Shizukana's P.O.V.

I pulled out my kunai and scanned the bridge for any movement.

I noticed Sasuke do the same. The both of us looked at each other and nodded.

"Guard Tazuna." Sensei said making all of us come close together.

I watched as the mist thickened making it impossible to see what was in front of us.

I tightened my grip on the kunai, when I heard footsteps. Two people. Zabuza and his accomplice.

"Sorry to keep you waiting Kakashi." Zabuza said through the mist. "I see you still have those brats with you."

Both Zabuza and his ally came into view.

I took a defensive stance when I saw both the ninjas. Seems like Zabuza healed very quickly.

"That brat is still trembling." Zabuza mocked as he made over a dozen clones appear around us.

Sasuke smirked. "I'm trembling with excitement."

"Sasuke, go." Sensei said making Sasuke run towards each and every clone and stab them with his kunai.

Once he was done, Zabuza laughed very loudly. "Seems like he saw that they were clones. Haku, you've got competition." Zabuza said looking at the person next to him.

"It appears so." Haku said stepping forward.

"I was right. The mask was just a lie." Sensei said making Tazuna nod his head nervously.

Haku suddenly started twisting around tornado and made his way to Sasuke, who braced himself for an attack.

Haku lunged a senbon at Sasuke who blocked it with his kunai.

Sasuke and Haku kept on attacking each other over and over again. Sasuke seemed to be holding up but if Sensei was right, then that boy could be Anbu level.

I moved closer to Tazuna who flinched at the sound of metal clashing together with the Senbon.

I looked over at Sensei and Zabuza to find them both staring at each other maliciously.

I looked over at Haku when he started speaking.

"We are here for the bridge builder." He said. "If you back down, we won't have to kill you."

"Save it." Sasuke said while blocking a senbon which was headed towards his face.

"You're making a mistake. You will not be able to keep up with my speed. I already have gained two advantages." Haku said making me narrow my eyes.

"And what's that?" Sasuke asked.

"Firstly, we are surrounded by water." Haku said calmly. "Secondly, I have blocked one of your hands. Therefore, you can only defend my attacks with one hand."

Haku then started making.
hand signs with one hand. My eyes widen at that and I heard Sensei gasp. It's extremely difficult to weave signs with just one hand. Of there is s single mistake, then his hand might explode with chakra.

"Secret Jutsu: 1000 needles of death."

The water puddles around Sasuke rose to the air and formed into Senbon.

They launched themselves at Sasuke who blocked as many as he threw his shuriken at Haku. A split second later, Sasuke was behind Haku and kicked him in the face, sending him back towards Zabuza and Kakashi Sensei.

"Thought you were quicker, huh?" Sasuke taunted. "What else are you wrong about?"

"You should have thought twice before labeling then as brats." Sensei said making me look at him. "That was bound to bring out Sasuke's attitude. He's the best young fighter Konoha has."

"Shizukana has one of the sharpest and more calculating mind. Not to mention her use of strategies." Sensei said looking at me.

I nodded in approval.

"Last but not least, Naruto Uzumaki. Konoha's #1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja." Sensei said with a chuckle. "You shouldn't have messed with them."

Zabuza let out a demonic laugh. "Well then, seems like we will be the victims of this fight. Haku, get on with it."

"Right." Haku nodded. Suddenly the temperature dropped and ice started forming around Sasuke and Haku.

The ice created some type of mirrors that shaped themselves to form dome like structure.

"I'm sorry it has come to this." Haku said before he merged himself with one of the mirrors.

I couldn't see what was going on but I managed to hear what Zabuza was saying. "Your fight is with me. That boy can't stand a chance against Haku's jutsu. He's finished."

Sensei and I made eye contact. He nodded his head signaling me to do something.

I looked back at Tazuna. "Alright, I'm gonna go and try to help Sasuke. Take this." I said handing him a kunai. "My clone will protect you but the kunai is just in case."

I made a shadow clone and left it with Tazuna.

I pulled out a kunai and slowly made my way nearer to the dome.

Best I stay outside.

I peeked through the gaps to find Sasuke being attacked by over a dozen senbon. Sasuke dodged as many as he could but some of the senbon impaled his body.

The mirrors allow Haku to transport around Sasuke. Providing him with a defense. All the senbon aren't real so maybe the mirror helps to give the illusion of so many Senbon so, that Sasuke can't see which one is real.

I punched one of the mirrors. Nothing happened. I tried again with chakra laced around my fist only for a tiny crack to appear. What am I going to do?

3rd person P.O.V.

Shizukana backed away from the mirror when she heard her teammates 's pained cry.

Slow down the senbon. That will help Sasuke. Shizukana focused on slowing down only the senbon. The three dots appeared below her eyes.

Meanwhile, Sasuke deflected some of the incoming Senbon when suddenly, they seemed to freeze in time.

The Uchiha froze in confusion before getting rid of them.

Both Sasuke and Haku were confused at the situation. Haku kept on sending Senbon which once again froze when they were about to reach him.

Haku looked around the bridge while Sasuke was busy removing the senbon.

Haku's eyes narrowed when he saw Shizukana closing her eyes and focusing. This will not do.

Kakashi and Zabuza kept on attacking over and over. Zabuza's sword came down on Kakashi as the Jonin dodged it in the last second.

Sasuke looked up to find Haku making his way towards Shizukana.

"Watch out!" Sasuke yelled making Shizukana open her eyes and dodge the senbon which was coming her way. She didn't see the hands that were about to pull her into the mirrors.

Kakashi and Zabuza paused when they heard the Uchiha yell out. Kakashi ran to grab Shizukana but Zabuza grabbed the silver-haired Jonin and pulled him down.

Shizukana's eyes widened when she was pulled through the mirror. She gave out a pained cry as her entire body froze up.

She lost her focus making the Senbon resume at its normal speed, impaling the injured Uchiha.

Sasuke coughed out blood as Shizukana crash landed next to him. Sasuke went to help her up but retracted his hand at the cold feeling of her skin.

"I do not know how you did it but I can't let that happen again." Haku said going back to sending Senbon at the genin.

Shizukana shivered in the cold as she felt pain all over her body.

Sasuke kept deflecting the Senbon heading their way with a kunai. He hissed in pain when one of the senbon hit his arm, making it go limp.
Shizukana shook away the pain as she stood up and looked at Sasuke who was resembling a porcupine.

"Sasuke, have you tried the fireball jutsu?" Shizukana asked Sasuke who in response made hand signs.

He let out a stream of fire which hit the mirrors but appeared to have no effect.

"Well, that's out of the plan." Shizukana mumbled. She took out a kunai and threw it at the image of Haku only for it to bounce back.

Sasuke and Shizukana were helpless until three shuriken flew out of nowhere and hit Haku in the face, making the masked boy fall down.

"Naruto Uzumaki is here to help." Naruto voice boomed out of nowhere.
