Summary: Harry Dresden, the Winter Knight for the Winter Court, finds himself in the body of a boy name Harry Potter. Karrin Murphy is in the body of Hermione Granger. Now they both have to go through the next seven years, this Harry much more free thinking then a normal eleven-year-old should be and with the same problems as always. Crossover of the Dresden Files!

Chapter 15

Harry's POV

I hate the Winter Solstice! I arrived along with all of the Winter Court to the table that would hand over power from Summer to Winter. Snape had managed to hide from me for most of November, I couldn't get to him when he was in lessons, and Karrin had warned that most Professors probably didn't know Snape's dirty little secret. The person in question had changed into his actual form and some of the ladies of the court batted their eyes at him.

"This has got to be the strangest thing that I've ever seen," I told one of the fairies.

"That he looks this good when he's not looking human."

I didn't answer that.

Summer Queen appeared, along with most of summer's court, and the winter side was on the other side. And then I took my place next to Mab, who was looking all rich and dignified. I could feel the cold glare coming from Mab while the Summer Queen didn't look too keen on being here. It was like this all the time.

"It's time to hand over power," Mab said to the Summer Lady. "However, first, we have a bit of business that affects us both."

"And what is that?" Summer Queen asked her and Mab pulled out a box and placed in the center.

"Tom Riddle is trying to attack us again," Mab told her and she opened the box.

The Summer Queen got out of her seat as fast as she could, pure rage, anger, and hate, on her face.

"IS THIS YOUR WAY OF ATTACKING US?'

"No, it isn't," Mab told her. "In-fact Harry, here, is the one that's helping to collect them. The locket will be destroyed…by both of us."

"You have a child as your Knight."

"This 'child' is actually a grown man," Mab said. "Some strange magic happened that caused him to be inside the body of an ordinary wizard. However, he's still my Knight and he's still important for both courts."

I could just see both brains of those women working overtime to figure out how to make my life far more complicated then it needed to be. Hello, future complicated problems.

"Very well," the Summer Queen said, "We will rid this table of this damn thing. However, I will want something in return."

"Which is?" Mab asked.

'I understand, and you know that I will never tell my secrets, that you have managed to free a man that was put in Azkaban for something that he didn't do. I'm out of a Summer Knight and I need a new one. Agree to hand Black over and I will help you destroy the locket."

"I have no problem," Mab said and I saw her grinning and showing the sharp teeth that all of the winter court, minus me, have.

"Great," I heard Snape mutter.

"Don't talk, Lord," Mab hissed. "You already in trouble for not giving Dresden the charm."

Charm, what charm? I could tell that Snape knew that punishment was coming and I didn't want to be around with that happened. A man appeared almost at once and I could tell that he was confused that he was here. When he saw me, he grinned.

"Mr. Dresden," Mab said, "This is Harry Potter's godfather. Mr. Black, I'm Mab and as part of the agreement to ensure that the locket is destroyed you shall hand yourself over to the Summer Court and become their Knight."

"What the-?"

"I would advise that you accept," I told him, "At least your Mistress will be warm."

"And you would have protection from the Ministry," Mab added. "Just like my dear Winter Lord has protection from them as well as long as he does what I tell him to do."

I saw another shutter coming from him.

"So I accept and the locket is destroyed," Black said.

"Yes," I answered.

"Then I accept," Black said and we watched as the last remaining of Summer's influence was gone and went into him.

Both Queens chanted as the table started to glow. This was sidhe magic unlike anything that any wizard could do. The locket screamed, and I mean actually screamed, in pain and then burst open. A sudden pain hit me and I screamed as well. The world turned white and then black.

"Harry," I heard a voice call out, though I had no idea where it was coming from, and when I opened my eyes I found that I was on my back with both Queen's looking at me with concern and fascination.

I will take the Summer Queen's concern any day of the week.

"What happened?" I asked them.

"It seems that your scar was housing a piece of Tom's soul," The Summer Queen told me.

"The magic forced it out," Mab added.

"I feel used," I told them.

"Toot," Mab called out and I saw Toot appear. "Take Harry back to Hogwarts. Our business is over."

And then there was a flash of light and I was back in my common room.

Mab's POV

"Now that was something that I wasn't expecting," I said to Snape. "To use a child like that is sickening."

"Want me to strike against Quirrell?" Snape asked me.

"Not yet," I said. "Maeve, I know that you're here."

A shower of snow appeared and then my daughter came out. She was grinning at me and put her arm over Snape's shoulder.

"Can I have fun with him?"

"No," I snarled. "The punishment for not giving Harry the charm will a week in iron chains. Once you've been healed then give Harry the charm and watch Quirrell. When the time is right, you and Harry Dresden will strike."

I could see the color in Snape's face leaving him.

Karrin's POV

"I don't think that I want to be in Snape's shoes right now," I said to Harry.

"Mab won't do anything to kill him, just put him in a shit ton of pain," Harry said. "That damn thing was inside my body."

Karrin's shuttered and I didn't blame her. I don't like anything in my body, trying to do anything to control me.

"So what's the deal with the new Summer Knight?" I asked him.

The whole fairy court thing is still new to me.

"Use to be in Azkaban, from what I could tell," Harry said. "Though I have a feeling that he might not have been there for something that he had done."

"Let's hope not," I said.

A/N: Sorry about the really long wait, had to go back and read the whole story that I had written. Also there's no Winter Lord in the Dresden Files series so I made that tiny mistake. Hermione, or Karrin, will play a large role in the story later on. Right now it's just Snape and Harry that are really mentioned in the story. All the other main characters are just supporting characters in the larger story.
