Shizukana's P.O.V
After Kabuto's little midnight escapade, I haven't been sleeping lately. I always kept my Guard up and never relaxed for a moment. I had been training with my Time Manipulation activated even though its twice as hard but better safe than sorry.
Monday afternoon, the Sun shining hotly over my sweating body as I trained like always. The Chunin Exams is in three days and I've gotten the basics of The Flying Thunder God Jutsu. I can now reach the marker without seeing it. And can teleport mid air. I consider that an achievement. I made my portable markers by attaching my seal on to a kunai. I have around hundred kunai with the seal on. Lord Fourth had a special three pronged kunai for the jutsu so I decided to get the same.
After hours of training, I felt starved. I haven't had anything to eat since last night. So I thought of getting something to eat. I walked through the stores and browsed through the items and settled for an apple.
Once I finished with that, I just roamed around until I met Shikamaru. "Hey, how have you been?" I asked him making him smile at me.
"Ah. Shizukana. Just training for the troublesome exam." He said. He walked towards me. I snorted at his lazy antics. "Where are you going?" I asked him.
He put his hands in his pockets. "To the hospital. Choji hasn't been discharged yet." When he said that, I looked at him in confusion.
Why is Choji in the Hospital? After seeing my confused look, Shikamaru chuckled. "After you passed out, Choji and some other guy named Dosu fought and Choji was injured. Lee is also in the hospital. So I was planning on visiting them." Shikamaru said making me nod.
"Can I come with?" I asked wanting to see how they were doing. He nodded but I had a better idea. "Why don't you go ahead and I'll get some flowers for the both of them. I kinda feel guilty for not visiting them sooner." I said.
Shikamaru waved his hands. "Alright. I'll see you there." With that he left. I turned around and headed to the Yamanaka flower shop. It was right around the corner. I entered and Ino was arranging some flowers.
"Welcome to the Yamanaka Flower shop. How can I help you?" Ino greeted but when she saw me she smiled. "Shizukana, what are you doing here?"
I pointed towards some flowers and she nodded. "Is it for a special someone?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows.
I shook my head. "No its for Choji and Lee. I didn't know they were injured but Shikamaru told me so I decided to get some flowers." I explained making Ino nod in agreement.
She wrapped up a two bouquets of Daisies. I paid for them and stepped out. With each of them on my hands, I walked towards the hospital. It took around 15 minutes to get there and I could have shunshinned there but I didn't want to ruin the flowers.
I walked towards the receptionist and asked her what rooms were Choji and Lee were in.
"Choji Akimichi is in room 345 and Rock Lee is in room 312." The receptionist said making me nod. I headed up to the 3rd floor and decided to visit Lee first then to head to Choji's room.
I looked around to find the hallway empty and quiet. I continued until I felt dark chakra walk my way. It was the feeling of bloodlust. I tightened my grip on the bouquets and walked faster.
I stopped walking when Garaa came walking towards me. He looked angry and all the Bloodlust was coming from him. He looked at me before muttering, "Mother says you're different."
I looked at his retreating figure. Mother? What does that mean? I shook my head and continued walking but I crashed into someone. The flower bouquets fell out of my hand but before they hit the floor I slowed down time.
I looked at the person who crashed into me to find Guy Sensei. Unlike the other people who were caught in my time manipulation, he was moving faster than usual. His hands grabbed the ends of the flower bouquets. I realized my mistake and quickly deactivated the Time Manipulation.
"Ah.. You are Kakashi's student. Shizukana." He said with a loud booming voice. I nodded before giving him a fake smile.
"I apologize for bumping into you Guy Sensei." I said bowing my head. He looked at me and laughed.
"There is no need to apologize for it was also my mistake." He said handing me the flowers. Surprisingly, they weren't crushed. "Well, I will see you later." He said and left.
I took a deep breath before heading into Lee's room. My mind only focused on one thing. There might be some people who cannot fall for the Time manipulation.
Third Person's P.O.V.
Sasuke and Kakashi were on a cliff. Kakashi was training Sasuke to master his usage in the Sharingan. Sasuke panted as he dodged the countless amount of kunai that Kakashi threw at him.
"Good. You are improving." Kakashi said. "Now show me the Chidori." Kakashi said making Sasuke form the hand signs. As soon as Sasuke finshed with the hand signs, lightning chakra formed a messy and dangerous ball in his right hand.
Suddenly, the crackling of the lightening slowed down and everything paused for a moment. Both Sasuke and Kakashi were shocked to the core. Both of the Sharingan users looked around them to find that everything had slowed down. The bird flapped its wings at a very slow rate and the tumbleweed that was rolling floated through the air.
Kakashi walked to the edge of the cliff and scanned the horizon. Everything was quiet. It was like the whole world stopped moving. But just as it came, the world continued at its normal pace. The bird disappeared over a rock and the tumbleweed continued rolling. Sasuke who was occupied with the changes around him, forgot about the Chidori in his hand. He hissed in pain when the lightning burnt his hand.
Kakashi turned to face the Uchiha. "Do you know what that was?" He asked Sasuke who shook his head. But Kakashi knew that he was hiding something.
Shizukana's P.O.V.
I left the hospital. Apparently, Choji used to much chakra and his ears were damaged from Dosu's attacks. He was enjoying all the attention from visitors. But Lee was the problem. Garaa's attacks were harsh and brutal. Lee's leg was injured and none of the medic ninjas knew how to fix it. But that didn't stop him from exercising.
Speaking of Lee, how did Guy Sensei move so fast? I know he is the fastest Taijutsu user in Konoha but to move that fast. I'm pretty sure he didn't notice anything but I have to be careful now. Can't have any mistakes.
I spent the rest of the day planting my markers around the village. Just in case. I had at least 50 kunai which held the marker and stored then in my pouch. The rest are at home. The jutsu is quite useful for a quick get away and also to land sneak attacks.
I made my way to the training grounds and continued training but this time I tried to take a clone with. And it was harder. Before I had to only concentrate on getting my chakra there but this time I have to make sure my clone doesn't get stranded in the space-time dimension.
For another few hours, I practiced before calling it a day and headed home. When I was passing Taka-kun's apartment he had his bags packed and he was standing in front of my door. He was writing something. I decided to sneak up on him.
I slowly made my way towards him. "Where are you going?" I asked making Taka-kun jump two feet into the air.
He turned around and closed his eyes. "Ah Shi-chan. You scared me." He said laughing. He crushed the paper he was holding and shoved it into his pocket.
Ignoring that I looked at the bags. "Where are you going?" I asked him. He looked at me and chuckled.
"Oh. My family friend is in trouble so I decided to help him. Apparently, he owes some people money and they threatened him. So he asked me to help him and I am going the Land of Tea." Taka-kun said. "Sorry. I won't be able to attend the exams. But I know you won't give up."
I nodded a little disappointed but he was going to help someone. He picked up his bags before giving a wolfish grin. "See you in a week."
With that, he left. I sighed before opening the door to my apartment and heading to bed.
