We open to Jinx walking along the empty corridor of Titan's tower, having the urge to get a midnight snack. Jinx stretched her arms as enters the main lounge and walks into the kitchen, opens the fridge and grabs herself a sandwich.
Jinx takes a bite out of the sandwich unaware of the person standing behind her. "What are you doing?" Robin's sudden presence caused Jinx to scream and drop her sandwich on the floor.
Jinx turns around to face Robin, looking quite angry with the fact he startled her. "Getting a snack." Jinx stated, quite annoyed with Robin. "Does it look like I'm planning to blow up the base?"
"Don't know, you could be." Robin replied with his arms crossed. "I'm not!" Yelled Jinx. "That life is behind me. I am clean, I am pardoned, I haven't attacked anyone; apart from Beast Boy and Cyborg for being annoying childish pranksters."
"You shouldn't really attack teammates." Robin said with his arms crossed. "Raven blasts them on a daily basis and I don't see you complaining." Exclaimed Jinx. Robin stood in silence, not sure how to follow that sentence. "Got nothing to add, huh?" Jinx asked with smirk.
"Point is: you may be a Titan, but it's gonna take a lot to be a Titan in my eyes." Said Robin. Robin walked away from Jinx and walked through the door to the main corridor.
Jinx sighed and bent over to pick up the sandwich, but she saw Beast Boy, in dog form, eating the sandwich. Beast Boy ate the sandwich and started licking his paw. "I'm sorry, I thought you didn't want it." Said Beast Boy as he finished licking his dirty paw. Jinx sighed and walked back through the door to the corridor that lead to her room.
The next day.
Jinx and Starfire were walking down the corridor, talking about her new affiliation and Robin.
"How do you even get used to it?" Jinx asked her new Tamaranean friend. "To what am I used to?" Starfire asked, unsure of what Jinx was asking.
"Robin. His trust issues." Exclaimed Jinx. "But the one with the trust issues is Raven." Starfire pointed out. Raven exited her room as soon as Starfire said those words. "Well, she isn't Terra and Jinx is cool to hang around with." Raven said as she started to walk with them.
"But why doesn't Robin trust me?" Asked Jinx. "Lets see: HIVE, our countless battles and GOING INTO MY ROOM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!" Raven yelled, causing Starfire and Jinx to freeze, stunned at the sudden outburst.
"I still haven't forgiven you for that." Raven said. "Sorry." Jinx said with a shoulder shrug. "It's accepted when it's accepted." Raven said as the three female members of the Titans continue walking.
"Robin just needs some time to get used to you being a Titan. I think you are a Titan and a worthy one." Starfire said to Jinx in an effort to make her not feel so down. "I'm sure somewhere, Robin feels the same."
We cut to Robin and Kid Flash walking down the corridor talking about Jinx.
"Come on Robin, she's changed." Said Kid Flash in a desperate effort to make Robin change his views. "How do you know?" Robin asked not believing a word Kid Flash is saying. "She hasn't hex blasted me." Said Kid Flash.
"So?" Robin asked with his arms folded. Kid Flash then started to think of another reason. "She saved that kid." Said Kid Flash.
"One act of kindness doesn't change things." Robin said getting annoyed of Kid Flash defending her. "You just need to trust her more." Advised Kid Flash. "I mean, you don't think she is behind that door planning to jump us?"
"That could be a possibility." Robin sad as he opened the door to the lounge.
Suddenly Cyborg and Beast Boy suddenly jumped out from the couch yelling "ROBIN DON'T!"
Suddenly, water fell on Robin which made Kid Flash burst into a hysterical fit of laughter and Robin wet and annoyed.
"Dude, that was meant for Jinx!" Yelled Beast Boy. Kid Flash continued laughing as he slapped his hand on Robin's back. "That's a classic. Never gets old." Kid Flash exclaimed trying to hold in his laughter. "Except it is the most unoriginal joke in existence." Raven said as she, a concerned Starfire and a smirking Jinx entered the lounge.
"Come on, you can't beat the classics." Beast Boy said with a shoulder shrug. Beast Boy tried walking, but he suddenly realised his laces were tied to both of his boots and he tripped while Cyborg laughed at Beast Boy's accident.
"RAVEN!" Beast Boy yelled not impressed with with his friend. "Can't beat the classics." Raven said with a smirk.
Later, The Titans are seen eating breakfast after Robin changed into a spare attire.
Suddenly, Titans' alarm started going off causing the Titans to stop eating their breakfast and run to the screen.
Cyborg turns the screen on to see the HIVE Five (Gizmo, Kyd Wykkyd, Mammoth, Billy Numerous and See-More) robbing a mall.
"HIVE." Hissed Robin. "Wait, they escaped their ice prison as well?" Beast Boy asked confused about this.
"It's not just them." Cyborg said. "What?" Robin asked, looking surprised. "All of our enemies have escaped their prison. Me and Kid Flash went to check and see what villains have escaped and turns out, they all have. Except for Brain, Mallah and Madame Rouge."
"And we know somebody who hates Rouge." Robin stated as he glared at Jinx. She noticed this and stared at Robin, getting annoyed with his accusations. "I didn't release my team! I would've left them frozen, especially Gizmo."
"If I were the one who did it, I would've left Gizmo frozen." Raven said. "Who wouldn't?" Kid Flash asked while thinking back to Gizmo's childish insults.
"Titans and Jinx..." Jinx rolled her eyes at Robin "Go!" The Titans run out of the tower to fight the HIVE.
We cut to the HIVE robbing some stores at the mall.
Gizmo is seen robbing a computer store, Mammoth is seen robbing a candy store, Kyd Wykkyd is seen stealing goth clothes, while Billy and his clones are seen holding people hostage.
"Now ya'll gonna be here for a while." Said Billy in a calm yet threatening tone of voice. "Why can't you let us go? We won't tell anyone." Yelled one of the hostages in a desperate plea. "That's what they say all the gosh darn time." Said one of the Billy clones.
"We have quite a lot of stuff, how are we gonna get this back to the base quicker?" Asked Mammoth. "Come on snot-brains, we'll get this stuff to our tower the shortest route." Gizmo said. "See-More!"
Nodding his head at Gizmo, See-More turned a knob on his robotic eye and it shot out a portal which he threw a bag into.
See-More was about to throw another one, until a blur caused the bag to disappear. "What the?" See-More exclaimed look befuddled.
"Not that quick thinking butt guzzler!" Gizmo yelled, annoyed. "Don't ya'll mean butt guzzlers?" The voice of Cyborg caused the HIVE to look up and see the Teen Titans, standing on the 2nd floor.
"Jinx?" Mammoth said, in disbelief. "Treacherous snake!" Billy yelled as he cracked his knuckles.
"Titans, Go!"
The Titans all jump off the second floor to attack the HIVE. Kyd Wykkyd teleported behind Raven and kicked her; he charged at her, but Raven used her magic to stop him. Raven then throws Kyd Wykkyd across the mall, eventually he hits a wall.
Kid Flash runs past Mammoth and snatches the candy he stole, causing Mammoth to be stunned. Mammoth then got a surprise blast from Starfire.
Beast Boy, now a cheetah, tried to pounce on Gizmo; but Gizmo used his jet pack to dodge the pounce and pushes a button which caused a bunch of spider legs to sprout out of his backpack.
Beast Boy turned into a rhinoceros and charged at Gizmo, but Gizmo activated his jet pack and got out of his way.
"Hey dude, not fair!" Yelled a frustrated Beast Boy. "Villain, remember?" Exclaimed Gizmo.
We cut to Cyborg and Mammoth engaging in a fistfight. Mammoth punched Cyborg in the chest, but there was a loud clang and Mammoth held on to his wrist screaming in pain.
"Like the upgrades?" Cyborg asked the muscular member of the HIVE with a smirk.
We cut to Kid Flash running around the mall, snatching any items that have been stolen and returning them. He returned some clothes to the clothes store. But on the way out, he got surrounded by Billy Numerous and his clones.
Kid Flash tried to go out the other way, but that was surrounded by some more Billy clones. "Come on guys, really?" Groaned Kid Flash. "You're not getting away this time, quick talker!" Said Billy.
Kid Flash tried to run through a wall, but some more clones blocked his way out. "Come on!" Yelled Kid Flash. Kid Flash used his super speed to crash out of the window before any more Billy clones could block him.
We cut to See-More about to retrieve a bag of diamonds, but before he could, his hand suddenly got hex blast.
"I hope you were planning to give them to me. Although flattering, I would've said no." Jinx said. See-More glared at Jinx, looking angry and heart broken. "Traitor!" See-More yelled as he tried to blast Jinx, but Jinx clicked her finger and See-More's mechanical eye electrocuted him and causing him to collapse.
"Shocking." Jinx smiled as she said her little quip. Jinx was about to pick up the diamonds, but Robin used his grappling hook to grapple them to him. "I got them." Robin yelled to her as he charged at Billy. Jinx huffed in anger at Robin's inability to trust her.
We cut to Beast Boy still trying to take out Gizmo. Gizmo was flying off in his jet pack, while Beast Boy was a hawk trying to stop Gizmo. Gizmo punches the Beast Boy hawk and then activates his spider legs to trap Beast Boy.
"Want's wrong snot brain?" Gizmo asked Beast Boy, looking impressed.
Suddenly, Starfire blasted two of Gizmo's spider legs while Raven used her magic to crush the others, causing Gizmo to start falling. Before Gizmo could hit the floor, Starfire caught him. "What is the matter, brain of snot?" Starfire chuckled at her quip while Gizmo stared at Starfire in anger.
We cut to Cyborg and Mammoth duking it out in another fistfight.
"Can you beat me?" Mammoth asked as he deflected a punch from Cyborg. Cyborg then blasted Mammoth, sending him flying into Billy.
The Billy clones got so distracted by this, that they didn't expect Kid Flash passing them and knocking every one of them out. Kid Flash then stopped and shook his hand. "Ow. Ya'll got some unbreakable jaw lines." Kid Flash said while shaking his hand and in a southern accent, mocking Billy's.
We then cut to Jinx cuffing See-More to a banister. "Sorry I had to do this." Jinx said with a bit of sympathy in her voice. "I can't forgive you." See-More said with much hatred in his voice. "Can't blame a girl for liking the fast kind." Jinx said with a shoulder shrug and a smug smile.
Jinx then notices a small diamond earring shining on the floor. Jinx picked it up and put it in her pocket.
"Stealing evidence?" Robin asked with his arms folded. Jinx groaned in annoyance and turned to face her leader. "No, I was putting it in my pocket to keep it safe." Jinx explained.
"I've got it under control, give it to me." Robin ordered. "No, I've got it under control. Just let me return it." Jinx said.
Jinx started to walk for the jewellery store, but Robin grabbed her by the wrist and said "No, I'll return it."
"You only wanna return it because you think I'll keep it to myself." Jinx yelled as she removed her wrist from Robin's grasp.
The other Titans show up watching the argument ensure. "Oh no." Cyborg said as he facepalmed himself. "This is gonna be entertaining." Raven said in her deadpanning voice. "Good thing I got free popcorn." Beast Boy said as he held up his popcorn, taking some handfuls and eating it.
"Let me return it!" Jinx yelled as she and Robin glared at each other while gritting their teeth.
"I'll return it!"
"What do you think I intend to do?"
"You know what you're intending! Give it to me!"
"What do you think I am intending?!"
While the argument ensued, Raven stood not caring, Beast Boy was eating his popcorn with Cyborg, while Starfire and Kid Flash stared at their respective significant other, unsure of what to do.
See-More smiled at the ensuing fight and noticed Kyd Wykkyd from a distance and gave him a nod.
"I think you know!" Yelled Robin. "You think I intend to steal it?!" Yelled Jinx. "Actually, yeah!" Robin replied with his arms folded. Jinx and Robin continued glaring at each other not noticing the Titans watching them.
"Are you two done with the arguing?" Starfire asked sounding quite upset about it. "Yup." See-More replied with a grin as he shot a laser out of his eye intending to hit Robin and Jinx, but the two quickly dodged the blast.
The laser then turned into a portal which Robin and Jinx were confused by at first. "Was that meant to distract us?" Asked Jinx.
Suddenly, Kyd Wykkyd teleported out of nowhere and kicked Robin and Jinx into the portal. "Robin!" Starfire yelled. "Jinx!" Kid Flash yelled as he started running towards Kyd Wykkyd.
But before Kid Flash could grab him, Kyd Wykkyd disappeared after he gave the Titans a sinister grin. Kid Flash then started running for the portal, but it soon closed before he could run into it.
"No!" Kid Flash yelled as he punched the air in anger.
"Wykkyd! You were supposed to help me as well!" See-More yelled.
Before See-More could react, he realised the Titans are now looming over him. "I assume I'm dead meat?" See-More asked while giving a nervous grin. "You may be meat, but you will not be dead." Starfire exclaimed as he eyes glowed a threatening green. "Where is Robin and friend Jinx?"
"Yeah, about that." See-More said while giving off a nervous grin.
We cut to Robin and Jinx crash landing on what appeared to be a tropical island.
The two got up, dusted themselves off and analysed their surroundings and saw trees, overgrown plant life and mountains about 400 feet high.
"Ok. Expected See-More to drop us into a volcano." Said Jinx. "Nice going!" Yelled Robin.
Jinx turned to face her leader with her hands to her hips. "Me? What did I do?!" Jinx yelled. "I saw you talking to See-More, you two planned this!" Robin yelled as he pointed an accusing finger at her.
"So I planned Kyd Wykkyd to kick us both into the portal?"
"They'll come and rescue you, but leave me behind so you can stay with the Titans and dig information about them!"
"Wow! Bit of an over-thinker aren't you?" Jinx said as she rested her hand underneath her chin, looking annoyed. "What does that mean?" Robin asked, as he walking up to Jinx.
"You're just saying that because you want to believe that I could still be evil and therefore, don't trust me. I am no longer with those idiots!"
"What about that earring?" Robin yelled as he tried to reach in her pocket.
Jinx slapped his hand, causing his to pulls his hand out of her pocket. "I was gonna return it." Jinx exclaimed.
"And then take it home." Robin yelled at his teammate as he crossed his arms.
"Maybe by paying if I had any money." Yelled Jinx.
Robin pushed Jinx out of his way and started walking away. "Where are you going?!" Yelled Jinx.
Robin stopped, pulled out his Titan communicator and realised it was busted. "Busted." Robin said to himself.
Jinx pulled her Titan communicator out of her pocket. "Mine's intact." Jinx informed Robin.
Jinx started holding her communicator in the air, intending to find a signal. "No signal." Said Jinx. "Really?" Robin asked in disbelief. "Why? Do you think I'm lying?" Jinx asked her leader while crossing her arms. "I didn't say-"
"You didn't say." You think I can get a signal so I can use this to communicate any member of the HIVE."
"They're only linked to other Titan communicators." Robin pointed out.
"Oh. Right." Jinx said as she stared at her Titan communicator, embarrassed with herself after making that accusation.
"I didn't think you were gonna try and contact the HIVE. I was thinking of a possibility that there is actually connection and you're lying about it." Robin stated. "Don't believe me?!" Yelled Jinx.
Jinx then threw the communicator at Robin, which he caught and saw that she was right, no signal.
When Robin looked up, he saw that Jinx was walking away. "Jinx, where are you going?!" Robin yelled as he started running after her. "Out of here." Jinx answered, not wanting to talk with Robin.
"But you don't know where we're going."
"I don't care." Jinx said as she continued walking with Robin following.
Meanwhile at the Titan's Tower.
See-More is seen chained in his cell while the remaining Titans enter the cell looking like they wanna kill him.
"Uh...hi?" See-More said in a deadpanning voice.
The Titans glared at their prisoner. "Hi?" That's the first thing you say after you've sent our leader and teammate to who knows where?! "Hi?!" Yelled a surprisingly angry Beast Boy. "You will tell us where you made Robin and Jinx go." Starfire ordered See-More in a threatening tone of voice.
"I already told you, I don't know!" Yelled See-More. "I don't believe you for a second." Cyborg said as he shook his head.
"You must. I don't know where I sent them." Yelled See-More. "Tell us, we have ways of telling you." Raven ordered See-More in a threatening tone of voice.
"Yes. We have ways to make you do the telling." Starfire exclaimed. Starfire's anger soon disappeared and turned to face Raven, looking like quite clueless. "Um Raven. What are the ways of the telling we have in the store for him?"
'How about this?' Kid Flash asked with his arms folded.
Kid Flash then uses his super speed to grab See-More and hang him off the tower. See-More was screaming at first but he then stopped once he came to a realisation. "Uh...You do realise my eye can help me float like I'm hanging from a balloon?" See-More pointed out. Kid Flash's intensity soon disappeared after See-More made that statement. "Oh...Right." Said Kid Flash.
Kid Flash then runs back to the cell and chains See-More back to the wall. "Did you hang him by the tower?" Cyborg asked him like he's done it before. "Remind me to never interrogate villains who can float that way, again." Kid Flash said looking annoyed.
"Anymore?" See-More asked looking desperate to go. "I could use the traditional Tamaranean method of torture." Starfire suggested to See-More.
Starfire took a deep breath and then starts doing a scream that sounded like an animal either being choked or crying. The scream caused the Titans covered their ears and cringed, while See-More just cringed. "Is that meant to make me annoyed?" See-More asked.
Starfire stopped screaming and glared at See-More. "That scream was not meant to annoy, it was meant to make you feel fear." Starfire informed their prisoner.
"How frightening." Raven sarcastically said. "Any idea how we can break this guy?" Cyborg asked his team, no idea springing to mind.
"We can abandon him in the Arctic for an hour." Kid Flash suggested. "And let him die by the freezing?" Starfire asked him, not liking the idea. "Point taken." Said Kid Flash.
"I know what to do." Raven said as she approached See-More and lifted her hands up to See-More's head. "What are you doing? Entering my mind?" See-More asked the purple cloaked Titan. "No, you're entering mine." Raven replied as she closed her eyes and pressed her hands against See-More's head.
Suddenly after a few seconds, See-More screamed in terror at the horrors he was witnessing. "I don't know! I don't know! I don't know! I don't know where I sent them!" See-More screamed in terror. Raven lets go of the disturbed See-More's head.
"What did you even show him?" Kid Flash asked Raven, slightly curious. "The disturbing memories I have." Raven replied as she walked back to her team. Kid Flash laughed. "They can't be that disturbing."
"You want me to show you?" Raven asked him intending to put her hands on Kid Flash's head.
Kid Flash looked over the visibly shaken See-More, causing him to have second thoughts. "I'm good." Kid Flash said.
"Did you manage to break him?" Asked Beast Boy. "Yup. And he is being quite truthful." Raven replied with a smirk. "I don't know where I sent them. I usually have something called a location history, so I'll know where I sent them." See-More exclaimed, still slightly panicked.
"Great. Where did you send them?" Asked Cyborg. "Uh...About that." See-More said while giving a nervous smile.
Meanwhile, we see Jinx and Robin still walking the unknown island they are trapped in.
"Do you even know where you're going?" Robin asked his 'alley'
"I don't care. I'm gonna find a way off this island." Jinx replied, harshly. "Don't you mean "we're?" Robin asked.
"Whatever happened with your trust issues you have towards me?"
"Jinx, I don't trust you but we're stuck on an island together. And wether you're a villain or a Titan, I'm not leaving you to die on an island."
"Yeah, you'll reconsider it."
"I won't. You're a teammate and Kid Flash will be quite heartbroken if I left you to die."
"I'd leave you as well, but I don't want Starfire to kill me."
"Trust me, when somebody messes with somebody close to Starfire, she becomes an unstoppable rage force."
The two continued walking until they heard a loud roar. "What was that?" Jinx asked slightly frightened by the roar. "Strangely enough, that sounded like a dinosaur." Robin replied.
"A dinosaur?" Jinx's curiosity then turned into frustration. "Oh, if See-More sent us back in time than I'll kill him."
"I'd tear his eye out." Robin said in a bit of a harsh tone. "That is exactly how I'll kill him." Jinx said.
They later come across a chasm that stretched out very far. Robin and Jinx looked down and saw the water flowing upwards. Jinx throws a rock to see how long the drop is. "That's a long drop." Jinx said to herself.
The two then notice a few vines hanging from a branch. "I got it." Jinx said.
Jinx then jumped from the chasm and grabbed a hold on to the first vine and swung to the next one. Jinx swung from the second one and grabbed on to the final one after letting go of the second one which snapped. Jinx swung from the final one and landed safely on the ledge.
Jinx looked up and saw that the branch looked like it was gonna snap once Robin got on. "He'll make it." Jinx said to herself.
Robin jumped from the chasm and grabbed the vine.
Robin started swinging to gain momentum to swing to the next vine.mRobin let go of the vine he was holding and jumped to the next one. He grabbed on to the next vine, after doing a flip, with his feet.
Jinx stood amazed at Robin's amazing acrobatic skills. Robin soon grabbed on to the vine with his hands, but the branch that was holding the vine snapped and Robin started falling. "Robin!"
Robin pulled his grappling hook out of his pocket and grappled to the ledge of the chasm he was intending to reach. Robin then pulled himself up and stood in front of Jinx.
"You ok?" Jinx asked Robin, quite concerned. But all she got was a glare from Robin. "You knew didn't you?" Robin asked Jinx with an angry tone in his voice
Jinx stared at her teammate in disbelief. "About what?"
"The branch! You knew it was broken!"
"I thought you would've made it!"
"You knew it was gonna snap!"
"Well, I didn't."
Robin pushed her out of his way and continued walking. "Just as we were getting along." Jinx said to herself, very annoyed. Jinx soon followed Robin, still annoyed by his sudden outburst.
We cut back to the Titans tower, where See-More was now on the couch, still tied in chains with the Titans glaring at him.
"I still can't believe you erased your history!" Cyborg yelled in frustration. "I didn't want you to find out where they were." See-More explained.
"We do! And I'm gonna tear your heart out if you don't find out where you sent them" Kid Flash yelled as he pointed at See-More aggressively. "Dude, pretty dark." Beast Boy said, surprised by Kid Flash's threatening tone. "Gotta make him talk somehow." Kid Flash explained.
"We are perhaps using too much of the aggression. Let me try." Starfire said, now with her sweet tone of voice.
Starfire approached See-More and asked him "Do you know any of the locations you could've sent them?"
"Countless." Replied the one eyed HIVE member. "I've memorised every location I've had on my location history."
"Maybe we should have him open up all the portals he knows and we go through them to find Robin and Jinx." Raven suggested. "That don't sound like too much of a bad idea." Said Cyborg. "But that does sound like we'll have to go through a lot of portals." Beast Boy pointed out.
"How much is a lot?" Asked Kid Flash. "A hundred?" Beast Boy replied with a shoulder shrug. "Like a person can remember that amount of locations he's got." Kid Flash said while laughing.
"Are you going to open the portals?" Starfire asked Ses-More. "Ok, if it'll get me out of this madhouse quicker." See-More exclaimed.
The Titans moved out of his way as See-More closed his eye and shot out a lot of portals which took up a lot of space. The Titans stared in awe at how many See-More shot out. In a few minutes, a huge number of portal surrounded the room.
"How many portals are there?" Asked Beast Boy. "I counted a hundred." Raven replied whilst Kid Flash Kid Flash stared at her, amazed. "I guess some people have a great memory." Said Kid Flash.
We cut back to the mysterious island, where Jinx and Robin are still walking.
"Whatever happened to trusting me even though we're both stuck on an island?" Jinx asked with her arms folded. "I might've reconsidered my sentence." Robin said in an anger tone.
"Robin, I swear I didn't know. It was probably bad luck for you."
"Bad luck?" Bad luck?! You cast bad luck onto others and that's what caused the branch to snap. You knew it was unstable, yet you didn't think of telling me!"
"It didn't feel unstable to me."
Robin continued walking in anger whilst Jinx followed. "Robin!" Jinx yelled trying to get his attention, but Robin ignored her.
"We don't even know where we're going, do you have a plan? Or are you just going to keep walking in anger?!" Jinx asked her leader. But instead of replying, Robin said nothing and kept walking. "I assume answer two?" Jinx asked looking annoyed.
Robin soon stopped and Jinx did the same. "What is it? Thought of a plan?" Jinx asked Robin.
"Shhh!" Ordered Robin.
"Why?"
"Shhhhhhhhhhh!"
Jinx made a zipping mouth gesture as they stood still and heard the sound of tremors and felt the ground rumbling beneath their feet.
"Run!" Robin yelled.
Robin and Jinx soon started running as a T-Rex showed up from behind them and roared. "Ok! We are most likely in the past!" Jinx said, looking quite frightened with the dinosaur. "You think?!" Robin asked.
They continued running as the T-Rex continued to follow them. Jinx used her hex powers to open the ground and the T-Rex got it's foot stuck. "Ha!" Yelled Jinx.
The T-Rex pulled it's foot out of the ground continued chasing them. "Oh." Jinx said in disappointment. "Did you know about this as well?" Robin asked in his suspicions tone of voice. "I just said we are definitely in the past!" Jinx pointed out.
Robin threw an explosive birdarang at the T-Rex, but that did nothing despite the explosion.
Suddenly, a pterodactyl swooped over them, trying to grab them. "I'm fine with a dinosaur trying to eat us, not two!" Jinx yelled as she tried to avoid the flying reptile.
Robin threw a birdarang at the T-Rex's feet and it released some ropes which wrapped themselves around it's legs, but it broke the ropes. "Can anything even stop that thing?" Jinx asked.
A pterodactyl soon swooped over them and grabbed Robin with it's feet. "Robin!" Yelled Jinx.
Jinx then tried to hex blast the pterodactyl while trying to run from the T-Rex which was closing in on her. Robin meanwhile, was punching the pterodactyl and that caused it to let him go. Robin landed one of his legs on a rock, causing him to scream in pain due to the impact. "Robin!" Jinx yelled with concern. Jinx started to run up to Robin, trying to get him before the pterodactyl did. Jinx hex blasts the pterodactyl, causing it to be knocked out and crashing behind Jinx.
Jinx then approached Robin, who was screaming in pain. "Leg?" Asked Jinx. "Leg." Robin replied, while gritting his teeth.
The T-Rex started getting closer to them, but it stopped once it saw the pterodactyl. The T-Rex stared at it, while Jinx and Robin stared at it in fear. The T-Rex soon picked up the pterodactyl with it's mouth and walked away with it.
The fear on Robin and Jinx's faces soon disappeared. "Bon appetit." Jinx quipped.
Jinx wrapped one of Robin's arms around her shoulder. "I got this." Robin said as he removed his arm from Jinx's shoulder. "Your leg is broken." Jinx informed Robin. "It's fine." Robin said as he tried walking, but he soon fell.
"What are you gonna do now? Crawl?" Jinx asked with a bit of a smirk on her face.
Robin tried crawling, but it wasn't doing anything at all. Jinx sighed at the sight she was witnessing. "You're gonna need help." Said Jinx. Robin stopped trying to crawl and sighed, realising Jinx was his only hope. "Ok, fine." Robin said.
Jinx walked over to Robin and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Jinx soon started walking, while attempting to carry Robin. "There's a cave up ahead. By the looks of it, the dinosaur won't get in." Jinx said while pointing to a cave just a few feet in front of them. "What about raptors?" Robin asked, slightly concerned. "I can just hex blast them." Replied Jinx with a confident smirk.
"Or a Pachycephalosaurus?"
"Hex blast."
"Or a-"
"Name one more species of dinosaur and I'm gonna make you be their lunch, or dinner, or breakfast, or dessert." Jinx threatened Robin.
We cut back to Titans tower, where we see Starfire exiting a portal looking wet.
Kid Flash exited another portal, wearing a sombrero.
"What happened to you?" Kid Flash asked Starfire, when he noticed her. "I ended up in the ocean of the Pacific." Replied Starfire. "What is with the hat?"
"Ended up in Mexico, took this as a souvenir." Kid Flash replied with a smile, took of the hat and threw it away.
Raven exited another portal with a handful of books. "I don't know why he would've left them at a library. Even if they were, what would've happened to them? Death by paper cut?" Raven said in the deadpanned voice of hers. "What's with the handful of books?" Asked Kid Flash. "They were handing out free books, couldn't resist." Said Raven.
Beast Boy exited another portal looking beaten. "What happened to you?" Asked Raven. "Ended up in Santa Prisca. Got jumped by crazy guys with green going into their backs." Replied Beast Boy. "Ya know, for a place called Santa Prisca I expected it to be a little Christmasy." Beast Boy laughed at his little joke while the Titans and See-More stared at him either annoyed or confused.
"Because Santa Prisca starts with Santa." Beast Boy said trying to explain the joke. "I was laughing so hard, that I preferred to not show it." Raven said sarcastically.
Cyborg jumped out of another portal like he just got chased. "Close it!" Cyborg ordered See-More. The portal Cyborg jumped out of, closed. "Take that polar bear!" Yelled Cyborg. "North Pole?" Asked Raven. "South Pole!" Cyborg replied while wiping snow off of him. "Would've preferred North Pole, least there would be a chance to meet Santa."
The other four portals closed soon closed while the other Titans stared at the others. "Ok, how many are left?" Asked Raven. "Ninety five." See-More replied as he groaned. "Can you move faster? I have places to go, stuff to steal, chaos to cause and a tub of ice cream waiting for me at the base." Demanded See-More.
Kid Flash ran out of the base and returned with a tub of ice cream and a spoon. "I guess the ice cream got impatient." Kid Flash said as he threw the ice cream and spoon at See-Moore's head. The Titans stared at Kid Flash, unimpressed at his actions. "I think he deserves it for trying to help us." Kid Flash explained.
We cut back to the mysterious island, where we see Robin sitting in a cave looking at his broken leg. Robin touched the broken leg and then winced, obviously in pain.
"Don't touch it, it'll probably make things worse." Jinx ordered as she entered the cave with fire wood. "Why did you save my life?" Robin asked, curious. "Nobody gets left behind, not even a teammate who happens to be an ex-enemy." Jinx replied.
Jinx placed the firewood on the ground and blasted it, setting it ablaze. Jinx then sat next to Robin and the two started to stare at the fire. "How bad is your leg?" Jinx asked while looking at it. "Think I might've broken a bone." Robin replied. "You sure?" Asked Jinx. "Doesn't look broken."
Jinx approached Robin and tried to put her hands on his leg. "No!" Robin ordered. "Robin, even as a HIVE member I still had to make sure no bones were broken." Jinx explained. Jinx soon started to feel Robin's leg to find the broken bone, while Robin looked uncomfortable as Jinx continued to rub his leg.
Jinx stopped and said "You're gonna scream."
"Huh?" Robin asked.
Jinx then twisted Robin's leg and he screamed. Robin then took heavy breaths after Jinx performed that action. He stared at Jinx, in pain and anger. "It was just dislocated." Jinx explained. Robin's faced changed to awfully surprised, due to Jinx's generosity. "Try walking." Jinx suggested.
Robin carefully stands himself up and starts to walk slowly and carefully. "Hey, thanks." Robin said with a smile. "It's probably best if you sit down and rest." Jinx suggested. "Ok, Jinx." Robin said, taking Jinx's advice. Robin then sat next to Jinx and started moving his leg, admiring Jinx's medical skills.
"No need to show off." Jinx said with a bit of a chuckle. "Sorry." Robin said as he stopped swinging it.
The two continued to watch the fire in pure silence. "Jinx." Robin said trying to break the awkward silence. Jinx turned to face Robin, to acknowledge him. "Yes?" Jinx asked.
Robin took a deep breath, feeling nervous about the words he wants to say. "I'm...I'm...I'm...I'm..." Robin stuttered trying to find the right words. "Spit it out bird boy." Jinx demanded, looking annoyed. Robin took a final deep breath and said "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Jinx asked. "For thinking you aren't worthy to be a hero. You are, Jinx." Robin replied with a small smile. "I know it's obvious to why you thought so. Me being a bit of a bad girl and all." Jinx said. "You aren't any longer, I struggled to believe it at first. But after seeing you save my life, I realised you do wanna change your ways." Robin said. "If I didn't meet him, I'd probably be frozen in ice like those idiots were." Jinx said, obviously referring to Kid Flash.
Robin laughed at the thought of the HIVE being frozen. "Least you wouldn't have heard Beast Boy's brain freeze pun." Robin said. Jinx groaned in annoyance, remembering that awful pun Beast Boy. "I've heard worse from Leo." Jinx said.
"Who's Leo?" Robin asked, slightly curious. "My ex. Good at nothing; bad at relationships, puns, being a villain and committing crimes without a trace." Jinx explained.
"I've seen you with Kid Flash a lot, you sure there isn't anything between you and him?" Robin asked giving a cheeky smile. "We've been talking about us being a couple. We aren't together in that way, but we have been talking." Jinx explained.
"I'm assuming you quit the HIVE and joined the Titans just to be with him?" Robin asked while smiling. Jinx chuckled at Robin's theory. "Not everything happens because of a boy, Robin." Jinx replied with a smile. "I left the HIVE for a better life. And I joined the Titans so you could help me."
Robin was stunned at Jinx's last sentence. "What made you think I can help?" Asked Robin. "Well, I read the Titan's autobiography written by Cyborg and it said you helped them." Jinx explained. "You helped Starfire adapt to Earth, you helped Cyborg to not hide who he is, you helped Raven be a little more confident and you helped Beast Boy to be more responsible. I just need help adapting to being a hero. Cause there is a part of me that wanted me to steal that earring, which I still have."
Jinx pulled the earring out of her pocket and handed it to Robin. "Wait, you still wanna do bad?" Robin asked, curious. "I don't, but there's a voice in my head that's telling me to do it and that same voice told me to leave you on this island." Jinx replied with a lot of shame in her voice.
Jinx looked away from Robin and sighed. "You probably don't think I'm a Titan now." Jinx said, feeling sad and ashamed. "But did you try and return it?" Robin asked the ex-HIVE.
Jinx turned to face Robin and said "I did."
Robin smiled. "Than you're making progress. You're ignoring that voice to tell you to do awful things. Kid Flash was right about you, you can do good. I didn't have faith in you before, now I do." Jinx was surprised by Robin's words but soon smiled at him.
Back at the Titan's base.
Cyborg exited a portal, covered in grease. "What happened to you?" See-More asked admiring the mess Cyborg was covered in. "Slipped on some grease and got crushed by cans of it." Cyborg replied while wiping the grease off of him.
Starfire exited another portal covered in sweat. "What was with the tribe I was running from and wanting to feast on me?"
Raven exited another portal, holding a wand? "I assume you rob magic shops as well?" Raven asked. "Did you steal that?" See-More asked the sorceress. "Do you think I don't have money?" Raven answered the question in her deadpan voice.
Kid Flash exited another portal, wearing a kilt. "Boy, Nessie was a handful. Advice: Never eat the haggis, absolutely awful."
Beast Boy exited another portal covered in clown makeup and laughing. "That was funny." Said Beast Boy. "Why do you have your face painted?" Asked Cyborg. "They had a face paint stand, couldn't resist." Beast Boy replied with a smile.
The five portals closed.
"How many left?" Cyborg asked See-More. "Five." Answered See-More looking quite ready to leave. "If neither of them are in either of these portals, than I'm gonna throw you in one of them." Kid Flash threatened See-More. "They are definitely in one of them, trust me." See-More said with a desperate tone in his voice.
Meanwhile, Robin and Jinx were still watching the fire while cooking some leaves.
"You couldn't find any food?" Jinx asked, not happy with the choice of food. "It was all I could find." Replied Robin. "We could've eaten a dinosaur." Stated Jinx.
Robin stared at Jinx with a look that said "I wasn't gonna kill it."
"Well, you were his sidekick." Jinx said, referring to Batman. "I'm not anymore. Me and him have had disagreements and I failed him a few times. There's one I don't forgive myself for." Robin said while looking ashamed. "What is it?" Jinx asked, slightly curious.
Robin sighed like he hasn't told anyone about this sort of thing. "His name was Jason Todd." Answered Robin. Jinx stared at Robin like she knew what he was talking about.
Suddenly, there was a growl and a group of raptors burst into the cave. Robin and Jinx stood up, to try and back away from the raptors. "Raptors!" Robin shouted.
A raptor charged at them, but Jinx hex blasted it. More raptors charged at them, but Jinx used her hex powers to make the fire rise up; which caused the raptors to get distracted. Jinx and Robin continued to back away from the raptors, but they soon realised they reached a dead end.
"Dead end!" Yelled Robin. "Crud!" Yelled Jinx.
The fire soon died down, causing the raptors to move up to them. Robin readies a birdarng to fight back, while Jinx readies her hex powers to blast them.
Suddenly, they heard a roar of a T-Rex. The raptors all turned to where the roar came from, which was behind them. The growled at each other, looking like they were communicating; before running out of the cave. Robin lowers his weapon, while Jinx tones down her hex powers.
"That was close." Said Jinx as she wiped away the sweat from her head.
Suddenly, a green T-Rex pokes it's nose in the cave. Jinx and Robin stared at it in fear, before Robin ran up to it and kicked it, causing the T-Rex to yell "Ow!"
Robin stood shocked once he realised who the T-Rex was. "Beast Boy!"
Beast Boy turned into his regular form, while holding onto his nose. "Who did you think it was?" Asked Beast Boy. "How did you get here?" Jinx asked while smiling. "See-More did. The Titans forced him to help us find you two and here you are." Explained Beast Boy. "Did it take long to find us?" Asked Robin. "I was here for two hours trying to find you and I did." Said Beast Boy looking annoyed about his nose and happy to see his teammates still alive.
"Let's get out of here, I think I've had enough of dinosaurs for one day." Said Robin. "Well..." Beast Boy walked out of the cave and turned into a T-Rex. "...Step right up for a free dino ride, if you wanna survive from being eaten."
Robin and Jinx smiled, and climbed up Beast Boy's tail and saddled up on Beast Boy's back.
Meanwhile at Titan's base.
Starfire, Cyborg, Raven and Kid Flash stood in anticipation over Beast Boy's return. Beast Boy, now in regular form, exited the portal with Robin and Jinx.
Starfire and Kid Flash smiled like excitable children upon seeing them return, while Cyborg and Raven just smiled.
"Robin!" Starfire yelled as she flew to Robin and gave him a ginormous hug, which he returned. Kid Flash attacked Jinx with a surprise hug, which she returned. "Great to see you alive and well." Said Kid Flash. "Gladly." Jinx said, sounding thrilled upon seeing Kid Flash again.
"Kid Flash, I know she's your girlfriend but you've got faster legs than us." Robin said while smiling. Robin then threw Kid Flash the earring, which he caught.
"Girlfriend?!" See-More yelled in shock and jealousy. Kid Flash and Jinx smirked at each other, intending to pull See-More's leg. "Yeah." Said Jinx.
Kid Flash ran out of the building and returned in five seconds. "They've been goofing around for a long time." Cyborg said with a huge smile on his face.
See-More sat on the couch, unable to take this news. "Jinx...I...I...I can't believe...what I..." See-More stuttered as Raven picked him up by his collar. "Welcome to the friend zone, pal." Said Raven as she threw See-More into one of his portals, just as it was closing.
"He'll get over it." Cyborg said. Beast Boy approached Kid Flash and Jinx, grinning. "So, are you two official?" Beast Boy asked with a huge grin on his face which just gave him a death glare from Kid Flash and Jinx, obviously annoyed by the question; while Beast Boy chuckled.
Robin soon approached Jinx. "Jinx, let me properly welcome you to the Titans." Robin offered Jinx a handshake, which she accepted. "You've proven a lot to me today."
The two soon stopped shaking hands as Kid Flash smirked at Robin. "What made her get on your good side?" Asked the smug speedster. "She isn't bad anymore, you were right." Robin replied.
Kid Flash then blinked at Robin, like he expected him to say something else. Robin did an annoyed sigh at his close friend. "You were right, like you always are."
Kid Flash shook his head.
"Most of the time?"
Kid Flash nodded his head.
"Come friends and boyfriend, let us rejoice on this glorious occasion with the pizza." Starfire said, thrilled upon her boyfriend finally getting used to Jinx being around.
"Boo-Yah!" Yelled Cyborg. "I'm having the veggie toppings." Beast Boy said as he started running for the door. "Might go for them as well." Cyborg said and soon followed Beast Boy.
The rest of the Titans, apart from Jinx, all started to exit the tower to get pizza. "If mine has pepperoni on top again, than somebody is gonna pay." Beast Boy yelled from outside the lounge.
"I'll catch up in a sec guys!" Jinx yelled. "Ok, don't be long!" Kid Flash said as he and the rest of the Titans left the tower.
Jinx's smile soon turned to a frown once she thought back to Robin mentioning Jason Todd. Jinx stared at the window, possibly fearing the future.
