Shizukana's P.O.V.
I am currently walking towards Ichiraku Ramen. Team 7's designated meeting spot for the next mission.
Naruto and Sasuke haven't still gotten over Sensei's mask and they keep bothering me, asking me to tell them. It's not like I can't tell them, it's just that I won't. Like to tease them.
"Hey. Over here." I heard a voice. I turned around to find Sasuke, Naruto and Sensei already standing near Ichiraku. I waved my hand and jogged over to them.
Naruto smiled at me while Sasuke just nodded his head. I looked at Sensei and felt myself blush but not so much. Just enough to give a light tinge on my face. This caused Naruto and Sasuke to glare at Sensei. Sensei just shrugged it off.
"Alright. Now that everyone is here, let's go over today's plan." Sensei said attracting our attention. "We have been called to work at Kentsuki-San's farm. Its a bit far from here but we will be able to reach there within 3 hours and finish our work in 5 hours. So we'll be back by the end of the day." Sensei finished making us all nod.
The farm was located just outside the village. Just maybe 5 miles away from the walls so we decided to take our time since it was only 9 am. Naruto was rambling on about something while Sensei attentively listened. Sasuke stuck in the back also listening to Naruto but not as attentively as Sensei was. I walked in the front while just looking around and catching snippets of Naruto's conversation.
We walked for around an hour and a half before we came across a hot spring. And everyone decided to take a small break. Sasuke and Naruto came up with this idea, so I'm guessing they still haven't gotten over Sensei's mask.
We walked in and they went into the male section while I hung around in the lobby. I'm not stepping into a pool full of naked women. Even though I've gotten used to some of the customs here, I still follow the lifestyle of my previous life. Like having tea at 4 pm and forgetting to eat. Yeah, we Brits were different than the Yankee's
It was kinda boring so I decided to read a scroll which I packed. I always carry something to read. Always. So that's what I did. I read on different types of poison found in the land of Grass. It was fine until three men in grey ninja clothing rushed past the lobby.
To be honest, they didn't look very dangerous but they did look suspicious. I just brushed them off. I continued to read my scroll. The Land of Grass has one of the biggest ranges of poison and well that's interesting. There are some varieties of poisons in Konoha but they are hard to find even though Konoha is 20 per cent green.
As I was reading, I felt someone staring at me. I looked from my scroll to find an old lady looking at me. When we made eye contact she looked away. I continued to look at her and she smiled at me. I gave her a bright smile and looked back to my scroll.
"Shizukana." I heard someone call my name. I looked at the source to find Sasuke standing near the door. "Come." He said. I nodded and stood up. I smiled at the old lady and followed Sasuke while pocketing my scroll.
We walked into a secluded room where Sensei and Naruto were seated next to a table filled with food. I looked at Naruto and he was grinning at Sensei. Kakashi Sensei on the other was staring at the design on the plate. Who arranged this?
Sasuke sat on one side of the table and I also took my seat. It was quiet until Naruto spoke. "So Sensei. Why don't you start first." Naruto said looking at Sensei with determination.
But before Sensei could respond, Naruto grabbed the jar of water and yeeted it towards Sensei. I widened my eyes as Sensei grabbed the table and used it as a shield to cover his face. Everything on the table was sent flying into the air. The plates broke and the food was splatter all across the floor.
I looked at Naruto to find him sweatdropping and Sasuke was facepalming. Sensei was just scratching his head. "Why did you do that?" Kakashi Sensei asked Naruto.
"My hand slipped," Naruto replied making me roll my eyes. I shook my head before standing up and flicking Naruto in the head.
"Idiot," Sasuke said. I nodded and Naruto just smiled sheepishly. I looked down at my clothes to find pieces of food stuck on to it. Luckily, I had some spare clothes.
"I'm going to go change," I said making the boys nod and Sensei started picking up the mess. As I reached the door. Naruto and Sasuke helped Sensei.
I stepped out and walked through the halls to find a changing room. It wasn't too hard since this was a hot spring. Once I reached the changing room. I locked the door and changed my clothes. My jacket and pants were messed up but my shirt under the jacket was fine so I took my spare clothes which contained a pair of white shorts which finished right above my knees and a green jacket which was a hoodie.
I changed into them and put the rest into my storage scroll and tied my pouch to my leg. Once I was done I unlocked the door and joined the boys as we left the hot spring.
Sensei and I walked in the front while Naruto and Sasuke were in the back whispering about something. It was unusual to see them getting along. Whatever they are planning, it seems devious and Naruto-like.
Time skip...
We reached the farm and got started on fixing the fence first. It was a simple fence with wooden stumps and metal wires to prevent the animals from escaping. The storm from last week caused a tree nearby to fall and wreck half of the fence.
Everyone got to work. Naruto and I were in charge of removing the metal wires while Sensei and Sasuke removed the damaged stumps. We worked for two hours before taking a break.
The wife of the farmer was kind enough to serve us with some refreshments which helped with the hot weather. After a 20 min break, we went back to work.
Once the fence was cleared, I helped Sensei move the new wooden stumps in the place of the damaged ones. After a while, I noticed that Naruto and Sasuke were missing.
I looked around to find a barrel approaching us. A small head poked out and I saw yellow tufts of hair peeking through the lid. Sensei also noticed this and chuckled. I looked at him and smiled.
I removed moved my gloves and walked towards the barrel. Just as I was about to reach it, three ninjas in Grey clothing appeared out of nowhere. They were the same people from the hot spring.
"Hatake Kakashi. Prepare to die." One of them yelled. I assumed he was the leader since the other two just nodded.
"Do I know you?" Sensei asked them making the ninjas sweatdrop. I knew they weren't a threat cause no sensible shinobi would waste an opportunity like this. Why announce you attack when you use the element of surprise? Kinda like Naruto.
They got angry and ran towards me instead of Sensei. this didn't give me time to react as the leader held me by the hair and kicked the back of my knees. I yelped as my knees crashed into the ground. He pulled my hair making me wince in pain. Didn't think they would get aggressive.
This caused Sensei to get serious. Naruto and Sasuke who were in the barrel also got serious as they pulled out their kunai.
"Drop your weapons or Snow Ball gets it." One of the ninjas said as he held a kunai near my head. Naruto and Sasuke fidgeted while Sensei took a step forward. This caused the ninjas to get anxious.
I used my hand to slowly reach into my pouch and I pulled out a marked kunai. The ninjas were occupied with Sensei so they didn't notice. I hid the kunai in my sleeve and twisted 180 degrees. I swiped my legs under two of the ninjas. The third came at me with a kunai.
I threw my marked kunai away from them and it landed a few feet away from Sasuke. Just as the shinobi's kunai was a few inches from my face, I teleported towards my marked kunai.
Everything happened so fast but Sensei was able to react quickly as he rushed towards the attackers and knocked them unconscious. He then proceeded to tie them up with the metal wire which was used for the fence.
Naruto rushed towards me and helped me up. Sasuke followed after him and stood next to me. After standing up, I brushed the dust if my shorts and looked at Sensei who was looking at my kunai. That's right. He doesn't know about that.
He picked it up and handed it over to me. Even though he didn't say anything, I knew he wanted to have a conversation with me about this. I did say no more secrets. There were many emotions in his eye that I couldn't recognize. Guilt. Recognition. Sorrow?
We continued our work while Sensei went to find the nearest Konoha post to sort out the enemy Ninja.
This turned out to be an interesting day.
Takada's P.O.V.
Shizukana was not in the village. She's out on a mission.
I slowly opened the door to my apartment and walked inside. The first thing I noticed was the marked tag on the floor.
I picked it up and examined it. Shizukana was here. I put the tag in my pocket and walked into the living room. Everything was in its original place but the one thing that was changed was the glass on the floor.
I narrowed my eyes and my eyes scanned the room. My eyes fell on the broken frame of the photograph. I rushed towards it and removed it. My safe was hidden behind it.
I place the frame on the table and opened the safe. The files were misplaced so that means that she knows.
Shizukana knows. I grabbed the files and shut the safe. Place the frame back and got out of the house. She knows but hasn't told anyone.
