AN: So I didn't even notice, but we're four episodes away from season 3!

LITERALLY I AM SO EXCITED! THIS IS THE FURTHEST I'VE EVER GOTTEN TO WITH A FANFICTION!

Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin in any way, shape, or form! I do own Elizabeth Malinor and any other characters I make up!

Enjoy!

Holding the torch tightly in my hand, I stomped towards Kilgarrah's cave. "GET DOWN HERE YOU LYING DRAGON!" I boomed when I got to the entrance.

He flew down in a matter of seconds. "Ah, the Young Dimension Traveler. I must admit, it's been a while since you've last seen me."

"That's because you never tell me anything and you make me angry," I started. "Like you have right now!"

"What exactly have I done?" He asked.

"You didn't tell me that Morgana and Morgause were my half sisters!" I bellowed. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I felt that it was information best found out on your own," He answered.

"What a load of bullshit!" I retorted. "You could have told me!" I took a deep breath to try and calm myself. "So...so the reason I can see the future in my dreams, the reason that I have magic, is because I share a mother with Morgana and Morgause?"

Kilgarrah nodded. "It is from your mother that you receive your gifts, yes."

"Who is my father, then, if not Antonius?" I asked.

Kilgarrah hesitated. "That is information best left-"

"Found on my own," I finished with him. "I got it, I got it. What am I supposed to do with this knowledge?"

"Whatever you see fit," Kligarrah answered.

"So, I can tell Morgana? That we're sisters?" I asked.

"Absolutely not."

"But you just said-"

"It is not your destiny to tell the Lady Morgana of your true relations," Kilgarrah spoke.

I huffed. "Can I at least tell Merlin?"

Kilgarrah was silent for a second. "Do you trust the young warlock?"

"With my life," I said automatically.

"Then you may tell him if you wish," Kilgarrah answered.

"But I trust Morgana," I said. "Why can't I tell her?"

"It is not your destiny-"

"Fine, I got it!" I dismissed, before turning around and stomping off. "No good, dirty Dragon."

Merlin and Arthur returned the next day, and I all but ran from my room to greet the warlock. I didn't realize how much I missed him.

Ahem, I mean, how much I missed tagging along on his and Arthur's adventures.

Of course that's what I meant.

"Merlin!" I said happily as I ran down the steps. I passed by Arthur, who strode past me with a purpose, his sword tightly gripped in his hand.

I gave him a good of confusion, but went over to Merlin anyways. "What happened to Arthur?"

Merlin grabbed my arm, and pulled me closer to the horse so our conversation would be blocked. "Arthur was born of magic," He whispered as loudly as he dared.

My stomach dropped. "What?" I asked.

"Arthur's mother Ygraine couldn't have any children so Uther went to Nimueh for a child, but to have a life a life must be taken-"

"And Nimueh took Ygraine's," I finished. Oh my God. So after so many years of executing people with magic, most of them innocent, he was doing to mask the guilt of basically killing his wife.

"I'm scared of what Arthur might do," Merlin revealed to me.

I made a face. "To Uther? Uther's his father, he loves him."

"More than his mother?" Merlin challenged.

My face dropped. "We should go follow him," I suggested.

"Maybe I should go after him and you should stay here," He suggested instead.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because Arthur is very angry right now and I don't want you to get hurt," He answered, grabbing my forearms. "Go wait in your chambers and I'll tell you everything."

"You better, because there's something you need to know," I told him.

Merlin stopped Arthur before he could do anything to seriously harm Uther. Merlin managed to convince Arthur that magic had corrupted him, and that it was wrong.

I took his hands in my own, and squeezed them. "I know how hard it must have been for you to do that. You could have really gotten somewhere with Arthur and magic if you had let Uther die."

"I know, I know," Merlin said. "It just wasn't the right thing to do."

I smiled. "I'm glad you didn't let him die. Even though Uther can be a pretty terrible king, Arthur's not ready to take the throne. You saved Camelot."

"I did, didn't I?" Merlin agreed. "Oh, and get this: Uther thanked me for being a trusted ally in the fight against magic."

I burst into laughter, as did Merlin. I had to cover my mouth to conceal my snorts. "You? An ally, in the fight against magic?"

"Apparently, so," Merlin laughed. He sobered up, and took a deep breath. "So. What was it that you wanted to tell me?"

I sobered up too, and became a little nervous. "I found out something while you were gone. Something, that I fear might change things."

"What is it?" He asked.

"Do you remember when I told you that I felt like I knew Morgause?" I asked, and he nodded. "Well, I overheard-"

"Don't you mean eavesdropped?"

"Yes, yes, fine Merlin, eavesdropped on Uther and Gaius's conversation last night," I said. "They were talking about her."

"Morgause?" He clarified.

I nodded. "I thought listening it might answer the suspicions that I had about her," I went on. "And, boy, did it."

"What did Uther say?"

"It turns out that my parents really are not my parents," I said. "They are my adoptive parents."

Merlin's face changed into a shocked expression. "You mean you are not their legitimate child?"

I shook my head. "No. But I found out who my mother is."

"Who?"

I took a deep breath. "Vivienne. Also known as the wife of Gorlois," I revealed.

Merlin's face dropped. "Morgana's mother?"

I nodded. "Yeah. And that's not all. Vivienne, was also Morgause's mother."

Merlin looked absolutely dumbstruck. "So you're saying that you, and Morgana, and Morgause, are sisters?"

I gave him a look. "No, it makes us jesters."

Merlin matched my look. "You don't have to be hurtful."

I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, it makes sense. Why Morgana and I are both Seers. My connection to Morgause. Why Morgana and I are so close."

"So, what are you going to do? Are you going to tell Morgana?" He asked.

"Well, Kilgharrah said I shouldn't, that it's not my destiny to tell her. I just have this sinking feeling that something's going to happen," I told him, and I looked down at my healing bracelet which glistened in the afternoon sunlight coming from my window.

"Good or bad?" Merlin inquired.

I shook my head. "I don't know. All I know is that this isn't the last we've seen of Morgause."

TBC...

Super short, but I wanted this up before I have to start studying for exams. I'm trying to get more chapters out faster.

Not doing a preview for the next chapter because I'm debating the angle I want to go with it.
