Several minutes later, Lloyd and Harumi come across a canal street where many homeless people were, as well as a boat that was slowly moving along the river while they walk along a badly made pathway. Lloyd briefly stopped to look at some people around a campfire in an oil drum to try and keep warm. Close by, a young girl was coughing while an elderly woman was next to her just as Harumi walked down some steps, followed by Lloyd, until she came up to them, opens the bag, and get a piece of cake and a banana for the both of them as Lloyd came up to her. "Somethings are easier to do when you're not a princess." She said as they keep on going. "If I asked my parents, they would never allow it." They stop as Harumi opened the bag again. "But these people are hungry, and we have so much food at the palace."

Close by, there were two men fighting before Lloyd and Harumi stop to look on. "Why would you do that?" One of them asked. "Why, you ****ing pig?"

"It was laying there." The other man replied before Lloyd and Harumi came up to them.

"Guys, behave." Harumi said, getting out some fruit and hands them to them, which they take and nod to her as thanks before they leave, and Lloyd and Harumi continue along.

They soon stop by a group of kids as Harumi soon hands two bananas to Lloyd, who gives them to a nearby boy, as a few more children came up to them, begging for it. "Please, please." A young boy said as Lloyd hands him a piece of cake.

"Can I have some?" A young girl asked as Harumi then handed her an orange.

"Patience, little ones." Harumi told them as some of the kids leave with some provided food. "There's enough for each of you."

The last child then took the rucksack containing the last of the food as Lloyd and Harumi watch them leave before they continue forward. "Can I ask you a question?" Lloyd asked as they move along the balcony. "Do you enjoy being a princess?"

"Everyone thinks being a princess is supposed to be easy and wonderful, and I guess it's okay, but a lot of the time, it's really hard."

Lloyd scoffs. "Tell me about it. Uh, not being a princess. I mean, being the Green Ninja." They turn left onto a small badly made bridge as Harumi then took off her hood and looked at Lloyd.

"Are you sure? Won't Gewuji get jealous?"

"I'm sure she won't mind, as long as I don't tell her."

Smiling, Harumi looks at the river while moving to the railing and Lloyd placed his elbows on it. "We have to live up to a role that was bestowed upon us. "We never chose these mantles we hold."

"I know. It's hard to live a normal life. At least I get to wear a mask, but you..."

"I wear my own masks. Sometimes painted. Sometimes a kidnapper of princesses!" She puts her hood back on, poses in a villainous way and laughs evilly before taking her hood off again.

"In my defence, it was my first day. By the way, is it rude to ask, how did you get that scar?" He noted the scar on her cheek.

"When my parents died and I was adopted, I wasn't happy at first. So, the front gate guards, who were new at the time, and I went out one day so we could go for ice cream. While they were distracted with buying the ice cream, I grabbed a woman's handbag and started running. Ran into an alleyway, easy to hide from the police, and the two guards, until your friend Blake, when he was Samurai X at the time, confronted me. Tried fighting him, ended with me breaking his wrist and him cutting me with a nail file that was in the bag, got arrested, and almost would've ended up in Kryptarium, if it weren't for Hutchins. And you?" She noted the scar on the left side of his jaw.

"Some time last year, Blake's predecessor as Master of Wind. He came back as a ghost from the Cursed Realm, we were fighting in Stiix, he ended up striking me by the left side of my jaw." They soon smile and move a bit closer as they look at each other before Lloyd immediately backed away.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry. I can't let myself get too close to you. Especially since I have a girlfriend, and-" Glass breaking was soon heard, followed by laughter, as Harumi quickly puts her hood back on to see some bikers coming up to some kids, surrounding them at a wall.

"Just look at that, buddy." One of them said before pushing a kid down before a member with a mohawk pushes another down and rest his foot on top of him as the members then laugh at him.

"We must leave." Harumi told Lloyd as they hid behind a corner.

"These people have enough to worry about." He replied. "They shouldn't have to be bullied by low-level street thugs." He prepared to move, but Harumi stops him.

"Don't. If you try to stop them, you'll reveal us." As the bikers kept harassing the kids, Lloyd notices the insignia on the back of one of their jackets, causing him to gasp. "What's wrong?"

"That's the same symbol I saw before. The Sons of Garmadon." He lowered his head, in sadness. "He was my father." He then growled and tired to move, but Harumi stops him.

"No. You said it yourself. They are only low-level thugs." They keep looking on as one had picked one up, trying to pull him forward. "They don't know anything, they only take orders. It's the person who gives them that scares me."

"I have to do something." Engine revving was soon heard as they look to see a rover coming as people quickly got off the road as it drives over to where the members were.

"Or you could let Samurai X take care of it."

The hatch opens, revealing Samurai X, in a new samurai suit before jumping out, and lands between his vehicle and the members, who were shocked at his presence. "Step away from the pedestrians." He said, getting out a sword and holding it out to them.

"Samurai X." A member with a small red mohawk said. "Let's split."

"I ain't running." A member replied, coming forward. It was Ashton's brother. He no longer had his brown jacket, and instead was wearing a black leather jacket with leather tassels, white and black t-shirt, grey jeans and black biker boots. "I'm not afraid of a kid, playing dress up, acting like a hero."

"Do not come close." Samurai X said, spinning his sword. "I am warning you." He then held it out to him.

He soon held out a switchblade. "Make me, asshole."

The member immediately came and tried to stab him, only for Samurai X to move to the left, raises his knee to hit him in the stomach, making him drop the switchblade, and throws him into the members, who quickly catch him. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

"**** this, man." Ashton's brother gets up and takes off as the other members did so as well, splitting into two groups.

As Samurai X sheathed his sword, the crowd, who were attracted by the scene, cheer for his victory. "It's good to know the Ninja aren't the only ones protecting Ninjago." Lloyd said to Harumi.

"Remember, kids, look out for one another and stay safe." Samurai X said to the kids before backflipping into his rover as the hatch closes and he drives away.

"Who is Samurai X?" Harumi asked.

"I wish I knew." Lloyd replied. "Blake wouldn't tell me or the others who his successor is at all." He soon turned to her. "Princess-"

"Please..." She takes off her hood. "...call me 'Rumi'."

Lloyd then sighed. "Rumi, I should get you home."

"Yes, you should be home, your Highness." Hutchins called out as they both turn to see him coming up to them, causing Harumi to gasp.

"Hutchins." She said.

"May I ask what you're doing outside the palace?"

"Rumi and I were just going for a walk." Lloyd explained.

Hutchins then scoffed. "Rumi? A walk?"

"It was my idea." Harumi said. "Please, don't be angry with Lloyd."

"It's troubling to see you two are on a first name basis. The streets are not safe at night, your Highness. I must insist you return with me..." He immediately grabs her wrist. "...at once." Hutchins and Harumi soon walk away as Lloyd watched them leave with Hutchins briefly smirking at him before turning his head back with Lloyd being suspicious about it.

The following morning, the Ninja were using the gardens as their training grounds as Lloyd explained his previous night to them, almost feeling sorry for Gewuji, who wasn't happy. "Moonlit walks on the canal." Cole said as he jumped back to avoid Lloyd's dao, while holding a hammer before charging at him to try and strike, but Lloyd rolls to the side.

"Sharing food." Blake said as he quickly crossed his two kamas downward to block Maggie's glaive and slid underneath, between her feet to try and kick her, but she backflips just as he then got up. "Sounds like a date."

Gewuji uses her karambits to block Geoff's bisento and force it down while angered at what they were saying. "It was not a date." Lloyd called out to the two. "Besides, I'm with Gewuji."

Zane backs away from Kai as he swung his two swords at him before getting out his bow. "A date, a social or romantic engagement often involving a meal or an intimate setting." He said as he places his hands on the ground and raised his feet to avoid another strike, gets up, does a handstand, spins and stands on one hand.

Jay chuckled as he swung his nunchucks at Nya, who blocks it with her spear. "You can't argue with a Nindroid." He said.

"Look, if you like this girl, dump the one you currently have, and step up your game." Kai said, sheathing his swords, jumps and does Spinjitzu. Zane cartwheels to the side to avoid it.

"How dare you insult my sister!" Geoff yelled as he was on one knee while blocking a more angered Gewuji's karambits before she immediately did Spinjitzu and tries to go at him, but Geoff does a barrel roll to avoid it.

"I told you, I have Gewuji." Lloyd asked as he was blocking Cole's hammer. "And what do you mean 'game'?"

"It means one's ability to charm." Blake replied, tossing his kamas in the air, jumped to avoid Maggie's glaive, catches his weapons, and lands behind her, immediately doing Spinjitzu.

"You need to convince her why you're the most logical mate." Zane said as Kai dispersed his Spinjitzu tornado to try and catch his breath before getting out his swords just as Zane fired an arrow at him, knocking him down.

"If you want to impress her, dump Gewuji, and act tough." Cole said, angering her even more as she soon kicked the back of Geoff's leg, knocking him down. "Like, flex your muscles and stuff." He sheathes his hammer and brings his fists together. "Break things." He activates his Earth Punch, which also opens up his scar, which glows orange before slamming them into the ground, stands on one hand, and spins, creating his Spinjitzu tornado, striking a nearby training dummy, part of it coming at Maggie, who moved to the side, only to end up getting tripped by Blake, as Cole came back to Lloyd and dispersed his Spinjitzu tornado.

Jay scoffed as Lloyd noticed a really angry Gewuji, who was insulted by their teammates' comments. "No way." Jay said as he spun around just as his wife backed away. "You gotta make her laugh. Just ask my wife." He quickly moved to the side when she tried to strike him. "She couldn't resist my sense of humour." He soon moved forward, only for the chain on his nunchucks get wrapped around the spear handle, and is forced forward when Nya moved back, spins, and lands on his back.

"It's an acquired taste." She replied.

"Guys-" Gewuji tried to get their attention.

"Don't listen to them." Kai said to Lloyd. "You gotta act cool." He quickly gets back up to face Zane. "Like you don't even care."

"But I do." Lloyd replied.

"Ah ha." Jay said. "So you admit it."

"Okay, stop." Nya said. "All of you are really not helping him."

"Nya's right." Maggie said. "Look, just be yourself. It's so much easier than trying to be someone you're not."

Lloyd then smiled, only to notice Gewuji sobbing and taking off, nudging Zane aside in the process, as the others soon notice. "Gewu-" He tries to go after her, only for Cole to end up tripping him and chuckles.

"Got ya." He said, not realising the situation.

"Cole, he was only gonna go try and explain to Gewuji." Geoff said.

"Oh, I forgot about her!" Lloyd quickly got up and rushes inside to go find his girlfriend.

"What do you think this means for them?" Jay asked.
