Remus was a bit worried about both of the men he loved in his life. They both seemed distracted and that worried him. He had a feeling what it was about with his son. He had no doubt Severus had been attracted to Harry and now he had no reason to hold back on it. He had no reason to believe the man had acted yet but he wasn't sure he would know. He knew if Harry felt threatened or worried he could come to Remus. He would trust him over Sirius who he was worried would rip Severus apart if he knew the man id anything. But his concern was also for his boyfriend and not simply about how he would react to Severus. Sirius ha been distracted about something as of late. He knew it wasn't work.
Sirius was distracted and Remus was right that it was not about his job. He had been thinking of doing something for quite some time and he knew it was right. Though they were already a family through Harry he thought it was time to make it a legal one.
He saw his son's surprise when he asked Harry to meet him in London on Friday evening. "Hey cub."
Harry as a senior could leave on evenings but he rarely left further then Hogsmeade. "What are you up to?"
Sirius smirked at his son. "What kind of greeting is that? You sound more like Moony every day."
Harry didn't think that was a bad thing. "Perhaps because we are both used to your schemes. What are we doing here?"
Sirius played coy. "Maybe I just wanted a weekend with my son away from school."
Harry didn't buy it. "Moony would be here. Besides I have quidditch and you'd have told me to bring a bag."
Sirius couldn't deny any of it. "Well then maybe dinner."
Harry didn't let him off. "We could have had dinner in Hogsmeade and Moony would have been here."
Sirius pulled him into a headloack. "I am starting to think you don't want to hang out with me."
Harry smiled. "You know I love to. Just not common."
Sirius led Harry out. "I thought we could have a bachelors night out away from the students."
Harry reminded Sirius. "You're not much of a bachelor."
Sirius had an odd glint in his eye but he reminded his son. "No ring on my finger."
Harry smirked. "If you don't hurry up old man he may find someone new."
Sirius put his hands on his hips. "Not that he could find anyone better."
Harry shrugged. "Maybe someone not so slow to act."
Sirius laughed a little. "Perhaps that is why you are here."
That cut Harry off in surprise. He had been so happy when his dads had started dating after the war had ended. He had been told that they had dated back before Harry's parents had been killed. They had slowly got back together when Sirius escaped but not for real until Voldemort died. When they had given him adoption papers they had said they wanted to make him officially family. He was legally the son of them both but he had hoped when he signed them they would all be one family. He knew he was an adult and soon to be on his own but he still liked the thought. Sirius had told him he was free to use Grimmauld as his home base when he was done school and he planned to. He would inherit it and all the Black homes, there were four others in the UK, when Sirius died. He had a few from his parents but he had never seen them and were closed up. His dads were at school ten months a year and in the summer they preferred their coastal home over Grimmauld. Thanks to floo it would be a short trip for him to Puddlemere for quidditch during the season. Oliver and Katie both lived in London and commuted as well.
Harry had no idea what his dad was up to and was even more suspicious when they headed into Diagon alley. Not the location though he and his dads often went muggle for dinner. But he knew from his words even more that this was not simply dinner.
He stopped dead when he saw where Sirius led him. "A jewelry store?"
Sirius grinned. "You know Moony better then anyone but me."
Harry was amazed. "You are going to propose?"
Sirius nodded. "Once you help me choose the right ring for him."
Harry hugged his dad. "I am so happy for you."
Sirius kissed his head. "I knew you would be. Now I really need some help."
Harry laughed as he went into the store. "I am sure there are pieces in the vault."
Sirius agreed. "I wanted something special but there are family bands I will use for the ceremony."
Harry was reminded his dad had a traditional side at times. "I have never bought jewelry either."
Sirius laughed a little. "More here for knowing Moony then any jewelry expertise. I don't have any jewelry experts to turn to."
Harry reminded him. "You could have turned to your cousin, I am sure she would help."
Sirius coughed at that. "If you ever mention turning to Cissy for advice again I will forget you are my son."
Harry laughed at that. "You do get along with her. We went for Christmas eve."
Sirius didn't deny that. "But that does not mean I am about to go shopping with that woman either."
"You should be careful or she may throw you an engagement party." Harry laughed.
His dad groaned. "I am more worried about the wedding."
Harry had got to know the Malfoys a bit since the end of the war. He and Draco had been potions partners for the past two years but it went deeper. Sirius had always been close to Andromeda and her daughter. Due to his spy role the Malfoys had been another matter. But with the war concerns over Andromeda and Narcissa were close again. And Sirius found spending time with Andromeda meant time with Cissy as well. He didn't go as far as gathering for opening gifts under the tree but they did have Christmas eve together the previous year. Narcissa liked to meddle and her sister was little better. Sirius was worried if he did not keep the woman at arms length she would meddle even more. Harry had got to know the Malfoys and Tonks better. He felt much more at home with Andromeda and her family, especially Tonks. The family had come and spent much of the summer with them at the coast the last two summers. He was overly fond of Ted who he could see Tonks got her humor from and big heart.
Though neither of them had experience with rings they didn't do too bad. They found a ring they were both certain Remus would love. Sirius had looked in the vaults. He had found the rings of his dad and grandfather which he thought they would use.
They did eventually head for dinner. "So how do you plan to propose?"
Sirius could admit. "The other reason you are here."
Harry smirked. "Maybe we should enlist your cousins."
Sirius didn't find it funny. "Keep it up cub and I will enlist their help on finding you a date."
That made Harry quiet down. "Truce."
Sirius led him to a restaurant. "Though we do need to find you a man."
Harry noticed an odd look on his dad. "I think I can find my own."
Sirius picked up a menu. "Just be careful."
Harry eyed him over the menu. "The potion has worn off."
Sirius reminded him. "Don't turn me into Molly meddling please."
Harry laughed. "I never thought you'd admit to that."
Remus may not think it was too bad of a thing but Sirius did. Sirius always wanted to be the cool dad. He thought he had it easier as his son was almost grown. He was concerned about his son but he was never going to be as bad as Molly he swore. The two of them had a nice dinner and they discussed plans for the proposal. They headed back to Scotland after some ice cream. Harry had practice in the morning and Remus would be expecting Sirius back at some point. He had told the man he loved that he would be working late but still.
Harry groaned as they came in and he saw Severus. "Just what I need."
Sirius had an odd look but motioned. "I will distract him while you head home."
Harry laughed. "Really must love me to put up with him."
Sirius shooed him off. "You said it."
Harry went to go. "I cant wait."
His happy mood dipped when he heard a voice behind him. "He cant wait for what?"
Sirius turned to the man. "I don't know where it is your business."
Severus smirked. "Remus mentioned you were working late at dinner."
Sirius smirked. "I have no idea what business it is of yours."
Severus grunted. "Don't hurt him you mutt."
Sirius was surprised. "Concern I hear?"
Severus turned to leave. "Same advice I gave James."
Sirius knew that. "I will give you the same advice."
Severus turned to look at him. "And why would I hurt Lupin?"
Sirius grunted. "He's not who I am talking about and you know it."
Severus stared at the man and he was shocked to realize who he was talking about. He had no idea how Sirius knew anything. He had known about the potion but Harry had not told his dads about Severus acting on it. The boy was not about to brag to anyone about him. He knew Remus suspected but he had never thought he would survive if Sirius had any clue. The man had never liked him and wouldn't want him near his son.
Sirius went to leave but he muttered. "If you cause him any pain I will forget I am an auror."
Harry had no idea about the conversation between his dad and Severus the night before. He had headed up to his tower in a great mood. He was glad his dad had allowed him to help pick out the ring and plan the proposal as well. He knew the men could not have children of their own which made Harry feel a bit bad for them. But they reminded him they had him and he would make them grandfathers in a few years as well. That made Harry think about Severus and he tried to shake away the thoughts. He would marry one day but it would not be that man.
In the morning Harry had quidditch practice as usual. He walked with Ron into town after lunch as Ron had a few hours at the shop. Ron was working hard to make sure he could move out with Hermione in the summer. He didn't want to move home until he had money as allowed.
He was still in town just before dinner when he found himself drawn into an alley way. "There you are."
Harry turned to look at the man. "Are you following me?"
The man reminded him. "We have plans for tonight."
Harry smirked at him. "You have plans and I have plans."
Severus didn't back down. "But I went to the trouble of tracking down a movie for us."
Harry eyed him with surprise. "You found a movie?"
Severus went to apparate them. "You insisted on a movie. I didn't want to disappoint."
Harry found himself back in what he knew was Inverness. "It doesn't seem your type of thing."
Severus could admit. "I haven't been since I was young. But I didn't need you to have any excuse."
Harry reluctantly headed to buy tickets with him. "I hope you don't think we will be seeing some romantic thing."
Severus smirked at that. "One of the upsides of not dating a woman."
Harry was happy at least when they got tickets to an action movie. "I may consider changing teams."
Severus pulled him in close. "Oh I don't think so."
Harry found himself in a seat with the man after they had bought some popcorn and drinks. They even got some licorice as well. Harry had never been to movies growing up but he had gone with his dads in the summer. Sirius had a television added to their homes and even one at school that didn't get interfered with by the school magic. He never expected a date like this from a man like Severus but then again he never expected dated with the man. He knew Severus had grown up muggle but like Harry this was not something he would have got much the way he grew up.
Despite the misgivings of them both they both enjoyed the movie and the popcorn. Harry was ready to flea when they got back to school but the man reminded him they had not had dinner. He expected Harry to come down to the dungeons and he was not to be disappointed.
Severus smiled when the boy even used his password and let him in. "Good dinner should be arriving soon."
Harry eyed him as he sunk down at the table. "We could have just ate in town."
Severus poured them a drink. "Then we couldn't have this."
Harry eyed the wine. "I don't think I should drink."
Severus sipped his own. "Oh we know you don't need it to lower your inhibitions anyways."
"I still think you are slipping potions in." But Harry drank it.
Dinner arrived and Severus motioned him to eat. "We will need our energy."
Harry eyed him over the food. "Maybe I am all full from the popcorn. Dessert before dinner."
Severus didn't seem phased by that. "Then we can always forego dinner and head to bed."
Harry went red in the face a bit and turned back to the food. "We shouldn't let it go to waste."
Severus poured him more wine. "I am glad you can see reason."
Harry drank the wine as he ate. "Maybe I need something stronger."
Severus shook his head. "Oh we know you don't."
Harry finished his food. "I could leave."
Severus agreed as he put down his napkin. "You could."
Harry stood and eyed the door. "I told you I wouldn't bed you."
Severus came to his side. "You did."
Harry felt the man unbuckling his pants. "I wont bed a snake."
Severus slid his hand in Harry's pants. "Are you going or should we head to my room?"
Harry didn't respond but he didn't stop the man and when Severus' mouth went to the boy's, Harry's lips parted for him. He directed Harry back through the door into his bedroom. He pushed Harry's trousers and boxers free of his body and he smiled internally as Harry only took slight encouragement to do the same for him. Their shirts followed before he laid Harry down on the bed. He drank in the sight of Harry lying there naked on his bed, admiring his fine abs. He also gave Harry the full chance to admire his body as well.
He lay down next to Harry on the bed and grasped the fine cock in his hand. "You like what you see don't you?"
Harry's hands clutched the blanket. "I…."
Severus took one of Harry's hands and placed it on his cock. "You like how it feels too don't you?"
Harry moaned as the man lowered his mouth down and gasped as he sucked on Harry's earlobe. "Yes."
Severus whispered in his ear. "Should I stop? Send you home?"
Harry's hips were starting to lift from the bed as Severus' hand hadn't left his cock. "No."
Severus felt the hand on his cock move slightly. "I think it's time for a new lesson tonight."
Severus started to prove that Slytherins had better uses for their tongues then talking. His mouth started a path down Harry's neck, nibbling and licking the flesh, causing goosebumps all the way down. Harry gasped in shock as the man sunk his teeth and tugged on a nipple then the other. He whimpered a bit when Severus' hand left his cock but he gasped when the man took his cock into his mouth. Harry didn't last long, as the man played with his balls and licked his cock, before he cummed hard in the man's mouth. He was surprised when he came down when the man cleaned him up with his wand and motioned for him to dress. Harry found himself back in the sitting room.
Severus handed him a hard drink. "To not disappoint."
Harry eyed the drink and took it. "I…."
Severus pulled him in. "Disappointed that I stopped?"
Harry pushed back from him. "No."
Severus whispered in his ear. "If you want that lesson you will need to come back to my bed."
Harry downed the drink and went for his cloak. "Keep trying all you want but I will not come back."
Severus drew him back in for a hard kiss. "Oh we both know you will be back in my bed. You want more."
Harry groaned as the man rubbed against him. "This is the last time."
Severus watched the boy slip from the room and he knew it wasn't. He knew the boy would be back and begging him for more. That boy had come too far to stop now. Anyone else he may have worried the boy would go and his awakened needs in an alcove. But he knew Harry would not. He thought it may take a few days or weeks but Harry would be back here wanting more. Harry would soon be begging him for it.
He drank down some whiskey when he was alone. "I wont have a cold side of my bed for much longer lion. You'll be back."
Harry couldn't deny that the night had been amazing. And part of him could even admit that he was disappointed that it had ended so soon. But he would never go back into that room again. The cocky man seemed to think he was so good that Harry would come running back to his bed. He would be disappointed. Though Harry was starting to think he needed to find some fun for himself in the alcoves or in town some night soon. He assumed he just needed to have some fun like other guys his age did. And once he did he would have that man out of his head for good.
His mind was able to leave the man the next weekend. He was again headed away from campus for the weekend but for both of his dads this time. Sirius decided now he had the ring not to drag his heels. Well his son threatened to sick his cousins on him if he did.
Remus was truly surprised when they went to meet their son after his practice Saturday. "What are you up to?"
Sirius shrugged. "Thought it would be nice for the three of us to spend some time away from school."
Remus was not buying it at all. "Its only a few weeks until Christmas break."
Sirius pouted. "If you are so opposed to alone time with me and cub we will leave you here and go alone."
Remus laughed and kissed him. "I guess I will have to come along if only to see what you two are up to."
Harry appeared after his shower and putting his broom away. "Hey guys."
Sirius grinned. "Ready to go cub?"
Remus eyed his son. "Your mutt over there wont tell me what you two are up to."
Harry wasn't giving in either. "Dinner I believe."
Sirius agreed. "Maybe some dessert after."
Remus didn't find it amusing. "I know you two are up to something."
Sirius looked at his son. "I am starting to think I should keep my threat and the two of us should leave him behind."
Harry agreed with him. "You'd think we volunteered him to clean cauldrons."
Remus smirked at that. "I remind you that we didn't all hate potions class."
Harry had an odd look pass across his face. "Siri says your stomach could never handle it."
Remus couldn't deny that. While he did good in potions in school his stomach never made it a pleasant experience. And though he was friends with Severus he would never have volunteered to help clean his cauldrons either. Like his son he had been lucky in his partners in potions class. Far from a full moon he had aced the class himself and not needed help but near it he relied on Severus and Lily. Sirius had always been partnered up with James and they were lucky not to blow up the classroom most of the time.
It was lunch time when they arrived in London and Sirius took them to a new rainforest restaurant in the city. His boyfriend and Harry both laughed when he booked them on an education tour first. But the animatronics were cool and the information was interesting.
They sat down for lunch when they were done the tour. Harry looked at his dad. "A bit of an odd choice for you."
Remus agreed with him. "Never took you for the education type."
Sirius pouted. "I run the auror academy and help you teach."
Remus gave him that. "But science has more in common with potions then defense."
Harry groaned. "Not that much."
Sirius shrugged. "Well it is a bit of a theme for the day."
Remus was confused by that. "Theme? I don't know if I like the sounds of that."
Sirius motioned to the menu. "You will just have to wait and see."
They enjoyed some burgers and pop for a late lunch at the restaurant. It was new but late lunch time so it wasn't too busy. Harry knew the next stop and had helped Sirius choose it. They headed after lunch to the Greenwich observatory. They spent the first bit enjoying the grounds and the museum but they made their way to the planetarium. Remus was surprised to find them attending a show at the planetarium. He was even more shocked when he found that Sirius had managed to make it so the three of them had it to themselves.
Remus was amazed as the show began. "Definitely not your usual taste."
Sirius reminded him. "We both have a connection to the moon and stars."
Remus agreed with him on that. "Could have gone and looked at the stars the normal way."
Sirius reminded him. "Its day time besides there were certain things to see."
Harry nodded and looked above. "Things even with a telescope we might not see today."
Remus was amazed when the show shifted and he knew Sirius had done something. "That is your constellation. And Leo, Harry's."
Sirius was starting to kneel while Remus was looking up. "And Pisces for you."
Remus was amazed but shocked when he looked down and saw the man he loved with a ring in hand. "Siri?"
Sirius took his hand. "Considering all we made it through and still together our fate seems in the stars. Marry me."
Remus was in tears but he managed to smile. "Yes."
Sirius slid the ring on him and standing pulled his fiancé into a long passionate kiss. Their son happily celebrated with them. They finished the show and then headed to their home on the coast. Harry knew much of the plans but even he didn't know there was a party waiting at the house. He had known Sirius had planned a bit of a beach bbq dinner, possible with warming spells, as a reminder of their summers there. But they found that there were many others there to celebrate with them. Tonks and her parents, Moody and Kingsley, most of the teachers from the school, Molly and Arthur, and their older kids had come. And despite his grumbling about his cousins, the Malfoys had even got an invite. Narcissa would never have let him hear the end of it which is why he invited her or so Sirius claimed. Remus was shocked to see Severus.
Sirius kissed his boyfriend when he saw the look. "He is your friend."
Remus agreed but returned the kiss. "Though you wish he wasn't."
Sirius didn't argue that. "But you should have those you care about here."
Severus had come over to them. He looked at Remus. "I am happy for you."
Remus smiled at the man. "I am happy to hear that."
Sirius grumbled. "Shocked."
Severus eyed the man. "I cant deny I'd rather he choose a different man. As he tells me you cant always choose who you fall for."
Sirius eyed his son and back before he took the man's hand. "It seems he has a point."
Remus and Harry shared a look for neither were certain what was happening. They were happy the two men could seem to shake hands on it together though. Harry and Remus thought that Sirius could have no idea what was going on with Severus and Harry. The fact the man was alive and even there at the party seemed evidence that Sirius was unaware. In truth it was evidence he was the adult he was trying to prove he was. He groaned though when he saw his cousins headed his way when the food was about to be served.
Narcissa was the one who brought the biggest groan of the night. "You know I already have ideas of a wedding for the two of you."
