Hope For the Lost

Isaac is one of the final humans left in Rapture in the late 60's. Nearly his entire life has been spent working with his family to build an escape from the hell that is Rapture. His parents have been dead for four years now. With only a few scraps left to complete the escape plan, can he make it out with his humanity still intact? (Currently undergoing heavy editing and updating.)

3. Chapter 3

Hey Guys! I'm still alive. Still kicking. Still working

It's been a long time since an update. My life has changed a lot. I've gotten older. I'm busy with school, job searching, relationships, and all that great stuff. I'm sorry haha.

The important thing is that I have not abandoned this story. However, truly new content is not being worked on. Yet.

I am doing a nearly a full rewrite. Heavy editing, way more development. Basically I duplicated the story and have been going page by page changing scenes to open the story up to more options for character development. What is posted runs too fast. Things happen too quickly. I want to build up some more interesting characters and a more mature writing style so that I can write new content that I can be proud of. This literally means rewriting the entire story, as I have done the first 20% which means that the other 80% all has to change to fit the new style and execution.

Don't worry though. The story line is the same. The characters are the same. My idea for the conclusion is the same. Many of the scenes in this story will be kept in concept but executed differently. You can expect there to be more interesting content between Isaac and O, but it will be worked through much more slowly with more interaction and actual relationship building. No more Omega getting all cozy with Isaac right after they meet.

It's been years and this story is still something I am positive I will finish. It may take a while, but it will be done. This idea is almost always bouncing around in my head along with many other fics I yearn to write, but this is my gem and the closest to my heart.

I want to thank all of you for sticking with me. I glance at my stats and see new viewers still going over the story every week even after all this time. I will give you guys something new to read eventually!
