As the fireworks go off, Dawn looks at Piplup, who is worried about his trainer. "No need to worry," Dawn said. Dawn looks at Jeremy, who seems to feel much better. "I wonder," Dawn replies to herself, "If it should hurt so much when you care about someone." Odd, on the other hand, is listening to music with his head down, ignoring the fireworks. Houndoom nudges Odd until his headphone falls out. "Hey!" Odd said. Odd looks up and sees the explosions. "Whoa! How long have I've been out of it?" Odd asks himself. Houndoom sits next to his trainer. "I know, you can tell that I miss Dawn," "Houndoom!" "I do! I can't believe the shit that happened today! I wish I could have run after Dawn. She needed me! I wanted to be there for her!" Odd glances over to Aelita and Plusle, looking at the fireworks. "I hope she forgives Jeremy. I hope Dawn can forgive me!" Back to Dawn, she writes her and Odd's initials in the snow. Dawn looks at them. "DA: Dawn Adams. OD: Odd Della Robbia. What do you know!" Dawn looks at the fireworks and sees a Glameow. "My Cat Noir!" Odd looks at the lake and sees an image of himself and Dawn on Lyoko. Then he remembers a show he watches with her, the inspiration of their nicknames. "Strange, we kinda look like them!" Odd looks up and sees fireworks that show an image of a Ledyba. "My Ladybug!"

Odd remembers defending Dawn when Kenny visited Kadic. He remembers feeling protective of her, but not as a friend. Odd then remembers hiding Dawn's wing at the Dug-Leo concert at the beach and kissing her afterward. As Odd reflects, he places his hand on his heart and sheds a few tears.

Dawn and Odd reflect about becoming a couple when the spring semester had started; They remember sealing the deal with a kiss and watching the sunset. After reflecting, they imagine the other sitting back-to-back to them and holding their hands as they sing the rest of the song. Then they both look up to the sky again and see the fireworks.
"Dawn! I'm sorry!" Odd said. He places the headphones back on his head and lowers his head while Houndoom peacefully looks at him. Dawn looks up and sees the fireworks dancing in the sky. "No need to worry! That is when I start to worry the most!" Dawn sighs as she looks Piplup, who is more worried than ever. Outside near the resort, Ash rubs his hands, which are now bandaged up. Allison walks up to him and hugs him. "How do you feel?" Allison asks. "Better! I can't believe I blew up like that!" Ash said. "It's okay! It happens!" Pikachu jumps on Ash's shoulders. "Thanks, buddy!" Raichu jumps on Allison's head. "Like the view!" "Rai!" Ash reflects on Dawn and Odd. "I hope Dawn and Odd can work it out. I heard from Dawn that things at ugly after you ran out," Allison said. "Yes. Called Aelita's attitude!" Ash said. "Ash!" "It's true! I hope that was a wake-up call, and she gets some sense knocked into her. And what she did to Brock!" "I was able to speak to Cressila, and hopefully, her younger sister can get through to her," Allison said. Brock looks at the fireworks from the balcony. "Brock!" Cressila said. "Cressila!" Cressila stands next to him. "Do you need back up?" Charlemagne asks. "No!" Cressila said. "Are you sure? I know how to deal with fuck, boys!" "No! And Brock is not a fuck boy!" "Okay! I have my Pokemon on standby!" Cressila looks at Brock. "I'm sorry. My younger sister does not want me to get hurt again." "Again?" Brock asks. "Yeah!
