Further in the jungle, Lloyd was looking at the blanket map while Harumi kept cutting down vines that laid in front of their path, until Harumi notices something and yelped. Lloyd comes up next to her and places a reassuring hand on her shoulder before noticing what scared her. "The Sons of Garmadon insignia." He said.
They look to their side to discover the insignia was on part of a boat. "But...what is it doing here?" Harumi asked. Lloyd jumps onto the boat before helping Harumi up and she hands him his sword back as he went into the small cabin. "Is anyone there?"
Lloyd sheathes his sword. "No, it's abandoned." The interior had some dust and spider web before Lloyd notices something leaning nearby, and grabs it, shown to be a Heckler & Koch MSG90. He gets the magazine out to look into it. "Half empty." He puts the magazine back into the rifle, pulls back the bolt to load it, moves it back, and notices something on a nearby table. "The same map?" He puts the rifle down, turns to it, and sees a map and a key.
"I thought no one knew where the Oni Temple was located."
"So why are there two maps?" Lloyd looks at the blanket, and then the map on the table. "The Quiet One must have sent an expedition looking for the temple."
"Doesn't look like they got very far."
"Yeah, but where did they go? What happened to them?"
Harumi soon grabbed the key. "Maybe we'll have better luck." She heads further down to the helm, inserts the key, and turns it. The engine sputters a bit as Lloyd watches her. "Start, you vicious bastard!"
Further back, the Sons of Garmadon keep moving toward the smoke until something bursts, causing Ultra Violet to groan before immediately stopping, as the others did so as well, and look at her. "Piece of crap!" She yelled, getting off, and sees that her front wheel had a puncture. "Oh, come on! Of all the ****ing days to have this!"
Killow then got off his bike, growling as he did so, and came up to her, knocking some bikers back as he did so. "What is it now?!" He asked, annoyed that it was the third time that they stopped today.
"I got a flat wheel and I don't even have a spare!" She points to it before she then turned to the others, unaware that some Strangle Weed was slowly coming out of some bushes, moving up to them. "Any of you boobs got a spare wheel?" They all look at each other before either shaking their heads or shrugging at her, not noticing the Strangle Weed at all. "You are all a bunch of raggabrashes!" (A/N: Ancient insult to those who are disorganised)
"We don't have time to waste. Partner up with any one of the others, and let's get underway."
"You can come with me." Scars said.
"Very well then." She replied, grabbing her gear from the back of the bike, and heads over to him.
But as she did so, the Strangle Weed wraps around Timor's leg, along with two other members, causing them to scream, and fall off their bikes as they soon were dragged away from the group. "Timor!" Seymour yelled, watching as his twin brother was getting dragged away.
Scars quickly gets off of his bike, pulls out a Heckler & Koch Model 512 from behind his bike with his left hand, pumps it, lifts his visor up to see properly, aims at the Strangle Weed, and fired at it. The shot hits the Strangle Weed that was around Timor, breaking it, while it continued dragging the two members away, who desperately scream out for help, but no one does a single thing, and just fearfully stared until they were both gone, out of their sight. Timor, covered in dirt from being dragged, immediately crawled away from the remains of the vines just as Scars puts his shotgun back, went over to him, and holds his left hand out to him. "Get up." He simply said.
Timor grabs it and Scars pulls him up onto his feet. Killow immediately turned to him as he went over to his bike while Timor tried his best to brush the dirt off his clothes and reassures his twin brother. "Now, why would you go and save one who is determined to sacrifice himself for Lord Garmadon?" He asked.
"It was either him, Cameron, or Rufus." He soon looked at the two bikes that were Cameron and Rufus'. "Now you have their wheels as a clayton's."
"Ah, that's excellent." Ultra Violet said, grabbing a wrench from Seymour, who wordlessly held it out before she knelt down, and started to remove a wheel from one of the now spare bikes. "This might take a while, unless someone wishes to help me."
"Hang on." Barry replied as he came up to her while the other members started to wait, and do whatever they could think of, with Scars getting out a cigarette, puts it in his mouth, lights it, and blows some smoke out. Killow doing push-ups. Seymour and Timor do thumb war. And some members just tap their bikes.
Back by the Black River, Harumi keeps trying to start the engine before the propellor started turning and the boat starts moving, shaking a little, and Lloyd and Harumi cheer at the success before chuckling. "I'm beginning to think we are good luck together." He said as he grabs a nearby stick with a hook tied at the end, and comes up to the front of the boat to measure the depth as the boat flows down the river. "Five feet. That's okay. A little left. More rocks." Harumi slowly turned the helm to the left. "Not too fast. It's pretty shallow around here." The boat starts to move slowly. "That's good. Keep her steady."
Harumi frowns a little. "Do you think it's really possible to bring someone back?" She asked.
"I've seen a lot of things in my lifetime. At first, I didn't." He turns to her. "Now I'm not so sure." He turns back to resume measuring depth.
"Does any part of you want to see your father again?"
Lloyd frowned as he looks at his reflection in the river before turning to face Harumi. "I had Ninjago's greatest villain as my dad." He looks away. "It was an... unusual relationship. But as much as we fought... I still miss him." He went back to concentrating on depth measuring. "A little to the right." Harumi turns the helm right, avoiding a rock.
"I would do anything to see my parents again."
"I don't blame you. But if they bring my father back... the thing that scares me the most is..."
"He won't be the man you recognise?" Lloyd turns around to her and nods. "He wasn't the greatest villain."
"Oh no? You probably grew up thinking it's Morro or the Devourer. Don't tell me. Pythor."
"No. It's the one you never even knew was there in the first place, the one that gets away."
"The Quiet One." He returns to measuring the depth, unaware that something swam by underneath them.
On the bridge aboard the Bounty, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Geoff, Gewuji, Blake and P.I.X.A.L. had just explained to Nya that Jack was actually Dragon. "Is it really him?" Nya asked.
"Yeah, I also thought I recognised the scar on his right shoulder when I took the map away from him." Gewuji replied.
"So he likes tea, has the same scar, and he went though a growth spurt. That doesn't mean he's Dragon."
Dragon looks at Jay and Blake. "Master..." He takes a sip of tea before turning to Geoff and Gewuji. "Dragon..." He takes another sip, and looks at Nya, Maggie and P.I.X.A.L. "Wu." Nya was soon dumbfound.
"Definitely him alright." Zane and P.I.X.A.L. look at each other.
"But how did he get so...young?" Blake asked as he knelt down, and held a hand out, which Dragon took.
Jay looks down at him as Dragon scowls his tea, and chuckled. "Who knows?" He asked. "He's a living fortune cookie." Dragon looked at the empty cup before turning it over, but nothing comes out due to being empty, and looks inside it. "Everything he does is a puzzle meant to torture us." Dragon soon turned around, throwing the cup in the air, which Geoff quickly grabbed, and walked over to the table.
"Maybe we'll never know." Cole replied as they move aside for him.
"Don't you remember?" Nya asked. "He was touched by the Reversal Blade when he disappeared in time, right?"
"So?" Kai asked while Dragon tried to grab the teapot.
"So what if the blade did more than stop his ageing?" She walks over to him. "What if it somehow made him younger? Like really young."
Dragon giggles as he looked at them before trying to reach the teapot again, but Nya takes it away. "If your assumption is correct, logic would dictate that he would begin ageing more rapidly once the effects of the blade have worn off." Zane said as Geoff came up to Nya and Dragon.
"So that explains how a baby can learn to walk overnight, but how long until he's, you know, back to good old Dragon?" He asked as he filled the cup while Dragon was fussing over it before Geoff turned around to him. "I mean, no offence." He hands him the cup. "You look good for your age." Dragon giggles as Geoff pats his back.
"Time will tell." Ultra Violet's ululating was soon heard in the distance, warning them.
Further back, the Sons of Garmadon pass underneath a fallen tree while Ultra Violet, with a new front wheel, used it like a ramp as she drove up along it, stopping at the top to see the smoke. Revving her engine, she gets out her sai. "Hyah!" She yelled.
On the deck of the Bounty, everyone looked around. "And our time is running out." Kai said.
"How soon till we get out of here?" Maggie asked.
"Not soon enough." Blake replied before P.I.X.A.L. heads for her mech.
"P.I.X.A.L., what are you doing?" Zane asked as she jumped in.
"Slowing them down." She replied, putting on her helmet, starts the mech, and the front closes up before she takes off, with everyone looking on. Zane and Blake were the more concerned.
"She can handle herself." Nya said, telling them. "We need to get this ship in the air. All hands on deck!" They immediately start to spread out as Geoff picked up Dragon.
