Shizukana's P.O.V
It was time for me to start training. I had already researched some jutsus that I found interesting from the library.
I walked through Konoha trying to find the energetic blond. Naruto's experience on Shadow clones might help me on this.
I first tried the Ramen shop but he was no where to be found. I then checked the training grounds but couldn't find him.
He wasn't at the academy nor was he at his apartment. I sighed before turning towards the library.
I kicked a stone of the ground but paused when I heard an obnoxious laugh. I walked towards the source to find Naruto and a man with white hair near the Hot Springs.
Naruto was trying to walk on water while the Old man was peeking through the bamboo walls. I grimaced in disgust when the old man started giggling.
I walked over to Naruto and stood near the edge of the water. "Naruto." I called out to him, making Naruto lose concentration and fall into the water.
He popped his head to the surface and looked at me. "Shizukana-chan." He said swimming towards me. I stepped back not wanting to get wet when Naruto started shaking the water from his body.
"I have a question to ask you." Naruto looked at me. But before he could answer, we were interrupted.
"Hey brat, did you see the la... How are you lovely lady?" He said looking right at me.
Before I could say anything, Naruto stepped in front of me. "Hey. Stay away Pervy Sage." Naruto said looking disgusted by the man.
"Pervy Sage?" I muttered before taking a good look at the man. He had white hair similar to mine. He had red markings on his face. He wore a forehead protector which read kanji for 'oil'. He had a huge scroll hanging on his back.
"Don't call me that kid. My names Jiraiya. The Toad Sage." He said before striking a pose.
I 'hmned' unimpressed by his actions. "You're one of the legendary Sannin." He nodded with a smirk.
I looked at him for a few more seconds before turning towards Naruto. "About my question. Its about your clones. "How fast do you get the memories of you Shadow clones once they disperse?"
Naruto tilted his head in confusion. "Well, maybe around five seconds later. It kind depends on the distance." Naruto said scratching his neck.
I nodded. "Thank you. And good luck on your training." I said pointing to the water.
He looked at the water and then looked at me. "You too. I hope you find what ever you were looking for."
I patted his shoulder before walking away.
Jiraiya's P.O.V.
I giggled when one of the girls in the water started walking towards her friend.
I turned around to talk to Naruto. "Hey brat, did you see the la.." I noticed a girl around Naruto's age. She was talking to him. "How are you lovely lady?"
She frowned in disgust but before she could say anything Naruto jumped in. " Stay away Pervy Sage." Naruto said with a frown.
I looked at the girl to find her looking at me while muttering 'Pervy Sage'. I looked at Naruto with a frown.
"Don't call me that kid. My names Jiraiya. The Toad Sage." I said before striking my signature pose.
She looked at me for a few seconds before turning to Naruto. I sweat dropped at her unimpressed expression.
The two of them were conversing of Shadow Clones. She had white hair like mine and golden eyes like Orochimaru. Her eyes held intensity and experience. No child her age should have such a look. She smiled at Naruto, then patted him on the shoulder before leaving.
Naruto looked at me with a determined look on his face. He marched towards me and looked me in the eye. "Don't try to think anything Pervy about her. Alright Pervy Sage?"
I laughed out loud. "Kid, don't worry. She's too young for me." I said making Naruto look at me for a few seconds before continuing his training.
"Who was your lady friend?" I asked making Naruto smile. I raised an eyebrow at that.
"That was Shizukana-chan." He said wobbling on the water.
"Is she your special friend?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows. Naruto looked at me and widened his eyes. He lost concentration and sank into the water.
His head rose to the surface and he glared at me. "No! She's my teammate." He said turning all red. "I don't see her like that. She's cool and all but she's more like a bestfriend."
I smiled at him as he continued training.
Shizukana's P.O.V
I walked into the library. I was able enough to dodge the librarian. She doesn't like me very much.
I was browsing through the books and scroll when I across the Summons Section.
Curiosity got the better of me. I chose a random book and sat down on one of the seats. I swept through the pages and paused when I came across an interesting page.
It talks about how The legendary Sannin reverse summoned themselves and got their original summons rather than get it passed down from another user.
I looked around the corridor before shrugging. The worst it could do was kill me and I've done that before.
I made the seals for the Summoning jutsu. At first, nothing happened but then I felt my body being crushed before I felt myself fall.
I looked around to find myself in an abyss. It was dark and I couldn't see the end of anything. The only thing I felt was the wind rushing though my hair.
The whole place was engulfed in a red light before I landed on something. I stood up and looked around. The place was dark once again but the ground was kinda mushy. Like standing on jello.
The ground shook and a loud roar was heard. I covered my ears and covered my eyes. But I opened them when I heard a voice.
"Who are you? Speak now Mortal or I shall destroy you." The loud voice boomed. In front of me were two golden eyes.
"Uhmm, My name is Shizukana Tori of the Hidden Leaf." I said to the being that was in front of me. It started laughing out loud.
I got irritated at that. Why is he laughing? "Oi. What the hell are you laughing at?" I said with anger.
The laughter stopped and I tumbled to the ground when I was brought closer towards the eyes.
"Why are you here Mortal?" The voice said. I patted the imaginary dust away from my blouse and stood up.
"Well, I made the hand signs for the summoning jutsu and was reverse-summoned here. And may I ask, where is here?" I said loudly making whatever was in front of me 'tsk'.
"This place is the Kage no shin'en. (Abyss of Shadows.) And no mortal has ever set foot on these grounds." It said making me laugh. Of course. I couldn't get a random animal. No I had to get some demon of sorts. I was kinda hoping for an eagle or something.
"There is something special about you." It said making me raise my eyebrow. It continued. "You do not belong in the land of the living."
I looked the ground befotr sighing. "So. Have you ever formed a contract with a human?" I asked making the thing chuckle.
"What part of 'no mortal has ever set foot on these grounds' do you not understand." It said with a stern voice.
I raised my hand in defense. "I apologize. My mistake." The demon just huffed.
"You seem like a polite Mortal." He said making me look at him weirdly. "Let us make a deal. We will be your summoning and in return you will summon us once every month to see how the world has changed."
I blinked twice before agreeing. "That was kinda easy. What you mean my 'us'?"
"Oh. By 'us' I mean by Us." As soon as he said that, over a dozen golden eyes glowed all around me. My jaw dropped at the size of each of them. But what surprised me the most was when something nuzzled against my knee. I looked down to find a small, round shape wrapping itself around my leg.
I looked at it awkwardly. It made a sort of small roaring sound before jumping into my arms.
I gave an awkward smile towards the demon in front of me. "So whats your name?"
"My name is Yami and I'm the King of the abyss." Yami said making me nod.
"I suppose it's time that I went back to my land." I said making the demon nod.
"There is one more thing." Yami said before the little demon that I was holding, bit my hand.
I gasped when blood poured put from my hand. Before I could say anything I found myself back at the library.
I looked around and sighed. That was something. It was already dark and the library was normal as always. Quiet and creepy.
I stood up but paused when I noticed a black scroll on the table. It was somewhat similar to the one I received from Karito.
Must be the scroll for the summoning. I looked at me hand to find the wound gone. It was like nothing happened.
I walked out of the library and headed home. Today was a pretty weird day.
