30 minutes later. Leia had just gone back to working on her report when she had to run to the bathroom and throw up again. Ugh. Something might actually be wrong, she thought. Oh well, it's not like I can leave and go to the doctor now. She went back to typing about textbooks, but only for about 15 minutes before the same thing happened again. Now she was getting kind of worried. She didn't want to bother Han though, and there was no way she was walking into Mon's office to ask for permission to leave, even though she knew Mon would tell her to go home and feel better. She pulled some breath mints out of her purse, popped one into her mouth, and went back to her computer. Until 20 minutes later when she threw up again. "This has just happened 4 times" she thought to herself. Then She walked to the kitchen to go get some ginger ale. On her way there she ran into Han, who asked if she was ok. He said that she looked pale. "Oh god, if Han noticed I look pale I must really look pale!" Leia thought to herself. "I'm fine" she said. She also ran into Mon on her way to the kitchen, who asked if she was feeling ok. " Are you feeling alright Leia, you look extremely pale"said Mon. " I am fine, thank you" replied Leia. " Are you sure, your really not looking too good, no offense" " I am sure" said Leia, forcing a smile. Almost immediately after she returned to her office, she had to throw up again. "5 times is enough,I am going to leave", she said. While she was in the bathroom, Han walked into her office. "Honey are you alright", he asked. "No." " What's wrong." "I have thrown up five times within the past hour." " Oh my god, you are coming home right now." Leia and Han walked to Mon's office together. They hit the little buzzer on the door and it opened. "Come in" said Mon. " May we be excused, I am not feeling very well" Leia said. " Of course, feel better" Mon replied.
Han drove the car straight to the doctor's office instead of going home. Leia didn't even have the energy to yell at him for it. When they walked in, the receptionist was very kind and told them that a doctor named Christi Melliss would be with them in a few minutes. As they sat in the waiting room, Leia opened up her phone. "OMG", Leia whispered. " what!", Han asked. " Han I need to talk to you" said Leia. " today is Monday July 1st, and I just remembered that today is normally the first day of my period, so do you think it's just stress, or an odd coincidence that the day my period is late I have a horrible headache and I feel sick in the morning" said Leia. " omg" said Han. " maybe " said Leia, "maybe."
"Mr and Mrs Solo the doctor will see you now" said a blonde nurse named Stacey. Han and Leia rose from their chairs in the waiting room. He gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before walking towards the door. "Hi, my name is Christi melliss, I will be taking care of you today, what seems to be the problem?" "Well, today around 8:30 I started feeling nauseous and over the course of an hour I threw up five times, I also normally start my period today but... I didn't " said Leia. "Ok" Christi replied. " I am just going to go ahead and run some tests and we should get results in about ten minutes", she said, " does that sound ok?" "Yep."
Ten minutes later. "Mrs. Solo, you are pregnant with twins!" "Oh my gosh!" Said Leia, tears of joy streaming down her face! "We're gonna be parents!" Said Han, jumping up and downwith joy! "This is amazing news, we are so excited to have children! We can't wait!" Leia exclaimed, still crying with happiness! "Thank you sweetheart" said Han! To be continued!!!!
