One day, the group was sitting in the Factory doing absolutely nothing. Odd was playing Pictionary with Aelita, Ulrich and Yumi were playing go fish. All the, all while Jeremy was typing away at the Interface. However, everyone was drawn away from their activities by a sudden 'clang'.
"What was that?" Aelita wondered.
"It sounds like it came from the Scanners Room." Jeremy guessed.
Everyone nervously entered the Factory Lift. When the group got to the Scanners, they, the saw something (or need I say someone) very peculiar. The gang looked down to see a toddler in a yellow shirt, red overalls, green socks and black shoes.
He had black hair that was quite ruffled. Aelita went to grab him, but was stopped by Jeremy's voice.
"It could be a trap set up by Xana." Jeremy warned.
"Oh come on Jeremy. It's just a toddler. How much trouble could he be?" Aelita interjected.
Jeremy sighed before pushing up his glasses.
"Okay, those in favor of keeping the toddler around, raise your left hand." Jeremy demanded.
Aelita and Odd both raised their left hand.
"Those against, raise your right hand." Jeremy instructed.
Yumi, Jeremy and Ulrich all raised their right hand.
"Sorry Aelita." Jeremy apologized.
Everyone then went back to their dormitories. Later on in the afternoon while she knew Jeremy was typing away on his computer and everyone else was at lunch, Aelita went back to the Factory. Aelita saw that the toddler was still asleep, this time he was curled up in the top right corner of the room, currently sucking his right thumb.
Aelita picked up the toddler before re-entering the Factory Lift, exiting the Factory and returning to her dorm. A quarter of an hour passed by before the sound of Jeremy gently knocking on Aelita's dormitory door thrice in a row echoed throughout the room.
This alerted Aelita who was gently swaddling the toddler before lightly placing him onto a pillow on the floor. Aelita kissed the child's forehead before answering the door.
"Hi Jeremy." Aelita greeted.
"Hi Aelita. Can I ask you something?" Jeremy wondered.
"Sure, you can ask me anything." Aelita responded.
"Well, I was just wondering if-" suddenly, Jeremy was startled out of his thoughts by a rustling sound.
Jeremy searched around for the cause of the suspicious sound. Jeremy neared the foot of Aelita's bed but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. However, when he proceeded to check Aelita's window to see if there was a bird outside that caused the sound, Jeremy felt something soft and heavy touch his foot.
Jeremy looked down to see the toddler from the Factory that him, Yumi and Ulrich resented to bring back. Jeremy looked at Aelita, absolutely dumbfounded that she disobeyed a command.
"Why Aelita!? Why did you do this!?" Jeremy exclaimed while pointing his left index finger at the child.
Aelita walked over to where Jeremy was before picking up the small boy. The toddler then looked up at Aelita and Jeremy with his iridescent green eyes. The boy then reached his hands out to the floor. Aelita and Jeremy looked at each other before nodding in unison.
Jeremy sat down in front of the door while Aelita placed the child gently on the floor. The toddler then tapped a few times on Aelita's bed frame.
"What is he doing?" Aelita questioned.
"I think he's trying to communicate with us using morse code." Jeremy explained.
"What is he saying?" Aelita asked.
"I, am, Xana." Jeremy responded.
"But that's impossible! Xana couldn't have created a human form for himself that your attacks wouldn't go through! Let alone a toddler's body!" Aelita shrieked.
The Xana proclaimed toddler then tapped out another message.
"What's he saying now Jeremy?" Aelita queried.
"He says that if we don't find a way to return him back to normal in 24 hours, then him and Lyoko will be completely irradicated." Jeremy replied.
"What are we waiting for then!? Let's get to the Factory!" Aelita panicked.
Jeremy and Aelita went through the Park to see Yumi with her back leaning against a tree while Ulrich had his right hand nervously rubbing the back of his neck. Jeremy walked over to them while Aelita went to the Factory with Xana.
"I hate to interrupt whatever conversation you guys were having but-" suddenly, Jeremy was cut off by Ulrich.
"Xana's attacking?" Ulrich interrupted.
Jeremy shook his head.
"Xana's been turned into a toddler. Since he maintains Lyoko and it's his home, if he doesn't update Lyoko within the next 24 hours, they'll both enter a dangerous phase where they'll both be destroyed." Jeremy answered.
"Why don't we just let Xana get himself wiped out?" Yumi wondered.
"Xana has Aelita's memories somewhere on Lyoko. We have to get them-" soon enough, Jeremy managed to form a meticulous plan.
"That's it! Since Xana has no way to command his monster, create them or activate towers, we can get Aelita's memories no problem!" Jeremy cheered.
Jeremy began to happily skip to the Factory. Yumi and Ulrich looked at each other curiously before shrugging their shoulders. Yumi, Ulrich and Jeremy then went to the Lab.
"Wait, shouldn't we call Odd?" Yumi pondered.
"I don't think we'll need to worry about that." Jeremy answered.
Everyone (save for Jeremy and Odd) got into the scanners and went to Sector 5. When they got there, they noticed the countdown didn't activate.
"That's strange. Why didn't the timer activate?" Ulrich wondered.
"Because Xana is the one to activate the timer." Jeremy explained.
"Ohhhh." Ulrich spoke.
Everyone then ran to the elevator before reaching the edge of the sector. Soon, Aelita was hard at work before Xana tried to punch Jeremy in his left leg. But to no avail, it didn't work. Afterwards, Aelita launched the process before Xana returned to his some form and re-entered Lyoko as smoke.
