Katsuki glared at the envelope sitting on his desk, the UA logo emblazoned on the paper. It had arrived twenty minutes ago, his mother shouting at him from across the house. He'd had to resist the urge to launch himself down the hallway with his explosions, his mother would have spent half an hour lecturing him about it, and he didn't have time for that now. Not when he had such an important letter to open. Which he was going to do. Right now.

He wasn't nervous. Katsuki didn't get nervous. He was too strong to get nervous.

"Oi, brat! You opened the letter yet?" his mother called from behind his door, making the blond jump slightly.

"Fuck off, old hag!" he screeched back, snatching the letter up and ripping it open, scowling as the small metal disk hit his desk.

"Hello young Bakugo!" the projection of All Might appeared in front of him, Katsuki reeling back in surprise, "I am sure you are wondering why I am here! Well, young man, that is because starting this year, I will be a teacher at UA! Helping raise the next generation of Heroes!"

All Might was going to be teaching at UA! All Might was going to be teaching him! At UA! Katsuki was jerked out of his shock as the projection continued talking.

"But I'm sure you're not here to listen to me blather on! You want to know your score!" The projection's smile widened slightly, "Congratulations! You scored 70 villain points! A new record for villain points in the entrance exam!"

He had set a new record! Of course he had! He was Katsuki-fucking-Bakugo! He was strong! He always won! He-.

"Earning you a well-deserved joint first place in the overall scores for the practical! But don't be discouraged, it was a close thing! Very close, in fact!"

Katsuki froze, his eyes focusing on the scores as All Might stepped aside, his eyes shooting straight for the number one spot, his blood running cold as he felt the fury burning brightly within him. There was his name. Directly above another.

Midoriya, Izuku: 30 Villain points | 40 Rescue points

The shout echoed through the entire house, Mitsuki glancing up as she prepared lunch, scowling at the ceiling as she shouted for him to quiet down.

"DEKUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Izuku sat quietly in the classroom, the general buzz of morning chatter happening around him as he continued to stare blankly at his desk.

"I got in, I got in, I got in," several of the other students glanced at him before stepping away as he began to mumble furiously, still unable to fully process what was happening, "And I got joint first place with Kacchan."

A sudden thought snapped him out of his stupor, his head snapping up as his eyes went wide with fear, "Kacchan is going to be upset."

"Huh? What'd you say, Deku?" one of the other students sneered, grinning cruelly at him as the group laughed, "Bakugo's gonna be angry at you? What's new? Maybe he'll go easy on you today cause he probably passed the UA entrance exam!"

At the that moment, the door to the classroom slammed open, the room flinching as they heard the glass and wood crack. Smoke twisted out from between Bakugo's fingers as he glared around the room, the fury in his eyes making the students step back, giving him a clear line of sight to Izuku.

"Deku," his voice was uncharacteristically quiet as he stepped into the classroom, small explosions dancing across his palms as he glared at the pale boy across the room, "I'm going to kill you."

As soon as the words left his mouth, he unleashed a massive explosion, launching himself across the room as he scorched the walls. Desk flew aside as the students screamed, throwing themselves out of his path as he flew towards the startled teen. He raised his palm, aiming directly for Izuku's head.

Izuku reacted on an instinct that had been beaten, quite literally, into him by his Sire, hand snapping up to snatch Bakugo's wrist. Twisting his hand away, the explosion shattered through the window, the dark smoke being whipped away by the wind as Bakugo swung his other hand, Izuku just barely blocking it as the second explosion shot past him, scorching the arm of his blazer.

"YOU WORTHLESS FUCK! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO FUCKING FAIL LIKE THE DEKU YOU ARE!" Bakugo roared as Izuku darted back, ducking under another full power explosion, the shelves on the back-wall shattering, "HOW THE FUCK DID YOU PASS?! HOW THE FUCK DID YOU BEAT ME?!"

"Kacchan!" Izuku shouted, locking eyes with the blond as he felt the blood inside him boil, "Stop!"

The classroom fell silent as Bakugo froze, his arm halfway through another strike, the explosions on his palm dying almost instantly. The room remained silent for a moment longer, until several teachers burst in, freezing at the spectacle.

"W-what happened?" their homeroom teacher stuttered, staring at the destruction around them.

"Deku beat Bakugo in the UA entrance exams," one of the students muttered, the room all turning to stare at him in disbelief as he repeated himself, louder, "Deku beat Bakugo in the UA entrance exams!"

"And why isn't the offender being suspended?" the officer asked as she glanced over at the two boys standing with them in the principal's office, the principal himself wiping his forehead with a handkerchief.

"Uhm…well, you see, this is his first offense…" the man started, jumping as the officer cut him off.

"Except it isn't," the woman growled, swiping the screen on her phone before turning it to face the man, "It quite clearly shows here that one Inko Midoriya has made multiple reports to the police about illegal quirk usage and assault with a quirk against her son. All perpetrated by one Katsuki Bakugo, though charges were never pressed."

Izuku started, he hadn't known his mother had gone that far. Nervously, he glanced over at Bakugo, the blonde staring dead ahead, his teeth bared at he clenched his fists tightly, anger burning in his eyes.

"So why hasn't the school done anything about this?"

"Uhm…well, you see, Bakugo is an exemplary student! He just recently passed the UA Heroics entrance exam and-!"

"And the last report was from three months ago," the officer cut the man off again, "Well before the entrance exam. Care to explain that?"

The principal wiped his forehead again, glancing over to the two boys, Izuku immediately looking away as Bakugo continued to glare at the opposite wall.

"I…Uhm…I…I don't have an excuse," he finished lamely, dropping his head as the officer scowled at him.

"Well then, I will be taking Bakugo down to the station for illegal quirk usage and destruction of public property," the officer sighed, standing from her chair, "He's still young and, as you said, managed to pass the UA entrance exams, so he'll probably get off lightly."

The tension in the room seemed to fade slightly, until the officer turned to Izuku.

"Unless you want to press charges for assault, Mr Midoriya."

The room went deathly silent as Izuku stared at the woman in horror, his mind going a thousand miles per second as he looked around. The fear on the principal's face was obvious, even Bakugo somehow looked worried through the heavy layer of anger that plastered his face.

"I…N-no!" Izuku blurted, his cheeks flushing, "I…I don't want to ruin his chances of getting into UA."

The officer sighed, looking almost disappointed for a moment before her face went blank again.

"Very well. I will be leaving with Bakugo now," she stated, stepping towards the door, and indicating for the blond to follow.

"What is happening?" the principal moaned as the door slammed shut behind the two, Izuku jumping as the man slammed his head down on his desk, "Two students getting into UA Heroics was supposed to be a blessing for this school! And now one of them may be rejected before he even gets in!"

"Uhm…" Izuku muttered, the principal darting up as he stared at the boy in surprise, as if he had forgotten that Izuku was even there, "C-can I go back to class now?"

"I…yes," the principal sighed, "Your lessons have been moved to room 4-B until your classroom is repaired. Get going!"

Izuku dodged under the punch, watching his Sire as the two circled each other. The older man bounced in a classic boxing pose, Izuku mirroring him as the teen threw out a quick jab, the older man leaning to the side easily as it passed through empty air. Suddenly, his stance changed, Izuku just barely managing to jump back away from the palm strike to his chest, trying to copy his Sire's stance. The moment of distraction was enough for the man to step forwards and sweep the teens legs out from under him, sending Izuku falling painfully to the floor.

"I think that is enough sparring for tonight," Sire sighed as he stepped back, allowing Izuku to get back to his feet, "There is something on your mind. It is distracting you."

"I…yes," Izuku sighed, not bothering to deny it. His Sire always seemed to know when he was trying to hide something, so lying felt pointless, "I…I met Kacchan today."

"Ah, the boy with the explosive quirk, yes?" the older man asked, Izuku nodding, "The one who has been, for lack of a better word, bullying you for the past several years."

"Yes…" Izuku sighed as he toweled off, the older man simply standing nearby, seeming completely unaffected by their recent bout of activity despite his heavy clothes, "He…he attacked me today. In class. Like, actually attacked me. Someone called the police."

"That is good, is it not?" Sire hummed, opening the door from the roof of his apartment building, allowing Izuku to pass through first, "He is going to be punished for his, for lack of a better word, transgressions towards you."

"Yes, but…" Izuku trailed off, pausing on the stairs, a forlorn look on his face.

"But?"

"But I don't want his to…you know…not get into UA because of me," Izuku muttered, the older man sighing, grabbing the teens shoulders and turning him to face the older man.

"Young one…no, Izuku," he started, his usually neutral expression softening, "Your gentleness is one of your greatest strengths. However, it is also one of your greatest weaknesses. Your willingness to sacrifice yourself for others is an admirable trait for a Hero, but you cannot always sacrifice yourself for others when it will be a detriment to yourself."

Izuku stared up into the man's eyes, blinking slightly as he tried to focus on them, a familiar sense of calm washing over him.

"But, Sire-,"

"But nothing," the older man said, releasing Izuku's shoulders and walking past him, "You cannot keep accepting the mistakes of others as your own. Now, shall we continue your lessons on psychology and tactics tonight, or would you prefer to continue learning the old tongues?"

"I…Psychology and tactics, Sire."

Izuku hurried through the hallways as he made his way to his class. He'd woken up at the crack of dawn that day, said goodbye to his mom and left early. Yet here he was, going to be late on the first day of class because he hadn't been able to help himself and had stopped to watch several villain battles on his way to school.

Gasping as he arrived at the massive door, he yanked it open and let out a sigh of relief as he saw that the teacher wasn't yet present.

"I am not an extra!" a stern sounding voice called out as he entered, a few of the class looking away from the confrontation to glance at him, "And please take your feet off the desk!"

"FUCK OFF!"

Izuku shivered at the voice, looking over as Bakugo glared at him, his eyes going wide for a moment.

"THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE, DEKU?" he roared, jumping up from his desk.

"Please calm down, Kacchan," Izuku said, looking the blond directly in the eyes and feeling a bit of the blood he'd had at breakfast boil away, "We don't need any fights on the first day."

"Tch," the teen suddenly halted, his eyes unfocusing for a moment before he clicked his teeth and turned away, "Whatever!"

"Woah! That was cool!" Izuku jumped at the sudden voice behind him, spinning to see the brunette girl from the exam, "Was that your quirk?"

"I…uh…well, part of it," Izuku mumbled, before shoving out a hand, "Izuku Midoriya."

"Ochako Uraraka!" the girl said happily, "Thanks for saving me in during the entrance exam."

"N-no problem!" Izuku squeaked as she shook his hand, his mind buzzing, SOOOOOOOFT! Girls hands are so soft!

"And I must apologize to you!" the stern boy from before said as he strode up to them, "Tenya Iida. I thought you were not serious about entering UA, but you deduced the true meaning behind the entrance exams and seized the victory. Personally, I feel slightly ashamed to have not realized it myself!"

"I…uh…what?" Izuku asked, staring up at the taller blue-haired boy, "I don't follow."

"The rescue points," Iida explained slowly, looking back at him, "Are you saying you had no idea about them?"

"Nope, none at all. I just did what I thought was right. Well, there wasn't much thinking involved, honestly."

Iida looked like he was about to say something else before a tired voice cut him off.

"If you're here to make friends, get out," the class looked past the three of them to see a caterpillar man lying on the ground outside the classroom, "Now get to your seats."

The class rushed to get to their assigned seats as the man shed the sleeping bag he was in, glaring at all of them once they'd finally quietened down.

"Eighteen seconds," he sighed, "That was how long it took for you to react. Too slow, half of you would have been taken out, and the other half disabled by the time you'd reacted. You're here to learn to be heroes, not slackers."

The class shivered at his words, looking around at each other.

"Whatever, I am Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher," the man gave another tired sigh, pulling out a set of the school's sports uniform from his sleeping bag, "Go get changed and meet me outside on the main sports field. You have 15 minutes."

"But sir!" one of the girls, her skin bright pink, called out, "What about orientation? And the entrance ceremony?"

"How illogical," he sighed, looking at her, "There's no need for such frivolities when you're training to become a Hero. 14 minutes and 35 seconds."

The group hurried out of the changing rooms as quickly as they could, Aizawa watching them with interest as they assembled in front of him. There was a small basket containing a number of softballs and a cooler box sitting on the ground beside him.

"14 minutes, 56 seconds. Not terrible, but not good enough. Make it less than 14 minutes next time. You, Bakugo, you scored the joint highest in the entrance exams," the teacher barked, the blond teen glaring at him, "How far could you throw a softball in middle school?"

"About 60 meters," the teen growled, stalking up as the teacher tossed him a ball.

"Use your quirk to throw this as far as you can," the man grunted, looking down at his phone.

Bakugo grinned as he stepped into the chalk circle, winding up and letting out a scream of "DIE!" as he set off an explosion to launch the ball.

"670.2 meters," Aizawa sighed, "Good."

"Oh, this is going to be fun!" the pink skinned girl cried as their teacher gave them a creepy grin.

"Fun, you say?" he chuckled, making the class shiver, "Fine, the person who gets the lowest score will be expelled."

The class immediately began murmuring as he said that, giving each other worried looks.

"Enough messing around," Aizawa said, his grin fading, "Let's get on with it."

Izuku smiled. He'd only had to use a little over three quarters of his stored blood to keep himself middle of the pack in all the events so far. He was starting to run low, but it should be enough to get him a decent score in the last event, the soft ball throw.

"Midoriya," the teacher's monotone voice startled him, "You're probably running low on blood. Usually I wouldn't do this, but it was a special request from the principal."

Izuku froze at the words, looking slowly around at his fellow classmates, who'd all stopped chatting, now looking at the two of them in interest as Aizawa dropped the cooler box in front of him.

"I…uh…is that a good idea, sir?" Izuku stammered, looking up at the man, "I don't really want to…you know?"

"The sooner they get used to your quirk, the better," Aizawa growled, kicking the box closer to him as the rest of the class started to whisper, "Now drink."

Izuku got up and opened the cooler box, seeing the medical bags of blood inside.

They couldn't have put it in bottles, could they? Made it look like juice or something. He thought, lifting one out and breaking the seal.

He closed his eyes as he sucked down on the blood, the cold liquid tasting slightly stale as he drank it. A moment later, he felt a rush of energy flow through him. Not as great as when he'd drunk Uraraka's blood, but still greater than what he got from animal blood. He glanced over at his classmates, most of them holding their hands over their mouths or looking slightly green. Only a few seemed unaffected, namely Todoroki, who just stared, and Uraraka, who seemed to be watching in fascination.

"Good," Aizawa muttered, seemingly unaffected by the display, "Now throw the ball with all your power."

Izuku nodded as he walked over to the chalk circle, picking up one of the softballs along the way.

Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath, drawing his arm back and pumping as much energy into it as he dared. There was a crack as he threw it, the class jumping as the ball vanished into the distance.

"1367.4 meters," Aizawa said after a lengthy pause, giving a creepy grin, "Good."

"DEKU!" the shout echoed through the air as Bakugo launched himself at the teen, Izuku instinctively jumping back, "WHEN THE FUCK DID GET A QUIRK?! GET DOWN HERE YOU FUCKING NERD!"

Izuku blinked, looking down at the ground and nearly screaming. He was floating a good ten meters up, the rest of the class watching in surprise. He looked down at Bakugo as the blond teen launched himself off the ground with his explosions, flying towards him. Aizawa simply watched for a moment as Izuku continued to dodge the angry teen's attacks.

"Enough," the older man sighed, his eyes flashing red as the two of them suddenly fell out of the sky, Bakugo letting out a pained cry as he landed heavily on the ground, getting up and dusting himself off, before glaring at the man.

"THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR?!"

"Midoriya, go see Recovery girl," Aizawa sighed, ignoring Bakugo as the green-haired boy got up, having landed worse than the blond.

"That's not really necessary, sir," the teen hissed as he looked down at his broken wrist, gripping it tightly for a moment as the sound of grinding bone made several of the class shudder, "I have plenty of blood. It'll heal in a moment."

"What the hell!" the pink-skinned girl, Mina Ashido she'd introduced herself as, gasped as Izuku opened and closed his now healed hand, "That's way too overpowered!"

"Midoriya-san," the stern voice made Izuku tense as he turned to face Iida, the taller teen looking down at him carefully.

The rest of the day after the quirk apprehension test had gone the same as any normal school day, except that the rest of the class had been stealing glances at Izuku the whole time, whispering to each other about him. It hadn't felt like they'd been saying anything too bad, but it still unnerved him.

"Y-yes Iida-san, how can I help you?"

"I've been meaning to ask you, what was in those bags you drunk from during the test?"

Izuku froze, looking up at the stern looking boy.

"I…uh…well, it's just that…well…"

"I'm simply interested because your quirk seems to function similarly to mine. At least in the aspect that my Engine is power by citric acid, while yours is powered by whatever you drank before. So, I'd like to ask, what is it?"

Izuku stood stunned for a moment, almost laughing at the taller teen's earnestness.

"Well, you see… it's-"

"It's blood," the voice cut him off, both of them turning sharply to look at Ochako, who's cheeks flushed at the sudden attention, "Right?"

"Well, yes," Izuku sighed, waiting for the inevitable rejection that would come.

"I see," Iida mumbled for a moment before perking back up, "Well, quirks come in all forms! It is truly a versatile and powerful quirk!"

Izuku stood stunned for a moment, feeling the tears well up in his eyes, quickly wiping them away with his arm.

"Midoriya! Are you okay?" Iida gasped, placing a hand on the green-haired boy's shoulder, "I had no intention of harming your feelings!"

"No! No, I'm fine, I was just worried that you'd see me as… well, a monster, really."

"Why would I do that?" Iida asked in confusion, "We are all here to become Heroes, are we not? I believe it is no different for you! I simply wished to know more about a fellow student's quirk."

"Yeah, sorry," Izuku chuckled, Ochako looking between the two of them worriedly.

"Well," she chimed in, suddenly grabbing both of them by the arms, "I guess we're all friends now, right?"

Bakugo glared at the three students as Izuku suddenly blanched, sweat pouring off his face as he began stuttering and stammering at the girl's forward touching.

"Tch," he spat, "Fucking Deku, thinks he can out do me with some bullshit hidden quirk. I'll show him."

"And?"

Izuku and his Sire sat in the older man's apartment, in their usual positions opposite each other, Izuku on the old Victorian styled sofa, while his Sire lounged in his tall wingback chair.

"A-and?" Izuku parroted, startled out of his silence.

"How was your first day?"

"I…uhm, good," Izuku mumbled, "I…uhm…I made some friends."

"That is excellent news," his Sire chuckled, the man lounging back in his chair, watching the teen for a few moments before letting out a sigh, "What happened?"

"They…the class… saw me drink blood," Izuku answered, looking away as he spoke.

"Ah, yes," the older man hummed, "I can see why that may cause you, for lack of a better word, distress."

"Y-yeah."

The two sat in silence for a while, the large grandfather clock in the corner chiming quarter to ten startling the young man out of his thoughts.

"Oh shit! I have to get home! Mom will be worried!"

"Then go," his Sire laughed at the suddenly frantic boy, "We wouldn't want her thinking I was making you do anything, for lack of a better word, untoward, now would we?"

"I AM … COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE NORMAL PERSON!"

"ALL MIGHT!" the class erupted into a frenzy as the no. 1 hero himself entered the room, smiling broadly at them, Izuku nearly passing out at the sight of his Hero.

"I have come to teach you all today! In BATTLE TRAINING!" the massive man laughed at their excitement, slapping a hand against the wall as several hidden shelves slid into view, "But first, your costumes!"

Izuku walked out into the sun, blinking slightly in the bright light.

"They say clothes make the man!" All Might laughed as the students emerged in their costumes, "And today you are all HEROES!"

Izuku looked out over the myriad of costumes that surrounded him, each seeming to have been custom tailored to their wearer. Izuku felt slightly out of place amongst them, looking down at his normal, if smart, clothes.

A dark green dress shirt, sleeves rolled up to just below the elbow, covered by a dark grey waistcoat that clung snugly to his body, showing off his broad shoulders and toned forearms. A pair of tight, well-tailored dress pants covered his legs. The outfit was completed by crimson dress shoes, and a pair of white gloves that he tugged onto his hands. The final piece, a blood red skinny tie, hung loosely from his collar. The outfit had been a gift from his Sire. When he'd shown his mom, she'd said he'd looked as though he was about to sweep some girl off her feet and run off with her into the night. He'd blushed at that but hadn't denied it.

Still, it feels a little weird to be wearing what amounts to dress clothes when everyone else looks so, for lack of a better word, heroic.

Izuku shook his head at the thought, eyes going wide, "Oh gods, it's spreading!"

"What's spreading?" Ochako asked next to him, startling the boy.

"N-nothing!" he blurted, looking down at her tight costume, "N-nice costume!"

"Thanks," she sighed, tugging on the sleeve, "Though I wish they hadn't made it skintight, feels kinda weird."

"It suits the space theme you're going for, Rara," Mina chimed in, appearing beside the two of them, "But doesn't Midoriya look dashing?"

Izuku blushed at her words, looking away as Ochako chuckled.

"Yeah, he does!"

A look flashed across Mina's face as she inspected both teens, a grin forming on her face.

"Now then!" All Might laughed loudly, drawing everyone's attention, "Allow me to explain the rules for today's exercise!"

Izuku shivered as he looked at the building they were about to enter, sucking some of the blood from the medical bag.

"He's going to come straight for me,"

"What makes you say that?" Ochako asked quietly.

"We've known each other a long time," Izuku sighed, "Since we were kids, in fact. I've always admired him, but…"

"Can't you just do the eye thing to him?" Ochako asked.

"No, he'll be expecting it. In fact, he'll probably do everything he can to break line of sight," Izuku mumbled, placing a hand on his chin as he began to mumble, a plan forming in his mind, making Ochako giggle. The sudden shout made them both jump.

"AND BEGIN!"

Izuku sucked down the last of the blood as quickly as he could.

"I'M GOING TO ROAST THAT NERD!" Bakugo growled as he stalked back and forth across the room, Iida hurriedly picking any loose debris up from the ground and zipping off to dispose of it.

"I do not understand your dislike of Midoriya, Bakugo," Iida said calmly as he finished inspecting the now spotless room, "He has a powerful quirk and seems to be a good person."

"BULLSHIT! THE NERD HAS BEEN LOOKING DOWN ON ME OUR WHOLE LIVES!" Bakugo spat, "AND HIDING HIS QUIRK LIKE THAT IS THE LAST FUCKING STRAW!"

"Hiding his quirk? What do you mean by that, Bakugo?" Iida tried to ask, any hope of an answer being cut off by All Might's loud shout.

"AND BEGIN!"

The two students were sneaking quietly through the twisting maze of corridors and rooms that made up the interior of the building, Izuku occasionally pausing as if to listen for something.

"He's coming,"

"How do you know?" Ochako asked quietly as he held up a hand for her to stop.

Ochako didn't have time to react as Izuku suddenly tackled her, throwing both of them to the floor as the explosion engulfed the space above them.

"Uraraka! Run!" Izuku shouted as he jumped to his feet, getting into a combat stance as Bakugo stalked towards him.

"DEKU!" the blond growled, slamming his foot on the ground as he glared at the teen, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU FUCKING NERD!"

"Calm down, Kacchan!" Izuku shouted, trying to lock eye with the other boy, who quickly looked away.

"YOUR EYE THING AIN'T GONNA FUCKING WORK, FUCKING DEKU!"

"It already did," the words surprised Bakugo by how close they were.

A fist slammed into his stomach knocking the breath from his lungs as he doubled over, gasping. Not wasting any time, Izuku clasped his hands over his head and slammed them both down onto the blonde's back, the concrete cracking under the teen as he was driven into the ground. Bakugo gasped as he barely managing to twist his arm around and unleash a powerful blast from his palm, engulfing the other teen in fire and smoke. There was a moment when he thought he won, only to feel a hand grip his wrist and yank him into the air.

"Nice try, Kacchan," Izuku gasped, the light burns on his face already healing, "But you missed."

The two rocketed down the hallway, faster than Bakugo expected as Izuku suddenly stopped in mid-air, twisting his arm to throw Bakugo, launching the blonde into a wall. The concrete cracked and shattered around him, Bakugo coughing up a gout of blood as he felt a rib snap. He managed to stagger forwards, grabbing his side as a sweeping kick knocked his legs out from under him, throwing him back to the floor.

"FUCKING DEKU! I'LL KILL YOU!" he managed to gasp as he felt the gauntlet on his arm pulse, indicating it was ready.

Izuku suddenly chuckled, backing away as the blonde teen staggered to his feet again, raising his grenade like gauntlet. The two stared each other down for a moment, Izuku still grinning as Bakugo scowled at him. Bakugo scowled as he slid the handle back on his gauntlet.

"My explosions were always limited by the amount of sweat I could produce," the blond gave an evil grin, "But these gauntlets collect my sweat, allowing me to release all of it in one giant blast!"

"YOUNG BAKUGO! STOP! THAT ATTACK WILL KILL HIM!" All Might shouted through their earpieces.

"HE'LL SURVIVE IF HE DODGES!" Bakugo spat, sliding a finger through the pin of his gauntlet, "WHAT'S SO FUCKING FUNNY, NERD? READY TO DIE?"

"Oh no, Kacchan," Izuku was laughing now, almost doubling over as he held his stomach, "It's just, well…I don't think you can kill me anymore!"

The explosion engulfed the hallway, filing it from floor to ceiling before anyone could react. Izuku was launched backwards, his entire body burning as the blast tore into his flesh. The blood inside him boiled. Izuku smiled.

"WHAT?!"

The word caught in Bakugo's throat as Izuku leapt forwards out of the explosion, his face and upper body rapidly stitching itself back together as he used the moment of hesitation to land a powerful blow directly into the already staggering blonde's face. A sickening crunch and a spray of blood made it evident that Bakugo's nose was broken. Izuku let out a low gurgling chuckle as he grabbed Bakugo by the arm, the blond crying out in pain as Izuku landed another powerful blow against his chest, cracking another rib. The pain rocketed through Bakugo's body as Izuku slammed his fist into the broken rib again and again, blood bubbling up in his throat as he tried to gasp for air.

"YOUNG MIDORIYA! CEASE YOUR ACTIONS NOW!"

The voice buzzed through their head pieces, Izuku blinking for a moment then immediately backing off, allowing the beaten and bloody Bakugo to collapse onto the ground, hacking up a mouthful of blood.

"Sorry, All Might!" Izuku called, pulling the capture tape out of his pocket, an almost drunken grin on his face, "Got carried away."

"Very well but do try to show some restraint in the future!"

"Will do!"

The barrel of the second gauntlet met his face, knocking Izuku back as Bakugo staggered to his feet, a look of pure rage on his face as he prepared to fire it at point blank range.

"JUST. FUCKING! DIE!"

"HERO'S WIN!"

The two boys froze at the words, staring at each other for a moment in disbelief, before both collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
