Luz, Willow, Gus and Amity were afraid now that Lilith was in the room. They knew she was bad news since she has been after Eda and tried to harm some of them in the past. Maxwell was still knocked out on the floor.
"Aren't I lucky to find you here. The human male is out like a light. Maybe I can sneak in a kiss to him." said Lilith with an evil grin.
"Stay away from him and us, if you touch us, Eda will come after you so fast!" Luz began.
Lilith came at them fast like how Maxwell was able to run really fast. She got in Luz's face with an evil look. Luz felt her heart racing from fear.
"That's the plan." Lilith told Luz.
"Run Luz!" instructed Willow.
Willow used the relic she used earlier and as Luz ran from Lilith, Willow used the relic to form a huge and muscular hand and arm to attack Lilith. It grabbed Lilith's staff but she swung her staff to cause Willow to be tossed across the room. The relic she used slipped off her hand, causing the wooden arm she formed to disappear.
"Wrong move, Lilith." said Gus.
She turned to see Gus was using an illusion to make a copy of himself. Gus looked angry that Lilith was harming his friends.
"It's two against one, and you don't stand a chance against-" started Gus.
Lilith used her staff to poke the illusion copy of Gus. The angry look on Gus's face was turned to surprise as his attack was stopped easily. and she threw him across the room with where Willow was. Both of them slowly got up while Amity tried to attack Lilith but Amity's attack with her magic got stopped by Lilith when she drew a spell circle that blew fire at her but Amity dodged it which she slipped and fell to the floor. Lilith was now turning her attention to Luz as she used one hand to use her magic to float Maxwell's body over to where she stood while she used her other hand to form a blue light.
"Now, that doesn't belong to you." said Lilith.
Lilith used a blue energy wave to grab hold of the Healing Hat from Luz, she tried to pull it away from Lilith's grip like they were in a tug of war with it. But to their bad luck, it caused the hat to rip in half and the remains of it fell to the floor. Than it disappeared into pieces within the air like it was dust. Luz felt her heart drop with disappointment.
"No! We needed that to heal your sister!" said Luz looking up at her.
Lilith let out a huff and grabbed Luz to hold her in one arm. Luz tried to struggle but Lilith was showing to have a strong grip on her.
"These decrepit relics are useless." said Lilith disgusted. "If you wanna see your friends again, deliver this to Edalyn."
Lilith tossed her staff to Willow, Gus and Amity, and they grabbed hold of the staff as it was flying them out into the hallway and straight towards Eda.
"Luz, Maxie." called Willow.
Lilith looked towards the now conscious Maxwell and at the now frightened Luz with an evil grin.
"What are you going to do?" said Luz sounding frightened.
"Awww, am I scaring the little human girl? Poor baby." taunted Lilith. "You and your companion will be coming with me. Knowing Edalyn, she'll come to rescue her human pet and the human male pervert that's her boyfriend."
At the Owl House
"Hey King, do you think Luz and Maxie will feel better if I try to be open and honest with them about what we talked about earlier?" asked Eda knitting in the living room.
"I think so, I'll be with you during that." came King's voice.
Hooty saw someone coming at the door.
"I spy with my little eye something coming this way!" said Hooty.
Eda looked up with excitement as she grinned.
"Luz! Maxie!" said Eda lighting up with delight.
"Wait! Wait for me!" said King coming into the living room.
King came in with what looked like a huge cake on a flatbed. He was wheeling it inside the living room. King came from behind it with a grin.
"You're not the only one who knows dark magic!" said King giggling. "Now stop talking and load me in!"
Eda grinned and got up to place King inside the cake. The cake turned out to be one of them that people pop out from like a clown in a jack in the box.
"Just no tickling." King advised.
Eda chuckled as she got King by his sides and started to place him inside it.
"Ow! Ow! Gentle!" groaned King.
She got him inside it with ease but Eda heard a knock at the door. She went to the door and opened it. There, she saw Willow, Gus and Amity. Her smile faded as she saw they had worried expressions.
"Eda, we have some bad news." said Willow.
Eda wondered what got them so worried to the point of panic but she got her answer when she saw the white staff that Lilith used to escort them to the Owl House. Her expression had her looking annoyed as she knew what was going on.
"Lilith." said Eda.
Back at the Emperor's Castle
Lilith was pacing around the entrance of the Emperor's castle while the Emperor was watching from high above outside the castle.
"Come on, Edalyn. You would be late when I need you most." said Lilith to herself.
It wasn't long till Lilith saw a huge ball of gold light appear and when it disappeared into static. She saw Eda was flying in the air, looking really irate with her. Eda had shot a gold energy wave that missed Lilith by inches. Lilith looked back and saw her staff had been shot at the castle's wall like a sword going through an enemies body. She turned to face Eda.
"Sister! I see that you got my invitation to a Witch's Duel!" said Lilith with a grin.
Eda shot gold energy waves of magic at Lilith but she was missing her as if to try and scare her. But than she tried to actually hit her with them. Lilith would dodge them at first by moving around but than used blue energy shields to deflect them. She quickly placed her hand out and her staff came flying to her, she caught it and used it to blast a blue energy wave at Eda. Eda deflected it and still kept coming to her.
"Where are my humans? If you hurt them." warned Eda.
Lilith raised a hand and Eda stopped as Eda was flying in the air.
"Easy now, the human is safe." said Lilith.
Lilith had stamped the ground with her staff once and what looked like a big blue bubble came out from inside the castle and to Lilith's side. It shown that Luz and Maxwell were inside it. Maxwell was still unconscious while Luz was showing to be alright. The terrified human girl looked up at Eda.
"Eda!" cried Luz.
"You can have them back, provided you do as I say. Renounce your wild ways and join the Emperor's Coven. He can help heal your curse!" Lilith instructed.
"Don't believe everything that bonehead says, he doesn't want to heal me, he wants to control me!" said Eda in defiance.
"Then I will take you in by force." said Lilith getting into a fighting stance.
Eda floated down on the bridge and landed on her feet.
"You've always looked down on me because I'm wild, but fortunately, that just made me work harder than you." said Eda getting into a fighting stance as well.
She spun her staff around in circles and stamped in on the ground, causing a huge, giant gold owl to form above her. Eda and Lilith charged at each other while the guards inside the castle watched. They flew around in the air, trying to strike the other down but would ether teleport and dodge the others attack or dodge it by flying out of the way. Maxwell started to slowly come to as he saw Eda and Lilith fighting.
Lilith tried blasting her magic waves at the two humans and made the huge bubble they were in to move towards the edge.
"Not my kids!" cried Eda.
Eda flew towards them and swung her staff to warp the bridge as parts of the bridge's boards flew up and made the bubble they were in roll around it and and it stopped once it got the bridge.
Lilith flew down and landed on the bridge while Maxwell was starting to see what was going on but he was too weak to move or do anything.
"Eda." said Maxwell trying to talk louder.
Eda held her staff like a shotgun and the eyes to the palisman have flickered gold light from it. Lilith suddenly saw three snake like bodies with the heads of an owl come up and wrap around her to bind her like an anaconda would do to it's prey. Eda spun her staff around and spun it in the direction of Lilith, blasting a gold magic wave of energy at her but Lilith was quick to think as she moved her fingers with a blue light forming and had the bubble that the two humans were in get in front of her. Eda saw this and swung her staff to make it disappear.
"Stop hiding behind Luz and my boyfriend Maxie, you coward!" panted Eda.
Both Lilith and Eda looked like they both were getting tired as a bit of sweat dripped from their foreheads and cheeks.
"It's sad to see you slowing down sister, tell me, is it the curse?" taunted Lilith.
Eda looked at her with anger and her gem looked like the color from it was draining. Luz was the first to see that as it got her worried.
"Eda, your gem!" cried Luz.
Luz tried to say it louder but Eda got up and kept her attention on them.
"Eda." said Maxwell trying to speak louder. "Lilith...she...did it."
"Maybe it is the curse, but then how pathetic are you, that you can't best me at my worst! You lied about Maxie to the Emperor about your actions, Maxie was just a scared little boy, looking for help because his father was hurting him and you tried to force yourself on him, you tried to rape him when he tried telling you he wasn't interested. Now your trying to hurt Luz, my little girl. They're just little kids. How can you stoop so low!" said Eda exposing the truth about Lilith.
Eda got up and spun her staff around once more briefly and ten gold rings of light appeared in the air and they all blasted gold magical energy waves towards Lilith. The owl snakes pulled the bubble the two humans were in away to get them out of the way of Eda's attack while Lilith formed a blue force field around her to shield her of Eda's attack.
The bubble the human teenagers were in were close to some sort of sharp spike.
"Maybe you are stronger than me, but that made me work smarter! I became smart, crafty! I still can't believe how you could care for such pathetic humans and why one of them preferred you as a love interest." shot Lilith.
"They're my humans, my kids, if anyone hurts them, I won't show mercy. And he preferred me because I shown him the one thing you didn't." Eda shot back. "You're just a lapdog for a tyrant!"
Luz managed to roll the bubble towards the spike and it poked the bubble, shattering and the bubble disappeared, freeing the humans. Maxwell was slowly moving his head and his vision was slowly getting clearer. The force field surrounding Lilith was cracking as cracks appeared in it like glass.
"Eda...Eda." said Maxwell slowly.
"You always thought you were better than me, that I could never beat you in anything." argued Lilith.
"I am better than you!" Eda shot.
Suddenly, Maxwell had gathered enough strength to shout out loud. He shouted out loud enough for all to hear him.
"It was Lilith! Eda! It was Lilith who cursed you. My vision told me everything! It was Lilith, she cursed you, it was her! IT WAS HER!" shouted Maxwell as his voice echoed loudly.
The attack they both did to each other stopped. Eda had a shocked look on her face and Lilith looked like she had a big secret about her coming out as she was wide eyed and suddenly shown a remorseful look.
"I have the power to remove it, if you would just let me explain. Please." said Lilith showing remorse.
Eda was now irate with her sister and charged at Lilith while leaving a trail of gold light following her, she used her staff to swing at the force field around Lilith and it easily smashed, sending Lilith flying and Lilith crashed against the wall, leaving a dent in the brick. Luz attempted to stop Eda in concern about her curse.
"Eda, stop, your magic!" called Luz.
Eda's gem was losing color and getting darker from the looks of it. She was too enraged to stop. Lilith got up and grinned as an idea formed into her head. A blue light glowed around both Luz and Maxwell as Lilith was floating them to the edge of the bridge.
"Humans. That orb was for both of your protection." said Lilith.
Lilith had them tossed over the bridge, both of them screaming. Eda ran towards the bridge and formed a gold circle and used her magic to save both Luz and Maxwell from being impaled from the spikes below by having them float above them.
"Eda, stop! You'll run out of magic!" Luz pleaded.
Eda looked like she was struggling as a gold light formed around her hand.
"It's my power, kid. And before you and Maxie showed up, I spent my whole life wasting it." said Eda looking like she was trying to admit something nice but she knew it was probably not the best way to say it.
Lilith smiled as she swung her staff around once formed a blue light around her hand and she used it to try and push both Luz and Maxwell down to the spikes. Maxwell felt too weak to do much but he could only speak and move very little.
"Eda, no, no, no!" begged Luz.
"Please no! Eda, I can heal your curse! Let me save you! Let me save you!" cried Maxwell starting to shed tears.
Eda's gem was now fully darkened and her eyes started to slowly go dark.
"Alright kids, listen to me. I'm going away, and I don't know if I can bounce back this time. Watch over King, remember to feed Hooty. I love you too!" said Eda was it looked like she was running out of strength.
"Please, no!" cried Luz.
"Not my love, please!" begged Maxwell.
"And Luz, Maxie, thank you for being in my life." said Eda looking like she was really hurt from how hurt the two humans felt.
Eda's eyes were now fully blackened. A big gold light was made all around the area and if anyone could see it for miles, they could. Eda collapsed as she used her final burst of magic to send Owlbert to pick up Luz but when Owlbert tried to go for Maxwell, that's when Maxwell revealed a tattoo on his neck, Luz saw that the Maxwell that was with him was his magical clone and the clone disappeared in a puff of smoke. Owlbert flew Luz to the bridge and Luz frantically makes her way to Eda as she was at her side.
"Eda!" said Luz.
Eda turned to lay on her back and groaned in a pain and let out a loud owl like shriek as she transformed into her owl beast form. She walked towards Luz once she spotted her. When Eda was looking like she was about to get closer, she let out another loud shriek but blue lines formed around her body like a net. Lilith pulled her away from Luz and to her side. Eda struggled in her binds while Lilith looked Eda with a grin.
"Come along, sister. Now we can let the healing begin." said Lilith sounding condescending.
She saw the Emperor walk off to go inside the castle while Luz was enraged, charging at Lilith.
"You monster!" shouted Luz.
Lilith got tackled by Luz but she got up and pushed the young female human off her.
"Leave, human! Edalyn is finally with her family. Her real family. Go back to your world, this one's ours. And where ever your human male friend is at, that may have been a clone of him but where ever he's at, we'll get him later." said Lilith giving Luz a cold expression.
Lilith grabbed hold of Owlbert when he tried to fly away. She stamped her staff on the bridge and while Luz was on the other side of the bridge. The bridge that Lilith was on retracted to the other side. The doors to the castle closed up.
Luz walked her way back to the Owl House. She was heart broken. She wondered where Maxwell was at since he had his clone with her the whole time. She wondered how she would try to save Eda. She made it to the Owl House as she felt hurt inside. Hooty looked like he woke up from a nap and saw Luz.
"Luz?" said Hooty.
"Hi Hooty." said Luz sadly.
Luz opened the door and walked inside. She looked to the side and saw a huge cake on the living room table along with balloons and party decorations. She saw that it looked like Eda and King were going to throw a party for both her and Maxwell. Suddenly, King burst out of the top of the cake and let out a breath.
"The cake is me!" announced King.
King looked towards Luz, looking worried. But suddenly, someone teleported into the room and they saw it was Maxwell. It looked like the real Maxwell. Maxwell looked at Luz with a saddened expression.
"Hey guys, um, where's Eda?" asked King curiously.
Maxwell came over to Luz as tears were welling up in his eyes and Luz looked at them.
"They took her." said Maxwell shakily.
Luz started to gasp, fell to her knees and broke down in tears as Maxwell came over to hug her while King and Hooty came to the two grieving human teenagers. They knew something was wrong.
