Later that night, the Destiny's Bounty flies across the Badlands with a searchlight on. On the deck, Kai, who was controlling the searchlight, Jay, Cole, Lloyd, Nya, Geoff, Gewuji, Maggie and Blake look around from the starboard side until the searchlight comes across Zane's body. Three ropes immediately drop down and Lloyd, Nya and Maggie rappel down them to reach the ground. "Zane!" Lloyd said as they came up to him.

"Zane, can you hear me?" Maggie asked.

"What did they do to him?" Nya asked.

Jay, Cole and Blake soon rappel down to the ground, coming up to them. "Say something, Zane." Jay said. "Can you hear us? Zane!"

Blake looks up at the Bounty. "P.I.X.A.L., lower the gurney!" He yelled. "Zane's in bad shape!" A gurney starts coming down to them as Jay and Cole head over to it.

"Hang on, buddy." Lloyd said. "Hang on."

Maggie looks at Jay and Cole as they unclip the gurney. "Get that damn thing here now!" She yelled as they immediately bring it over before she and Blake pick Zane up, and place him on the gurney. On the deck, Geoff and Gewuji look down as Kai shun the searchlight on Jay and Cole as they bring the gurney back to the hooks before Nya and Blake join them in clipping them back onto the sides.

"Okay, winch him up, Pix." Nya called out before the gurney rises up to the Bounty.

In what appeared to be a control room, the Ninja and Harumi look at Zane as he lied on the gurney while his heart monitor was beeping slowly, and some plugs were in his head. Everyone was speechless before Lloyd looked at the monitor. "How bad is it?" He asked.

"He has extensive damage to all systems." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the monitor. "His neural net and cognitive cores suffered severe failures."

"Can you save him?" Geoff asked.

"I've diverted power to critical life functions. But Zane will have to do most of the work. He must reconfigure his system and reboot himself."

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Harumi asked.

"We have to keep moving." Lloyd replied, shocking everyone. "Or the Sons of Garmadon will find us. They'll do anything to get their hands on the child."

"I just don't get how a baby can be a key." Maggie said.

"Gewuji and I don't either, but that's what they said." Cole replied.

"They called him the key to the third mask." Gewuji said, concerned about her new adoptive son.

"If Cole and Gewuji are right, we need to disappear." Blake said.

"Blake's right." Lloyd said. "We gotta get as far away from Ninjago City as we can."

Jay soon sighed. "Doesn't seem right." He replied. "Abandoning Ninjago City."

"We're not abandoning. There are others who will protect her."

"Like who?" Kai asked.

"There's always Samurai X." Geoff replied as Nya turned to glare at Blake, the only one who knows who Samurai X truly is.

"Whoever that is." She said.

"Whoever it is, they're going to have to cover for us until we get a handle on things." Lloyd replied.

"P.I.X.A.L., set a new course." Blake said as he faced the monitor. "Anywhere but here." They all look down at Zane, in concern.

Outside, the Bounty flies across the night sky as dark clouds were around it.

In the Ninja's quarters below deck, the male Ninja were with the baby as he was crying very loudly with Cole and Blake covering their ears as Lloyd held him. "Maybe he's thirsty." He said. "Give him some milk."

"I tired." Cole replied as Lloyd handed him the baby before heading over to Kai. "He doesn't like milk." He hands Kai the baby.

"What else do babies drink?" Jay asked.

"Don't ask me, ask him." Kai replied, referring to the still crying baby, as he handed him to Jay.

"He's a baby!" Cole said. "He hasn't learned how to talk yet."

"Maybe he's got an upset tummy, I'll try to burp him." Geoff said as he took his adoptive nephew from Jay. He puts him over his shoulder and pats his back to try and get him to burp, but the baby still cries. "Okay, it's not an upset tummy." He soon handed the baby to Blake.

"Oh, maybe he needs a diaper change!" Blake yelled as he handed him to Cole.

"Oh, my gosh!" Cole yelled at the thought while holding the crying baby high. "Do we even have diapers?" He puts the baby in a small box as he still cried.

"Why would we have diapers?" Lloyd asked. "We're Ninja!"

"Oh, maybe we could use one of our hoods instead." Jay replied.

"Not my hood." Kai said.

"I just cleaned mine." Blake replied.

"We'll draw straws." Lloyd said. "Loser gives up their hood."

"#Spider's in the house, sleep, sleep#" Harumi was heard singing as they turn to see her comforting the baby, who stopped crying. "#The spider bit the mouse, sleep deep. Don't wake up or else, you'll find a spider in your mouth#" The baby then sighed and yawned.

"Wow, you're really good at that." Cole said.

"Naw, he's just tired. Too much excitement. He'll go to sleep now." She puts the baby back in the box, and he starts to gurgle a bit while Harumi left the room, and Lloyd goes to follow her.

On the deck, it was dawn as Lloyd and Harumi look over the starboard side to see the clouds that emit electricity. "My father told me they call this the Dead Man's Squall." Lloyd said as they look at it.

"Do you remember much about your father before he left you as a child? When he was bad?"

"No, not really. I was too young. When I met up with him when I was 18, he was still bad. We did horrible things, but I made up for them. What about your parents?"

"Sometimes in my dreams they're right next to me. It's like they're still here, but then I... I wake up."

Lloyd places a hand on her shoulder as Gewuji sees it just as she was about to head below deck. "You're not alone, Rumi."

Harumi soon placed a hand on his. "Either are you. I know it must be difficult to think they're trying to bring your father back. I can't imagine what must be going through your head. Whatever happens, I'll be here." She starts to come closer to Lloyd.

Gewuji sheds a tear as she looked on, assuming her ex-boyfriend is kissing the princess, and heads down below. But before they could lock lips, Lloyd backed away. "Uh, I better go see what the- Um, I have to go... Uh, that way." He immediately power walked away.

Down below, Gewuji had her back to the wall, shedding a few tears as Nya came up to her. "Are you okay, Gewuji?" She asked.

"Not really." She replied. "I just saw Lloyd and Rumi kiss." Nya was immediately shocked. "There goes any chance of trying to reconcile. I'm so stupid into thinking it could happen. Remind to punch Cole in the face."

"Gewuji, I know what he is going through."

"Cole told me. You didn't know between him and Jay after Geoff saw you two kiss."

"Yes, and I regretted it. But, in the end, even as Cole and I had dated, I still loved Jay, he knew it, which is why we broke up. It took time, but Jay and I were able to get back together."

"How?"

"You don't know this, but there was a Djinn called Nadakhan. He said I reminded him of his beloved First Mate, and forced me to marry him, even had her body take me over. The others took him down with a venom, but it hit me as well. As I laid in his arms before I died, Jay made the wish that I should've taken his hand, which also reversed time. That's also why you and everyone don't remember."

"But only you and Jay knew?"

"Yes. Soon or later, Lloyd may have to make a choice like I did. You or Rumi."

As Gewuji opened her mouth to speak, the baby was soon heard crying. "Uh, I better, uh... Check up on him." She quickly rushed off as Nya watched her enter their quarters to comfort the baby.

In the bridge, Geoff, Maggie and Blake were looking at the monitor before Blake raises his glasses up to his forehead to rub his eyes, as Lloyd immediately came in before stopping, breathing heavily. "You're a little out of breath." Geoff said.

"Something happen?" Maggie asked.

"Geoff, are you okay with me...being with someone else?" Lloyd asked.

"Lloyd, you and Gewuji agreed to just be friends." He replied. "I'm fine with it. And it was a bit rude of the other to inadvertently insult her by talking about your night with Harumi."

"Geoff, we said we were sorry." Maggie and Blake said at the same time.

"Where is she, anyway?" Lloyd asked.

"I think she went to go check up on her son." Blake replied as he lowered his glasses.

"'Her... son'?"

"You know, the baby she and Cole found." Maggie said.

"Uh, right. I just don't get why she said she wanted to adopt it. She's only 17."

"Cole once told me that age is just a number. My dad told me that my grandmother, who was his predecessor, was just 14 when she gave birth to him. She can handle it."

"Ever since she was a kid, she always wanted to be a mother." Geoff said. "When we used to live on Chen's island as kids, he and our dad would force us to watch over most of the kabukis' babies, along with mom. Bit of a struggle, I mean, we didn't know anything at that time because we only started when Gewuji was 5. Feeding, burping, reading stories, singing lullabies, changing diapers, almost everything, but we got use to it. And then one day, she asked mom how she had us, she said it's because she found the man she loved, obviously my father, Heianmofa Clouse. And told her that once she gets older, she'll have a bundle in her tummy when she finds the right man, and she'll have her very own baby. Learning about this, she said she wants two boys when she grows up. While I am proud of her to think that, I told her she must find someone she truly loves, and then once I said that, she understood."

"Think she'll ever become a mother when she finds someone better than me?"

"I'm positive. But hey, it might happen in the future. You two seem compatible."

"Now you're just sounding like Zane and P.I.X.A.L."

In the quarters below deck, the baby was sleeping peacefully, having been calmed down by Gewuji, as she rocked him and he yawned. "#Somewhere over the rainbow, Way up high#" She sang as she rocked him. "#And the dreams that you dreamed of, Once in a lullaby. Oh, somewhere over the rainbow, Bluebirds fly, And the dreams that you dreamed of, Dreams really do come true#" She soon moved a finger onto his chest, causing him to giggle but loosened the blanket. "You like that, huh?" She keeps rocking him while preparing to reposition the blanket. "#Someday I'll wish upon a star, Wake up where the clouds are far behind me#" As she was about to put it back into place, Gewuji notices something on the back of the blanket, and gasped.

The Destiny's Bounty was soon in the middle of a storm as Nya pilots the Bounty as Jay came up to her, one lightning bolt scaring him a little. "Wow, look at that storm." Jay said.

"You know, there was an ancient tribe in Ninjago that worshipped a storm spirit called Wohira." Nya told her husband. "They believed Wohira protected them."

"'Wohira'?" He chuckles. "That's silly." Lightning bolts close by soon shook the ship. "Ahh, not so silly anymore!"

"Jay, Nya, can you come to Control?" P.I.X.A.L. asked through the monitor.

In the control room, Jay and Nya come in to see Kai, Cole, Lloyd, Geoff, Maggie, Blake and Harumi looking at the monitor. "Everything okay?" Nya asked.

"There's been a... development. I was attempting to repair the damage to his system when I stumbled on something." The gibberish Mr. E spoke played out.

"What's that?" Lloyd asked.

"A digital communication between Mr. E and The Quiet One. Zane intercepted and recorded the call in his last moments of consciousness. It was encrypted, but I managed to decipher the message."

The gibberish started to play again as everyone looked at each other before looking back at the monitor when the gibberish then stopped. "The trap has been set." Mr. E's deciphered voice said in the message, surprising everyone.

"Trap?" Jay asked. "What trap?"

Maggie just scoffed. "Classic bad guy stuff." She replied. "It must be in their DNA."

"But wait a minute." Geoff said. "If Mr. E sent a message, maybe we can locate The Quiet One's whereabouts. P.I.X.A.L., can you triangulate the point of origin?"

"I've already started the trace program." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the monitor as a side image showed Ninjago as it starts showing many lines to try and find the location.

"That's great, P.I.X.A.L." Lloyd said.

"How long will it take?" Cole asked.

"I don't know." P.I.X.A.L. replied through the monitor. "The storm is interfering with my trace program. If we descended to a lower altitude, it might help."

"The storm is hiding us." Harumi said. "If we drop below the clouds, won't the Sons of Garmadon spot us?"

"Rumi's right." Lloyd replied. "We're in pretty bad shape at the moment. We have to stay in the storm. Can't risk being spotted."

"So, where do we go?" Cole asked.

The door soon opened as Gewuji came in, holding the baby's blanket. "We go there!" She replied, holding it up to show them that it was also a map.

"What is this?" Blake asked.

"All this time, it was with the baby. The map to the last Oni Mask."
