The door opened while Connor, Murphy and Romeo walked in the room and Romeo closed the door. Louisa was practicing shooting pool as she turned and she went to sit on the end of the pool table. She saw the anger Murphy's face and the frustration in Connor's eyes and Romeo looked guilty about something.

"I told you I was sorry," Romeo said.

"You nearly got us kill!" Murphy said then he looked at Connor. "Both of you!"

"Hey! My plan was perfect!" Connor said.

"No, it was stupid!"

Connor stormed toward Murphy when Louisa got between them and she held the pool stick in her hands.

"Stop before you say or do something you'll regret," she said and the twins looked at each other. Both of them knew she was right as Connor sighed and Murphy lowered his head. "Now, tell me what happened."

Connor explained his plan then he told her what happened when they raided the Chinese drug warehouse and her eyes widened.

"How the hell did you know what heroin tastes like?" she asked.

"That's what I asked him," Murphy said.

"Fine," Connor sighed while he looked at Murphy. "Do you remember Joe Drake?"

"Aye, he used t'work with us at th'factory."

"Well, one day, I caught him in th'bathroom an' he had summat on th'edge of th'sink. He was usin' his lighter t'heat summat on a spoon he must've gotten from th'cafeteria. I asked him what he was doin' an' he told me he was cookin' summat. I asked him what it was an' he told me it was heroin. I saw some white powder on th'mirror he was usin' an' I dipped my finger in th'powder. That's when I took a little taste. I didn't like it, so I spit it out."

"Was that th'day you were actin' really weird an' you couldn't sleep?" Murphy asked and he nodded.

"What happened to this Drake guy?" Romeo asked.

"He died."

"Ah."

"What did you do with the drugs?" Louisa asked. Connor explained as she nodded and she lowered the pool stick onto the top of the pool table. "What now?"

"We still need t'find Concezio Yakaveytta," Murphy said.

"Do I want to know how you're going to do that?"

"No, you don't."

"Well, I'm gonna go get something to eat. Do you guys want anything?"

"I wouldn't mind a pizza," Romeo said with a grin.

"Aye, that sounds good," Connor said.

"Pizza, it is," she said then she left the room. Connor noticed the look on his twin's face as he walked to Murphy and Murphy sighed.

"What's wrong?" Connor asked.

"It's nothin'," Murphy said.

"Bullshit."

"I don't want t'talk about it," Murphy said and he left the room. Romeo looked from Connor to the door then back and Connor sighed, going to spread out on the couch.

Louisa has finished ordering the pizza when she saw Murphy walking toward her and she leaned against the bar.

"You're worried, aren't you?" she asked and she stood in front of him. "You're worried that things are going to go to shit and something will either happened to you, Connor, Romeo or me."

"How did you know?" he asked.

"I've been married to you long enough to know how that mind of yours works."

He moved in to hug her as she held him and he placed his chin on the top of her head.

"Did you remember t'order garlic sticks an' dippin' sauce?" he asked and she laughed into his chest, nodding her head.

A few days later, Connor, Murphy and Romeo found out where some of Concezio Yakaveytta's men were, but they had to be rescued from Ottilio Panza by FBI Agent Eunice Bloom. What surprised them was her arrival at McGinty's and she told them she was on their side.

"You're on our side?" Connor asked.

"Yep," Eunice said and she brushed some of her blonde hair off her shoulders. She turned when the door to the stairs to the storeroom opened and Louisa entered the room. "Who the hell is this?"

"I told you t'stay upstairs," Murphy said as he walked to Louisa.

"I thought she had left," Louisa said, looking at Eunice.

"Who is she?!" Eunice demanded as she walked to them and Murphy placed Louisa behind him.

"I'm his wife," Louisa said, showing her the wedding ring.

"Bullshit. The information I have on the Saints say nothing about a wife."

"Then you need t'update your information," Connor said while he and Romeo walked to Murphy.

"Does she know what you two do for a living?"

"We don't keep secrets from each other," Louisa said.

"In other words, aye, she does," Murphy said.

"Great," Eunice sighed as she rolled her eyes.

"Who is she?" Louisa asked. Murphy took her to the other side of the room as he explained and she nodded her hear a few times. "Do you trust her?"

"Like with Smecker, we don't have a choice," Murphy said.

"If you two are done, can we get on with this?" Eunice asked and they walked back to her. Murphy held Louisa against him as Eunice explained what they are going to do next and Louisa slid her hands over his hands.

The next day, Louisa was introduced to Detectives Dolly, Duffy and Greenly. She tried hard not to laugh as she and the twins hid behind the bar while Eunice talked with the detectives, but she broke out laughing after the twins stood up and they squirted the detectives with beer. She went to help Doc make them something to eat while Eunice explained things to the detectives and Louisa and Murphy told them how they met.

"Where are you going?" Louisa asked while the twins and Romeo armed themselves and she sat on the end of the pool table.

They had shown her their new guns and Murphy showed her how to properly hold the gun. Connor showed her the ropes he had bought and she smiled at the rant Murphy had about Connor and his needs for ropes. She also saw the smiles the twins gave each other when Romeo showed her the guns he picked and she had given them a warning look.

"We found out where Yakavetta is," Connor said. He told her what they found out as she nodded her head from time to time and Romeo sat on the end of the pool table.

"I promise I'll take care of them, Lou," Romeo assured her. "But, if something happens, I knock three times on the door and I'll give you a codeword to know it's me."

"What sort of codeword?" Murphy asked, putting on the black Navy peacoat.

"I'm not telling you," he said then he leaned close to whisper in Louisa's right ear. "Ding-dong."

Louisa nodded as she watched them leave then she walked to the door, locking it.

A short time later, the twins and Romeo returned and she sat on Murphy's lap as Connor told her what they did. Connor and Romeo went downstairs to celebrate while Murphy went to rest on the couch and she snuggled down between him and the couch cushion. She placed her head against his chest as his heart thrummed in her ear and he wrapped his arms around her.

"So, it's over?" Louisa asked.

"Aye, I think so," Murphy said while his voice growled in her ear.

"Do you want to go back to the homestead?"

"No," he said with a shake of his head.

"Where do you want to go?"

"Well, I always wanted t'see London."

"Yeah, we could go there. And when I say "we", that includes Connor and Romeo."

His chest vibrated as he softly laughed and she moved her hand over his stomach.

"Can we go see that rock thing you took a photo of durin' your last trip t'London?"

"Yes, we can go there."

"What about that lake with th'monster in it? Can we go there?"

"Yes, but I don't think there's really a monster."

Murphy yawned while his eyes closed and she listened to his breathing evening out. She looked up at him then she placed her head down and she closed her eyes.

Louisa was coming down the stairs to the storeroom as she looked at the list of supplies and she placed the small writing pad in her jeans pocket. Doc had to go to visit a friend who was in the hospital and she assured him she'd look after the bar until he returned. Suddenly, she heard a knock on the delivery door as she looked into the bar and she saw Murphy, Connor and Greenly confronting the man who had framed them. She heard the knock again, but the pattern had changed and she recognized the knock. She ran to the door when she opened the door and Noah saw the fear in her eyes.

"Where are they?" he whispered. She pointed to the bar as he walked by her then she closed the door. She slid down the door as she placed her fingers in her ears, but she could just hear the sound of gunfire. She closed her eyes as she prayed for Connor, Murphy, Noah and Greenly's safety and she started rocking back and forth. She wasn't sure how long it was before the gunfire stopped when someone touched her hands and she screamed.

"Hush now," Noah said. He sat down next to her and she was surprised when he wrapped his arms around her and he pulled her to his side.

"Is she alright, Da?" Connor asked while he and Murphy ran to her and he and Murphy knelt down in front of Louisa.

"Aye, I think so."

"Lou?" Murphy said, lightly carding her hair and she looked at him. She saw the sadness in his eyes as she moved to him and he pulled her in for a hug.

"Where's Greenly?" she asked, looking toward the door leading to the bar.

"He's dead, lass," Noah said. She started crying as Murphy rocked her and she buried her face into his neck.

"Da, what is goin' on? Why are you here?" Connor asked. Noah looked at the three of them when he bent his legs up and he placed his wrists on his knees. They listened as he told his tale then he lowered his head.

"Christ," Connor whispered.

"Lord's name," Murphy warned.

"What now?" Louisa asked.

"We are goin' after th'Roman," Noah said.

"We need t'get Romeo first," Connor said as he explained who Romeo was and Murphy heard the sounds of sirens.

"We gotta go," Murphy said while they got to their feet and he held Louisa against him. Louisa turned as they hugged then he lightly held onto her upper arms. "Go back upstairs."

"No, she can't do that. Th'police will find her," Noah said.

"We can't take her with us," Connor said.

"You're right," Noah said while he walked to her, but Murphy drew his gun. "Either use it or put it away."

"Stay away from her!" Murphy warned.

"I thought we were over this. He isn't gonna harm her," Connor said.

"He's right," Noah said as he removed a piece of paper from his black Navy peacoat and he handed her the piece of paper. "Go t'this address. Tell 'em I sent you."

She nodded as she placed the piece of paper in her jeans pocket and Connor opened the door. He closed the door behind them after they left the bar and Murphy hugged her. She quickly kissed his lips then she watched them run down the alley. She ran the other way to the end of the alley and she saw the police cars heading down the street. She ran back down the alley as she headed in the same direction as Noah and the twins and she sent a silent prayer for their safety.

Eunice couldn't believe how quickly everything fell apart.

She had been dismissed from the case.

Connor, Murphy and Romeo had gone to confronted the Roman, but the FBI agent who took over the case had figured out where he was and they all were involved in a deadly shoot out.

The Roman was killed, but so were several FBI agents and, from the information she had been able to gather, so was the vigilante called "Il Duce"

"Why the fuck was he doing there?" she grumbled.

Connor, Murphy and Romeo had been injured in the shootout and they had been taken into custody.

She knew she had to go into hiding now and she had dyed her hair black.

What she didn't expect was to be contacted by Smecker and he offered her a deal.

He knew the Saints had been taken to Hoag Maximum Security Prison and he wanted to break them out so they could continue their work.

"How are we going to do that?"

"I asked myself th'same question," Sibeal said as he walked closer.

"Where is Smecker?"

"He's on th'phone. He tryin' t'find people who are willin' t'help him free th'Saints."

"What is his obsession with them?"

"He believes in their callin'."

"I get that, but this is… This is beyond their calling."

"Don't you believe what they are doin' is necessary?"

"Yeah, I do believe what they're doing is necessary."

"Then what's botherin' you?"

"I guess it's Il Duce. What was he doing there?"

"He was gettin' his revenge."

"His revenge? What did the Saints do to him?"

"They did nothin'. He was after th'Roman."

"What did the Roman do?"

"He took his family from him."

"The Roman killed his family?"

"No. He is th'reason Il Duce spent twenty-five years in prison. He framed him an' his wife had t'raise his sons alone."

"How do you know all this?"

"Noah… Il Duce… He was my older brudder."

"He was?!"

"Aye. He was also th'father of th'Saints."

"He was their dad?!"

Sibeal nodded as she sighed and she lightly shook her head.

"I remember visitin' him while he was in prison. Th'only words he spoke had to do with his sons. He wanted t'know if they were safe. If they were healthy. If they were happy. He told me time an' again that he hoped they would never have t'be a part of this life. But God works in ways none of us are privileged t'fully understand."

"I see, but that doesn't explain Smecker."

"I believe he gets off on what they do."

"You mean sexually?"

"Aye."

"What if his rescue plan doesn't work?"

"Then all of us are dead."

Eunice felt her stomach falling as she sighed and he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Have faith, lass."

She nodded when she remembered Louisa and her eyes widened.

"Oh shit," she whispered and she headed for the door.

"Where are you goin'?!"

"I can't tell you."

She left the room as she headed down the hallway then she stopped after she walked by one of the rooms. She backed up as she saw Louisa sitting on the chair by the window and her feet were tucked under her legs. She was reading when she felt like she was being watched and Louisa looked up.

"How the hell….?!" Eunice whispered as she walked in the room and Louisa got up. Eunice was surprised when Louisa pointed a gun at her and Sibeal appeared in the doorway.

"Put th'gun down, lass. She's not gonna hurt you," he said, walking in the room with his hands up in surrender. Eunice turned to look at him as Louisa walked to Sibeal, but she still had the gun pointed at Eunice.

"Where…?! Where did she come from?"

"My brudder sent her t'me before he an' th'Saints went after th'Roman."

"Then you know who she is?"

"Aye, I do."

"Has Smecker seen her?"

"Smecker's dead," Louisa said.

"It appears he faked his death," Sibeal said.

Louisa went silent for a few seconds when she lowered the gun and she crossed her arms over chest.

"Son of a bitch."

"He is not going to be happy once he finds out one of the Saints is married," Eunice said.

'The only way he'll find out is if you tell him," Louisa said, pointing the gun at her.

"I won't."

"Do you know where they are? He won't tell me," she said, pointing the gun at Sibeal.

"You haven't?" Eunice asked, looking at him.

"I didn't want her t'worry," Sibeal said. Eunice nodded as she looked at the doorway and she pressed her lips into a thin line.

"Go wait out in the hall. If you see Smecker, stall him."

Nodding, Sibeal walked out into the hallway and he closed the door behind him. Louisa didn't lower the gun as Eunice crossed her arms over her chest and she shook her head.

"Where are they?" Louisa asked with her finger wrapped around the trigger.

"They're in prison."

Louisa felt her stomach dropping, but she didn't lower the gun and Eunice blinked her eyes a few times.

"So, they're alive?" Louisa asked.

"The Saints are, yeah. Their friend, on the other hand, is…"

"He's dead?" she asked as memories of Rocco filled her head.

"No, but he's in a coma."

"What about…?"

"What about what?"

"Never mind."

"If you really are his wife, you know about Il Duce, don't you?"

"Yeah, I know him."

"He's dead."

Louisa lowered the gun as she walked to the chair and she sat down. She placed her forearms on her thighs and the gun pointed to the floor.

"Shit," Louisa whispered and Eunice walked to her. Eunice knelt down next to the chair as Louisa looked at her and Louisa blinked the tears from her eyes. "Are you sure they're alive?"

"Well, they got shot, but, yeah, they're alive."

"Where are they?"

"They are in Hoag Maximum Security Prison. But not for long. We're going to break them out," Eunice said then she smiled. "Wanna help rescue them?"

"Hell yeah," Louisa said, grinning.

Hoag Maximum Security Prison

The soft beeping from the heart monitor woke him as Murphy opened his eyes and he looked up at the ceiling. The bullet wound to his right shoulder hurt and the bullet wound to his left calf screamed when he tried to move his leg. But it was the bullet wound to his left side near his ribs that had woke him up. His mind replayed the gun fight with the FBI agents after they had found the Roman and he could feel the bullets tearing into him.

"Murphy," Connor whispered and Murphy moved his eyes to look at him. Connor hadn't been injured as much as he was. He had a bullet wound to his right shoulder and a bullet wound to his stomach on the right side. "Are you alright?"

"My side hurts," Murphy whispered. "How's Romeo?"

Connor glanced over at Romeo lying on the bed with an oxygen mask over his nose and mouth and the light from the heart monitor screen moved up and down.

"I heard th'nurse talkin' with one of th'guards. He's in a coma."

"Did they say if he'll wake up?"

"Nope."

They went silent as Murphy carefully sighed and he blinked his eyes a few times.

"Do you think they'll put us in separate cellblocks?" Murphy asked.

"They might," Connor said.

They went silent again when Connor felt the heartache and worry coming from his twin and he turned his head to Murphy.

"She's fine," Connor assured him.

"How do you know that!? What if Yakavetta's men found her!?" Murphy asked.

"They didn't know about her."

"What about Bloom? She knew about her."

"Aye, you're right, but you gotta remember Da sent her away before we left McGinty's."

"But we don't know where he sent her?"

"He might have sent her to th'docks. Fer all we know, she's on Cromms' boat an' is sailin' back t'Ireland."

For a third time, they went silent and Murphy half-closed his eyes.

"Da shouldn't have sent her here," Murphy said.

"He wanted her t'be with you."

"Aye, but now she's alone with no one t'look after her."

"He could have told her t'go Ma's."

"Then he put both of them in danger."

"What about Uncle? He'll make sure they're safe."

"You're right, but I still feel like this is all my fault."

"How can it be your fault!?"

"If she hadn't come back into my life, she would be…"

"She would be dead! Or did you ferget why she came t'Boston in th'first place?!"

"No, I haven't fergotten."

"An' she would still be blind."

"Aye," he said with a nod when he saw the guard walking to the beds and they looked at him.

"What are you two talking about?" the guard asked and they saw he hand his hand on the handle of the gun in the holster on his right hip.

"Nothin' much," Connor said.

"Well, go to sleep."

"Not t'be a smart ass, but why? It's not like we have anythin' t'do in th'mornin'," Murphy said, grinning.

"Go. To. Sleep."

"Could you at least go check t'see if th'nurse is around? He's in pain," Connor asked.

"No, I can't," the guard said then he walked back to the door. The twins looked at each other as they had a silent conversation then Murphy looked at the ceiling and his eyes closed.

"Night, Murphy," Connor said, closing his eyes.

"Night, Connor," Murphy said and he made a silent prayer for Louisa to stay. Sighing, he winced then he drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
