It had been almost a year since Dragon went missing and Lloyd was made the Ninja's new master until they find their original one.
But at the moment, there was a celebration going on throughout the streets of Ninjago City for the new year. Some people were dancing, some were wearing masks, playing instruments, and moving a big dragon costume along one street. Fireworks were also going off in the sky. During the celebration, one individual, wearing a green Ninja costume with a green helmet and two swords sheathed behind his back, was looking around while on top of a van before jumping off into the middle of the parade, looked up somewhere, and got off the road as two individuals, one wearing a red Ninja costume with a red helmet, and one wearing a yellow Ninja costume with a yellow helmet, came up to him before they rush off into an alleyway, passing by houses, and meet up with seven more individuals, wearing ninja costumes of the respective colour: blue, grey, white, black, silver, aqua and tan. They all then look up to the Borg Tower before climbing up a nearby building until they reach the rooftop, come across a billboard, and the green costumed individual climbs up it, stopping halfway to help his accomplices up so that they could climb up the exposed lettering of the billboard before running along it as they reach a support cable, got out some rope, and rappel down it.
They stop halfway and let go, free falling until they land on the tram line, just as the tram came at them, and they jump and somersault over it.
They then jump off and free fall to a support beam before climbing up it, reaching the railing of the highway, just as police sirens were heard, causing the green coloured and silver costumed individuals to signal the others to stop. Once the police cars had passed by, they signal them the all clear and they jump over the railing to get on the road. The white costumed individual hands the green one a rappel gun that he had been carrying before he aimed it at the Borg Tower and fired. Once the spike had hit it, they rappel up the cable, reaching the deck of Cyrus' private quarters.
Once they all got onto the deck, the yellow costumed individual places a spare rappel gun onto the railing before coming up to the window, just as the green costumed individual got out one of his swords, places it at the window, and cuts a doorway in it. Just as the broken window was about to come down, the red, black, yellow and aqua costumed individuals grab hold of it while the others were on lookout, and place it close by before they enter. Inside, it appeared to be an a storage room with many artefacts in display cases. They spread out to look around the place, obviously looking for something, just as the aqua costumed individual accidentally backs into a nearby case, which soon tumbles, but the yellow and tan costumed individuals quickly catch and straightened it before the silver one clocks the aqua one on the head for his incompetence. They immediately regroup, unable to find what they were looking for until the green costumed individual notices a portrait of Cyrus and went over to it, pushing the black and white ones aside. After briefly looking at it, the green costumed individual got out one of his swords and slashed it to pieces, revealing a red mask was behind it. Just as the white costumed individual was about to grab it, the silver one stops him while the green one got out some powder and threw it, revealing the mask is protected by infrared laser beams. Handing the silver one his unsheathed sword, the green one gets out his other swords and they accurately move them into the beams, managing to bypass them, and stab them into the wall, around the mask for the aqua one to grab it, and hand it to the green one, who holds it out high to them while the silver one was applauding for their success, until the white one pulled out the swords, realigning the laser beams, and setting off the alarm. As the alarm went off, steel shutters start coming down, slowly covering the windows as the green costumed individual turned the white one, who apologetically hands him his swords back before swiping them, sheathes them, and runs for the hole, followed by the others, managing to get out with the blue one sliding underneath the shutter that was about to cover the hole before the yellow and aqua costumed individuals help him up.
As the others look on from the deck, a mystery sound was heard as a familiar green Spinjitzu tornado passes behind the blue, yellow and aqua costumed individuals before coming back, making them spin out of control, and they all look around for the one responsible. "Nice masks." Someone said aloud and sarcastically to them. They all turn to see that it was Lloyd, who was in a new gi, just as he fires an Energy ball, knocking down the blue, yellow and aqua costumed individuals. "You could almost pass as Ninja." He soon poised and moved his hand back, beckoning them to attack him.
Unaware to Lloyd, the silver and tan costumed individuals, prepare to sneak up from behind him, but a gust of wind soon knocked them, sending them to the railing, which they hit with their backs. "You have something of my father's." Blake said, coming up next to Lloyd while crossing his fingers to stretch his hands and poised as well. He too was in a new gi, but was without sleeves. "I'd like it back." The green costumed individual pushes the black one forward, immediately running over to the rappel gun and grabbed it just as the blue, tan and silver ones got up with the black one jumping in the air to try and kick Lloyd, but is knocked back while the aqua one tried to punch Blake, but he spins around him, raises his leg, and kicks his backside, knocking him down just as Lloyd kicked the black one back and the green one fired the rappel gun. The grey costumed individual tries to punch Lloyd, but is punched into the air just as Blake jumped in the air and kicked the yellow one back with the tan and white ones charging at them, but they both knock them down just as the blue one charges at them along with the aqua one, but they quickly turn around to them, and kick them back. The red and silver ones immediately charge at them, but they punch them aside just as the white one gets up and tried to punch Lloyd, only to be forced back and punched down while Blake jumped in the air, and does a mule kick at the yellow and silver ones. When the red one tries to attack, Lloyd grabs hold of his wrist, kicks the blue one away, and throws the red one aside just as Blake quickly got back up and tripped the aqua one as he did so, until they move their hands about before immediately doing Spinjitzu, grabbed them all while in their tornadoes, and threw them across the deck, immediately dispersing and breathing heavily until they notice the green costumed individual jumping off the railing and rappel down with the white one following suit. They both look down before turning back to the individuals as they get up. "Go after them, I'll hold the others off!"
"You sure?"
"Yeah, go!" Lloyd immediately got onto the zip line and rappels down it, using his hands.
As they rappel down, passing the tram, where a man in a business suit notices the Green Ninja and smiled. Once the green costumed individual got onto a nearby rooftop, he immediately got out one of his swords, and struck the wire. The moment the wire had cut, it sent the white costumed individual immediately and screamed as he fell. Lloyd got to the end of the wire before swinging down as the individual was almost close to the ground before he soon grabbed him, dropped him in a nearby alleyway, and swung away with the individual watching him leave, just as sirens were heard and the individual sees Wilhelm and another officer, aiming their service weapons at him. "Oh, man." The white costumed individual said as he raised his hands.
On the deck of Cyrus' quarters, Blake spins around the red costumed individual before kicking him into the railing, turned to the blue, grey and light blue ones and held his hands out, blasting them back with a gust of Wind before turning to the silver one as he prepared to strike him with both fists, but Blake grabs hold of his wrists. As he kept his hands on the silver costumed individual, the yellow one comes up behind him, hoping to use the distraction to his advantage, but Blake immediately had his left hand grab hold of both arms before he turned around, holding his right arm out, firing a gust of Wind at the yellow costumed individual, knocking him over to the railing which he immediately helplessly slipped over in the confusion, and off the deck, letting him fall to the street below as he screamed. (A/N: Wilhelm scream moment) "Deadly, mate." The silver costumed ninja said before moving for his left shoulder to ram into Blake, making him let go and land on the ground with his back by the railing. "Let's get out of here!"
As Blake slowly got up, the 7 costumed individuals quickly took off as he watched them leave. "Damn it." He said to himself before heading over to the railing and vaults over it, pressing his communicator as he did so.
Up ahead, the green costumed individual jumps onto the highway, heading into a construction site, throws his helmet out, and comes out, on a motorbike, with the mask on the back of it. He was now wearing a helmet with a red visor as he turned to the side, and crashes into a couple of signs to see Lloyd as he swung along on the wire before quickly turning to face the opposite direction and takes off, using some wood boards as a ramp. "P.I.X.A.L., I need my car!" Lloyd said into his communicator as he swung on the wire.
"Your coordinates, Master Lloyd?" P.I.X.A.L. asked through the communicator.
"Somewhere over-" He tried to find where he was as he lets go of the wire and free falls. "You know how to find me." In the streets, a green rover drives along before coming across the highway while Lloyd continued falling as he sees the oncoming traffic just as the rover then drove off a gap of a nearby broken bridge with the panel visor opening before he gets in, with a yelp, as the rover then landed on the other side of the bridge and skids to a stop, making Lloyd chuckle. "I could kiss you, Pix."
"I don't think Zane would approve." P.I.X.A.L. doesn't understand what Lloyd said as the panel closes and he drives off, after the biker.
"It was a compliment, Pix." Blake said through the communicator.
The biker drives along the highway, weaving through traffic just as Lloyd's rover comes lands on the road and drives after the biker, who looks back at his pursuer before quickly going faster. "Who am I chasing?" Lloyd asked as he drove along the highway.
"He or she is not in our database." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the car's communication system.
"Whoever they are, they're good. I need backup."
"All of the others are on active missions throughout Ninjago. You were lucky that Blake was close by."
Lloyd turns to the right, the right wheels scraping along the bollard as it briefly rises above it to pass some cars before moving back, managing to catch up with the biker, who notices him. "Blake, try and cut him off!"
Up ahead, a small pink and grey jet flies along the sky before coming across the highway where there was an intersection up ahead. "Pix, what is the most accurate possibility that the thief is gonna take?" Blake, who was piloting the jet, asked.
"Try the left side of the intersection." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the jet's communication system before Blake moves the controls forward to go faster.
Further back, the biker and Lloyd were still driving along, avoiding cars, going through a small tunnel, and come across the intersection, where Blake soon showed up in the jet and formed a roadblock on the left side. But the biker instead turned right before Lloyd's rover also turned right. "Damn!" Blake quickly moves the controls back. Up ahead, there was a closed off gap on the highway before the bike flies over it just as Lloyd's rover did so as well, knocking the signs off as a result. They both land on the other side before continuing on and Lloyd manages to get onto the left side of the bike while Blake showed up and got on the right side. Seeing himself trapped between the two vehicles, the biker stops his bike and the other vehicles continue on before Lloyd immediately turned around while Blake loops back around. Lloyd and the biker rev their vehicle engines before immediately charging at each other with the biker's bike moving some spoiler spikes to the front and slam into the ground, giving the bike the advantage by flying over the rover. Lloyd looked up to see the biker as he almost crashes into Blake, who managed to turn to one side before they both see him jump off and free falls from the air while wearing a parachute. Immediately stopping his rover, Lloyd gets out of it just as Blake landed his jet before seeing the biker deploying his parachute. What was on the parachute surprised Lloyd as he takes off his hood, revealing to have longer hair, reaching down to his chin, just as Blake came up to the surprised master while removing his hood. His hair was now in a style, similar to Morro's, and his cheek scars were barely visible. "He got away?"
He puts some glasses on before seeing the symbol on the parachute as well just as the biker lands on a small boat in the canal with Lloyd and Blake watching it. "Blake, Master Lloyd, are you two alright? Are you both there?"
They both turn around as Lloyd placed his hand on his communicator. "Yeah, I'm here." He said. "So is Blake. It's time to get the team back." As Lloyd spoke, the boat with the mystery biker, who was at the bowel section of the boat, heads into a tunnel.
