Luz and Maxwell made it to school and there were a lot of kids lined up as Principle Bump was there to monitor them.
"Maxie, you feeling alright. I'll admit, me and Eda were afraid you might faint this morning." said Luz showing concern.
"I'm alright, I was also worried you might...you know. I was afraid you might break down in tears when Eda told us the news about her curse." said Maxwell showing concern for her too.
"I'm worried too. But we'll think of something to help Eda." said Luz trying to reassure him.
"I hope so, because you, Eda, King and Hooty are all I've got." said Maxwell sighing.
She placed her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
"We'll find a way." said Luz with a grin.
Maxwell felt a small sense of hope as he knew that Luz was showing her motherly side to him and Luz knew that Maxwell worrying about her meant he seemed to be showing ether a brotherly instinct or fatherly instinct. They made it to the line of students as they approached Willow and Gus as they greeted each other.
"Luz and Maxie, you ready for the field trip of a lifetime to the one, the only, Emperor's Castle!" said Gus sounding thrilled.
Hearing this, a field trip to the Emperor's castle? Maxwell didn't like the sound of it nor did Luz. They knew that the Emperor and anyone who worked for him there were enemies of Eda and them.
"Right...I was actually gonna stay behind, I don't like the way they treat Eda." said Luz feeling hesitant.
"Same here, that place is practically the red zone." said Maxwell not too thrilled.
Gus had a brochure of the castle which he was showing it to them. They knew that they didn't want the two humans to miss out on anything.
"But you're gonna miss out on all the cool stuff!" said Gus insisting.
"Like what?" said Luz and Maxwell in unison.
"Like ancient relics!" said Willow showing them the brochure.
The first thing she shown them was what looked like a glove that had the words "Green Thumb Gauntlet" on there.
"Look, it's the plant coven's green thumb gauntlet! It can grow whatever you imagine." Willow said showing them.
Both Luz and Maxwell looked at it and were showing an interest as it showed a picture of what the gauntlet can grow and it shown trees with arms and muscular bodies.
"And the oracle sphere! It shows you which path will help you become your best self!" said Gus pointing out another relic.
The oracle sphere shown to look like a crystal ball with two golden snakes wrapped around it. They let the two see another relic that caught their interest. It looked like a witch's hat.
"The healing cap...made from the magic of the Savage Ages. It is said to cure the deadliest diseases...and heal any curse?" said Luz reading about it out loud.
Hearing that suddenly had a light bulb light up in both Luz and Maxwell's heads. A relic that can heal any curse? Maxwell felt his heart race with excitement and hope as if he was given a miracle.
"Heal any curse? Like Eda's curse?" asked Maxwell hopefully.
"Yeah! You can't miss this!" said Willow looking thrilled.
"All aboard students!" called Principle Bump.
Without warning, Maxwell took hold of Luz's hand and they walked over to the magical bus with Willow and Gus.
"You thinking what I'm thinking, Luz?" asked Maxwell.
"The healing cap can heal Eda's curse." said Luz guessing the truth.
"It'll be dangerous but we got no other choice." said Maxwell.
As Luz, Willow, Gus and Maxwell got on the flying bus with the other kids. The wings on that bus flapped and they started to fly into the air. It felt like being on a board in the water from how the journey it made in the sky felt.
Some of the students were whooping it up and feeling excited about such a field trip, some were nervous about it as they never been to the Emperor's castle. None of them been there before, they knew that it's possible Principle Bump hasn't been there before but they didn't know if it was true as he never spoke about going there before. Which the principle himself didn't talk about his personal life very much with the students and possibly the teachers.
"No roughhousing! Do not make me turn this carriage around!" warned Principle Bump.
"Principle Bump, heads up!" called Maxwell.
Principle Bump looked and he ducked just in time to miss being hit in the head by an oncoming, unidentified demon like bird. He saw that Maxwell was doing that to make sure he didn't get hurt, leaving him stunned as if he didn't know what to say. Luz and Maxwell looked like they were planning to infiltrate the castle as they knew that the heal cap relic was their only chance at healing Eda of her curse.
"Hey guys." said Willow sitting next to them.
Luz jumped a bit, almost dropping her notebook but caught it in time.
"Willow, try not to sneak up on Luz. She's feeling a little nervous and to be honest, so am I." Maxwell kindly advised.
"It's alright, sorry." said Willow understanding. "I was just saying we were getting close to the castle. Emperor Belos built this as a symbol of unity. Before he came to power, folks were doing magic all wrong. He taught us that the only way to respect what the Titan gave us is to join covens."
As Willow explained a little bit of history from the Emperor, his castle and more. Both Luz and Maxwell shown they were listening and learning.
"The Emperor can bite my..." Maxwell started.
"Maxie!" said Luz chiming in.
"Sorry, I just know that something isn't right. The Emperor and his people, you know how they are towards Eda, me and humans. So I'm kind of nervous about this and I'm not a fan of the Emperor right now." said Maxwell showing remorse.
"It's alright, let's just avoid any swearing." said Luz kindly.
"Mind if I sit with you guys?" came a girls voice.
They turned to see it was Amity and she sat next to them. Maxwell patted a spot for her to give her permission to sit with them and she sat next to them.
"So, Willow...would you say this Belos guy is like, powerful?" asked Luz curiously.
Willow tried to choke down any laughter and she managed to stop herself from losing control as she shown a grim expression.
"No offense to Eda and forgive me for saying this, but the Emperor is the most skilled witch that's ever lived. He can even talk to the Titan." said Willow trying not to be offensive.
Maxwell groaned, hearing about the Emperor didn't make him feel right.
"Sounds like Emperor Belos is hiding something from the public. We got people like that in the human realm, they don't use magic, but lets just say that some people in government in the human realm are known to be crooked. And Emperor Belos sounds like that sort of person. I'm sorry to say that." said Maxwell not trusting the Emperor at all.
They eventually landed outside the front entrance to the walls of the Emperor's castle. Principle Bump was the first to stand up.
"Now, the Emperors assistant will be your tour guide. Please don't make me regret taking you here." instructed Principle Bump.
Hearing that not only had Maxwell feeling alarmed about Kikimora recognizing him and Luz, but he pulled the hood of his school uniform over his head to cover his head and face, that's when Luz did the same. The kids all walked up to the front of a bridge that came out from one side like an extendable baton. They all walked onto the bridge and the bridge took them to the other side of it. Luz and Maxwell made sure that Kikimora didn't see them. Both Willow, Gus and Amity stood with them.
"Children of Hexside, Emperor Belos welcomes you to his castle. We're honored by visits from students. You'll soon be a part of the coven, some lucky few may even find their home here, in the mighty Emperor's coven!" said Kikimora welcoming them.
Some of the students looked interested, some were nervous about what she said and others were silent and not sure what to think of such words. Maxwell shook his head at this.
"She lies." said Maxwell to himself.
"You...are the future of the Isles! My job is to teach you its past." said Kikimora.
She turned around and lead the students inside. Inside the castle, they had guards on the walls to the entrance inside. There were fire lit candles the illuminated the inside. Tapestries were on the walls that shown parts of the history the castle shows while they had hallways leading left and right.
As the kids followed her, Kikimora kept on explaining to them more about the castle's history but Luz and Maxwell stopped.
"Where do you think they're keeping the relics at?" said Maxwell speaking to Luz through his mind.
"I don't know, we never been here before." said Luz in a low tone.
"Hey guys, something wrong?" came Gus's voice.
They looked at Willow and Gus who both were looking worried about the two human teenagers.
"Heh...Uh, love me a properly ventilated castle!" lied Luz.
Willow and Gus were sensing something was bothering them and so did Amity. They caught up with the rest of the kids. Kikimora lead them towards two double doors and opened them, they followed her as she continued to explain to them the history of the castle. The room they entered had small pillars lined up on the side of the trail they walked on with magical objects on top of them.
"The relic room. These items are reminders of our great Emperor's overwhelming power. From the curious and mighty. To the very handy. And even, the most valuable." Kikimora went on.
As they saw the relics in the room, that's when Luz and Maxwell stopped. They saw one of the relics that caught their attention. It was a blue witch's hat. It was the healing cap that they remembered from before. They were about to walk over to it before they heard Kikimora call to them.
"Come along, children." called Kikimora kindly.
Gus caught up with them and pulled Luz by her hand, Maxwell following them as to not draw attention to themselves. They walked out of the room and down a hallway as Kikimora kept teaching them about the history of the Emperor and his castle.
"Here at the Emperor's Coven, we require members with sophistication, elegance, and grace." Kikimora continued.
They all came to a stop when they saw the double doors that lead outside had opened. There was a lady standing there, looking annoyed and disheveled. It was Lilith, she had feathers on her from her battle with Hooty, she spat out a feather. Both Luz and Maxwell saw her along with the kids which the two humans tried to look away from her in the hopes she wouldn't recognize them as they hid behind part of hallway's wall. All but Luz, Maxwell, Willow, Gus and Amity were thrilled to see her. Lilith walked down the hallway, going past the kids.
"Ahh! Make way for Miss Lilith Clawthorne, students." said Kikimora instructing them.
"The head of the coven! Wow!" said one of the kids.
"Yes, and if I'm not mistaken, she's on here way to see the Emperor himself. Let's all wish her luck!" said Kikimora optimistically.
"Good luck Miss Lilith!" said some of the kids kindly.
Lilith didn't look like it but she was angry. The kids didn't see the annoyed expression she had while she remained calm as though not to draw any bad attention to herself.
"Thank you, students. Good luck with puberty." said Lilith before walking off.
Maxwell had an idea that made him smile and he cleared his throat, mimicking a sound that he used to throw his voice to make the sound seem like it came from Lilith. He threw his voice to make it sound like Lilith farted loudly and they all heard it. The kids tried not to laugh while Lilith stopped and blushed deeply.
"Lilith." Kikimora said blushing.
"That wasn't me." said Lilith trying to remain calm.
Lilith walked away and went into another room as the double doors she entered closed behind her. Kikimora brushed this off and walked down a hallway.
"Settle down children, everybody tends to do that." Kikimora instructed. "This way, children."
As the kids walked off with Kkimora, both Luz and Maxwell didn't follow. Luz looked at Maxwell, seeing he was giggling.
"You threw your voice to make it seem like Lilith farted, didn't you?" asked Luz.
"When ever Eda's feeling mischievous, I couldn't help myself." chuckled Maxwell. "I'll calm down."
Both Luz and Maxwell started to go down one hallway and to another. They were following Lilith while not making a sound. But as Maxwell followed Luz, he was whispering some unknown words and everytime he did so, a clone of himself was formed but in disguise as the guards while he told each clone of his through his mind what to do and they obeyed and each clone went in opposite directions. He made at least seven of them.
The two humans followed Lilith when she went up a flight of stairs, they followed Lilith down one hallway or two and the whole time, Lilith didn't see or hear them. But just as they were about to reach another hallway, they walked back a few steps to hide behind a hallway corner. Lilith turned to see if anyone was behind her, she saw no one as she brushed it off and continued to walk down a hallway she took. As she walked down the hallway that lead to another set of double doors, they quietly peeked around the corner to see where Lilith was going.
Lilith let out a sigh, dusted herself off from the feathers that were of her. She managed to get herself dusted off clean and fixed her hair before the double doors opened and both Luz and Maxwell saw and heard what looked and sounded like a huge heart loudly beating. As Lilith walked inside, the doors closed.
"Look through the keyhole." said Maxwell to Luz through his mind.
The two humans walked over to the double doors as they were going to see if they could see or hear anything from the door or see anything through the keyhole. Maxwell let Luz look through the keyhole while he was looking through the doors when his eyes glowed a blue light, he was able to see through the doors like he had X-ray vision. What they both saw was the throne room of the castle.
The throne room looked like it was not very well lit but it had two large, golden bowls near the throne that had fire to illuminate the room. There were some guards on the sides near the throne while the Emperor sat down. Lilith bowed to the Emperor as if to show she was listening to him loud and clear.
"I am at your service, Emperor Belos." said Lilith.
The Emperor was breathing in and out heavily, it appeared he was in poor health from the sounds of it.
"Just a moment, Lilith." said the Emperor breathing in and out.
One of the Emperor's guards came to him with a gold, metallic plate with a gold palisman on it. He grabbed the palisman and he cuts open a palisman with his index finger and that's when what looked like green smoke like slime was seeping out from inside it. He raised it up to pour it into his eyes, causing his eyes to glow a green light. The Emperor's breathing was normal and he appeared to be feeling better from what ever has him in poor health.
"Ah, that's better." gasped the Emperor.
Seeing this scared Luz as she gasped but Maxwell covered her mouth so no one would hear them.
"Let's go." said Maxwell through his mind to Luz.
Maxwell and Luz both ran off as they didn't want to see what was going on in there. Luz felt it was too scary while Maxwell, trying to look brave, felt the same but he kept his composure. The two humans went off to look for Willow, Gus and Amity.
Meanwhile, back at the Owl House
Eda looked like she was knitting something while in the living room. King and Eda were sitting on the couch as King looked curious about what Eda's doing.
"Yeah! Something tells me Luz and Maxie are gonna like having a cape." said Eda with a grin.
"Cape? I thought you were making cake!" said King looking confused.
"You thought I was knitting a cake?" replied Eda confused.
King chuckled at what they said as if one of them made an unintentional funny.
"I don't know why I'm laughing but forget about it." said King getting up. "If there's no cake, then I have to get to work!"
King got up and went into the next room, metallic clanging was heard while King was probably preparing something.
"Would you look at us two, being all generous to them kids. You know what, when Luz first got here, I thought we were gonna eat her, but now I only think of that, like, sometimes. Okay, I stopped thinking about eating her." said King remembering how things were when they first met Luz. "And Maxie, oh boy, he was like taking care of a little kid, seemed like he didn't know how to fun because his dad was against it. He used to be afraid of you, yet he's always been super nice like Luz. Yet I always felt like trying to make both of them laugh, both of them are so ticklish. But Maxie, I actually thought he had a crush on Luz, or Willow or Amity. But it's kind of hard to believe that he went from a shy, sweet gentlemen who was afraid of you to a confident young man who fell in love."
Eda got up as two pictures on the wall fell and she picked both of them up. One of them was a picture of Luz eating what looked like a delicacy. The picture of Maxwell shown shown him looking like he punched a brute male demon from in the face. She remembered that the picture of Luz was her doing an eating competition she got interested in and the picture of Maxwell was him subduing a brute male demon that tried to harm ether Luz or Eda, she knew that Maxwell didn't want any man to lay their hands on a lady.
"Yeah, those two changed the feel of this house. But they always had a good heart, but Luz was impatient and always bit off more than she could chew at times. Maxie was always running to me when he was afraid while being scared to death of me, he never wanted to upset me and we knew it would kill him inside if he did anything wrong that got me, you or Luz or anyone he cares about to feel mad. But, despite all that, I think those two finally have grown up." said Eda with a grin.
King came into the room while it looked like he had a frying pan on top of his head.
"King, this morning, when I told them about my curse and what was going on with it now. I think it really scared them, one of them looked as though was so terrified to the point of tears." said Eda feeling her motherly instincts showing. "Do you think I should've said something sooner and tried to make sure they didn't freak out?"
"Well, there have been times when you told them something that was scary but you and me always managed to console them when ever they were about to probably be traumatized. I will admit, I can't bear to see Luz cry, she's a sweet, innocent girl and her lovably adorable personality is infectious. Maxie, despite the fact he was slightly worse off before we met him, I know we don't want to see him or Luz in pain. But they seemed worried about you because they care about you. You're kind of like a mom to Luz, and you have shown that with Maxie, but since you and Maxie are...dating. I know you just want what's best for them. I'm the same way, maybe I'm not as confident as you with some things, and I know I'm not as wild child like you are. But we both just want what's best for them and we want to protect them." said King with a word of comfort. "But just as a word of advice, maybe we sit them down and talk about it. I know you're probably not for it when it comes to opening up about your feelings, I'm not saying you should get all mushy, just advising that maybe we should talk to them about how everything is going to be alright."
Eda knew that King was right, she wasn't the type to be all emotional and mushy, but she felt like they should talk to Luz and Maxwell about how they have nothing to fear as she did feel like she scared them with the news about her curse. She almost felt like maybe they should stay home for the day but knew that them being out of the house for a bit would get their minds off anything negative.
"Maybe you're right. I'll admit, I am worried about them since they're only children. My heart was once like stone, but with Luz's lovably infectious personality and Maxie's sweet, gentlemen nature, it's warming up this witch's heart." said Eda turning to see King. "Do you know you got a cooking implement on your head like a hat?"
King looked up and saw he had the pan on his head. This left him blushing and laughing a bit.
"Well, I know what pan we won't be using. That or I'll go wash it." said King giggling.
King went off to wash the pan and was probably in the kitchen. Eda started to think about Luz and Maxwell. She felt like with how those two humans are growing up, she felt the urge to hug them, possibly kiss them. Her heart was racing with motherly love towards them. She remembers how much she's done for them and how much they've done for her.
"I got to hug them and tell them I...I really do love them. When they get home." said Eda softly. "I hope they're alright."
Back at the Emperor's castle
Luz and Maxwell were running around the hallways, trying to make it out of the castle as they knew that what they saw in the throne room was enough to make them feel like things were getting too dangerous for even their standards.
"After what we saw, that's too scary." said Maxwell running with her.
"Please don't notice we're gone, please don't notice we're- boarding the bus? Huh?" said Luz panicking at first.
They went to a window and saw what looked like a clone of both Luz, Maxwell, Willow, Gus and Amity boarding the bus with the other kids. They felt confused as they were in the castle but they saw a double of themselves. They were tapped on the shoulders by someone, causing them to jump in panic. They turned to see Willow, Gus and Amity standing there.
"Willow, what did I say about surprising someone without warning?" said Maxwell shaking.
"Sorry, we had to find you guys since we noticed you wandered off." said Willow apologetically.
"Oh...you guys! I...uh..." Luz stuttered lost for words.
Gus was using three blue spell circles and they automatically knew that the doubles of them were illusions that Gus made so the teachers and students didn't notice they wandered off.
"You were planning on taking the healing hat, weren't you?" said Willow confronting them about what they're doing.
They knew that there was no hiding it as Willow guessed the truth. Especially when Willow pulled out the notebook that Luz written down their plans on paper.
"You got us. But you don't understand. Eda has this curse and it's tapping away her magic." Luz began.
"We know it's wrong but we don't have any other choice, even the stronger potion I got for Eda is starting to no longer work. I can't lose Eda, we can't lose her." said Maxwell starting to panic.
Willow raised a hand to stop them as Maxwell was afraid what one of them would say. He felt like he caught doing something he wouldn't do in a million years unless he had no other choice.
"No matter what, you can't steal this hat." said Willow softly.
"But, you can borrow it!" said Gus with a grin.
"Hey! I wanted to say that!" said Willow giggling. "We learned about Eda's curse from your notes, we're totally gonna help you."
Luz and Maxwell felt relieved to hear this. Luz let out a sigh of relief.
"I know exactly what we gotta do. It's time for a heist!" said Luz with a grin.
"Before we do anything, I should tell you guys that if we're going to be dealing with guards, if anyone has to take one on, let me be the one to do it. I know how to knock them out without drawing attention to ourselves." Maxwell informed them. "Lord, forgive us for what we're about to do. We're doing this for Eda, watch out for both Eda, King, me, Luz, Willow, Gus and Amity as we attempt to do what we're about to do. Give us the strength and courage to push on. Amen, in the lord's name."
Maxwell shed a tear as he made a prayer hand sign with his left hand with his hand going up, down, and side to side. He let out a sigh.
"Is Maxie, you know, religious?" asked Amity curiously.
"God's gotten us this far, if he's got a plan for us, than trust in the lord." said Maxwell shakily. "Okay, I'm ready. But do not stray from the group."
They all nodded and knew that they'll be helping Luz and Maxwell while they knew that Maxwell was praying for their safety and protection as he was someone who had faith in the lord which they were starting to understand it more.
They started walking around the castle's walls when the first hallway they went down, a guard was coming and Willow used her magic to make a plant nearby grow large enough for the five of them to hide behind. The guard went passed it, but the guard did adjust part of the plant as the plant was in the form of a huge unicorn. The guard walked off and the kids walked off in the opposite direction.
They stopped at a door and peeked through it and saw another guard. Maxwell muttered a word that sounded like "HensÅ" and the five kids had the guard's uniform form around them. They walked out from the door they were coming from and walked by the guard which the guard paid no attention, thinking they were with him.
"Hey, you might want to check one of the girl's bathroom nearby, I think one of the toilets is overflowing." Maxwell told the guard in a deep and gruff male's voice.
"Again? Someone must have clogged the toilet. I'll go get a plunger." said the guard walking off.
Once the guard was out of sight, the five kids walked off and their disguises disappeared off them and were in their usual clothing. They walked towards another hallway and Luz stopped them at a large ventilation shaft, she drew a spell glyph on her notebook paper, pressed it to the air vent's cover and pressed her tapped her hand on it, causing the metal cover to melt like ice. They managed to crawl through it to another part of the castle.
"You okay, Maxie?" asked Luz showing concern.
"I thought I was going to get stuck. I'm not as small as you guys, so next time, lets not take an air vent as a means to getting somewhere." said Maxwell recovering from the crawling through the vent.
"It's alright, hopefully, we won't have to do that again." said Amity showing Maxwell some comfort with her words.
They went around another hallway and they almost got caught by another guard but Maxwell managed to knock the guard out by putting him in the sleeper hold till the guard was asleep. He dragged the guard into a nearby closet and closed the door. The hallway they came across was when they stopped near the corner of the hallway and Gus used his illusion magic to make an illusion of Kikimora show up, the illusion instructed the guard about something and pointed to the right which the guard did as he was told, once he was gone, Gus giggled as he had the illusion of Kikimora doing a dance but he quickly stopped afterwards. They walked down a hallway and made it to the relic room.
"Maxie, how did you learn how to knock out a guard like that?" asked Amity curiously.
"A retired military colonel once came to my old school to teach us about our country's army and the colonel was teaching us a self defense method or more." answered Maxwell.
Amity seemed to understand. Both Luz and Maxwell walked over to the small pillar that had the healing cap relic floating on top of it. They both looked at it with hope.
"Healing hat." said Luz with a sigh. "You're Eda's last hope."
She took hold of the the relic and it started to glow once she was holding onto it. Her body felt like it was having no body temperature for a brief moment.
"I- I can feel it! I can feel the magic flowing!" said Luz as the glowing of the hat stopped.
Gus went over to the relic he was interested in. It shown an illusion of himself with purple light around him.
"You're always your best self." said the illusion copy of Gus to him.
Gus shed a tear from how beautiful those words meant to him. The illusion of himself patted him on his back and hugged him before disappearing in a puff of purple smoke.
Willow was using the relic that interested her while she used the gold like glove to form a huge, muscular arm and hand. She made it flex the arm but than the arm retracted back into the relic. Willow and Gus placed the relics back.
"Whoa! I just wanted to try it out." said Willow blushing.
"Now we can heal Eda and get this hat back before anyone knows it's gone." said Luz walked back to her friends.
"I'll know." came a scary male's voice.
An unpleasant jolt of alarm and fear to the heart struck the kids. They started to back away.
"We need to go. Now." gasped Luz.
They were about to leave the room but the doors to the room had strong, thick metal barricades come down on the doors and it locked them all in.
"Okay, I'm going to freak out now." said Maxwell shaking.
"Maxie, calm down. We'll get out of here somehow." Amity attempted to comfort him.
"I can't, this is something I haven't experienced before." said Maxwell panicking.
Luz had an idea on how to comfort Maxwell or an idea to get them all out of there. She turned to Maxwell with a determined expression.
"Maxie, remember when you took on an enemy when they called you that hurtful word, imagine the door is one of them people whose insulting you. Than knock a hole in the wall." Luz advised.
Maxwell seemed to be feeling like his mind wasn't completely consumed by fear enough to looked at the door and he imagined the door had the face of Lilith on there as he imagined her insulting him.
"Stupid monkey, do as your told, you dump country bumpkin"
Rage started to fill his mind and body, blood pounding into him from the anger he felt. He popped his neck twice.
"Mama said knock you out!" screamed Maxwell.
Maxwell charged at the door and with all his strength, all his might and with everything he's got. His hand had morphed into a steel made fist, punching the door as hard as he could which made a loud boom.
"Did it work?" said Amity hopefully.
The smoke cleared as they saw the door had a huge hole but suddenly saw Maxwell standing but his eyes turned white as he stood still as a statue and he suddenly had a vision. The vision he had was looking like it was somewhere outside the castle where Lilith and Eda were battling each other. He saw Lilith looking angry at Eda.
"Then why were you so easy to curse?!" said Lilith.
The vision faded to black and Maxwell's eye sight came back. He was filled with alarm as Luz and the rest of them were headed for the door.
"Come on, let's go!" Luz instructed.

Maxwell felt something hit him on his head from behind, causing him to fall to the ground and he was losing consciousness.
"Maxie, what happened? Who cursed Eda, who hit you!" said Luz looking alarmed.
Maxwell was losing consciousness but he managed to say who it was that cursed Eda before his eyes were about to close.
"It...was...Lilith." said Maxwell slowly.
Luz was feeling shocked as she heard this. So it was Lilith who cursed Eda. As Maxwell was unconscious, that's when a shadow of someone rose above Luz. Luz was on her feet and saw it was Lilith at the hole in the door. She used her staff to pull the hood off her head to see if it was her.
