Time Paradox Enforcement Squadron HQ. Year 20 7012.
The job of a time monitor is a constantly thankless one, but those in the profession take pride in it. Sure, it's not as glamorous as the actual time travellers, but it took skill. A time monitor had to be constantly vigilant, ever present, watching every second for any deviations from the approved timeline. There's an old saying among this grand corps: "A time monitor never sleeps."
"Johnson! Wake up!"
"GAH! I'm up, I'm up!" The time monitor in question, David Asbestos Johnson, snapped to attention. "Have we got any blips?'

"Move it clerk!" Her father shouted at the man behind the desk. "We're losing daylight!"
"It's night sir."
"Don't argue with me!"
"Daylight! Of course!" Realization hit Pacifica like a ton of bricks. "The curse must have been cast during DST! It figures that stupid peasant ghost can't do math!"
If the curse had been cast during Daylight Savings Time, then Pacifica would have to lift it an hour earlier. That meant she just needed to-
"Oh no."
Knock knock.
"I need your help."
