Noctis felt sore as he ploped his rear onto the bed watching the empty room it had been a few hours of dance trianing Noctis could not think of a better name for it then training . Closing his eye's Noctis felt out for the rage and hate looking for the one's that he kept feeling it before , His eyes snap open as he locks on to the feelings and stands changing from his school unform into his black robes and stepping into the bathroom and turning the lights off inside fading into shadows moving throught them briefly seeing into team RBWYS room they where talking about the vytal festival before moving along the shadows agian , it felt good to be using this power it was the only one that was truly his a remment from his home world . Sliding into the shadow of a bed Noctis could see a boy with grey hair and eyes talking to a girl with greenish hair .
" come on Emerald why dont we go into town and have some fun the dance is going to be borning and..." Mercury spoke to the girl Emerald Noctis now knew as he watched from the dark void under the bed it looked like Emerald had been about to reply when the third member of their team walked in making both look to the door as she spoke as she walked in " The plan will only work if i have you both keeping a watch in the dance for me you dont want to disapoint the ladys do you mercury " the voice was smothe it had a tease to it Noctis remembers hearing this voice before in the halls once as he walked around with ruby once . " ohh come on Cinder this job is so easy they dont even suspect us why not let us have some time to ou-" Emerald was cut off but a look from Cinder as she walked over sitting on the far bed looking at the two her legs half blocking Noctis' view but he could still hear fine so he did not care . " Listen the plan will only work if you both do as your told stick to the plan Emerald, Mercury you both knew we can not fail her we will have the fall maidens power and Beacon will fall ..do.. you ..understand " Both nodded mumbled their understanding as Noctis left the room now knowing that it was more then just simple petty teenage hate something he hoped he could fix by befriending the group know he knew better .
Once back in the bathroom of his room he stepped out just as the rest of his team stepped into the room . They all looked at Noctis as he walked out of the bathroom in his combat geat they all had nice clothes ont he women wearing dress's the men wearing suits , Jaune raised an eyebrown and pointed over to the bed where a suit lay , Noctis thought it was ment for one of the others but now he see's it was left for him every member of his team arms crossed tapping a foot in perfect time with eachother and Noctis hung his head sighing grabbing the suit from the bed and walking back into the bathroom to change . Shortly returning desssed in the black suit and a red tie to match his eyes tugging on it lightly to loosen it abit Noctis held his arms out " well how do i look..cuz i feel silly looking" Noctis had a half smile trying to play it cool but wanting more then anything to rush off to the headmaster to tell him what he heard . He did not want to tell his team and ruin their night they worked really hard and have earned this night of fun .
Some time later the dance was going off with out any problems , thought Noctis kept an eye out for three people knowing they would do somthing tonight . But right now he was standing next to the punch bowl. Noctis smiled as he saw The headmaster and Miss goodwitch walk in nearly dropping his cup as he set it ont he table walking past Ruby as she greated him but he only mumbled a wave as he pushed past to Ozbin . Ozbin saw this and rasied an eyebrow as he watched Noctis move with a purpose to him greating him " hello Noctis how go- " Noctis held up a hand rudly to Ozbin making a sharp "shh" Glinda looking at him abit shocked and getting ready to give him a peace of her mind when Noctis spoke soflty so they could hear " the fall maid is in danger "
Both Ozbin and Glinda looked at Noctis with sharp hard eyes Glinda looking to Ozbin as he sipped from his mug" why sure Noctis we can talk about extra work outside of school come come " Ozbin making a small show for anyone listen as he did this a man Noctis had not met befor walked over and was about to ask Glinda to dance but she looked at him and blunlty " we have work to do you should come along as well General Ironwood " He looked puzzled but nodded as the four of them left the dance hall and made their way to Ozbin's office Noctis had to take a few small breaths to calm him self guessing this maiden must be a big deal bigger then he thought .
It was a short time later they all stood in Ozbins office , Ozbin sat at his desk Glinda did not waste time as soon as the doors closed General Ironwood standing near Ozbin when Glinda spoke out pointing her whip at Notcis ." How do you know about the maiden and what danger is she in! " her voice was stern angry even as Ironwood looked at Noctis his hand setting on his hip gripping his gun . Ozbin rasied his hand to stop his friends as he looked at Noctis . " yes do tell us my young friend what do you knew " his voice was soft and friendly but his eyes burned abit with passion . Noctis gulps and sighs hanging his head as he lets all the stress of his body out looking back up at them look from each ones eyes meeting and holding them for a second . " I'm not going to lie to anyone in this room , Not at this moment ." Noctis walked over to the couch in the far side of the room Ironwood turning to keeping himself facing him turning with each step Noctis took Glinda trusting Ozbin and taking a less hostil stance but still watching close.
" I'm...not Qrows son...i lied about having a huntsmen as a father in fact ...im older then anyone in this room ..yes even you Ozbin " Noctis words felt heavy in his mouth as he could feel the uneasy each felt and the disbeleaf from them as well . There was a small moment when no one spoke before Noctis stood and rubbed his face " I'v not told many this in my time ...but.." Noctis looked up and counted mouthing soflty before sighing " Its been 532,100 years sesne i was ..cursed by a group of gods and sent on my ...journey " Eveyone in the room froze as Noctis told them this the cup in Ozbins hands nearly slipping hearing this he could not beleive it but he felt that Noctis was telling the truth . Ironwood had sweat driping down his neck as he looked at Ozbin " What does he mean i thought only you and..." Ironwood was not able to speak taking a seat leaning on Ozbins desk deep in thought if what Noctis said was true then it changed alot of things .
Ozbin spoke slowly " if ..IF what you say is true then..how and what journey and for what reason ..and how would you know my age hm? " Noctis looked at him holding his eyes the two staing looking for something before Noctis spoke " its more that your soul..is older then the other..inside you " At this Ozbin smiled soflty and nodded chuckling soflty before sighing and looking at Ironwood and smiling " dont worry friend this ..well not young man but Noctis is a friend im sure he had reasons for lieing but he's speaking the truth " Ironwood nodded and crossed his arms walking over to Noctis slowly staring down at him and the wolf ears " how...what are you then " Ironwood voiced as he looked abit more calm . " well uh..oh boy this is going to be a pain to explain " Noctis walked over to Ozbins desk and starts to explain about all the place's he has been and how he came to be here . Explaining more that he own home world is gone the gods whipped it out for his people playing with fate to loosely and he was choosen at random and cursed with an unaging body and how he gains powers from each world he has gone to and come from thought it this was the first time he gained a body part .
After Noctis let out a breath sitting back looking up never having told his whole story before he felt..realved as he sat up straight in the chair before he eye's widen " Cinder and her group are here to steal the maidens power! thats what i wanted to tell you i forgot in the heat of the moment" as he shouted this a explosin could be heard as the tower out of Ozbins office flashs and the widows get blown out and cracked . "fuck me " Noctis shouted loudly
