Izuku stared up at the now familiar cream-colored ceiling of the nurse's office, sipping on a blood bag as Recovery girl grumbled from her desk in the corner.

Bakugo was still asleep in the bed next to him, surprisingly quiet in unconsciousness as he healed.

"I expected him to snore," Izuku mused, finishing off the blood bag and sitting up in the bed.

"Stay down, boy," Recovery girl sighed, not even looking back at him, "Just because you can heal doesn't mean you can go doing stupid things like that all the time. I mean really, taking an explosion that powerful to the face and coming out almost unscathed? Who even authorized something that powerful for a first year? I'm going to have a talk with Powerloader and Nedzu about this"

Izuku just smiled at her, the old woman giving him a stern look as she went back to her work, and her grumbling. He didn't know why, but after he'd drunk the blood before the test, he'd felt great. As though the world was on his side for once. As though he was untouchable.

"I wonder how Uraraka won," he sighed, looking around the room with a bored expression.

"Actually, I almost lost focus and laughed when I found Iida, he was taking being a villain so seriously," a voice said from the door, making Izuku look over in surprise, staring at the three people who walked in, "But I remembered that you were fighting against Bakugo and I suddenly felt calm. Then I snuck inside the room and managed to touch the bomb before Iida noticed."

"It is regrettable, but true. I lost myself in the moment," Iida sighed, looking down dejectedly for a moment, "But still! It was an excellent display of our quirks!"

"You're just saying that because you got MVP for that match, kero," the frog-like girl, Tsuyu Asui, beside him said plainly, making the taller teen face fault.

"Anyway, we came to see how you were doing," Ochako said hurriedly, her cheeks flushing, "Make sure that you were okay."

"Oh, I'm fine," Izuku chuckled as he held up the empty plastic bag, "I'm just a little worn out. Nothing a little extra blood can't handle."

"Y-yeah," Ochako whispered, looking away.

"Anyway, you have a lot of work to catch up on," Iida added, stepping forwards and handing Izuku a pair of CD cases, "The rest of the fights are recorded on these, there's one for Bakugo as well. Aizawa-sensei wants a full write up from the two of you by tomorrow. As punishment for your actions."

"I'll make sure to do that," Izuku laughed, taking the CDs and placing them on the table beside him, "Thanks."

Izuku sat in his room watching over the fights with his notebook open in front of him. He'd finished the write-up hours ago and was re-watching the videos to get a better understanding of his classmates' quirks.

"Shoto Todoroki…" he mumbled as he scribbled in his book, re-watching the shortest of the videos for the tenth time, "Ice powers originate from his right side…overwhelming power…but he's Endeavour's son, so is that all?"

"Izuku!" his mother called through the door, "It's getting late, sweetheart. Go to bed, you have school tomorrow."

"Okay mom, good night!" Izuku replied as he stretched, closing his laptop and climbing into bed.

The hoard of reporters swarmed around the UA gates, Izuku watching them as they hounded any student that came near, turning away quickly from any that weren't in the Heroics course.

"Dammit," he grumbled, shuddering at the thought of having to push through the crowd, the smell of their blood already reaching him from across the street.

"Hey, you in the Heroics course?" the sudden voice beside him made Izuku jump, spinning to stare at the man leaning casually on the wall beside him.

"Uhm…yes?" Izuku squeaked, unsure of what to do, "C-can I help you?"

The man didn't look much like a reporter, tall and skinny, with a mess of wavy black hair, the fringe parted to one side. His dark blue eyes darted over Izuku, the teen noticing that his left pupil was almost pure white.

"Name's Taneo Tokuda," the man chuckled at Izuku's suspicious stare, "And yes, I am a reporter. Though just not as blood thirsty as that lot."

He nodded towards the crowd, which were currently hounding another student, the sparkles emanating from the center of the crowd meaning it was probably Aoyama.

"S-so what do you want?" Izuku asked slowly, trying to inch away from the man, planning to make a break for the gate and force his way quickly through the crowd.

"Not much," the older man chuckled, pulling a business card from his pocket, and offering it to Izuku, "Just introducing myself. I don't plan on asking you any questions. Not yet anyway. Oh, and don't feel obligated to take the card. Just a formality, you know."

"I…uhm…thank you," Izuku mumbled as he took the slip of paper, shoving it in his blazer pocket, jumping at a sudden grating sound, thick metal plates suddenly sliding into place over the entrance to UA.

"Wow, the infamous UA Barrier!" Taneo laughed, pushing himself up off the wall, "Some idiot must have tried to step through the gate without a pass. You got your student ID card, kid?"

Izuku nodded, reaching for his pocket, before the man held out a hand.

"No need to prove it, just best that you get inside before that lot do anything really stupid!" the man laughed again, turning away and heading off. As he turned back towards the gate, Izuku froze, glancing back at Tokuda. He could have sworn he heard a camera shutter go off, but the man had nothing on him.

Izuku looked around the busy cafeteria, swallowing nervously as he tried to block out the myriad of sounds and smells that were assaulting his senses at the moment. He looked over to Iida, who was still talking animatedly about his family and smiled. He'd managed to become fast friends with the stern boy, and they'd been talking about their motivations for becoming heroes.

"Wow! So, you're Ingenium's younger brother?" Izuku asked excitedly as Iida gave a smug grin, "Are you planning to intern with him later this year?"

"Yes, I am," Iida laughed, a strange act for the usually very serious boy, "I come from a long line of well recognized heroes, so I'll be following in my brother's footsteps."

"That's amazing!" Izuku's eyes were shining with admiration as Iida continued to grin, happy to talk about his brother.

"Wow, calm down you two," Ochako laughed as she ate her lunch, "You're disturbing the other students!"

The alarm caught them off guard, making the entire student body in the cafeteria jump.

"Level three breach! All students please proceed to the evacuation point!"

Iida grabbed a passing third year and asked, "What's a level three?"

"Someone's infiltrated the school grounds," The third year said quickly, "It's never happened before!"

The mass of students suddenly surged, dragging the third year with them as the other three looked around in confusion. Izuku spotted something through the window, recognizing one of the news reporters that had tried to pester him that morning. Turning back to the other two he spoke.

"It's just the media, how'd they get in?"

"I have no idea," Iida stated, looking around as well, "But these students are stampeding, someone is going to get hurt.

Izuku looked at the roiling crowd, nodding in agreement as he tried to figure out some way to get them to calm down. The noise was starting to get to him, the blood in his stomach boiling as the smell of hundreds of panicking students filled his mind. There was too much noise for his to think. He could hear every student's frantic heartbeat, smell their blood rushing through their veins. His fangs felt too large for his mouth, his stomach aching.

"STOP!"

The shout had more force behind it than he'd intended, his blood boiling away as the shouts of the students suddenly fell silent. Izuku looked around in a daze for a few moments, the now familiar feeling of the Hunger building up in his stomach as the world wobbled. Iida stepped forwards as Izuku began to sway, shouting something as the student body seemed to come to, moving more slowly towards the door. Iida turned to him again, a grim look on his face as Izuku felt himself start to fall, Ochako jumping forwards to catch him. The last thing he remembered was her sweet scent.

Izuku stared up at the cream-colored tiles as Recovery Girl scolded him, her shrill voice grating on his ears as he sucked on a blood pack.

"It's barely been a full day and already you're back in here," she grumbled, turning away from him, "With anemia, again."

"Sorry," he sighed, sitting up, "I don't know what happened."

"You used your Influence on a large group of people," his Sire said calmly from beside him, the boy not even jumping as he looked over, "It exhausted your blood reserves."

Izuku looked at the older man in puzzlement for a moment, his large dark cloak still covering his entire body, his hood pulled up to cover his face as it always was when he went outside during the day. The only different thing was the colorful visitor's lanyard that hung from his neck.

"How…?" Izuku started.

"I felt your distress," his Sire replied, "I came as quickly as time would allow."

Izuku just nodded.

"Your abilities are growing faster than I expected," the man continued, "Though that may be due to the fact that UA is providing you with donor blood, rather than animal. We must address this quickly, otherwise we may have another…incident."

"Like what happened to me?" Izuku asked, his voice shaking slightly.

"Yes. Or worse."

"Well," Recovery Girl interrupted, "If it involves the health and well-being of the students, then I best hear about this incident too."

The two looked at her for a moment, then back at each other, a slight grimace on each of their faces.

"Take your costumes, or don't," Aizawa said in his usual tired tone, "They may not be useful for today's exercise."

The class talked animatedly as they hurried out of the classroom, most electing to change. Izuku's previous costume had been all but destroyed, and he hadn't felt like wearing any of the other clothes his Sire had gifted him for his costume today, so he elected to just wear the UA sports uniform. Ochako smiled as he walked out of the changing room, apparently waiting for him, though he didn't miss the slight look of disappointment that flashed across her face as she looked down at his clothes. It took them a few moments to quieten down as Iida directed them onto the bus, the students excited about today's hero lessons. Izuku chatted happily with them as Ochako sat on one side of him, Tsuyu on the other.

"So, what exactly is your quirk, Midoriya? Kero," Tsuyu asked plainly.

"Oh, I'm…uh…I'm basically a Vampire," Izuku replied, quickly rattling off a list before further questions could be asked, "Except I can walk in the sun. And no, I'm not vulnerable to garlic or holy symbols. Running water doesn't seem affect me in any noticeable way. Silver does give me a bit of a rash though. And I'm pretty sure a stake to the heart would kill anyone. No idea about holy water, haven't tested it yet."

"A fellow emissary of darkness," the raven headed boy, Tokoyami, said quietly, making the rest of the class laugh.

"Oh wow, that's pretty cool!" Kirishima, sitting opposite him, chuckled, "Way cooler than my quirk! All I've got is hardening. It's pretty plain."

"No," Izuku chuckled, eye sparkling as he produced one of his notebooks, a regular one this time, flipping open its pages as he began to scribble inside, "I think it's cool. A good quirk for a hero."

"Thanks man," the red head laughed.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Bakugo spat from his seat near the back, "STUPID FUCKING DEKU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A QUIRK GROWING UP!"

"Is that true?" a girl with earphone jacks hanging from her earlobes asked, "How's that work?"

"Oh well…there was an…incident and well…I kind of…died," Izuku chuckled sheepishly, smiling weakly when the class stared at him in shock, "At least, I think I did."

"FEH, CAN'T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT, CAN YOU, FUCKING NERD?" Bakugo countered, glaring at Izuku.

"Bro! That's totally unmanly!" Kirishima shot back, standing from his seat, "You can't just say that kind of thing!"

"Hey, it's kind of expected from him, right?" a blond with a black lightning bolt in his hair laughed, "We've barely known each other for a week and we all already know that Blasty over there has the personality of a flaming dumpster full of shit!"

"FUCK YOU! I'LL KILL YOU!" Bakugo screeched as he jumped forwards, only Aizawa's grunt of irritation from the front of the bus holding him back as the class quietened back down.

Izuku smiled slightly, talking quietly to Uraraka and Asui. He shifted slightly in his seat, Uraraka seeming to be pressed quite close against him. He blinked as she shifted as well, moving closer even as he tried to back away.

"Midoriya," Asui said, prodding him in the side with a finger, "You're almost sitting on top of me."

"Oh! S-sorry, Asui!" Izuku stammered as he pushed Uraraka back so he could sit more comfortably in his seat, "I…uh…I wasn't paying attention."

"It's alright. And call me Tsu."

Izuku was near vibrating in excitement, Uraraka beside him just as excited as they listened to the rescue Hero Thirteen explain the Unforeseen Simulation Joint to the class. He paused when Thirteen turned to Aizawa after the talk, seeming to whisper something and holding up three fingers, the man scowling.

A soft buzzing filled his ears, making Izuku blink as he looked for the source, his eyes locking on to the growing ball of dark mist in the middle of the clearing in the center of the building.

"Uh, sensei? Is this part of the lesson?" Kirishima asked as the class watched the ball of mist grow, several figures strolling almost casually out of it.

"No," Aizawa growled, pulling his goggles up over his eyes as more people emerged from the mist, "Those are real Villains. Thirteen, protect the kids, Kaminari, try to use your quirk to contact the outside!"

"Sensei! You can't mean to fight them all?" Izuku gasped as the older man glanced over at him, "Your fighting style relies on stealth and-,"

"A Hero can't be a one trick pony, Midoriya," the teacher chuckled, giving the teen a jaunty grin before launching himself down the stairs.

"Greetings, future Heroes," no sooner had he left than a sinister voice echoed in the air behind the group, the class turning to see the dark cloud forming behind them, "My name is Kurogiri, and we are the League of Villains. We have come to kill All Might. Might I ask where he is?"

"FUCKING DIE!"

Bakugo screamed as he launched himself directly at the Villain, Kirishima just behind him. The two vanished as the villain shifted, engulfing them in dark mist.

"My, that was close," the mist villain chuckled, turning bac to the frightened group, "Any last words?"

"I will stop you, villain!" Thirteen shouted, one of the caps of their glove popping open as they began to suck the villain in.

"I can't allow that," Kurogiri growled, a portal opening behind the rescue hero as they screamed, the back of their suit shredding apart as their own quirk was used against them, "As for the rest of you…"

The black mist enveloped them, Izuku gasping as the world went dark. Truly dark. Even with his night vision he couldn't see anything, his heart starting to pump rapidly as he looked around frantically. The light was blinding the moment it appeared, making the teen cry out as he slammed heavily against the surface of the water, half blinded. He felt the water enter his mouth as his breath was knocked out of him, flooding into his lungs as he instinctively took a breath.

"Got you, little Hero!" the voice echoed around him, making Izuku look around frantically, eyes falling on the approaching shark like villain, his jaws open wide.

Izuku blinked. The villain was thrown aside as Asui slammed into his head, her long tongue shooting out and wrapping around Izuku's waist as she shot out of the water, dragging him with her.

"Are you okay, kero?" she asked as she dropped him on a boat, the teen gasping as he hacked up a lungful of water.

"I…I think so…" he gasped, more water bubbling out of his lungs as he was amazed that he wasn't more out of breath, "Just got to-."

He was cut off as he retched, thick foam shooting from his throat as his body expelled the water in his lungs. The other two watched worriedly as he gasped, wiping his mouth on the back of his hand.

"That was a lot of water," Asui hummed, placing a finger to her chin, "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah…yeah, I'm fine now," Izuku coughed slightly, looking at the other two, Asui and Mineta, the latter seeming to be freaking out against the cabin of the boat, watching him back.

"What are we going to do?" Mineta sobbed, yanking one of the balls off his head and biting into it, "They said they were here to kill All Might! All Might! We have no chance!"

"Are you sure being a Hero is what you really want, kero?" Asui asked bluntly, making Mineta freeze for a moment before continuing to sob.

"We…we may have a way out," Izuku hummed as he glanced over the edge of the boat, the villains gathered in the water all chatting casually as they circled around it, "But it's going to leave me exhausted."

"Then do it!" Mineta shrieked, hopping rapidly up and down, "If it can save us stop waiting around and do it!"

"But it'll make him a liability, kero," Asui cut the purple-haired teen off, "Midoriya is worried that it'll put us in more danger."

"Exactly," Izuku sighed, "But right now, we don't really have much choice. Can you carry me, Asui?"

"Yes, you aren't that heavy," the frog girl nodded, "And call me Tsu."

Izuku nodded as he got to his feet, looking out over the water as the villains below looked up at him, many grinning evilly and throwing insults and curses. Taking a deep breath, Izuku remembered the feeling of the cafeteria, the sensation of the power he had used then. And he shouted.

"LEAVE!"

Izuku felt the blood inside him boil as the villains turned away, their faces going slack as he collapsed onto the boat.

"Midoriya, are you okay? Kero," Tsuyu asked him, placing a hand on his back.

"Yeah, I just used too much blood, Asui," he gasped, feeling her pull his arm around her shoulders.

"Come on, you dealt with the villains, let's get somewhere safe, kero," she said in a soothing voice, "And call me Tsu."

The world was swimming for Izuku as the man's hand closed over Tsuyu's face, the image of her head crumbling before him flashing through his mind. He reacted.

Blood filled his mouth, it's taste dry and harsh as he heard someone cry out, wrenching the limb from his jaws with surprising strength. The feeling of power rushed through him, though it was hardly enough to do much. He slammed a fist into the man's chest, driving him back.

"Midoriya!" Tsuyu cried out as the teen collapsed back into the water, the little blood he'd gotten already used up.

"N-need more…" he managed to splutter, looking up at the frog girl, her black eyes going soft as she looked back down at him.

"Then use mine, kero," she said, pulling her sleeve up and presenting her arm.

"The fuck is this kinky crap you're doing?" he heard Mineta screech as he bit down into her soft flesh, the taste of her blood washing the villain's out of his mouth. It was a sharp, slightly bitter taste, almost like a refreshing herbal tea. He could feel his strength returning, boiling up inside him as he drank deeply.

"Nomu, kill them!"

The beast was on them in a second, it's fist slamming into the water a moment later. Izuku watched as the waves splashed against the edge of the pool, landing deftly behind the creature, dropping both Tsuyu and Mineta to the floor.

"The fuck?" he heard the hand covered villain say, "You can fly?"

Izuku had no time to react, as the Nomu was on him again, raising its massive fist to crush him. Without thinking, Izuku threw up his hand, the image of Tsuyu rushing to his mind. He felt the blood boil inside him, the energy gathering on his palm, building as the beast's fist began its strangely slow descent. The spike of blood erupted from his skin, piercing the creature straight through the skull. It gave a strange wailing groan as Izuku pushed more blood into the tendril, crimson spikes erupting out of the nomu's exposed brain, the monstrosity's arms falling lax at its sides as it let out a final groan.

"What?" the villain gasped, "You…you KILLED IT?! HOW?!"

"Yeah, I did," Izuku chuckled, the familiar feeling of confidence and euphoria washing through him as he let the blood spike splash onto the floor, mixing with the creature's own dark pooling blood, "Guess I'm just a bigger monster than your little toy, aren't I? Scared yet?"

"You…you…you've ruined my plan! I'll kill you! I'll kill you all!" the man shrieked as he leapt forwards, just barely dodging out of the way of the tendril of blood as it stabbed down into the concrete.

He tried to step forwards again, letting out a harsh cry as he looked down at his leg. Several more spikes had shot from the side of the tendril, piercing through his calf. He swiped at the spikes with his hand, blinking in surprise as they seemed to melt at his touch, the blood splashing to the floor. Glaring at Izuku, he jumped back, staggering slightly on his injured leg as a small cloud of dark mist appeared behind him.

"Shigaraki," the mist villain said as he formed beside the man, being cut off before he could finish speaking, "One of the students managed to-,"

"Kurogiri!" Shigaraki shrieked, "Get us out of here! That brat killed the Nomu! We can't face All Might without it!"

Kurogiri seemed surprised for a moment, before nodding, the black mist enveloped them both as the pale-haired villain glared at Izuku.

"I'll kill you; you hear me! I'll kill you for ruining my plan!"

"I'm not sure if you can!" Izuku shouted back as the mist vanished, letting a deep throaty laugh echo through his chest as he stood over the corpse of the nomu, "I'm not sure anyone can!"

His breath caught in his throat. Izuku's head turned slowly to stare at Aizawa, the man barely conscious even as his hair floated around his bloodied head, a single point of red glowing in the shadows.

The world went dark.

"Blood drunk?" Izuku asked as his sire poured him another glass.

"Yes," the older man said plainly, "Drinking too much blood at once can make you blood drunk. You become more powerful, more confident, but let it overwhelm you and you become, for lack of a better word, sloppy."

"Oh,"

Izuku had just finished recounting what had happened at the USJ to his Sire as they sat in the Nurse's Office, Recovery Girl listening in on their conversation, no emotion showing on his Sire's pale face.

"But that is fine for now," he sighed, sitting back in his chair, "You have acquired a second power, Blood Control, or at least something like it."

"Third power," Izuku corrected, drawing a raised eyebrow form his Sire, "I drank the blood of the disintegration guy as well."

"And what did he give you?"

"This," Izuku held up his hand, the limb crumbling suddenly, a cloud of ash flying around the room before regathering into his arm, "Though I can only do one hand at the moment."

"Hmm, quite similar to Mist Form, shall we call it Ash Form?" his Sire mused, rubbing his chin, "Very good."

"Isn't it dangerous though?" Izuku asked worriedly, "Won't I have to drink his blood again to make the power stronger?"

"Not necessarily," his sire laughed, "Any and all blood you drink will enhance your abilities slowly over time, though drinking the blood of those whom granted you your gifts will most definitely enhance the powers they have granted you more quickly."

"Are…are you telling me to drink the blood of my classmates?" Izuku flinched as Recovery Girl whipped around, glaring at the pair of them.

"Only if they consent," the man said sternly, "Only if they consent."

Izuku's stomach growled. He could smell the blood of his teacher even as the bandaged man explained to them about the up coming sports festival, his face completely hidden behind thick swathes of fabric. It was making the teen's Hunger grow.

"Midoriya," the barked word made him sit up straight, staring at the older man in surprise, "What's wrong?"

"Oh! Uhm…I…uhm," Izuku could feel Aizawa's tired stare boring into him even through the bandages, it reminded him of the look his Sire gave him when Izuku was trying to hide something. Letting out a low sigh, he answered, "S-sorry Sensei, I can…smell the blood from your wounds. It's…it's causing my quirk to react."

"Ah," Aizawa mumbled, stepping back slightly as he spoke softly, "I apologize. I'll organize for a substitute to take your homeroom classes until I've healed more from tomorrow, then. Please put up with it for the rest of the lesson, then go see Recovery Girl."

"Y-yes, Sensei," Izuku muttered as he felt his cheeks flush, the rest of the class stealing glances at him.

"Other than that, I was going to take you for Heroics this afternoon, but I'll organize for your class to join 1-B for a sparing session instead," Aizawa said flatly, already walking towards the door, "It's about time the two classes met. Keeping you so separate, especially before the sports festival, is just illogical."

"H-here!"

Ochako watched as Izuku just stared at her, her arm extended out in front of him. They were sitting on the roof, where Izuku usually ate his lunch, claiming the cafeteria was too crowded for him.

"What?" the green-haired boy asked.

"Y-you haven't had any blood since after Homeroom today, r-right?" she stuttered, blushing as she looked away, "You can have s-some of mine."

She watched as he eyed her arm hungrily for a moment, before dragging his gaze away.

"Sorry, I don't think that's a good idea," he said quietly, "I don't want to make you ill for afternoon classes."

"It's okay! You won't take too much! I trust you!" Ochako blurted out, her face flushing more as she spoke.

"Are…are you sure?" Izuku asked again, the girl nodding enthusiastically, "Okay then."

He gazed into her eyes for a moment, the same sense of calm she'd felt during the entrance exam washing over her as he lowered his mouth to her arm. There was a slight prick, then the sound of Izuku swallowing, a sense of pleasure running up Ochako's arm as he drank. She watched, transfixed as he sucked out her blood, his gulps becoming quicker as she began to feel lightheaded.

"That's enough!" he said, pulling back suddenly, almost as though he was telling himself instead of her. She felt almost bad that he'd stopped, the pleasant feeling fading almost as quickly as it had come.

"Oh," a voice called out, startling them both, "I was too late, kero?"

"So, this is the vaunted 1-A?" a nasally voice called out as Izuku and his classmates walked into the gym, looking around at the facilities in wonder, "Did they really survive a villain attack? They look so amazed by just a simple dojo!"

"Monoma," Sekijiro Kan, 1-B's Homeroom teacher sighed, "Quiet down. You know as well as I do that all the teachers have different training styles. This is just the first time they've used this building."

"Yes, Sensei," The blond pouted slightly, giving a slight smirk as he continued to eye up the other class.

"All right!" Vlad King shouted as they two classes lined up in front of him, "Today we'll be doing round-robin spars! Quirks are allowed, as we are trying to find a suitable style of combat that will mesh well with them, but don't go overboard."

He shot Bakugo a pointed look as he spoke, the explosive blond just scowling back.

"Anyone here have prior experience in martial arts?"

The classes looked around, most of 1-A nodded when Ojiro raised his hand, several rasing an eyebrow in surprise as both Izuku and Todoroki also raised theirs. A plain faced dark-haired boy from 1-B also raised his hand.

"Right, and how much experience do you each have?" the teacher asked.

"I've been training since I was young," Ojiro hummed, giving a shy grin as he scratched his cheek, "It compliments my quirk so…"

"I've been…trained since childhood as well," Todoroki almost spat the word, looking away as Vlad King raised an eyebrow.

"I started Karate last year, in preparation for coming to UA," the 1-B boy called out.

"My…trainer…has been teaching me a variety of basic martial arts styles for about the last ten months," Izuku mumbled, glancing over at his friends, Ochako and Tsuyu smiling at him, Iida just giving him a curt nod. Bakugo stared furiously from behind them, his mouth twisted into a grimace of rage.

"Right then, Kaibara and Midoriya will spar first, as a demonstration. So, no quirks," Vlad King called, shooting the dark-haired boy a look as he spoke, "It'll be a good learning opportunity for the lot of you, as they probably won't try anything too fancy. You hear me, Kaibara?"

"Yes, Sensei!" Kaibara called as he jogged towards the mats, Izuku following close behind.

"Sup, I'm Sen Kaibara," he introduced himself as they took their positions opposite each other, "Nice to meet you!"

"L-likewise," Izuku smiled as he shook his arms out, letting his body go lax as Sen got into a ready stance, "Izuku Midoriya."

Basic Karate stance, Izuku thought as he watched the other teen, what should my strategy be?

"Ready? Begin!" Vlad King shouted as Sen leapt forwards at the still relaxed Izuku.

The two classes blinked in surprise as Izuku shifted, his body sliding into a near identical stance to Sen's just before the 1-B student reached him, copying his punch movement for movement as their fists collided. The dark-haired boy hissed as he jumped back, shaking his hand out before jumping back in. A kick was matched with an identical kick, a right hook mirrored as fist met fist again, the two dancing around each other as Izuku seemed to copy every move his opponent made. Suddenly, the green-haired boy shifted, his stance changing an instant before Kaibara attacked again, a kick slamming into his opponent's gut sending him flying backwards out of the designated area.

"End!" Vlad King barked, walking over to check on Kaibara as he looked over at Izuku, "Midoriya, what was all that?"

"Oh! Uhm, my…my trainer taught me that a good way to throw off your opponents was to emulate their style, get them into a particular rhythm, then change style to defeat them," Izuku answered, "I'm sorry if that was wrong, I just-!"

"It's fine!" the bulky man laughed, startling the teen, "It's a valid tactic, and seems to suit your quirk. Though be aware that it won't always work. How many styles of martial arts has this trainer of yours taught you so far?"

"Uhm… Well, we haven't focused on any one style, just the basic kata and some movements, so around thirty?"

The room went silent. Vlad stared at the teen for a moment as he helped Kaibara back to his feet.

"I'm sorry Midoriya," Ojiro suddenly spoke, making everyone look at him as he strode forwards, "But those were not the movements of someone whose only had ten months of training in one type of martial arts, let alone thirty! Also, that last move, the kick, where did you learn it?"

"What? I…uhm…I guess I'm just a quick study? And I learnt it from my Si-, I mean my trainer," Izuku spluttered, backing away slightly as Ojiro walked towards him, "I'm sorry if I offended you!"

"Enough!" Vlad King shouted, making the students jump, "Let's get on with the sparring, you can talk about this after the class is over."

"Yes, Sensei!" the students called as the split into pairs.

"Bakugo, swap with Monoma," Kan called as the blond stalked towards his next opponent, a grimace on his face as he glared at Izuku, "I heard about the incident during the first Hero training exercise. You're not allowed to fight Midoriya until whatever is going on between you is sorted out."

"WHAT?" Bakugo growled, glaring at the teacher as the other blond strode confidently past him, slamming into his shoulder, making the angry teen growl, "Fucking weak ass Deku, getting other people to help him run away. Just like fucking always."

"Greetings 1-A student, I am Neito Monoma," the blond chuckled as he stood in front of Izuku, "I hope we can have a good match today."

"Izuku Midoriya," Izuku smiled back, his eyes scanning over the blonde's face, "Likewise."

Smile didn't reach his eyes. Gaze darted down and to the left. He's lying, Izuku thought, biting his lip slightly to keep from muttering, a habit not even his Sire had managed to rid him of, Also, he purposefully touched Kacchan's arm when he walked past. Why? Was it for his quirk? What is it?

"Ready?" Vlad King called as the students got into position, "Begin!"

The explosion surprised Izuku as Monoma darted forwards, his palm aimed directly at Izuku's face. The blast wasn't particularly strong, but the smoke obscured his vision just long enough for him to feel a hand grab his wrist, the grip suddenly tightening as his opponent gave a low groan. Jumping back, he was jerked to a halt as Monoma's face shot forwards, something strange in the blonde's eyes. Something bestial. Something wild.

Something Hungry.

Izuku let out a low guttural growl, instinct roaring in the back of his mind. The person in front of him was the same as him. They were invading his territory. They were going to steal his prey. It was an enemy. There was a sickening crack as Izuku felt his wrist get crushed, the vampire opposite him letting out a piercing wail as it swung it's head down towards his neck. It hadn't fed for a long time. If ever. Its Hunger had overtaken its mind. It was going Feral. It was going to kill him.

It had to die.

Izuku's hand slammed into the solid wall, shattering through the bright red crystal with ease as his target was whipped away from him, almost tearing his hand from his wrist. The scent of blood filled his nose as the wall suddenly liquified, enveloping him and hardening once again.

"Midoriya! Monoma! Stop!" he heard someone shouting, Izuku feeling the crystal begin to give as he fought against it.

Something was shoved into his snapping jaws, a slight gasp of pain reaching his ears before a familiar taste filled his mouth. He blinked, looking up at Ochako as she cooed quietly to him, her arm between his fangs as she pressed his head to her chest. Behind her he could see Tsuyu already standing between him and Monoma, who was still trying to claw his way out of Vlad King's crystalized blood.

"Give him blood!" Izuku managed to shout as he pulled away, spraying blood from his mouth, "My quirk needs blood!"

Vlad King glanced over at the no longer fighting teen, his head snapping back to his own student as the blond ripped one of his arms free. Grimacing, he sent a wave of blood up over Monoma's head and into his mouth, the boy spasming for a moment, before falling still.

"What was that?" someone shouted as Vlad King rushed Monoma out of the room, "Why'd they suddenly start trying to kill each other?"

"He can copy quirks, can't he?" Izuku growled as he staggered to his feet, released from Vlad King's quirk, gently pushing a fussing Ochako and Tsuyu away.

"Yeah," a girl, her bright red hair pulled into a short side pony said as she cautiously approached the three, Izuku sitting heavily on a bench at the far end as he wiped some blood off his chin, inspecting his almost completely healed wrist, the last of the bruises already fading, "What does that have to do with anything?"

"I'm a Vampire," Izuku sighed, leaning against the cool wall as he took deep slow breaths. He could still feel Monoma, though the sensation was fading, "We're territorial."

"What?"

"His quirk makes him like a Vampire," Yaoyorozu explained as she approached, "According to legend, they are usually solitary mons-, sorry, creatures, that feed on the blood of others to empower themselves."

"Woah, I mean we knew that already, but that was some real Bram Stoker type shit, Midoriya," Kaminari laughed as he strolled up, "So like, your Vampire instincts went wild , right? Is that why Uraraka and Asui are so into you? You building a Vampire harem or something?"

"NO!" Izuku shrieked as he jumped up, staring at the grinning blond in shock, "N-no! I'm not making anyone into a harem! I swear!"

He looked around at the staring students, his cheeks flushing at the suspicious glares of most of the girls.

"I'm not doing it on purpose! I swear!"
