Izuku had learned three major things in his first week of knowing Eri. One, she was related to the head of the Shie Hissaikai who was currently in a coma. Two, she thought her quirk was a curse because it made people disappear. Three, Overhaul was using her blood to create bullets that could erase quirks permanently. To say he was concerned would be an understatement.

While Overhaul had allowed Izuku to get close to Eri he was still watched closely. That meant he hadn't been able to slip any information to Katsuki or Shinsou about Eri or Overhaul's plan. Izuku had tried to find out more about Eri in the meantime but the girl seemed terrified of him. Not that Izuku could blame her considering all she knew is that he was working with Overhaul. He was never present when Overhaul took blood from Eri but he knew it was bad.

Izuku began to feel frustrated at his lack of ability to do anything. He took to using his free time to attempt to improve his quirk, but unfortunately couldn't make any progress. This only served to frustrate him more. One day, about a week after arriving at the compound, he found himself wandering around the halls. He'd managed to memorize the layout of the halls mostly so he was just walking around in an attempt to clear his head.

While he was caught up in his thoughts he unintentionally wandered to Eri's room. It was one of the rare times where there wasn't a guard posted outside her room so Izuku figured she wasn't there. He still felt himself fish the keycard he'd been given out of his pocket though. He just wanted to check. He held the card up to the lock and pushed the door open after he heard it click. To his surprise his eyes landed on Eri sitting curled up on her bed. Her gaze flicked to him as the door opened but she said nothing. Izuku didn't think he'd heard her speak once.

Izuku frowned and looked back outside. It was weird for there to not be someone watching the door while she was here. He walked the rest of the way into the room and softly closed the door behind him. He did his best to give Eri a reassuring smile but it didn't seem to do anything to sooth the clear fear on her face. Izuku took a deep breath and sat down on the floor. He'd learned that there were no cameras in her room. Perhaps to give her at least the illusion of privacy.

"I realized I've never properly introduced myself. You can call me Deku." Izuku smiled softly at her. She didn't say anything but Izuku wasn't expecting her to. "You know… I don't like my quirk very much either." He began, the words unintentionally falling from his mouth. The girl seemed to perk up slightly in interest so he continued. "It reminds me of a really bad thing that happened a long time ago." Izuku smiled sadly. It had been his dream for so long to have a quirk; even after he'd proved he could still be a hero without one. He'd accepted that he could still achieve his dream but that didn't stop some small part of himself from still wanting. Now that he had one it was bittersweet. He hadn't gotten it naturally and of course it just so happened to be connected to fire. Izuku didn't have a problem with fire quirks normally, he was friends with Katsuki and Todoroki after all, but when it came to his own he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. He didn't have the control or training they had; if he wasn't careful he could really hurt someone.

"You're cursed too?" Came a soft voice from the bed. Izuku looked back up from where his gaze had drifted to the floor and looked at Eri. She wasn't curled up and pressed against the headboard anymore. She was nearly at the end of the bed looking at him sadly.

"I wouldn't call having a quirk a curse. I'm just worried that I could accidentally hurt people if I'm not careful." Izuku admitted.

"What's your quirk?" Eri asked. She was at the edge of the bed now.

Izuku fished a lighter out of his pocket. He'd been given several things to create fire since his quirk only allowed him to control it. He flicked it open and pulled the small flame into his hand. Once it settled the flames became tinted in green. "I can control fire." He explained simply. He didn't think a long winded explanation would do any good for Eri.

Eri cautiously slipped off her bed and came to sit in front of Izuku. She peered at the small flame curiously. "I think it's pretty." She said as she watched the flame flicker.

Izuku blinked at her surprised. He expected her to not like quirks at all because of what she'd been through. It was because of this that the simple words meant so much to Izuku. A soft, genuine smile spread across his face. "Thank you Eri. That means a lot." Eri nodded and looked at him seemingly unsure of something. Izuku put out the fire in his hand and opened his arms as an invitation. Eri slowly crept forward and wrapped her arms around him.

"You're not like them." She said quietly into his shirt. Izuku gently pet her hair as he contemplated what to say.

"Yeah. Can you keep a secret Eri?" he asked. She looked up at him and nodded. "I'm not actually a villain. I'm a hero. I have friends who are helping me stop these guys." Izuku explained quietly.

Eri's eyes grew slightly wider. "A hero? Someone who helps people?" She asked, a small amount of hope in her voice.

Izuku nodded. "That's right. I promise I'll get you out of here ok?" Izuku pulled out his phone. Now would be a perfect time to get a message to someone. Eri glanced at the phone curiously. "I'm sending a message to my friends. That way they can help us."

"When will they come?" Eri asked, watching as he quickly typed out a message to Katsuki.

"I'm not sure. But it won't be long knowing them. You can be strong for a little longer right Eri?" Izuku asked, patting her head softly.

Eri nodded. "Mhm. You'll still be here right Mr. Deku?"

Izuku nodded. "Don't worry I'm not going anywhere."

After that Izuku made sure to spend more time with Eri. She had plenty of questions that he was happy to answer. As far as Izuku knew, Overhaul didn't mind the interactions. He hadn't stopped them and there was no way he wasn't aware of them. Sure he wanted to deal with the league and the yakuza but he knew there was nothing he could do at the moment.

He'd gathered a lot of information that he'd managed to slip to either Katsuki or Hitoshi. He found it easiest to get information to them during his time spent with Eri. Afterall her room was the only one that didn't have cameras or other security devices in it. He'd even managed to send them a crude map he'd drawn of the compound. As soon as the picture was sent he made sure to burn the map so no one would find it.

Izuku also spent time with Toga and Twice. He would have preferred to spend all his free time with Eri but in order to make sure he was still trusted by the two he made the effort to hang out with them as well. He mostly stayed quiet but the other two didn't seem to mind. They mostly complained about their situation or talked about other things they found interesting; most of these topics involved things that Izuku wasn't particularly comfortable with. They only rarely tried to pull Izuku into the conversation and for that he was thankful.

One day while Izuku was with Eri in her room, she was sitting next to him on the floor drawing, something unusual happened. His phone pinged. Now normally this wouldn't be too odd. He'd been given the phone by the villains so they could get a hold of him if needed, Izuku had also made sure to scour the phone for any signs of tracking or spying programs thankfully there had been nore, but Shigiraki had made it clear that unless it was important he wanted radio silence among the three of them there and the rest of the league. There was no way Shigiraki would have contacted Izuku first out of all people if something had gone wrong.

Eri watched him curiously as he fished his phone out of his pocket and checked it. It was from a number he knew but wasn't registered in his phone. He quickly read the message and made sure to commit it to memory before deleting it. "What was that Mr. Deku?" Eri asked, tilting her head slightly to show her confusion.

Izuku smiled and pat her head. "That was my friend Kacchan. He said that him and the heroes are coming soon. It won't be much longer now."

Eri's eyes widened. "When are they coming?"

"Tomorrow, really early in the morning. Think you can be ready that early?" Izuku asked as he slipped the phone back into his pocket. Eri nodded eagerly. "Is there anything from here you'll need?" Izuku asked, glancing around the pretty bare room.

Eri's eyebrows furrowed as she seemed to think. Izuku couldn't help but find the little action adorable. He looked forward to when he could finally get her to smile. "No, I don't need anything." Eri said as she shook her head.

Izuku nodded. "Alright. Then when they show up I'll come get you ok?"

Eri nodded back at him. "Ok." Now all there was left to do was wait.

Katsuki stood in front of the Nighteye hero agency impatiently waiting for the others to show up. Today was the day that the other hero agencies that had been contacted would be filled in on what was going on. Nighteye and Eraserhead had contacted several of them to be part of the eventual raid on the yakuza. That unfortunately meant that Katsuki would have to deal with some of his idiot classmates that were doing their work studies with those agencies. "Bakubro!" Katsuki sighed at the familiar call of Kirishima.

Katsuki reluctantly turned to look at the redhead as he approached along with Fatgum and his other intern Suneater. Kirishima jogged over to him and gave him a friendly clap on the shoulder. "I didn't know you would be here too."

Katsuki crossed his arms. "I'm working with Aizawa. Why wouldn't I be here?"

Kirishima blinked at him. "Oh yeah. Fatgum said that it was Nighteye and Aizawa who called this meeting. Forgot you were working with sensei."

Kirishima kept him engaged in conversation as more heroes arrived. Finally, he spotted Aizawa along with Shinsou and Todoroki. "Get inside Shitty Hair. I'll talk to you later." Kirishima smiled and headed inside while Katsuki met up with Aizawa. "So how are we doing this shit?" Katsuki asked.

Aizawa frowned but said nothing about his language. Katsuki silently counted it as a win. "Me and Nighteye decided we'd let the three of you lead most of the meeting. We both have confidence that you'll be able to do it just fine. We'll fill in only when needed. Try and keep it professional." Aizawa explained as he pinned Katsuki with a glare.

Katsuki smirked. He knew they'd considered letting them lead the meeting because of all the information they had, but he hadn't known they'd made the decision to actually do it. Katsuki couldn't help but feel good at the amount of trust Aizawa was showing them. "Makes sense I guess. He knows what we're capable of." Katsuki thought as the four of them walked in.

The meeting started off pretty standard. Nighteye gave the heroes who were present background information of the Shie Hissaikai. As soon as he was finished though Nighteye nodded to Katsuki. "Alright listen up." Katsuki started as he walked up to the front, followed by Shinsou and Todoroki. "These bastards are in the process of creating bullets that can erase a quirk permanently. They're using a little girl to do it."

There was muttering all around the room and several shocked gasps. "They've also recently begun working with the League of Villains in order to gain the funds they need to move forward with their plan. Though this alliance is shaky at best." Shinsou added as he scanned the crowd.

"We also have the location of their base and a detailed map of the underground compound." Todoroki said as he pushed the clicker in his hand to display a much neater version of the map Izuku had sent them on the screen behind them. "We have fairly detailed information about how many people are present in the compound at any given time as well as a basic description of many of their quirks. There is far more in depth analysis of the higher ups' quirks."

"Any questions before we lay down the plan for you all?" Katsuki asked, crossing his arms and scanning the room.

"Yeah I got one. Why the hell are a bunch of kids leading this meeting?" One hero spoke up. Katsuki was pretty sure it was Rock Lock since the hero was glaring at them.

Before Katsuki could even open his mouth to retort, Nighteye stepped in. "These three were allowed to lead this meeting because of the skill they've shown while working with me. They also have the best grasp on the information that is relevant to this case." He calmly explained.

Rock Lock held Nighteye's stare. "This raises another question. How the hell did you get this information? You're talking in certainties and you have a lot of specifics on their plans."

There were more murmers among the crowd of heroes. Katsuki saw Kirishima flash him a supportive thumbs up along with Uraraka. Katsuki huffed and turned his attention back to the room at large. "We know this shit because we have some stupid fucker risking himslef to get us this information. He managed to infiltrate the league and then the Hissaikai and he's been feeding us information whenever he can."

"And how do you know your source can be trusted?" Rock Lock argued.

Katsuki's eye twitched. This guy was really starting to get on his nerves. It seemed like Shinsou could read his thoughts cause he put a hand on Katsuki's shoulder and shook his head. Shinsou let go and turned to address the crowd. "Does the name Midoriya Izuku ring any bells for any of you?" Shinsou asked, watching the room so he could gauge their reactions.

"He was the UA student that was kidnapped by the league a few months ago yeah?" Fatgum asked.

Shinsou nodded. "That's the one. He's our contact. According to him he was targeted because he was quirkless. They thought that they could sway him to join them because of how he was likely treated growing up quirkless. They expected him to be bitter at the world for the hand he was dealt." Shinsou paused to let his words sink in a little. Todoroki picked up where he left off.

"He decided to take the opportunity he was given to do something good. To try and take down the league from the inside or at least provide enough information to the heroes so that they could be taken down by them." Todoroki stopped and looked to Katsuki.

Guess this is how they were doing it then. "Then when the league hooked up with the yakuza he did his best to gain their trust too so he could get us information about them. I know the dumbass personally so I know there's no way in hell he's a villain. He wants to be a hero and help people more than fucking anything. He might be a self sacrificing idiot but there's no way he'd go villain."

As it seemed Rock Lock was going to object again some of the other heroes shut him down. He begrudgingly sat back in his seat and stayed quiet. "Now then. Let's get back to the plan shall we? As long as no one else has questions." Shinsou asked. No one made a move to say anything.

"Alright better listen cause I'm only gonna say this shit once." Katsuki said, smirking.

The meeting had been long but they'd finally managed to brief everyone on the plan. Every hero had also left with a packet that detailed all the information Izuku had managed to gather for them. The raid was set to take place early tomorrow so everyone had been instructed to look over the packet and get some rest. Katsuki pulled out his phone while he and the others waited for Aizawa. He found himself wondering if he should warn Izuku about the upcoming raid. He'd managed to memorize the nerd's number a while ago so that wasn't an issue. Katsuku decided to type up a message that was an abridged version of the raid plan. As he sent off the message he hoped that Izuku was somewhere safe when he got it.

He'd just managed to put his phone back in his pocket as Aizawa approached them. His eyes swept over the group slowly. "Tomorrow is going to be dangerous." Aizawa stated. He continued after Katsuki gave him a 'no shit' look. "I want you three to promise me you'll be careful. I'll do my best to keep an eye on you but knowing you three you'll likely split off at some point."

"We'll be fine Aizawa. If Deku can last this long then we'll be fucking fine. Those villains don't stand a chance." Katsuki waved off Aizawa's concern.

Aizawa frowned at them. Then he did something completely unexpected. He, somewhat awkwardly, pulled the three of them into a hug. Katsuki was surprised and could see matching looks of surprise on Shinsou and Todoroki's faces. Katsuki quietly snorted at the uncomfortable look on Todoroki's face. "Just, be careful problem children." Aizawa said softly.

Although the hug had been unexpected Katsuki felt like he could get used to this. "We will."
