A Very Hotstuff Thanksgiving-Ch 3
Penelope quickly changed into one of Dereks favorite outfits and made her way back to the living room, Derek looked up and said, "you look beautiful baby girl, breathtakingly beautiful".
She walked over to him and said, "thank you and might I say that you clean up pretty nicely yourself there sugar shack"?, he winked at her and grinned as he leaned in for another kiss.
When they pulled apart he said, "I hope you are hungry because I have turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean salad, pasta salad, rolls, a small ham and for dessert your favorite double chocolate brownies anddddddddd". She watched as he pulled out a chocolate chip cheesecake and put it down in front of her.
She said, "ohhhhhh that's my favorite, how did you know"?, Derek said, "welllllll what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't know what my girl likes"?, Penelope said, "b b boyfriend, did you say boyfriend"?, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer and said, "I did, I love you sweetness and I want you to be my girl, to be mine forever".
Penelope said, "f f forever, you want me f f forever"?, he kissed the end of her nose and said, "forever and ever", she swallowed and said, "but why me, I'm not beautiful, I'm not". He silenced her mumblings by claiming her lips with his in a passionate kiss, when they pulled apart he said, "you are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on".
She stood listening as he said, "I've been in love with you almost since the first time I met you but things were never right, you were dating somebody or I was and now that we are both single I'm staking my claim". Penelope said, "staking your claim"?, Derek rested his forehead against hers and said, "yes, staking my claim".
He sighed and said, "do you know what I see for us"?, she shook her head and said, "no", he said, "well then let me tell you what I see when I look at you". Derek smiled lovingly at her and said, "I see us getting married and moving into my place, I see us having babies, beautiful, beautiful babies and spending the rest of our lives together".
Penelope said, "b b babies, you want to have babies with me"?, he said, "more than anything", Penelope said, "I want that too, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, loving you and being loved by you". Derek said, "I know that most people would say that I'm rushing this relationship but we've known each other for almost 10 years and you are my best friend and I love you more than anything else in this world".
She watched as he pulled a small box out of his pocket and dropped to one knee in front of her and said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, you are the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with you". He opened the box and said, "will you do me the honor of marrying me and spending the rest of your life with me as my wife"?, she grinned and said, "yes, yes Derek, yes I'll marry you".
Derek slid the ring onto her finger and stood up and quickly claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss, they pulled apart to the sound of Penelopes stomach growling. She said, "I'm sorry about that", Derek intertwined their fingers and said, "dinner first and then how about we go into your bedroom for dessert"?, she kissed his lips and said, "I love the way you think hotstuff" as he led her to the table so they could enjoy their first meal together as a couple.
