Chap 4: Nonsense

Soon after Cole left, a female Oni, judging by her body shape, entered. She carried a large black bag over her shoulder.

She gazed at each ninja intensely before she pushed Jay's cell doors open. Needless to say, the lightning ninja had a freak out.

He screeched when the demonic creature sat next to him and reached out for his head. Since he was tied up, the teen could do nothing to get away.

"Would you shut the fuck up!" The woman snapped. The panicking brunette's constant babbling was getting to her nerves.

"Sorry! Please don't kill me!" He pleaded with an annoying high tone which caused her to growl at him. The elemental master yelp but, to her relief, didn't make any further sounds.

She craddled the lightning master's head and checked for any trace of head injury. She made a displeased click of tongue before she reached with one hand towards the bag.

Jay tensed, he had no idea what the woman was doing. For all he knew, she could be pulling out an knife and cut his head open! Maybe she was after his brain? But do Oni eat brains? He thought only zombies were after brain. So maybe she wouldn't cut his head open afterall.

Lost in his horrifying thoughts, Jay didn't noticed the Oni bringing her hand back. All he knew was the agony he felt to his head and he was sure his head was being cut open. So he screamed his head off.

"What are you doing to him!?"

"Stop it, evil bitch!"

"Jay!!"

The other ninjas yelled. They had no clue what was going on. They were still shell shocked by their brother apparently willing betrayal and this Oni just walked in. No one had said anything, figuring she would leave soon enough. Then she entered one of the cell, (They didn't know whose since they couldn't see each other, but figured it was Jay's when the latter started rambling). Then their brother started screaming pure agony? Yeah, they were worried and furious.

"FUCKING SHUT UP!!" The women yelled, effectively quieting everyone.

The woman went back to her task and the blue ninja realised she wasn't cutting his head. No, surprisingly, she was applying a cotton ball against a very painful area of his head.

Wait, was she treating him?

Now that he was paying attention, it smelled like disinfectants. Why was there enemy treating him? Not that he was complaining! But still...

She bandaged his head and start undoing his chains. All came off except for the vengestone chains on his wrists and ankles. She started poking her chest, arms, legs and ect..., in search of any other injuries requiring treatment.

Finding none, she took a small container from her bag and a bottle of water. She wordlessly pass them to him before leaving him.

She did the same with the other (human) ninjas. Checking and treating them of injuries before giving them food.

Nya had a slightly fractured arm, Kai a few bruised and cracked ribs and Jay only his concussion. Lloyd was fortunately spared and Zane and P.I.X.A.L were out of her league.

She then stood in the middle, in sight of everyone and waited.The ninja stared at her expectantly but she just stared right back. She must be really impatient because not 2 seconds of the staring match had started, she snapped at them

"What are you waiting for? Eat the damn food already! I don't have all day!"

That got them moving. They each reached for their individual containers, opening them to find the appetite-killer porridge. Honestly, it looked and probably tasted, horrible.

Gulping in preparation for the torture to come, Kai took a spoon full of the food. It was really soggy and he was 100% sure those brown spots were burn traces. The red ninja, and no doubt the others as well, forcefully eat the food and instantly felt like he needed to visit the dentist. It was too sweet.

Did they dump the whole sugar packet in this or what? It taste exactly like... like Cole's cooking.

They wisely kept their mouths shut and reluctantly swallowed their dinner? Needless to say, the bottle of water was drained in seconds.

Satisfied that they've eaten everything, the Oni reentered their cells, just to fully bind them like they were before and collected all containers and left.

"Well, that was new" Jay said awkwardly to which everyone agreed.

It didn't make sense, why would their enemy treat them and feed them? And why would Cole, the willing traitor that he proclaims to be cook for them? (Only Cole can manage such culinary disasters and his cooking is always too sweet. Seriously, there's no limited to sugar for him) On the other hand, it would make sense that the Oni consumes different food and thus, they ate whatever Cole is eating. But still, something was not right here.

The ninjas discussed this until they were too tired and decided to sleep. According to P.I.X.A.L's internal clock, it was way past their bedtimes. Fucking 2 am!

They would figure out what's really happening tomorr- uh, later today. For now, they need a goodni- uh, good morning sleep? Nap? Oh whatever! They are sleeping right now and point!

Sorry folks, that's all for this time. I planned to continue this chap further and it seems better to cut it here. It was fun to write!
