I never thought I could be so happy. Merlin and I were still the same but so much better. There were a few stolen kisses, lots of hugs, and even a little snuggling. I didn't know love could feel like this.

But of course, the story had to continue.

We were in the castle chambers, where Arthur and Merlin were reporting back to Uther after they went for a hunt but they got attacked. There was something wrong with Merlin, I could see it in his eyes, but I didn't dare ask until we were alone.

"The bandits probably have a stronghold somewhere in the White Mountains," Arthur reported. "How we escaped, I'll never know. Although, some credit must go to my servant, Merlin."

I gave Merlin a discreet smile when Morgana wasn't looking at me.

"Dispatch a patrol. I want these men caught and brought to justice," Uther ordered.

"Immediately, Father," Arthur nodded, and the court was dismissed as we walked out of the throne room.

"For a moment, we feared you might miss Lady Morgana's birthday," Uther joked.

"It'd take more than a bunch of thieves to keep me from such a feast," Arthur answered.

"Tomorrow promises to be quite a night," Uther decreed.

I grabbed the warlock's arm and dragged him into my room where we could be alone. "What's happened? And don't deny that something happened, because I can see it in your eyes."

Merlin sighed as we walked further into my room to the dining table where we could sit down and talk. "When Arthur and I were in the Valley of the Fallen Kings, I came across a man named Taliesin, though Gaius says he died about three hundred years ago. He took me to a place called the Crystal Cave. Do you remember the Crystal of Neahtid?"

"How could I forget?" I mumbled.

"Well, the crystals in the cave were exactly like that one. It showed me the future," Merlin continued. "Morgana is going to kill Uther."

My stomach dropped. "Are you sure, Merlin? Perhaps you saw the images wrong."

Merlin shook his head. "I'm positive. I can't get these visions out of my head. Taliesin told me there was a reason I was brought there at this moment in time. Why? It must mean the events I saw are imminent."

"What did Gaius say?" I asked.

"Gaius says that I have to be careful, that the Crystals are treacherous," Merlin explained. "What I saw might not happen."

"But what if it does?"

"Exactly."

It pained me to be nice to someone that I hated, but it was surprisingly easy in terms of acting. Maybe I should change my major from working with kids to acting if I get back to my old world.

I made Morgana's favourite breakfast-well, the cooks helped me, but I did most of it. Her favourite breakfast foods were eggs, toast, fruit, and this special herbal tea that took me forever to find the herbs. I set the tray on her dining table in her room before I crept over to her bed, where she was sound asleep. This was always how I woke up Morgana on her birthday and how she woke me up on mine, and, well, I couldn't exactly stop the tradition if I wanted things to continue to be normal.

I took in a deep breath and then jumped on top of Morgana's sleeping form, screaming, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" at the top of my lungs.

She screamed for a split second as she woke up but when she recognized the lumpy form on her to be me, she burst into laughter. "You've been waking me up like this for over twenty years and I'll still never get used to it," She said as she shoved playfully aside but so that I was still on the bed.

"Some traditions never change," I mentioned as I lifted up her blankets and settled in next to her. "What's the plan for today?"

"Well, we have the feast from Uther tonight," Morgana said distastefully. "But other than that, we're free to be with each other all day. I feel like going for a ride on my horse. Shall we do that after breakfast?"

Great.

I shifted a little uncomfortably in my seat that night in the hall of ceremonies during Morgana's birthday celebration. I seriously hated saddles. The one thing I hated more? Riding side saddle. Who even invented riding side saddle? Satan?

I was broken out of my thoughts when all the nobles in the room began raising their goblets, and I scrambled to pick up mine. "To the Lady Morgana!" We all chanted.

I took a long sip of my water. No wine tonight, I needed to be coherent. Merlin said earlier that he saw part of his vision come true, and he wanted us to keep an eye out for more of the visions to come true in order to properly determine that the future he saw was coming true.

Uther got Morgana a necklace, and she fake-beamed as she let him put it on her. I had to admit, after me, she was the best actress around.

I got her a bracelet (I can't believe I had to spend my money on her) which she absolutely adored, and she gave me a real smile and a huge hug. I felt a small stab of guilt for lying and betraying her but in a sense, she was doing more betraying than I was. At least I was trying to help Camelot.

Arthur nodded a knight over, who presented a box to Morgana. "Happy birthday," He said to her.

She gave him a sweet smile. "Arthur," She said as she opened the box and pulled out a dagger. She removed the sheath at the same time as I made eye contact with Merlin across the room, and I knew by the look on his face that this must be the next vision.

I snapped out of my thoughts as I went back to normal behaviour. "You never get me anything that nice," I teased Arthur, who put his hands up in surrender.

"Next year, I promise, I'll buy you something even better," Arthur promised.

I gave a satisfied smile. "Good."

Morgana sat back down and turned to me. "This is very nice. Who knows? Could come in handy."

My fingers itched to snatch the dagger from her hands, but I had to keep my cool and my cover, so instead I said, "What else is it used for?"

I sat on Morgana's bed, while Morgana sat at her dressing table as Gwen brought her gifts to where she was sitting.

"You got some lovely presents," Gwen said to her. She held up a brush. "Mainly hairbrushes."

Gwen picked up a mirror and frowned when she read the note on it. "Who's King Gromause?"

Gromause. That was Morgause's code name. Morgana and I made brief eye contact through the big mirror above Morgana's dressing table. Morgana turned back to Gwen and she shrugged slightly. "At least he doesn't think my hair needs brushing," She joked.

"It's so pretty," Gwen murmured.

Needing to get Gwen out of here, Morgana picked up a gold embroidered cloth and held it out to Gwen. "Here, I want you to have this."

"Me?! No," Gwen immediately rejected.

Morgana ignored her as she put it in Gwen's hand and took the mirror in her own. "It's a thank you," Morgana insisted.

Gwen was a little reluctant but took the cloth from Morgana. "Thank you," She said, and Morgana was able to dismiss her.

I jumped up from the bed and ran over to Morgana as she breathed on the mirror to fog it up. A note appeared that read, "Sisters, come to the darkling woods at midnight. Morgause."

I've found that dressing in all black helped to blend you into the background, especially if you were trying to be inconspicuous. I returned to my room afterwards where I pretended to sleep for the next couple of hours, but about half an hour before midnight, I got up and changed into a a black dress, black coat and black boots.

I had just exited my bedchambers when I heard Morgana's shriek from down the hall. "Morgana?" I called after her, and I picked up my skirt as I began running down the hall. When I got there, I saw Merlin looking through a doorway. I pushed passed Merlin and saw Morgana passed out at the bottom of the stairs. "Morgana!" I called down, surprising myself with the worry in my voice. Merlin and I looked to each other before running to get help.

We got Arthur and Gwen. Arthur carried Morgana to Gaius's chambers as we all ran inside.

"I need water and bandages," Gauis instructed, slipping into doctor mode.

"I'll get that," Gwen offered as she ran to get the supplies.

"And yarrow; we need to stop the bleeding," Gaius added. I'd helped Gaius a few times with patients and even treated some people myself (like when we were under siege earlier in the year) so I knew what yarrow looked like. "I got it!" I volunteered as I ran to get the yarrow.

"She's having problems breathing," Gaius said as he cleared a table for Arthur to put Morgana down on.

"Dianthus?" Merlin asked.

"Yes, and a preparation of pulmonaria," Gaius added.

Merlin gave him a puzzled look, and Gaius had to further explain. "Lungwort, Merlin. Quarter of an ounce, ground fine, and mixed with violet."

"How could this have happened?" Arthur asked as we all gathered supplies. I hadn't had enough time to get the explanation out of Merlin either, but I'd ask him later.

"Arthur, I need room here," Gaius said instead of answering.

"Yes. Of course. Erm...anything you need, just tell me," Arthur said as he turned around and left to give Gaius space.

Gaius treated Morgana and began sewing her head by candlelight.

"Will she be alright?" Gwen asked.

"We've done the best we can," Gaius answered. "I can heal her skin, Gwen, but the skull...the cranium is broken. She's bleeding inside."

I got up from the table and walked up to Merlin's room. I didn't knock as I walked in. He was sitting down on his head, guilt splattered all over his face.

I sat down next to him slowly. Neither of us talked for a few minutes before Merlin finally spoke up, "I had to stop the future. I had to stop Morgana killing Uther. I didn't mean to do it like this."

I put a hand on Merlin's shoulder and rubbed it. "This isn't your fault."

"I've prevented something much worse from happening," Merlin tried convincing himself. "I just...wish it could have been some other way."

I leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek before I stood up. "I'm going to the darkling forest."

"Why?" Merlin asked.

"I was supposed to meet Morgause there almost an hour ago," I explained. "If I don't meet her now, she'll come here and that's the last thing that we need."

I kept my hood up as I walked through the darkling forest. I couldn't really see, so I whispered a spell that created a small fire in the palm of my hand so that I wouldn't be in complete dark. I couldn't help but grin in triumph. My magic was getting stronger.

I saw the outline of a figure as I got closer to the middle of the forest and quickly extinguished the fire as I closed my hand into a fist. I reached into my side pouch and pulled out an eyedropper filled with water inside of medicine. I tilted my head backwards as I dropped some water in my eyes to make it look like I was crying. Finally, I made a crying face as I picked up my skirts as I fake sobbed and ran over to where Morgause was. "Sister!" I fake cried.

Morgause turned around and automatically frowned when she saw me "crying". "Eliza, what is the matter?"

I didn't answer as I grabbed her into a hug. "Sister, it's Morgana!" I cried against her shoulder.

"What about Morgana?" Morgause asked as she pulled me away from her shoulder to cradle my face in concern. "Where is she? Why is she not with you?"

"She got into an accident," I sniffled. "She fell down the stairs and cracked her head. The court physician said that she cracked her skull and there isn't much left for him to do. I fear that she may die."

Morgause's eyes grew with fear at my words, and she immediately side stepped me to go in the direction of the castle. "I must go get her."

"No!" I said automatically. Whoops, didn't think of this. "Uther has not left her side since he has heard of her accident. If he catches you, he will kill you, and I can't bear the thought of losing another sister."

Morgause sighed but stopped in her tracks as she walked over to me and pulled me into another hug. I held my breath as she hugged me and then she pulled away, pushing my hair out of my sister. "Then I shall give you the spell."

My heart dropped all the way to my stomach. "What?" I asked.

"If I cannot be there to save Morgana, you must," Morgause explained. "I will give you the spell that will save her."

"But...but Sister, my magic isn't strong enough," I protested. Not what I needed! "Morgana's always been the stronger one."

"You are strong, Elizabeth," Morgause argued. "You are a Healer, it is in your blood to save people, especially your kin. However, since you feel that you need it, I will lend you my powers for the time being so you can perform the spell. However, it will only be for a short while, so you must act quickly."

Crap! Crap, crap, crap, crap! What should a double agent do?

A double agent would do everything in her power to not raise suspicion.

I sucked in a deep breath as I nodded. "Tell me the spell."

I burst into Gaius's chambers the next morning. I ran right for Merlin's room, not even bothering to knock. By the time that I had gotten back home, it was too late to do anything, but I had this spell and I could feel the power of Morgause's magic running through my veins. It was overwhelming. I felt like I was going to shoot magic off of my body.

"Merlin!" I whispered harshly as I ran in.

He immediately jumped off of the bed when he sensed something was wrong. "What is it?"

"Morgause gave me a spell that can save Morgana," I said to him. "But I don't know if I can use it."

"A spell to save someone in such a horrible condition such as Morgana's would require powerful magic," Merlin thought aloud. "You don't have magic that strong."

I gave him a look. "Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence," I said sarcastically, but I continued before Merlin could comment on it. "Morgause lent me some of her magic to perform the spell. But if Morgana dies like this, then no harm will come to anybody. If I save her, who knows what'll happen?"

Merlin heaved a sigh. He opened his mouth to say something, but he was interrupted by the sounds of voices coming from outside of his chambers. The two of us tiptoed over to the door so we could eavesdrop.

"So beautiful," Uther breathed.

"Yes, Sire," Gaius agreed.

"I cannot watch her die, Gaius," Uther declared.

"I wish there was something I could do," Gaius offered.

"No, you don't understand. I cannot lose her. No matter what happens, she cannot die," Uther pressed.

"I will do everything I can, Sire," Gaius insisted.

"No, Gaius. Whatever it takes. Whatever, I don't care. You must save her," Uther said.

Merlin and I exchanged looks. Why was Uther so instant on saving Morgana? We asked each other silently.

"If I knew a way..." Gaius tried again.

"You're not understanding me, Gaius. Cure her. I don't care what remedy you use. In all these books there must be something. Something in the Old Religion?" Uther suggested the last part quietly.

My heart practically stopped as I looked over at Merlin, our eyes widened to the size of saucers. Uther, hater of magical things everywhere, wanted to use sorcery?

"Are you suggesting?" Gaius whispered.

"Sorcery, yes," Uther finished.

"I know she's dear to you, Sire, but surely you're not going to risk everything for Morgana?" Gaius asked.

"Gaius, you don't understand. There's something you should know. Something I've told no one," Uther started, and my heart pounded at his next words. "Morgana is my daughter."

Merlin and I looked at each other again, and we both looked like we wanted to drop to the ground. How come whenever I eavesdropped on Uther and Gaius's conversations I learned something I didn't want to know?

"It was while Gorlois was away," Uther continued. "He was fighting on the Northern Plains. Her mother, Vivienne, grew lonely."

Good God, man, that didn't give you the excuse to betray Gorlois. Honestly, if Uther had kept it in his pants, we wouldn't have had the issue of Morgana, would we?

"I understand, Sire," Gaius said quietly.

"I've said enough," Uther dismissed. "The people must never know who Morgana really is, for Arthur's sake."

"I assure you, Sire, your secret is safe with me," Gaius promised, and after a few seconds, the door to Merlin's chambers began opening. Merlin and I stepped back so that Gaius could come in.

"It explains everything. No wonder he spend a year looking for her," Merlin deduced.

He failed to mention that I was with Morgana too, but I let it slide in lieu of new events.

"Now we know why she can do no wrong," Gaius said.

I tapped my fingers against my knees. I was sitting next to Morgana by myself, everyone having to return to their daily business. Gaius eventually had to dismiss Uther so that he could get some rest, so it was just me.

More than once my fingers had unconsciously made their way towards Morgana's hands, and more than once, I had to stop myself. I could feel Morgause's powers slowly disappearing, meaning that I only had a limited time left to perform the spell.

But...what if I didn't want to? Morgana was only going to cause more pain for everyone if I saved her. Saving the entirety of Camelot over saving Morgana seemed to be the most logical choice. What if this was the way that she was supposed to die?

Then how come every cell in my body was screaming for me to save her? Just a year ago, Morgana had been my best friend in the entire world. She knew me better than anyone. She knew how to make me happy, what I loved, my favourite things. And I knew the exact same stuff about her.

But this Morgana, I knew nothing about her. She was cold. She was mean. She was selfish. She cared only for herself and for her revenge. The Morgana that I knew and loved had died last year. Maybe this accident would just end the process once and for all.

But she was still my sister. And I did love her, once upon a time. Maybe it was just my navietey that I could make her good again if saved her now, but it was what I wanted to do.

When I snapped out of my thoughts, I found myself holding Morgana's hand tightly in my own. I sighed as I felt Morgause's magic rushing throughout my body to my fingertips, and I couldn't control myself as I opened my mouth to start the enchantment.

Thankfully, the sound of the door opening was enough to break me out of whatever spell I was in, and I dropped Morgana's hand like it was on fire, sighing in relief. I looked over my shoulder to see Uther walking in. "Shouldn't you be resting, my Lord?" I asked.

"I could not stop thinking about Morgana," Uther answered as he came and sat down next to me. Uther and I sat wordlessly for a while, before he surprised me by reaching over and wrapping his arm around me, hugging me to his chest. "I know how much it must be paining you to see Morgana this way. You two are as close as sisters."

We were sisters, I wanted to say, but I kept my mouth shut and instead leaned my head on Uther's shoulder. "It does pain me, Sire. I see how it pains you, too. You never leave her side."

"I just can't help but remember when you were in this position a few years ago," Uther said, and my mind rushed back to my accident, which, frustratingly, was the only thing I could seem to remember. "Morgana would not eat. She would not sleep. All she wanted was to be by your side. As did I." Uther pressed a kiss to the side of my head. "I am just glad that I still have you to go through this with."

The guilt sat heavily in my stomach. I tightened my hands into fists as I watched over Morgana. "I am too, my Lord."

Even if I wanted to save Morgana, I couldn't now. I just felt the rest of Morgause's magic slipping out of my body.

"My Goodness, Merlin, the guilt is eating me alive!" I practically growled as I stomped through the forest with Merlin. The guilt was apparently killing him, too, because he told me he was going to go to Kilgharrah and ask him for help. "I thought I could let Morgana die but apparently I can't, and I lost the opportunity to help her."

Merlin furrowed his eyebrows. "You still talk very strangely, it's good to know that hasn't changed. But if you're saying what I think you're saying, then I cannot handle this guilt any longer either."

We finally arrived at the forest clearing, and Merlin said the weird dragon language to summon Kilgharrah. We waited a few minutes before we heard the sound of flapping wings and the wind blew against our faces as Kilgharrah settled down.

"You summoned me, young warlock? And to what do I owe the pleasure this time?" Kilgharrah asked.

"I've been to the Crystal Cave. I saw Morgana make an attempt on Uther's life," Merlin began.

Kilgharrah shrugged his huge shoulders. "It does not surprise me."

"Well, I stopped her," Merlin told him.

"To change the future is no simple matter, Merlin. To do so is fraught with danger," Kilgharrah said wisely.

"I know, and as a result of my actions, Morgana is dying," Merlin replied.

"Then you should rejoice!" Kilgharrah said with a laugh.

"I want you to help me to save her," Merlin requested.

"Merlin, have you learnt nothing?" Kilgharrah questioned, and it was true. Merlin and I pretty much have learned nothing to keep letting the same things happen over and over again. But Kilgharrah once said that my beliefs and faith in the people that I cared about was a dangerous thing. I guess I just didn't realize that I still cared about Morgana in some ways.

"I did not mean to kill her," Merlin insisted. "All I wanted was to avoid the future that would've unfolded, to prevent Uther's death, to prevent Camelot being torn apart."

"I will not cure her!" Kilgharrah refused.

"Morgana is Uther's daughter," I couldn't help but blurt.

Kilgharrah didn't do so much as flinch. "Yes."

"You knew," Merlin deduced by his reaction. "Why didn't you tell us?"

"It makes no difference," Kilgharrah said.

"Well, whatever she was about to do, I stopped her. There's no need for people to suffer," Merlin replied, obviously thinking about the pain and suffering going on back at the castle.

"The witch must die, as she should have done long ago. I will not save her," Kilgharrah said.

"I am a Dragonlord! You cannot refuse me!" Merlin declared loudly.

"How dare you treat me such! How dare you abuse your power!" Kilgharrah argued, and I winced at the level of his yell.

"I command you," Merlin said firmly.

"Very well," Kilgharrah finally agreed. "But I warn you, the evil that will follow is of your doing, and yours alone."

Kilgharrah breathed some sort of weird magic on to Merlin and promptly left. Merlin was a little out of it after absorbing so much magic, so I grabbed his hand and guided his way back to the castle.

Merlin and I ran back into Gaius's chambers, where Gwen was sitting next to Morgana.

"I'll sit with her. Why don't you go and get some sleep? You must be exhausted," Merlin suggested to Gwen.

"If she wakes up..." Gwen started as she stood up.

"We'll get you," I promised her.

"Thank you," Gwen said as she turned around and left.

As soon as the door was open, Merlin fell into the chair next to Morgana. I sat in the chair on the other side of her, and Merlin held out his hand to over Morgana's forehead. He looked like he was struggling with the power of the spell, but he fought against it as he incantated, "Ic þe þurhhæle þin licsare mid þam sundorcræftas þære ealdaþ æ!"

Merlin's eyes flashed gold, as they always did when he used magic, and immediately Morgana took in a deep breath as her breathing returned to normal, the colour in her face improving.

I sighed in somewhat relief, but Merlin and I looked to each other with worried looks on our faces.

What had we done?

Morgana grinned happily when she opened her eyes and saw me. Merlin had left to tell everyone that Morgana was awake, so it was just me and Morgana for the time being. She tried sitting up, but I made her lie down. "You need to lie still. You're still healing."

She sighed in relief as she smiled at me. "It was you that saved me. I know it was. I could feel your magic heal me. You truly are amazing, Lizzie." This time, she ignored what I said as she reached over and hugged me, her tears of happiness staining my shirt. "Thank you, Sister."

Why did I feel guilty? Merlin was the one that healed her, not me. But maybe it was better for her to think that I had healed her, so that she wouldn't find out about Merlin's magic. "What are sisters for?" I mumbled against her shoulder instead.

Later that night, Morgana wanted to take a walk and test her strength. We came to a stop at the balcony corridor. Morgana stared outside as she tapped her fingers on the balcony ledge. "Sister, is there something bothering you?" I asked.

The door to the other side of the entrance to the balcony opened before she could answer, and we turned our heads to see Morgause walking through the door.

"Morgause," Morgana said in part relief and part confusion.

"Thank goodness," Morgause breathed as she ran over to Morgana. She grabbed her into a hug and held her tightly against her chest. "When Elizabeth said that you were dying, I feared the worst. However, I see that our sister was powerful enough to save you." Morgause looked over to me and took my hand, pulling me into her side.

"There is much to tell you, Morgause," Morgana began as we Morgause cradled the two of her to each of her sides.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I overheard Uther," Morgana reported, and my stomach dropped as I realized what she had overheard.

"What?" Morgause asked.

"Uther is my father. I am his daughter." And there we go.

"Uther?" Morgause asked in surprise.

"He's been lying to me all these years," Morgana said.

"But this is glorious news," Morgause argued.

"He disowned me," Morgana practically seethed. "He wants people to think that he's the perfect king. It's more important to him than his own flesh and blood."

"But don't you see?" Morgause asked as she detattached herself from us and paced to the other side of Morgana. "This is wonderful! You have a legitimate claim to his throne."

Oh man. Oh man oh man oh man. Didn't factor that in our equation.

"Are you sure, Sister?" I asked, just needing proper confirmation.

Morgause nodded. "She is the daughter of the King. She has the right to take the throne from Uther."

"No, Sister. You don't understand. He must pay for this," Morgana insisted, and the warning bells indicating trouble began to sound, obviously responding to Morgause sneaking into the castle. "You must go," Morgana told her.

"No, I don't want to leave you like this," Morgause protested.

I grabbed Morgause's arm. "I'm here for her, Morgause. You have to leave right now or you'll surely be caught."

Morgause nodded defeatedly as she turned to Morgana. "Do not do anything rash, Morgana. Promise me!" She leaned over and kissed Morgana on the cheek, but Morgana pulled away from it.

Instead, Morgause turned to me, pulling me off to the side. "Please, look after her, Sister. You must make sure she doesn't act recklessly."

I nodded. "I can assure you that's what I'll do."

Morgause gave me a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek as well. "We must bide our time," She said, and she took her leave.

Once the door was shut, I walked over to Morgana. "You're still weak. Let's get you back to bed."

I put my hands on Morgana's arms, but she shrugged me off and began walking down the corridor towards her chambers.

"Remember what Morgause said, Morgana," I whispered to her as we approached her room. "Nothing rash, do you understand?"

She didn't reply to me, so I just leaned over and gave her a hug. "Get some rest," I told her, before I turned around and left, a bad feeling sitting in the pit of my stomach.

Honestly, you try to sleep through the night for once in this bloody castle, and it was like you missed five years.

According to Merlin, who had come and woken me up right after it happened, he didn't do anything to stop Morgana's attempt on Uther's life at all. In fact, he had initiated it because of his actions earlier. I went over to Morgana and gave her a firm scolding about it (making up some stupid excuse about me sensing that she was going to do something) before I went with Merlin back to his chambers so we could talk to Gaius.

"You saved the King's life," Gaius said to him.

"Only just. I thought I could alter the future, but instead I caused it. I made it happen," Merlin replied.

"What you did was dangerous, even for someone as gifted as you. But what's done is done." Gaius took a deep breath. "There are more important things for us to worry about. I fear that Morgana knows the truth."

"About what?" Merlin asked.

"She knows the King is her father. That explains why she acted so suddenly," Gaius deduced.

I shook my head. "Your fear isn't uncalled for, Gaius. Morgana does know the truth. Morgause showed up earlier tonight and Morgana told us. She overheard Uther when he was talking to you, Gaius."

"Arthur must be very careful, then," Gaius said.

"Why?" Merlin asked.

"Don't you see, Merlin?" I asked worriedly. "Morgana has royal blood."

Gaius nodded as he continued my thought. "If Uther were to die, Arthur is all that stands between her and the throne of Camelot."

YAY FOR SEASON 3!

Honestly season 3 is my favourite of the show in terms of storyline, which is why I'm so excited about it!

REVIEW! FOLLOW! FAVOURITE! THANKS! STAY TUNED!

THE ADVENTURES OF ELIZABETH MALINOR CONTINUE...

"Marriage?" Arthur asks his father incredulously.

"I don't know, she seems like a lovely girl," Elizabeth comments to Arthur. She winces when she catches sight of Princess Elena. "-ish."

"But I cannot marry someone I don't love," Arthur argues.

Princess Elena sneezes on Arthur.

She ripped a piece of meat off of the bone as she chewed noisely. Arthur gives Elizabeth a pointed look in regards to Princess Elena, and Elizabeth can only lightly lift a shoulder.

"You can, and you will," Uther leaves no room for argument.

Princess Elena slips and falls flat on her face as the entire court gasps. "Oh, that has got to hurt," Elizabeth mumbles lightly under her breath.

"I'm not the perfect princess, am I?" Princess Elena asks her caretaker, Grunhilda.

"Poppycock!" Grunhilda dismisses.

"We have waited many years for this moment," The Sidhe Elder declares.

Merlin watches in bewilderment as Grunhilda's tongue pops out and grabs a fly for her to eat.

"Ugh, really? I thought we were done with the Sidhe!" Elizabeth grumbles.

The Sidhe Elder attacks Merlin with his magic, who deftly dodges the assault.

"Marriage should be for love," Elizabeth advises Arthur. "If you don't love Princess Elena, you should not marry her. It wouldn't be fair to her, to the person that you truly do love, and most of all, it wouldn't be fair to yourself."

"If I marry her, what will you do?" Arthur asks Guinevere as he thinks back to Elizabeth's advice.

"I will watch you grow into the King that Camelot deserves," Guinevere said wisely.

All of Camelot gathers in the hall of ceremonies for the wedding of Prince Arthur and Princess Elena as Arthur grabs Elena's hands at the altar.

For those of you wanting more Arthur and Liz interaction, there's going to be a ton next chapter!
