We open to an empty training room, with its lights off.
The lights suddenly turn on and a bunch of robots come out of hiding.
The robots ready their weapons as a familiar member of the HIVE enters the room. Girl with pink hair in a style shaped like devil horns and wearing a purple dress. It was ex-member Jinx.
Jinx smiles and snaps her fingers, causing a tidal wave of hex energy to destroy the robots. Jinx flipped her hair after her little attack.
"Impressed?" Asked the sorceress.
Suddenly there was a red and yellow blur and explosion sound which caused Jinx to flinch a bit.
Jinx turned around and sees the remains of a robot. "Geez and I thought I was cocky." Said a voice that made Jinx smile.
Jinx turned to her left and notices Kid Flash standing by the wall, smirking.
"Seriously, you're making me look more competent" said Kid Flash. Jinx smirked at Kid Flash and fired a hex blast at Kid Flash, which he ducked to avoid. But the blast instead hit a robot that Kid Flash didn't know was behind him.
Kid Flash looked behind him and sees the destroyed robot. "Ok, now I'm impressed." He said as he got up and dusted himself off.
Suddenly, a familiar black haired teenager jumped from the ceiling. And so did a familiar Cyborg; a green skinned, purple suited boy; an orange skinned, red haired teenage girl and a pale skinned girl wearing a purple cloak. Jinx and Kid Flash got into their attack positions ready to battle them.
"Congratulations." Said the black haired teenager. The lights turned on to reveal the Teen Titans. Robin, Starfire, Raven Cyborg and Beast Boy.
"Did we do good?" Asked Kid Flash.
"You did the training gloriously." Replied Starfire.
"You did better than Beast Boy" said Raven. "Hey that's only because Cyborg deliberately makes it harder for me" yelled Beast Boy. "I felt we should go easy with our recruits, you are not a recruit." Explained Cyborg.
"Jinx, despite our differences in the past." Said Robin, "I am pleased to announce you as a Teen Titan." Robin hands Jinx her Titan communicator, which gave Jinx a smile. "Thanks" said a generous Jinx. Jinx offers Robin a handshake which he reluctantly accepted. The handshake felt awkward between them due to their past, but the two soon stopped shaking hands.
"Kid Flash, Jinx, welcome to the Teen Titans." Said Robin.
"Yes, welcome to the team." Said an excitable Starfire. "Now you are one of the good guys Jinx, maybe we could do each other's makeup of beauty or perhaps we can go to the mall of shopping and buy things with money this time." Jinx stared at Starfire like she wasn't so sure if she wanted to do it. "Yeah, I'll think about that" said Jinx in a reluctant sounding voice.
"We prepared rooms for the each of you since you are Titans." Explained Cyborg, "I shall show you to your rooms." Jinx started to follow Cyborg to her new room. "Hey speedster, you coming?" Asked the pink haired sorceress. "In a minute slow poke" replied Kid Flash, "Just gotta talk to the guys first."
Jinx nodded her head and continues to follow Cyborg to her new room.
Robin's, Starfire's Beast Boy's and Raven's smiles fade once she left the room.
"I still can't believe you convinced us to let her audition." Raven said disappointingly.
"Come on, what's wrong with her?" Asked Kid Flash. "Apart from she was a member of the HIVE."
"That is what we are most concerned about." Replied a worried Starfire. "Yeah, how can you even trust someone like her?" Asked Beast Boy. "She used to whoop our butts on a daily basis!"
"There's something about her" said Kid Flash. "And what is the something?" Asked Starfire. "Like she was forced into that life?" Robin asked. "I think that's that" replied Kid Flash.
"I still don't trust her" exclaimed Beast Boy "and I think Cyborg can agree with me."
We cut to Cyborg and Jinx walking down the corridor walking towards her room.
"Do you trust me?" asked Jinx. "Well, I saw you unexpectedly take out your friends, so yeah. Replied Cyborg. "I believe you turned to the side of good."
"I wouldn't call them friends." Jinx explained. "I'd call them a group of immature boys." "How immature?" Asked Cyborg "Beast Boy immature?"
"Not really." Replied Jinx. "Billy doesn't clean up his mess despite the fact he can clone himself, Gizmo just likes to say childish insults, Kyd Wykkyd barley does or says anything, Mammoth is a walking mess maker and See-More...I don't really know much about him."
"Apart from he has a crush on you?" Cyborg asked while lifting an eyebrow. "Pretty much." Jinx replied.
"Here's your room" Cyborg said as he pointed to a metallic door and gave Jinx a piece of paper.
The piece of paper had the numbers 2, 0, 0, 6, 2, 0, 1 and 3.
"Room password?" Jinx asked. "No, that's the Wi-Fi password." Cyborg replied. Cyborg takes the note and hands Jinx another one.
"This is the password." Explained Cyborg. "But back to our early topic on crushes-"
"Look it was just a brief stupid crush." Jinx interrupted.
"What was?" Cyborg asked with an eyebrow raised. "You were." Jinx replied.
Cyborg smiles at Jinx's naiveness.
"No, I was talking about your little boyfriend." Cyborg said with a cheeky smirk. "Who?" Jinx asked.
We cut back to Kid Flash and the other Titans, still talking about him and Jinx.
"But what did you see inside the Jinx?" Starfire asked with much confusion. "Look, she's changed." Said Kid Flash. "Why don't you see it?"
"Why do you trust her so much?" Robin asked looking annoyed. "I think I know why he trusts her." Raven said with her blank expression.
"Besides her being a good person on the inside, what?" Kid Flash asked looking annoyed as well.
There was long awkward silence. The other Titans stared at Raven, waiting for an answer. "Why do you think he trusts her?" Asked Starfire. "The nicknames, the way they talk to each other and how they were close to holding hands. It is pretty obvious they are dating." Raven explained giving a small smile.
Kid Flash then stood in place shocked. "Uh..." was all Kid Flash could say to that.
Beast Boy was grinning at Kid Flash's embarrassment, Robin couldn't help but join in with the grinning, while Starfire was standing in place smiling, while Raven was just standing like she didn't care.
Back with Cyborg and Jinx.
"Please don't make me guess." Jinx said looking quite annoyed. "Who is the boyfriend you are referring to?" "Kid Flash." Cyborg said with a cheeky smile.
Jinx stood in place, shocked at Cyborg's comment.
We then cut to both Jinx's and Kid Flash's hearts beating simultaneously in a split screen.
We then see Kid Flash and Jinx holding on to their chests in a split screen.
"We are not boyfriend and girlfriend!!!!!" Kid Flash and Jinx said in unison and in a split screen.
We then see them stomping through the door and slamming it, in a split screen.
We then see Cyborg and Beast Boy in split screen, grinning.
"Oh there is definitely something between them." Cyborg and Beast Boy said in unison and in a split screen.
We then transition to the other Titans.
"But he just said they weren't." Starfire said with a bit of confusion in her voice. "Star, sometimes people are embarrassed to admit they're boyfriend and girlfriend." Raven explained. "But me and Robin are the boyfriend and girlfriend and we are not ashamed." Starfire exclaimed. "That's a whole lot of different." Raven explained.
The next day.
We see Robin, Starfire, Raven and Cyborg sitting by the breakfast bar waiting for Beast Boy to finish preparing their breakfast.
"Thanks for preparing our breakfast Beast Boy." Said Robin. "Just wanted the lovebirds to see what's in store." Beast Boy said with a cheeky grin plastered on his face. "How generous of you Beast Boy." Starfire said with a smile.
"I wasn't referring to you and Robin." Beast Boy explained, still with the cheeky grin plastered on his face.
Starfire and Robin stared at each other confused. "But you always refer to me and Robin as the birds of love." Starfire said, confused and a bit disappointed.
"I'm not talking about you two..." Beast Boy said, grinning as Kid Flash and Jinx enter the room; Beast Boy points at Kid Flash and Jinx "...I'm talking about them." Beast Boy gave a small chuckle.
Kid Flash and Jinx were at first confused, but then realised what he was saying and got angry. "We are not dating!" Kid Flash and Jinx yelled in unison. The two realised they said it at the same time. "They think we're dating?!" Jinx and Kid Flash asked each other in unison.
"Cyborg thinks we are." Said Jinx. "The others do as well." Kid Flash replied.
"I don't actually care if you two are, or not dating." Robin said with a small grin like he was enjoying their embarrassment. Jinx and Kid Flash rolled their eyes at the comment.
Kid Flash sat next to Cyborg, while Jinx sat next to Raven. "So, what's for breakfast?" Kid Flash asked looking quite hungry. Beast Boy hands the Titans their plates. "My world famous-" Said a smug Beast Boy. "Tofu!" Screamed a disgusted Cyborg. Cyborg then got out of his seat and started running to the bathroom, while the Titans watched as Cyborg ran to the bathroom.
"Uh...How nice of you to prepare for us this feast." Starfire said obviously not satisfied with the meal she has been given. "He likes it." Beast Boy said, referring to Cyborg. "Yeah. He likes it so much he ran to the bathroom to throw up." Raven said sarcastically. Jinx laughed at Raven's comment. "Why is that funny Jinx?" Starfire asked, obviously not understanding Jinx's sense of humour.
"Beast Boy, we appreciate the kindness but I thought we agreed we only made tofu for Silkie." Robin said. "More please." Said a smug Kid Flash. The Titans were shocked to discover that Kid Flash's plate had no sign of tofu on it. "What?" Kid Flash said, confused by everyone's reaction. Beast Boy smiled at Kid Flash. "Well at least somebody likes my tofu." Beast Boy said with a smug smile. "I'm gonna throw this away." Said a disgusted Robin. Robin, Starfire and Raven got out of their seats and walked over to a sleeping Silkie. They scraped their tofu into Silkie's bowel.
Kid Flash shuffles up to Jinx, smiling. "Hey, you want your breakfast or do you want me to have it?" Kid Flash asked. Suddenly, the Titans hear Cyborg throwing up. "I think I lost my appetite after hearing that, speedster." Jinx said looking disgusted. Jinx moves her plate of tofu to Kid Flash. "Thanks, slow poke." Kid Flash said with a grin which made Jinx smile.
Beast Boy was staring at the two while grinning. Kid Flash and Jinx noticed this which made them a little uncomfortable, so Kid Flash just shuffled away from Jinx with his tofu.
Cyborg returned from the bathroom, looking queasy. "What did I miss?" Cyborg asked while not looking good. "Somebody else likes tofu." Raven said blank faced and jerked her head to where Kid Flash was sitting. Cyborg sees Kid Flash eating the tofu like he absolutely loves it. Cyborg looked unimpressed and disgusted. "I do not know how anybody could like that." Cyborg said disgusted.
Suddenly, the Titans alarm started going off. LI'm assuming that's the alarm?" Jinx asked.
The Titans ran towards the screen to see what's happening. Kid Flash quickly ate his tofu and joined the Titans. "I swear if it's that mysterious robot we encountered a few months ago." Raven said while looking at Beast Boy, annoyed. "I'm still sorry about being knocked out during all that." Beast Boy exclaimed. Robin turns on the screen to see Control Freak staring at them with a devilishly evil smile.
"Greetings Titans!" Control Freak yelled through the screen.
The Titans stared at Control Freak looking surprised. "No, it can't be." Cyborg said in shock. "Control Freak!" Robin said with anger in his face. "Didn't we freeze him?" Beast Boy asked, confused.
"You did, but I escaped!" Yelled Control Freak. "And how did you escape the freezing?" Asked a confused Starfire.
Control Freak's menacing smile soon vanished after that question, meaning that he didn't know how he got out as well. "I don't know." Replied a confused Control Freak. "I just woke up in a room which happened to be my apart-I mean lair! Yes, lair!"
"What do you want?" Robin asked, not wanting his time wasted.
"I have some challenges set up for you. If you complete them than I-" Control Freak stopped explaining once he saw Kid Flash and Jinx. "Hold on a minute! What is this?!" Kid Flash and Jinx are suddenly put in a spotlight. "Why are these two here?!" The spotlight shining upon Kid Flash and Jinx disappeared.
"Because we're new members of the Teen Titans." Kid Flash replied with a smug smile on his face. "No, you can't be new members!" Yelled Control Freak. "Is it because of my old affiliation?" Jinx asked not wanting to think about her past.
"Not that. You two aren't worthy to be Teen Titans." Control Freak yelled. "Why's that?" Jinx asked while folding her arms. "You just aren't!" Was the only answer Control Freak gave. Kid Flash and Jinx just stared at him not pleased with the answer. "You just aren't, ok?! The only members should be Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy!" Kid Flash smirked at Control Freak's outburst. "Wow, you were right about him being a fanboy." Kid Flash said. Control Freak glared at Kid Flash, annoyed. "I am not a fanboy!" Yelled an annoyed Control Freak. "I studied the Titans to know their weakness because that's what a villain does."
"Who's your favourite Titan?" Asked Raven. "Cy-No! What are you doing?!" Asked Control Freak. "So you are the fanboy?" Starfire asked. "A psychotic fanboy." Raven replied with a blank expression.
"You know what Titans?" Exclaimed Control Freak. "I'm gonna be back. Make sure them two stay here while I prepare a task. Cause I know you're intending to trace this message."
"Why can't they come?" Robin asked. "The lovebirds stay or everyone dies!" Yelled Control Freak. "Alright, we-" Robin was interrupted when Kid Flash shoved him out of the way. "We are not dating!" Kid Flash yelled, getting tired of the claims. Control Freak smiled at Kid Flash's reaction. "You will be!" Exclaimed Control Freak. "Now, if you excuse me. I have an online messaging board to be a part of in regards to them two becoming Titans." The screen turned back to black, ending Control Freak's live feed.
"Cyborg, did you trace the message?" Asked Robin. Cyborg started typing on his wrist.
"He's in a warehouse in Slater studios." Replied Cyborg. "That's where they filmed Star Battles." Beast Boy said with a huge smile on his face. "What a subtle location." Raven said sarcastically.
"Titans, except for the lovebirds..." Robin said just to annoy Kid Flash and Jinx; which worked. "...Go!" The Titans, except for the 'lovebirds', ran out of the tower. "I knew we should've moved to Titans East." Jinx said annoyed by this. "In some other universe, we probably have" Kid Flash said, with a string sign of regret in his voice.
The two stood in around in silence, occasionally taking quick glances at each other and awkwardly rubbing their shoulders. Kid Flash looked at Jinx like he wanted to say something, but he didn't say anything in the end, while Jinx tried to say something, but she didn't say anything in the end. "I'm gonna explore the base." Kid Flash and Jinx said in unison. The two stared at each other in disbelief over saying that sentence at the same time. "You wanna join me?" Said the two in unison yet again. The two looked away from each other, trying to hide the fact they're blushing. "Uh...sure." The two said in unison yet again.
The two then walked through the door which lead to the corridor to explore the base.
A few moments later we see the two enter Beast Boy's room and saw it was a mess. Clothes, food, chocolate wrappers and dust everywhere; his bed wasn't made properly either. "Does this guy ever clean his room?" Jinx asked disgusted by the mess.
Kid Flash ran around the room and soon it was spotless; with the bed made for good measure. "No" Kid Flash said answering her question from earlier. "I think he makes his teammates do it. And trust me, I don't wanna clean up that awful mess again."
Later, the two are seen entering Raven's room and see that it was like a goth's room. Books with dark covers, skulls, posters for rock stars who appeal to goths and the wall was covered in black. Jinx walks up to Raven's desk and finds Raven's diary. The front cover read "do not open."
"Do not open" said Kid Flash reading the front cover "it obviously means, open." Kid Flash opens the diary and a demonic looking hand popped out of the page, grabbing
Jinx by the hair. Kid Flash quickly started punching the arm but it didn't let go of Jinx
So Jinx hex blasted the arm, which did make the arm let go of her hair and go back into the pages. "Ok, anything that belongs to Raven, we don't touch." Jinx said, looking traumatised by the experience. "Agreed." Said Kid Flash.
Later the two enter Starfire's room and see that it was like any typical teenage girl's bedroom. Pink walls, a mantle piece with makeup and beauty products; and a mirror resting on the mantle piece. Kid Flash walked up to the mirror and grabbed a photo off of Starfire's mirror. "So that's what Robin looks like without his mask." Said Kid Flash. "He's not bad looking himself." Kid Flash quickly stuck the photo back on the mirror.
Later, the two entered Robin's room and they see newspaper headlines on the wall. "Doesn't he have any pictures of him and his friends anywhere?" Kid Flash asked, probably not pleased with how Robin organises his room. Jinx walks up to a desk and picks up a picture of Robin and Starfire holding hands while sitting on a bench. While looking at the picture, Jinx saw Robin and Starfire suddenly turn into her and Kid Flash performing the same action, so she quickly placed it back on the desk.
Later, the two enter Cyborg's room and see that it looks like a garage.
They walked up to a wall and started to look at the photos hanging from them. The photos were mostly of him and the other Titans, but Kid Flash noticed a picture of Cyborg and Jinx on the wall. "That was taken when we briefly dated." Jinx explained. "But I thought you told me you didn't have any relationships." Kid Flash said looking surprised and possibly a little jealous.
"We weren't really boyfriend and girlfriend, it was just a small, stupid crush." Jinx explained. "What happened between you and him?" Kid Flash asked. "It just went by, like all other crushes." Jinx explained. "I don't really do the whole relationship thing." "You don't?!" Asked a surprised Kid Flash. "No, not really." Jinx answered while shrugging her shoulders. "Oh, then I guess I shouldn't have sent those roses." said a disappointed Kid Flash.
Jinx then continued to stare at the phots. But she then pulled a face that looked like she just realised something. "Kid Flash, those roses you sent me..." Jinx said while stroking her hair. Kid Flash turned his to face her. "Oh, I found them all over the world." Kid Flash said with a smile. "Like-" "No, I don't care where you got them." Interrupted Jinx, stopping Kid Flash from talking. "What do you wanna ask me?" Kid Flash asked knowing the question she might be asking soon. Jinx started rubbing her arm unsure of what to say. "Kid Flash-" Jinx was interrupted when Control Freak showed up on Cyborg's screen.
"Greetings lovebirds!" Yelled Control Freak. Kid Flash and Jinx turned to the face the screen, annoyed with Control Freak. "Stop calling us that!" Kid Flash and Jinx yelled in unison. "My contacts beg to differ." Control Freak said with a smug smile.Control Freak turns his laptop to the screen and shows them messages from other geeks and nerds.
One of them was from GoAway53 saying "They are definitely together. I definitely ship those two."
The one from Slater34 said "They could be together, but I don't ship them."
And one from See-More said "If Jinx is dating a superhero than she has betrayed the HIVE even more."
"Fanboy alert." Jinx said mimicking Kid Flash's grin. Control Freak moves his laptop away from the screen. "I am not a fanboy!" Control Freak yelled in anger. "Yeah, right." Kid Flash said with a smug smile.
"Anyway, if you're wondering why I'm calling you; I have done something the majority of villains have done!" Control Freak exclaimed with a proud smile. "You've finally changed your life choices?" Kid Flash joked which made him and Jinx laugh. No! I have kidnapped the Teen Titans!!!!" Control Freak yelled feeling proud of his achievement.
Control Freak turns his camera to the Teen Titans, who were chained to a metallic fence and being electrocuted.
Kid Flash and Jinx looked at the sight of their team being electrocuted, in horror. "So, if you want to save your teammates than you need to do tasks for me." Said a threatening Control Freak. "If me and Kid Flash have to kiss to save them than...I will gladly do it." Said a reluctant, yet ready Jinx. "No, don't do that!" Exclaimed Control Freak. "I don't even ship you two! There is a bomb in the Jump City gym that is set to explode in twenty minutes and I want Kid Flash to go there and I want Jinx to go to the Ruby jewellery store to find another bomb that is placed there and is also set to blow up in twenty minutes."
"What happens if we try to rescue them?" Asked Kid Flash. "They will be FT; Fried Titans." Exclaimed Control Freak. "That definitely doesn't sound delicious." Kid Flash said trying to keep calm about the fact that his team could be dead.
"Remember, twenty minutes!" Control Freak reminded them as the screen turned back to black. "I'll drop you off at the jewellery store." Kid Flash said to Jinx. "Once we're done, let's meet up at a restaurant." "What?" Jinx asked. "At the studio!" Exclaimed Kid Flash, obviously not wanting Jinx to hear his previous comment. "Yes! Studio! That...is what...I obviously meant." Kid Flash rubbed his head awkwardly. "Yeah, you totally did." Jinx said not believing Kid Flash, hinting that she heard what he said. Kid Flash picked Jinx up, bridal style and ran out of the tower.
We cut to Control Freak's lair where he is seen sitting on a chair admiring the Titans being chained to the metal fence. "I can't believe I finally caught you!" Control Freak yelled with delight. "I mean, getting defeated by you was hard but I didn't expect you guys to be so captured easily!" "This is so humiliating." Beast Boy said, embarrassed. "Maybe we wouldn't be captured if you sneezed." Raven said blank faced. "Hey, I think Control Freak knew we were here! It wasn't because of the sneeze." Beast Boy exclaimed. "Yeah right." Raven said not believing Beast Boy's word.
Control Freak pushes a button and the Titans get electrocuted.
"Oh I do hope Kid Flash and Jinx find the bombs." Starfire said after the electrocution stopped. "It's gonna be easy Star." Cyborg said feeling confident. "Remember, this is Control Freak the most pathetic villain we've ever encountered." Control Freak zapped them again after hearing that comment. "Don't say anything next time." Said Robin.
"Finding the bombs won't be easy for them" Control Freak said with smug confidence.
We cut to Kid Flash dropping Jinx off at the Ruby jewellery store.
"While you're in there, steal something nice for me." Kid Flash joked. Jinx rolled her eyes at Kid Flash's joke and ran into the jewellery store. Kid Flash smiled and ran to the gym. Kid Flash opened the door to the empty gym. But with the equipment still out and ready to be used.
Kid Flash started walking, but he suddenly heard the sound of the door locking. Kid Flash turned around to face the door and see that it is in fact, locked. "This won't be good." Kid Flash said, not feeling so sure about this. Control Freak suddenly showed up on a screen behind him. "Greetings Kid Flash!" Control Freak yelled to get his attention. Kid Flash turned to face Control Freak, looking annoyed. "Question: Do you have an off switch?" Asked an annoyed Kid Flash.
"Silence!" Yelled Control Freak. "I might have forgotten to mention one detail. While looking for the bomb, I wish for you to not use super speed. "What?!" Yelled a surprised Kid Flash. "If you use your super speed than the gym blows up with you inside!" Explained Control Freak. "Good luck, you only have 17 minutes." The screen cut to black.
"Ok. Find a bomb without super speed." Kid Flash said. "How hard can it be?" Kid Flash started running at normal speed to find the bomb.
We cut to the jewellery store where Jinx was searching an office by looking through the drawers and the cabinets. "They've got to be here somewhere." Jinx said frustrated.
Control Freak suddenly showed up on a TV set inside the room. Greetings Ex HIVE!!!! Control Freak yelled. Jinx turned to acknowledge Control Freak, looking annoyed while doing so. "Was there something you forgot to say?" Jinx asked not wanting her time wasted. "The bomb that is the jewellery needs to be found in three minutes!" Control Freak explained. "No, I counted! It's 16 minutes." Said a frustrated Jinx. "It is now three minutes." Said Control Freak. "But you have three minutes till the cops get here because I sort of tipped you off." "What?!" Yelled Jinx. "You could make the strong case to them that you're now a hero, but they won't believe that due to your past affiliations." Control Freak laughed. "The bomb is tiny but it is on one of the pieces of jewellery on display. Now, hurry up." The TV cuts to black and Jinx quickly ran to the display cases and started smashing them and inspecting the jewellery.
Meanwhile, Kid Flash was still running at regular speed to try and find the bomb. Kid Flash came across a poster for the gym that was hanging on a wall. " I hope the bomb is in there." Said Kid Flash. Kid Flash pulled the poster off the wall and it is revealed that behind the poster was just plain wall. "Ok. Good thing I have 15 minutes." Kid Flash continued to run around the gym at human speed.
Meanwhile, Jinx was still smashing the display cases and taking a look at the jewellery.
She picks up a bracelet and starts to carefully analyse it but finds nothing. Jinx grunted with anger and threw it away. Jinx picks up a ring and starts to carefully analyse it.
"Come on!" Said a frustrated Jinx. Jinx looked at the clock that is hanging from the wall and sees there's 1 minute and 30 seconds left. "Come on!" Suddenly, police cars park up outside, which caused Jinx to go into a panic. "Crud!"
Meanwhile, Kid Flash looked exhausted after a while of trying to look for the bomb. "Come on! Where is it?!" Yelled a frantic Kid Flash. Kid Flash looked at the floor and noticed a faint light coming from below a treadmill. "Bingo!"
Kid Flash turns the treadmill over and sees a bomb attached underneath it. Kid Flash removes the bomb and runs outside the building while still holding the bomb (At normal speed, obviously).
Back at the jewellery store, Jinx was continuing to smash the display cases, frantically. Jinx picked up an earring and sees a tiny red light. "Gotcha!" Jinx yelled.
"Jinx, get out of the jewellery store with your hands up." Ordered a cop using a megaphone.
Jinx looked at the clock and sees that there's 25 seconds left. Jinx quickly runs to the window and jumps out of it, seeing the cops in front of her. "Put down that piece of jewellery!" Ordered the cop using a megaphone. Jinx held her hands up, but she quickly threw the earring over the cops' heads and it landed in the ocean just behind them. "Right there's my breaking point!" Yelled the cop using the megaphone. "But I was throwing away a bomb." Jinx exclaimed. "Yeah right!" Yelled the cop as he lowered his megaphone. "I'll believe you if there's an explosion right behind us." Suddenly, an explosion occurred behind the cops and it caused them to realise that she was right. "Told ya." Jinx said in a smug manner
Suddenly, Kid Flash showed up in front of Jinx. "Did you defuse the bomb?" Asked Kid Flash. "No, but I think I just activated a sea mine." Replied Jinx. "Now, time to get Control Freak." Kid Flash said while cracking his knuckles. "Alright. Come on Speedster." Jinx said teasingly. "Alright slow poke." Kid Flash replied, teasingly. Kid Flash picked up Jinx, bridal style and starts to run to the warehouse, while the cops stood bewildered. "Are these two dating?" Asked a random cop. Suddenly, Kid Flash runs back to the cops still holding Jinx. "NO!" Kid Flash and Jinx yelled in unison. Kid Flash goes back to running to the warehouse while holding Jinx.
Later.
Kid Flash arrived at the Titan's Tower and placed Jinx on the floor, which confused Jinx a lot because she thought they were going to the warehouse.
"Kid Flash, why are we back at the base?" Asked Jinx. Kid Flash shows Jinx the bomb from the gym. "You didn't get rid of your bomb?!" Jinx stared at Kid Flash like he was insane. "No. Because of the plan." Kid Flash replied with a smug smile.
"So, that's why Control Freak didn't contact us when we supposedly got rid of the bombs." Said Jinx.
" And Besides, we only have 8 minutes left till the bomb explodes. So, we can talk."
Said Kid Flash. "But-" Jinx was about to say something but she was cut off by Kid Flash. "I promise, we can go once it gets to the 5 minute mark." Kid Flash said in a serious tone of voice.
Jinx sighed. "Ok, sure." Said Jinx in defeat. .What should we do for three minutes?" "I don't know. Talk?" Kid Flash suggested. Jinx smiled at the suggestion. "That sounds good " said Jinx. "About what?" "I don't know." Replied Kid Flash.
The two then started staring at the window while standing next to each other. "What were you asking earlier about the roses?" Asked Kid Flash. "Well...I was wondering, do you like me?" Jinx nervously asked. "You're my friend, of course I do." Kid Flash replied with a sweet smile. "No, I meant as more." Jinx said as she turned to look at Kid Flash. "What?" Kid Flash asked, stunned by the question. Kid Flash then turned to look at Jinx. "You think I like you more than a friend?" Kid Flash asked. "Well, yeah." Jinx replied. Kid Flash sighed, knowing the answer. "I...well...I..." Stuttered a nervous Kid Flash. "You do, don't you?" Jinx asked in the sweetest tone of voice he's heard. Kid Flash sighed and took a deep breath. "Ok. Yes." Kid Flash replied reluctantly.
"Try and explain your answer as quick as you can." Suggested Jinx. "You now have one minute till it reaches the mark." "Ok!" Kid Flash exclaimed. Kid Flash took a deep breath in an effort to explain himself. "I saw something in you that made my heart beat at a rate that said "I'm in love." I wanted to talk to you just to get to know you and possibly go on a date with you, but then I saw a broken person the more I looked at you and I wanted to try and convince you. I didn't see anything in your teammates because they're stupid and immature. So those roses weren't an effort to make you fall in love with me, I was actually showing my feelings for you." Kid Flash said all that in super speed.
There was a long silent stare between them. Jinx stared at Kid Flash like she was surprised by this. "So, after-" Jinx was interrupted when Kid Flash placed his hands
on her shoulders. "No time to talk. Five minute mark." Said an excitable Kid Flash. Kid Flash picked up Jinx and ran out of the base.
Later, the two arrived at the warehouse where their team was being held. Kid Flash knocked on the door and it opened. The two entered the warehouse and noticed an alien looking planet. The rocks looked brown, yellow and grey; the green plants looked like giant corals; they appeared to have made it to the right location.
"Oh my gosh, they kept this set up even after 50 years?" Kid Flash asked surprised. The lights turned on and Control Freak stood in front of them, smiling devilishly. "Greetings lovebirds!" Yelled Control Freak. "We are not dating!" Yelled an annoyed Kid Flash. "But...There is a possibility it could happen." Jinx started while smiling at Kid Flash. Kid Flash's heart started beating rapidly after hearing that last sentence from Jinx. "Really?" Kid Flash asked while blushing.
"So, you couldn't find the bomb without your super speed?" Control Freak asked in an evil manner. "Nope." Replied Kid Flash in a confident manner. "Wrong!!! You did find the bomb and I knew you'd take it back to your base as an effort to use it against me!" Control Freak yelled while looking confident. "Great, that plan didn't go accordingly." Kid Flash said as he and Jinx facepalmed themselves.
"And now..." Control Freak said as he points his cane to the right of Kid Flash and Jinx. A spotlight shone on the rest of the Teen Titans tied up to the fence. "Kid Flash!" Yelled a fear stricken Starfire.
"Your friends will die while you blow up with them, even after they die." Said a crazy Control Freak as he pushes a button that makes the Titans feel the shocking pain of the electricity flowing through their body. "You monster, how could you be so foolish?" Jinx yelled in anger. "Yes! I am very much a monster! I am the Titans greatest enemy! I-" Control Freak stopped talking once he thought back to a sentence Jinx said. "Wait, how could I be so foolish? Don't you mean 'How could you be so evil?'"
"You may be a fanboy, but being a fanboy doesn't mean you're an intellectual." Kid Flash said with a smug smile. Suddenly, there was the sound of what appeared to be an explosion. "What was that?!" Control Freak asked in a panic stricken state, while Kid Flash and Jinx smiled. "That was the fusebox outside being blown up, so the Titans shall stop being electrocuted." Replied a smug faced Jinx.
Suddenly, the Titans were no longer being electrocuted but the lights did go out. There was a long awkward silence. "I assume you two didn't think this through?" Asked an annoyed sounding Cyborg. "Not really." Replied Kid Flash. "Good thing I have my lightsword." Said Control Freak. "Luckily, I thought of a backup." Kid Flash said, happily.
We cut to Control Freak using his lightsword as a torch. Presumably to find an exit.
"Peekaboo." Said the sound of Kid Flash's voice. Which caused Control Freak to sweat and look around the room frantically. "Where are you?!" Control Freak yelled.
Control Freak started to walk nervously around the darkness. "On your left." Said the voice of Jinx. Control Freak moved to his left to see if anyone was there and there wasn't. "Where are you?!" Yelled Control Freak.
Control Freak turned back to his right and sees Kid Flash making a scary face, which caused him to scream and drop his lightsword which caused it to deactivate upon hitting the floor. "Where is it?! Where is it?!" Yelled a frantic Control Freak. "Ah Ha!" Control Freak soon found the sword and activated it. The illumination caused him to see the Teen Titans standing in front of him.
"Boo!" Said Beast Boy. Control Freak screamed again and dropped his sword on the floor again! Suddenly, a disembodied female voice said "Back generator activate." Which caused the lights to turn back on. The lights turned back on and we see Cyborg holding Control Freak by his collar so he wouldn't run away. "Where do you think you're going?" Asked Cyborg giving a smirk while Control Freak frowned in defeat.
We cut back to the tower where we see Kid Flash and Jinx sitting on the couch laughing. "Did he really plan these tasks at the last minute?" Jinx asked trying to hold in as much laughter as she could. "I don't know. I mean he didn't exactly have a backup and didn't do anything to outsmart us." Kid Flash replied. "No wonder he isn't on the Teen Titans' villains list. He's too pathetic to be a villain." Jinx said while trying to hold in her laugh. Kid Flash and Jinx soon continued to laugh.
While laughing, Kid Flash shuffled up to Jinx in an effort to get close to her. The two stopped laughing and started to stare at each other, in a bit of an awkward manner.
"Hey." Was all Jinx could say. "Hi." Was all Kid Flash could reply with. "So..." Jinx said while rubbing the back of her neck. "It's ok, I get it if you don't wanna go out with me." Kid Flash said suddenly. "Like you said 'I don't do the whole relationship thing' get that I-" Kid Flash stopped talking when Jinx, unexpectedly planted a kiss on Kid Flash's cheek, which caused him to blush heavily.
"I assume you felt the same?" Kid Flash asked while giving her a flirtatious grin. "Pretty much." Jinx replied while smiling shyly. "As much as I want to be a part of this relationship, I want us to take things slow." "It's ok, I get it." Said Kid Flash. "I mean, you don't become boyfriend and girlfriend just by one kiss, don't you?" Asked Jinx.
Kid Flash and Jinx then started staring at each other again.
"I mean, it happened with Robin and Starfire." Stated Kid Flash. "One kiss later now they're holding hands and calling each other pet names." "Yeah. I wanna go slow with our relationship because I don't really wanna rush things." Explained Jinx.
"I understand. I really do." Kid Flash replied, yet again sporadically. "My last relationships ended because I kind of rushed, but I don't wanna screw things up with you." "And, I don't wanna screw up with you." Said Jinx. "In all honesty, I just don't want us to screw up." "I don't want us to screw up either." Said Kid Flash.
The two continued to stare at each other before they started to lean in. "Do you think one of us will?" Asked Jinx. "It is a relationship, screwing up is bound to happen at some point." Replied Kid Flash. The two then slowly started to close their eyes.
"It could." Was all Jinx could say after that question. Their lips grew closer with every passing second, intent on having their first kiss.
But they soon stopped when they heard the door behind them open. "The interrupting of the kissing. That is my least favourite cliche of movies." Said a very opinionated sounding Starfire.
Starfire, Robin, Beast Boy, Raven and Cyborg had just entered the living quarters, possibly to pull themselves back together after being electrocuted for hours on end.
Kid Flash and Jinx got up from the couch like nothing happened. "What are you two doing?" Cyborg asked while smirking, cheekily. "Nothing." Said Kid Flash. "Yeah. We're just going back to our rooms." Jinx said while making it sound awkward. "Yes...we are." Stuttered a nervous Kid Flash.
The two started to walk to their rooms while the Titans smirked. "Ok. We'll leave you two lovebirds to fool around." Beast Boy said cheekily. The Titans all chuckled and grinned. Jinx and Kid Flash stared at each other annoyed before smiling. "Actually, it's on the table." Jinx said confidently. The Titans stopped chuckling and stared at them in shock. "Goodnight team." Said a very happy Jinx. Jinx and Kid Flash walked through the door which lead to the corridor that lead them to their rooms. Kid Flash poked his head out of the door and grinned at the Titans. "If you hear noise, ignore it." Kid Flash said as he moved his head back in
The Titans stood shocked after hearing all that. "They are joking, right?" Cyborg asked worryingly. "They were grinning like idiots." Stated a worried Raven. "I don't know if they were doing the sarcasm." Said a worried Starfire. " I hope they were, because I wanna continue annoying them." Beast Boy said with a worried look on his face. The Titans stood in shock while Kid Flash and Jinx stood behind the door, just chuckling.
