Katsuki was pretty sure he'd cursed every deity known to man at least once at this point. He let off another explosion to take out a villain. Next to him Kirishima and Kaminari were also fighting off their own villains. Of course fucking Izuku's gut feeling had to be correct. Now Katsuki was distracted from the fight from worrying about what stupid thing he was about to do. "Damnit!" Katsuki yelled in frustration as he let off another explosion at the villains.

Some time before…

Katsuki sat silently on the bus; occupying his time by looking out the window and half listening to his classmate's conversations. At least that would have been the plan if two particularly persistent classmates of his hadn't stuck themselves to his side since they'd been dismissed to change.

Kirishima and Kaminari. For some reason these two were relentless in their efforts to befriend him. They'd try to make conversation with him between classes, get him to eat lunch with them, and try to walk with him after school. The two didn't seem to know how to take the hint that Katsuki wasn't looking for friends. Though he would be lying to himself if he said he didn't respect their persistence; if only a little.

"Hey bro! You ready for today?" Kirishima asked, flashing a smile.

Katsuki shrugged and fingered the small device in his pocket. "Yeah sure. I'm sure I'll be better than any of you extra's at whatever we're doing."

Kaminari smirked. "Hey don't count us all out yet. There's bound to be some stuff we're better at than you."

Katsuki glared and Kirishima got in-between the two to try and calm the situation. Katsuki scoffed but let it go; his gaze focusing forward again.

When the trio reached the bus the class rep, Iida Katsuki thought his name was, did his best to organize the rest of the class. Somehow he'd still ended up sitting next to Kirishima with Kaminari sitting behind them.

The ride was filled with useless chatter from the two. They tried to pull him into the conversation a couple times but quickly realized that was a lost cause. The ride passed without much fanfare. Katsuki did find enjoyment in discreetly watching Aizawa. He seemed to be just as excited about being trapped in a bus with 19 teenagers as Katsuki was. He also looked like he needed more sleep; maybe Katsuki would pester him about it when Katsuki met up next with him as Wolf.

It took far too long to reach their destination in Katsuki's opinion. He couldn't help but still feel on edge about everything. "Damnit Deku. Now you have me worrying about it." He thought bitterly. The class was ushered off the bus and into the building.

Most of the class looked around in amazement at the massive facility. Even Katsuki couldn't help but be impressed at the sheer scale of everything. Katsuki mostly tuned out Thirteen as they addressed the class. He caught a glimpse of the excited look on Uraraka's face before focusing on the center plaza. He reached his hand into his pocket and pulled out the small device.

He frowned as he saw the light that had been a steady green before was now blinking red slowly. He quickly stashed it away and scanned the area. His eyes narrowed as he caught sight of a black substance gathering in the middle of the plaza.

"Aizawa sensei!" He yelled, effectively stopping any other conversations.

"What is it Bakugou?" Aizawa asked, annoyance clear in his voice.

Katsuki gestured to the plaza where the black had grown to be much larger now. "I don't think that's part of rescue training."

Aizawa whipped around to face where he was pointing. "No." he got into a fighting stance. "No it's not."

Soon villains were coming out of the darkness. "A portal? Some villain's got a damn good quirk. Annoying as well. Would be good to take out whoever is generating the portal." Katsuki thought as he scanned his surroundings more critically. "Dammit I'm starting to sound like Deku." he muttered under his breath.

Aizawa turned to Thirteen. "Get the students out of here!" With that he lept into the fray and Thirteen did their best to herd the students to the door. They didn't get far before the portal that had brought the villains appeared in front of them. The portal shifted and two yellow eyes were revealed. The portal was a villain.

Katsuki let off a few sparks; eyes narrowing. Kirishima put a hand on his shoulder and squeezed it tightly. Kaminari shuffled closer to the two.
"Greetings. Please do excuse our intrusion." The villain scanned over the group. "We are the league of villains-" Katsuki went rigid. "-and we have come to kill the symbol of peace."

Katsuki flexed his hands in order to calm himself. Kirishima looked at him with concern. The league was here? Were they really the cause of the break in the other day? "Pull yourself together idiot!" He shouted at himself mentally. He glanced at Kirishima and Kaminari. They weren't Izuku but they were the best he had in this situation and he knew they'd follow him. He bumped them gently to get their attention. "Follow my lead you two. If we can take out the villain's way out we can stop them from getting away."

Kirishima seemed to think it over for a minute before grinning and giving a thumbs up. "I'm with you Bakubro."

Kaminari nodded unsurly but relented. "Alright. I'll help too."

Katsuki nodded, satisfied. "On my signal then we attack him. We just need to wait for an opening." Both nodded in response. The villain shifted and narrowed his eyes; that's when Katsuki saw it.

"My job is to scatter you hero hopefuls so you may be tortured and killed." The villain said casually. They turned their attention to Thirteen.

"I won't let you harm them villain!" Thirteen said as they unleashed their quirk on the mist villain. It seemed to work at first; until the villain opened a portal behind Thirteen and turned their quirk against them. They fell to the floor and several students rushed to their side.

Katsuki saw his opening. "Now, go for the neck!" Katsuki whisper yelled as he propelled himself forward with his explosions.

The three launched at the villain. As soon as Katsuki got close enough he aimed a hand so he could let off an explosion at the villain's neck. The attack connected and the villain recoiled in pain. Kaminari cautiously let off some electricity. He was pleased to see that it was more drawn to the metal around the villain's neck than his classmates. Kirishima rushed in after that, hardening his body, and pinned the villain down.

Katsuki turned around and scanned over the class; his eyes landing on Iida. "Oi Glasses you're the fastest. While we have this guy pinned get out of here and let the other teachers know what's going on."

Iida seemed offended at the suggestion. "What! As class representative I will not abandon my fellow classmates!" His words were punctuated with chopping motions from his arms.

Katsuki glared at him and took a quick glance back at Kirishima and Kaminari. They were keeping the villain down for now but he knew it wouldn't last long. "We don't have time for this shit! You're not abandoning us; you're helping us. We can handle ourselves while you go get the pros!"

Katsuki leveled his most authoritative look at him till he relented. "Very well. I shall complete this task to the best of my abilities!" With that Iida took off from the USJ; making it out the door just as Kirishima and Kaminari lost their grip on the villain. He then wasted no time opening several portals and scattering most of the students throughout the USJ.

On the main campus…

Izuku wasn't really paying attention in class; he was too distracted by his own thoughts. He couldn't push down the terrible feeling that something was going wrong while he was just sitting there. What he and Katsuki had learned about the league still sat heavy in his mind, and he couldn't help letting his mind wander to more serious topics then the history that they were currently learning. He checked his phone as often as he felt he could get away with to make sure everything was still fine. Occasionally Shinsou would catch his eye and give him a questioning look. Izuku would simply shake his head and smile.

He was making an attempt to take notes when his phone buzzed in his pocket. He stopped writing and widened his eyes. He knew what that likely meant even if he hadn't seen the notification yet. He raised his hand abruptly doing his best to keep the nervous look off his face, but not succeeding entirely. "Sensei I'm not feeling too well. May I be excused?" he asked nervously.

His teacher nodded and told him to head down to Recovery Girl to get himself checked over. He agreed quickly and snatched his backpack as he rushed out of the room. Shinsou gave him an odd look on the way out that he didn't see.

Izuku made his way quickly to Recovery Girl's office. He'd have to fake sick enough to get sent home so he could make an appearance as Rabbit with less risk of blowing his cover. He knew Katsuki would never forgive him if he was too reckless with this. He also knew Katsuki could handle himself and given the opportunity he would likely take control of the situation. For now he would have to have faith in Katsuki and his class.

He poked his head into the office putting on the best sick act he could. "Recovery Girl?" he called weakly.

Recovery Girl swiveled her chair around to face him. "How can I help you dearie?" She looked at him. "Oh my, you don't look well. Come here and sit down so I can get a better look at you."

Izuku nodded and walked over dragging his feet. He didn't think he looked that bad but maybe the stress of worrying about what was going on was showing on his face.

"Well you don't seem to have a fever. How are you feeling dear?" She asked.

He shook his head slowly. "Not good…"

She pulled out some gummies and handed them to him. "Here take these and head home for the day. Do you have someone to take you home?"

He shook his head. "No not right now. But I should be fine. I don't live far."

She gave him an appraising look. "Alright. Just get home and rest alright?"

He nodded his head, thanked her, and left. He did his best to not look like he was in a rush as he left the school. As soon as he got a decent away from campus he slipped into an alley and put on his vigilante costume. He slipped on the few items of support gear he could discreetly fit in his backpack and climbed up to the roof of one of the neighboring buildings to hide his backpack. He pulled out his phone to check the last known location of the device.

"Not too far from campus… that's good. Shouldn't take me too long to get there. Hang in there Kacchan…" Izuku muttered as he activated the jets in his shoes that he modeled after the retired pro Gran Torino.

It took Izuku far longer than he would have liked to make it. As he neared the building he was passed by another student. Izuku allowed himself a moment to be jealous of his speed before focusing back on what he needed to do.

He pried the doors open and slipped through before they could shut again. He was immediately faced with several members of class 1-a and a critically injured Thirteen. They didn't seem to notice him as he entered so he slipped out of sight quietly. He was split between being thankful he wasn't noticed to being concerned that the group of future heroes hadn't actually noticed him come in.

He quickly shook those thoughts out of his head; Katsuki needed his help right now. Well maybe not Katsuki directly, but his classmates. He wasn't sure where all the students were but he could guess they had been separated somehow considering he'd only seen a few at the entrance. As he approached the central plaza he took note of the amount of unconscious villains on the ground. Not a long way off he spotted Eraserhead fighting off villains that seemed to be on par with what he and Katsuki usually took on.

"A bunch of low level villains managed to attack UA?" Izuku thought to himself, confused. "I have to be missing something. I'm sure even the class could take out these guys. And something had to have hurt Thirteen that badly."

He took a more critical look and noticed three villains that stood out. One villain was covered in hands, Izuku briefly wondered if they were real, another seemed to be made entirely of black mist and the last was a bulky creature with a bird head. All except the bird-headed villain seemed to be watching Eraser fight closely.

"They're likely the one's behind this. But why did they come here in the first place?" He started mumbling. "They have to have some sort of goal if they infiltrated UA. Could they have been behind the break in the other day too? It would make sense…" he paused, his eyes widening. "Could this be the league? We heard that they were gathering small-time villains…"

He was interrupted from his thoughts when he heard the thud of something hitting the ground hard and the slight crunch of bone. He looked up to see the bird-headed villain had moved and was pinning Eraserhead to the ground.

All rational thought left him as he tore out of his hiding spot; his focus narrowing on the downed hero. "Eraserhead!"
