-Royal Woods, Nighttime-
Ace was sitting on top a group of petty bank robbers waiting for the police to arrive. Ace sighed as he waited, the funural was in a few days and he was busting ass, both figurately and literally trying to get as much done so that he could attend, he soon heard a familiar ringing. Ace sighed as he left his calling card and left to take care of the newest crime. As he did Card Countess was watching him from above and smiled,
"He's just making this too easy." She said as she dropped down to the thugs.
-Later-
Lincoln was in bed laying face down as Lisa had cold compresses on him.
"Pushing yourself too hard huh even after you said that you would give Ace Savvy a rest?" She asked
"Have to, need to go to funeral." He muffled
"Well do you have to take care of every crime, we've hardly seen Lincoln." She asked.
"I know I just need to make sure, that nothing goes wrong while at the service." He said.
"Just don't exert yourself." She said.
"I won't as long as you girls help out." He said
"Well were spreading ourselves thin as it is with the planning and fighting and trying to get in contact with mom." Lisa said
"She still hasn't called yet?" Lincoln asked
"No, she's been too focused on her work and I don't blame her I would too if I was in her situation." Lisa said
"Very nice to hear sis." He said
"Look just rest up, the girls will be back soon." She said as she left, Lincoln just sighed as he closed his eyes.
-Elsewhere-
Ronnie Anne was watching the streets looking for crime, but since Ace took care of most of it, been pretty slow, the girl sighed as she was about to leave until she saw someone, wearing a white lab coat and but what caught her eye was that BlackJack and Card Countess was behind, she then carefully followed them. Keeping her distance she then noticed that they were talking.
"Damn I can't hear them." She said. She then ran ahead and jumped into a nearby allyway. As they got a little closer so that she could hear them better."
"But Dr, do we need really need to keep her? She's already filled her purpose." She asked
"I know that, but I can't let this woman go, what if my creations end up being failures, I need to be able to make more until Rita is baron, besides she was a god send." He said
"Rita? Lincoln's mom what does he mean by that." She thought.
"Look right now my plan for this city they will need followers, that's why I chose this city.
"But is it worth what you have to give up." She asked Dr. S then looked at Card Countess and grabbed her by her cheeks, making them pucker her lips.
"I did all this to achieve my goal and I couldn't let her brat stop me." He said as he lets go.
"No just do your job and keep finding thugs." He said
"Y-yes sir." She stuttered as they were about to leave BlackJack stops.
"Something wrong?" Card Countess asked, Lady soon covered her mouth and had her gun out trying to stay quiet. "BlackJack, now is not the time come on were going back." She said, BlackJack listened and followed his countess. Lady sighed as she holsters her gun and exits the ally.
"I have to tell the others about this." She said, but as she left, Dr. S smiled.
"Has our little fan left?" He asked
"Yes, I don't know why you didn't send BlackJack after her." Card Countess asked
"Believe me, she was expecting that, let the child think that she was sneaky because after I round-up every thug in this city, nothing will stop us or my "children"." He said.
-The Next Day-
Lincoln was training with Ronnie Anne, but he seems a bit more sloppy today.
"Come on Linc, I know the funrals in a few days but you have been running yourself ragged I can tell." Ronnie Anne said
"I know, I haven't been sleeping as much, but I just…" Ronnie Anne then walked up to him.
"Linc you don't have anything to worry about anything, Clyde and I can take care of things while you're away and if it gets too bad, then we'll bail." She said. Ronnie Anne then patted his shoulder. "Come on if you're going mope around then I'll just have to fix that." She said as she grabbed his arm pulled him close and swept his legs, she then pinned him under her.
"See this is what happened when you get distracted." She said
"Okay, you've proved your point now get off me." He said Ronnie laughed as she got up and help him up.
"Also I found out something and I think your mom is involved somehow." She said, Lincoln then looked at her with a confused look.
"What do you mean?" He asked
"I think that they have her held captive."
