By the Bounty's crash site, the Ninja and P.I.X.A.L. regroup while Gewuji held the baby, who was sleeping after she fed him some tea. "Guess we got some work to do." Kai said, referring to the damage to the ship.
"But, what about Lloyd and Rumi?" Geoff asked.
"I'll go look for them." Maggie replied.
"I'll come as well." Nya said.
"You both just want to get out of working to fix the ship." Jay replied.
"Come on, Lloyd and Rumi are important too."
"Better be quick." Blake said. "Because I heard that Primeval's Eye is home to most creatures that are believed to be extinct, like Grundles."
"Grundles?"
"Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalicus." Zane explained.
"Gesundheit." Gewuji replied.
"I heard about them too." Jay said. "Boy, am I glad we live in an age where we don't have to deal with those things?"
"Don't be." Blake replied. "I did hear rumours."
"Look, let's just get to work." Cole said. "We can theorise rumours later."
"Right." They immediately split up to get to work.
In the middle of Primeval's Eye, Lloyd and Harumi run from a green dinosaur-like creature as it chases them with Lloyd stepping on a weak twig and the creature taking down trees as it chased after them. Harumi soon tripped, causing Lloyd to turn back, sheath his sword, and help her up. "Come on." He said before they turn left, briefly looking back, but soon fall down a small cliff, immediately bouncing before landing in a trench. Hearing the creature approach, Lloyd puts a finger to his mouth as it comes over to the trench, and sticks its head down to them. Unable to get its prey, the creature soon leaves and Lloyd sighs out of relief.
Getting out his sword, Lloyd stands up, and saw the coast was clear before nodding to Harumi, get out of the trench, with Lloyd using his sword to support him, but he soon stopped and groaned. "You okay?" Harumi asked.
"Yeah." Lloyd breathes heavily a little. "Just... need a second." He tries to move the blanket up, but groaned from the pain of his wounded and dislocated shoulder as the blood has moved down close to his right hip.
"Let me see." Harumi pulls the back of the blanket, allowing Lloyd's sling to rise, and he nervously smiles. "How's that?"
"Oh, um, good. Very close. I-I-I mean snuggly, I mean snug."
"Are you sure we're heading the right way?"
Lloyd then looked at the blanket. "Pretty sure. If this map is right, there's a river that runs through Primeval's Eye that way." He points out to a path with his sword. "And the river leads straight to the hidden Oni Temple that holds the third mask."
Harumi soon sighed. "I don't know, Lloyd. Maybe it would be smarter to turn back and try to find the others. I mean, your arm is still pretty bad, the wound is still bleeding, and we're all alone out here."
"I'm doing okay. And the bleeding is less. Anyway, we can't take the chance. If the Sons of Garmadon get the mask first, they'll have all three."
"Okay, but I want you to rest that arm for a while and let me take a turn." She grabs Lloyd's sword from him, heads over to some vines, and strikes them, getting them out of the way as she walked along, with Lloyd looking on before joining her.
By the Bounty's crash site, the Ninja were hard at work fixing it, and had built an improvised ladder for them to climb up to the deck or down to the ground. While they were trying repair the damage, Zane looks at the jungle from the figurehead, trying to search for Lloyd and Harumi with his sensors, but finds nothing, as P.I.X.A.L. joins him. "Anyway sign of Lloyd or Rumi?" She asked.
"Negative." Zane replied. "Should I gather a search party?"
"In this jungle, it's better to stay with the Bounty. Let's get her mended and the computer up and running so we can reestablish our com-link." They soon walk away from the figure head.
On the deck, Cole, who had an improvised bag on, was whistling to the baby as he held him in his hands. "What do you think the baby's name is?" He asked Kai, who was using a welding torch on the starboard damaged thruster. "You think he looks like a Cole Jr.?"
"'Cole Jr.'?" Geoff asked as he was pulling out some twigs from the sail. "Naw, more like a Jack."
"'Jack'?"
"Well, you and Gewuji found him in a box. Like Jack in a Box."
"How can Jack be in a box?" Zane asked, not understanding the phrase, as he and P.I.X.A.L. pass by.
"It's a childhood phrase, Zane." He throws the broken twigs away and turned to his sister as she was knitting some replacement sails. "So, Gewuji, how about Jack?"
"Jack's okay." Gewuji said. "'Jack Sanders.' I like it." (A/N: I personally didn't feel like that Cole Jr. would be suitable for the baby. More like for Cole's future son)
"Good." Geoff then turned back to Cole. "Gewuji wouldn't like her son being named Cole Jr. Sanders. Jack Sanders is more suitable."
Jay, with a welding mask on and holding a welding torch, had managed to pull out P.I.X.A.L.'s damaged sword, and throws it aside while turning to Cole, raising his mask. "I think you should put the baby down and help us out." He said.
"Sorry, Gewuji stuck me with babysitting detail." He replied before Jay touched his communicator.
"Okay, Zane, give it another try."
Static was heard as Kai stopped welding and touched his communicator. "Zane?" He asked while raising his mask. "Come in, Zane."
"Ah, crap." Blake, with some goggles on, said as he came out from underneath the hull, stopping next to Jay. "Now the radios aren't working." Growling was soon heard nearby, causing the three of them to look around as Cole was putting the newly named Jack in the bag.
"What do you think that was?" He asked.
"Probably just some cute little critter?" Kai asked.
"Or a big critter." Blake replied.
"A great vicious critter with lots of teeth and claws and pinchers." Jay said.
"You can't tell all that from how it sounds!" Geoff replied, jumping down from the masts, and coming up next to Cole, rubbing Jack's cheek at the same time.
"Oh, yeah? If you listen real carefully-" Frequency feedback soon cuts him off, scaring the five male Ninja.
"Did you guys say something?" Zane asked through the communicator.
In the bridge, Zane and P.I.X.A.L. managed to get the radios back online. "Uh, any luck reaching Lloyd?" Kai asked through the communicator.
"P.I.X.A.L. and I have only been able to repair the shortwave com-link. It appears we won't be able to find them until we get the Bounty over these trees. Ready to test the thrusters?"
"Let's give it a go." Cole said through the communicator.
"Ready when you are." Geoff said through the communicator.
"Fire it up." Kai said through the communicator.
"Try it, Zane." Blake said through the communicator.
"Go for it." Jay said through the communicator. Zane moves a lever back while P.I.X.A.L. moved one forward.
Outside, the thruster starts up, causing Cole to chuckle. "It's working." He said.
"I'll say." Jay replied. "Fi-yah!"
"Right as rain." Geoff said.
Pretty soon, it starts emitting black smoke and shakes, knocking Kai about. "Shut it off." Cole said as Geoff quickly ducked down.
"Abort, abort!" Jay yelled as the thruster then let out a giant explosion of smoke.
"Shut it down." Kai called out. "Shut it down."
"Whoa!" Blake yelled. "Turn it off! Turn it off!"
In the bridge, Zane and P.I.X.A.L. hear their demands. "Off! Turn it off!" Zane quickly lowered two levers, shutting the thrusters down, and runs out to the deck to see Kai, Jay, Cole and Blake covered in soot while Geoff stood up, having avoided it.
"That's it." Jay proclaimed. "I've had it." Zane chuckles as P.I.X.A.L. joins him. "First, we crash land in who knows where, surrounded by who knows what, and now this."
"At least Jack's fine, so we can give the diapers to Jay." Cole replied, turning around to show a laughing Jack to them.
"To wear them like the time we made him become Cupid?" Blake asked as he took off his goggles and puts his glasses on.
Jay sarcastically laughs. "Hilarious." He replied before hovering was heard, scaring him. "What? What was that?"
They all look to see Nya landing the Samurai X mech close by with Maggie on the left shoulder. "Look what we found." Nya said.
"My suit." P.I.X.A.L. said before looking down as Blake. "I mean...Blake's suit."
"It's okay, P.I.X.A.L." Blake replied as he looks up at her and Nya gets out. "It's yours now."
"There was also a note on it from Lloyd." Maggie said, holding up a giant leaf. "He and Rumi are going to the temple."
"Then they're okay." Gewuji replied as she came up next to Cole.
"But we're still grounded." Kai said.
"Let's get back to work before the Sons of Garmadon pick up our trail." Blake replied as they resume working and Nya and Maggie climb up the ladder.
