Time felt it was at a stand still Noctis felt the power humming in the air as he walked around the Comroom ruby sitting near by talking to iroonwood and Ozbin other Atlis soldeirs checking the room for any clues as to who may have done it . " This is my fault i should have spoken up sooner " Noctis say slamming his hand down on one of the near by desks bending the metal and cracking the glass like display everyone in the room snapping their heads to look at him as he turned walking over to the widow looking down at the dance " She's down there right now " He shouted pointing Ozbin walked over looking to the dance hall and nodding speaking soflty" Her name is Cinder yes? " Ozbin said before talking a sip from his mug . Ironwood Orderd his men to bring of any file they have on a women Name Cinder , Ruby hearing the name got up and walked over to Ozbin , " Sir is Cinder really the one that did this i mean..that would mean she was the same women working with that theif before " Glinda who was uptill now looking for clues and making small repairs turned nerrowing her eyes " that women with the dust infursed into her clothes .." Glinda voiced over to The others and Ozbin nodded and looked to at Notcis who was shaking his fist so tightly gripped that it was white " i made a promis to tai xiao long to keep ruby safe and nearly failed she could have been killed..." ruby blinks not knowing her dad asked him that and walked over hugging him " it's fine Noctis family looks out for eachother " Ruby said and smiled at him but he was told by OZbin to keep lieing and saying he was Qrows son so for now he playyed along but looked over to Glinda who was in deep thought behind ruby.
" Ruby i need to talk to pyrrha ...is she at the dance? " Nocits pulled out of the hug bearly returning it as he stepped away Pyrrha had been the one to unlock Jaunes Aura so if Notcis had one he needed it now . " yeah she should be but wh- " Ruby was cut off with a bursting sound as Noctis disapeard from view sense one of the widows had been broken during their fight he had a streight line to the dance hall . Landing out of view of anyone he walked in looking around spoting Pyrrha walking over and grabbing her hand as she and Jaune looked abit shocked at him both asking where he had been but he shook his head " Pyrrha i need you to unlock my Aura now " Noctis tone was hard much more then it had ever been with his teamates before Pyrrha was shocked by this and nodded and Jaune nodded as well both leading Noctis back outside and around to the side of the hall . Jaune asking " you are like me then got in with out an arua crazzy huh " Noctis did not asnwer but looked away as Pyrrha put a hand on Jaunes shoulder " maybe i should do this alone Jaune can you go back inside " Pyrrhas voice was firm but kind as she smiled at jaune who nodded and patted her arm and Noctis on the back " good luck guys " and Jaune turned heading back inside .
Pyrrha looked at Noctis and smiling soflty put her hands on his back " im going to push my aura into you and force your to awaken okay Noctis " Pyrrha smiled and started doing as she said her Aura flooding into her hands then into Noctis who braced himself for it but as he felt it happening something inside him snapped like a chain brakeing and his eyes went dark the last thing her heard was Pyrrha gasping "NOCTIS!" before nothingness .
" Do you hear me know partner of soul"A booming voice forced Noctis eyes open into a large space at first he tought it was his pocket void but when he noticed buildings and trees he was sure it was not the same place . " where...WHO'S THERE! " Noctis shouted the ground was black and the threes white the buildings a dull gray as Noctis looked around he saw a shape sitting on one of the buildings massive nearly crushing it from the cracks that apreard along the builds surface. Noctis was at a lost for words the beast that sat on the roof looks like a hallow the light from the mood shining around the form a massive hole in the middle of its chest . The beast had a human like body two arms two legs it was thing but for its overall size that did not matter it looked to stand 25 feet tall its head was a mask twisted and drinking black like goo it had wilded eye's around its hands were massive chains that looked broken with a few feet of chain hanging from its wrists like a massive oni that was what Noctis thought .
"Your see me , but know my POWER!" The beast roared out the force of its voice sending winds out knocking over and uprooting trees Noctis himself bearly holding his ground he cant feel his other powers just his soulreaper ones it was an odd feeling . As the beast Jumped from the building bringing its massive fist down Noctis bearly jumping back out of the way the ground spliting fromt he force of the inpact sweat running down Noctis' body " why is a hollow here i thou-" Noctis was cut off by a roar just as loud and strong as the first one Noctis turning and running cold numbness filling his body as blood spurted from his nose and ears as he stubled choking abit . "gruh fuck you " it was choked and weak but Noctis still tryed to push himself to his feet as he fell to his knees .
" Grhahaha! your weak and i'll have this body " the beast reaching for Noctis inchs from grabing his prone body before stopping a voice ripping throught the air "Hold " this voice was strong and made the beast freeze and look up before snorting and turning away each step a load thunder untill it was gone from Noctis' view thought that its self was fading as he fell forward .
Noctis' eyes flicked open he body sore and cold he blinked a few times the bright lights overhead making her confused he was outside at night why is there light he thought as he sat up looking around a medical room seeing Pyrrha sitting in a chair at the far end of the room se was wearing her normal school unfirom which ment the dance was over..had he passed out ..what was that he saw was it real . Noctis rolled out of bed and a sword tumbed to the ground ..not the sword he had made forhimself but a new one it was long and thin no scaberd the blade was pure black with cracks of orange the helt was simple but had flames craved into it the wrap was black and the flames under the wraps the same bright Orange . "w..what " his voice was weak but it still woke Pyrrha who jumped up seeing him standing with fresh blood leaking from his ears he had not even noticed he was still numb all over " NOCTIS! " she shouted which brought in the rest of his team to see him standing the sword on the floor going unnoticed for now. The whole team Rushed him and hugged him Nora picking the group up in a bear hug Noctis grunting as eveyone was asking how he felt and if he rememberd what happended but it was all sound as Noctis looked past them seeing a man standing in the corner looking at him he had a mask it was wolf shaped with black thick lines running down from the ears and in a single blink the man was gone but Noctis knew it had to be his soulreaper powers . "guys guys im fine please what happened? how long have i been asleep " Jaune spoke up first as ren took and helped pyrrha out with nora as Jaune sighed " you have been out for five days nearly we where worryed like crazy and pyrrha has bearly left your side she felt like it was her fault for you uh..suddenly bursting blood and passing out " Jaune rubbed his neck as Noctis sat back on the bed rubbing the dry blood from his ear abit " I..see t..tell her its not her fault please..and can you get Ozbin..i need to talk to him " Laying back down Noctis felt his body shaking a cold sweat coming on as he panted . Jaune nodded and left the room bumping nearly into said man as Ozbin had heard from a loud nora that Noctis was awake nodding to Jaune as he told him that Noctied wanted to see him before being shooed away by Ozbin who closed and locked the door behind himself " so Noctis im glad to see your awake ...we tryed to bring in Cinder if thats what your worryed about but she feld with her friends when Ironwood sent in his troops " Ozbin sat in the chair pyrrha had been using and sipped from his drink . Noctis layed there taking the info in and nodded sighing covering his face with his arm " i rushde it...i pushed to hard and messed up " his voiced was horse so Ozbin poored him some water walking over handing it to Noctis who took it sipping it nodding his thanks as Ozbin sat back down. " so what happend to you we felt ..presser a few other students passed out as well ..well..thats besides the point they are fine but you..you did it am i wrong? " Ozbins last words had a small bite to them sesne Noctis did in a way put the students at risk thought it was clear to Ozbin he did not mean for it to happen " ..ozbin im sorry i..i messed up so much more then you could know.." Ozbin raised an eyebrow sipping waiting not speakign seeming to wait for Noctis to go on so he gulped and spoke " i told you about the soul reapers ..the reason i can move so fast and ..stand in the air..but i did not tell you everything ..but i did not even know i had ..them " sighing Noctis rubbed his face " in that world the grimreapers i guess would make more sesne to use that term..they had weapons that held parts of their souls and gave them power..some evil man forced something called hallowfastion on some of the soulreapers and they gained hollow powers ..he was delt with by a good friend of mine but..i guess im like they where ..a soulreaper with a hollow .." Ozbin nodding and sipping still . "but what is a hollow you never explained that part " Noctis nodded and tented his fingers as he thought how to word it "...they are like grim kind of..beasts of hunger that feed on the living..human souls twisted by hate rage and sin into monsters..." Ozbin tighten his hand around his cup asking" and you have one inside you now? should we be worried lock you away or something" the tone was joking but his eyes held hard truth behind them . Noctis shook his head" well its not that a monster possed me just..my own ..a part of my soul hollowfied i guess but its okay i can tame it ..i hope but if not...it wont matter no one would be able to stop it " Noctis's tone helf so much fear it made Ozbin worry if grim would attack " Noctis please calm yourself you may bring grimm down on us as well " he sipped from his cup standing and putting a hand on Noctis shoulder which seem to help abit as Noctis took a few deep breaths looking up at Ozbin who's eye's widen as he looked into Noctis' eyes his left eye had black over taking it the red of his eyes turning a light Orange but as Noctis blinked it went back to normal .Ozbin smiled and noticed something esle the sword on the ground and bent over grabing it shocked at its weight before handing it to Noctis " seems your dropped this " Noctis took it and nodded laying it across his lap " Ozbin...i'll need to leave to tame this beast no one here could stand a chance if i fail and i would rather not kill all of you or..rather let that thing..." Noctis gulped sighed standing" i'f been rushing this time around i need to take a step back and breath take my time to master myself ...i'll be leaveing the school im sorry OZbin.." With that Noctis flashstepped away leaveing Ozbin standing in an emtpy room . Ozbin hopes that Noctis will be allright dealing with one unkillable monster was more then he wanted he hopped he wont have two to deal with now.
