guilty of not doing something sooner but you didn't give me a beat down. My mercy prevails over my wrath, just like the lord." Maxwell told him.
The teacher seem to be blush and smile as he nodded in agreement once.
"I understand." said the abominations teacher.
Maxwell nodded and got up to his feet and walked out the office with the rest of those who exited the room. Principle Bump was using his crystal ball to contact Boscha's parents and when he informed them of what Boscha did twice, that's when Boscha's parents started to sound furious.
"Oh man, I can't believe it. You practically owned Boscha." said Gus thrilled.
"You actually gotten the teachers on your side. It was like negotiating in a court room." said one of the kids.
"That's my man. Stick it to them." said Eda proudly. "Also, Luz, you, Maxwell and your friends are okay?"
"We are now." said the kids in unison.
Eda stopped them as she pulled out a green camouflage T-shirt and handed it to Maxwell, he placed it on as he got his arms and head through the shirt holes. He felt better to have a shirt on him.
"Luz, Maxwell, come to me." instructed Eda.
The two wondered what Eda was about to say or do but both Luz, King and Maxwell came over to her and Eda wrapped her arms around Maxwell and Luz, hugging them as she hugged them right out of the blue. Even King hugged them. This caused both Luz and Maxwell to blush.
"I'm sorry you two and your friends went through those horrible incidents. I'll never let anyone hurt you or your friends." said Eda softly. "No one hurts my humans."
"If anyone hurts our humans or their friends, I'll tear them limb from limb." said King popping his neck.
Both Luz and Maxwell hugged her back. Feeling safe and protected by Eda from her words.
"Hey Luz, maybe we can show Maxie how we do a montage." suggested Gus.
Maxwell suddenly grew confused but also curious.
"How does one do that? I've seen one before but I never been in one." said Maxwell looking curious.
Luz, Willow, Gus and Amity grinned as they knew this was going to be fun.
"Don't worry, Maxie. You'll be having a lot of fun." said Luz giggling.
Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, Eda, King, Skara, Cat and Amelia took Maxwell outside of the school while the five students that testified joined in for a bit. They were at the grudgby field and it looked like they were jumping up to toss a ball through the goal to score, each one of them laughing in joy. They shown that Maxwell and Willow summoned a field of huge flowers around the field but they would use them to bounce on them and land on them like a trampoline.
"Boingie, boingie, boingie." chuckled Luz, Willow, Gus and Maxwell.
Minutes later on, both Luz, Willow, Gus, Maxwell, Amity, Eda, King, Skara, Cat and Amelia headed towards the Owl House as they were all having a bit of fun.
Maxwell had Luz, Willow and Gus having a bit of fun dancing around which looked like Maxwell taught them really well when they were goofing around, trying to make the others laugh which they succeeded.
King was in a cheerleader outfit while he was being filmed on Luz's phone as he was dancing like a cheerleader.
"You're- You're not gonna show this to anybody, right?" King chuckled nervously.
"Of course not. Keep cheering." chuckled Eda. "I'm trying not to laugh, but come on, there's bound to be a few laughs."
"She's got me there." said King lifting his shoulders up once.
Even Luz chuckled as she filmed this but only kept it on her phone. She knew that they would be able to look back on that moment and laugh along with other memories.
During another moment of their bit of fun. Both Eda and Maxwell were making out somewhere in the hallway of the house and just when Luz was about to walk their way, King pulled her into another room.
"What's going on?" asked Luz curiously.
"The love birds are making out." chuckled King in a hushed tone.
Both Luz and King peeked their heads to see that King was right as they saw Eda and Maxwell kissing each other while being in each others arms. They went back into the other room, knowing the two needed a few minutes alone to kiss each other while they chuckled.
"Come on, King, try not to laugh so loud." chuckled Luz trying not to laugh.
"Eda and Maxie, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." King teased in a low tone.
Later on, they were all laughing about a joke or more that Eda told them and Amity looked like she got through munching on what looked like a candy bar and she offered Maxwell to have one.
"Is that a candy bar that others here at the Boiling Isles eat? I haven't really been eating candy since, well, sugar makes me a bit crazy if I have it in huge quantities." warned Maxwell.
"A little candy won't hurt you, besides, after the day you had, you could at least have something sweet every once in a while." Amity reassured.
Maxwell figured she was right and relented.
"Alright, but what's in it?" asked Maxwell taking the candy bar that Amity handed to him.
"Chocolate, caramel, it's got something in there that makes it kind of like a cookie." Amity told him.
As Maxwell saw it was a huge candy bar, he started to eat it and it tasted really good, tangy and sweet.
"But try to eat it in smaller bites, it's got a lot of sugar in there." Amity warned.
Eda, King and Luz looked towards Amity with alarm.
"Wait a minute, you said you that candy bar has a lot of sugar in it?" said Luz looking alarmed.
"Is that bad?" asked Amity not understanding.
"Well, sugar kind of makes Maxie a bit hyper and..." Eda paused.
They saw Maxwell devour the huge candy bar and they looked on in alarm.
"That actually tastes good and it..." paused Maxwell.
"Uh oh." said Eda, King and Luz in unison.
They all saw Maxwell get that look in his eyes and he felt a huge burst of energy rise inside him, he started to laughed like he just went crazy. He jumped up high into air by about forty feet, whooping loudly as he had a crazed laugh.
"Yaaahhooooooooo. Top of the world mama!" laughed Maxwell in a crazy tone.
As they saw Maxwell jumping up and down forty to thirty feet into air like he was on a trampoline, they all followed his movements with their eyes and their heads.
"Has this happened before?" asked Amity a bit surprised.
"Oh yeah." answered Eda.
"Sugar makes him hyper and crazy in big amounts?" asked Amity again.
"Big time." answered Luz.
"Hahahaha! This is funny!" laughed King.
After thirty minutes of them watching Maxwell jumping high into the air and running around really fast. They chuckled as they found it a bit cute but also humorous. The second he stopped, he looked a bit dizzy afterwards.
"Maxie, you alright?" asked Willow curiously.
"No, more, candy. Head spinning, feeling dizzy. Don't blame Amity, she didn't know." said Maxwell slowly.
Amity blushed and she saw that Maxwell didn't want any of them blaming her when she gave him a bit of candy that made him have a sugar rush. Eda, Luz and King knew that Amity wasn't to blame for that since she didn't know. Amity felt like it was sweet of Maxwell to have them not blame Amity. That's when Amity went to go hug Maxwell and Maxwell seem to blush that Amity was showing some affection towards him but he knew that Amity was showing her sweeter side.
After Eda made sure that Maxwell took some pain killers for his headache. That's when Eda, King, Luz, Maxwell, Willow, Gus, Amity, Skara, Cat and Amelia were inside the house and having a cup of tea. As they all sat down, that's when Eda whispered something in Maxwell's ear that got him to blush and grin as Eda kissed him on his cheek, causing him to have an excited smile. They all had a very good day that day. Maxwell learned how to play grudgby, he learned how fun a montage is, he even had help from his friends to stand up to Boscha, beat her at her own game and they all testified against Boscha on his behalf and Boscha was given the fitting punishment. They all had a very good end of the day, but Eda felt like her mother bear instincts were still on alert towards Luz and Maxwell as she knew that Maxwell didn't know that Lilith found out where she lives and that they had a grudgby match of their own, even though Eda won, without cheating this time, she knew now that Lilith knows where she lives, she knew that both herself, King, Maxwell and Luz were were at risk but she knew there's a way to protect them and to keep herself out of harms way.
