Happy Thanksgiving!

Another one-shot story! Based on the episode of The Loud House's spinoff TV show, The Casagrandes. Enjoy!

Takes place a week before "The Trickening!"

Dusk was settling over the town of Duckburg. Huey, Dewey, and Louie were placing camping gear in their camping backs as they chatted with Ven, Terra, Aqua, and Chirithy from the Land of Departure on a laptop.

"So where are you guys camping tonight?" asked Aqua.

"The graveyard." Dewey said as he tested a flashlight.

"The girls are joining us as well." added Huey.

"So are Gosalyn and Honker." added Louie. "Drake, Gosalyn, and Morgana are vacationing here for a week again and they brought Honker with them so he could get out of the house and away from his bully of an older brother."

"Must be nice having another boy in your group of friends huh?" asked Ven.

"You bet." said Dewey. "Don't get us wrong, we like the girls very much but it's nice to have some more guys join our group of friends."

"What about B.O.Y.D.?" asked Ven. "Isn't he a part of your group too?"

"Oh he is." replied Huey. "But he's in the works for a much needed overhaul. Gyro says he'll be right as rain before Halloween."

"Well that's good to hear." said Terra. "So why are you guys camping at a cemetery?"

"To set a record." replied Dewey confidently.

The four residents of The Land of Departure traded confused glances. "What record?" asked Ven.

"They say that a group of four friends spent the night there over a century ago." said Dewey with a brightened face. "They called themselves the Fearless Four."

"And we're gonna beat that record!" Huey said confidently.

"Plus, it'll be a good kind of publicity for Louie Inc.'s boss." added Louie.

"Well as long as you guys don't raise the dead." said Chirithy. "I heard that's what you accidentally did before your mom came back from the moon."

"Don't worry, we won't." promised Huey.

"Plus, Lena's got her magic under control, so we'll be fine." said Louie.

"Alright then." said Terra. "Well, be careful. Keep an eye out for anything strange."

"Take care!" said Aqua as they waved goodbye.

"See ya!" said Dewey.

With that, Aqua ended the call.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie finished packing their supplies and went out into the hall. Webby, Lena, April, May, and June were waiting for them.

"Hey boys." greeted April.

"You guys ready for an awesome camping night tonight?!" Webby asked excitedly.

"You bet Webbs!" said Dewey.

"So what's the plan for when we leave?" asked Lena.

"We'll be picking up Violet at her place and then Gosalyn and Honker at the hotel." said Huey.

"And then it's record setting time!" said Dewey.

"Hang on!" said April. "We're missing something. Or rather… someone…"

Just then, a blur of yellow ran up to the group. It was Pluto, Mickey's faithful dog.

"Oh there you are Pluto!" said Webby as she petted the dog.

"You ready to go camping with us boy?" asked Dewey.

Pluto happily barked in response.

"Aw? Who's a good boy?" May giggled as she began rubbing Pluto's belly, much to his delight.

"Someone really loves getting his belly rubbed." June smirked.

"Come one guys, let's go." said Huey. "Launchpad's gonna be back from visiting his family soon."

"Right right, we're coming." Louie muttered as he began to walk downstairs.

But no sooner did they get downstairs, they found themselves face-to-face with Scrooge with a stern expression on his face.

"Oh hey Uncle Scrooge." greeted Dewey.

"Mind moving to the side? We wanna go out the door." said Lena.

"I heard you kids sayin' that you were goin' to the cemetery to camp tonight." said Scrooge.

"Yeah we are!" said Webby, beaming.

"Well you can forget about that!" said Scrooge firmly, much to their surprise.

"What?! Why?!" asked May.

"Yeah, we're capable of handling ourselves!" said Dewey, crossing his arms.

"Plus, Pluto's with us. And he's an excellent guard dog." added Louie.

Pluto barked in response.

"I know that." said Scrooge. "But throughout my adventuring years, I've had bad experiences with things related to the undead. And I would not want to wish it on any of my family."

"We have a ghost butler." June deadpanned.

"Technically, he's a ghost, not a zombie or other undead being." Lena pointed out.

"You're the magic expert." June shrugged.

"Either way, the cemetery is too scary for children like yourselves." said Scrooge.

"Uncle Scrooge, I'm 16." said Lena, crossing her arms.

"Well your uncle does have a point." came a voice.

Everyone looked and saw Ludwig VonDrake come down the hall from the other staircase. He wore his standard attire: glasses, a grey jacket, a white collared long-sleeve shirt, and a black tie.

"Whaddya mean Uncle Ludwig?" asked Huey.

"Well many studies have shown that people of all ages are scared of cemeteries, especially in the darkest of all nights." the scientist replied. "And it can lead to recurring nightmares."

"Thank you Ludwig." Scrooge said thankfully to his genius brother-in-law.

"Oh ho you're welcome!" Ludwig smiled. "Also, that's not the only reason why I'm out here. Look who decided to pop on by."

And out from behind Ludwig came Goldie O'Gilt.

"Hello Scroogie!" she smirked.

"Oh no…!" Scrooge groaned while the kids snickered. "Goldie what are you doing here?"

"I was just stopping by, climbing in through the window since I knew you'd slam the door in my face, may or may not have had the idea to steal anything from your office, ran into Professor VonS.H.U.S.H. over here, and then overheard what you were saying to the kids." Goldie replied casually.

"So the usual then?" Louie smirked.

"You'd know Sharpie." Goldie smirked back before frowning. "But Scrooge and Ludwig are right. The Duckburg Graveyard is too scary. Even for me."

That took the kids aback.

"Seriously?" asked Webby.

"Hey, there's a lot you don't know about me Webster." Goldie shrugged.

"But the idea is that it's scary!" said Dewey. "Legend has it that 130 years ago, a group known as the Fearless Four spent the entire night in the cemetery!"

"And no one's ever been brave enough to do it until tonight!" Webby added.

"I thought you'd be against that sort of thing Louie." Goldie said to the green-clad triplet.

"Hey, getting in that record book would be good publicity for Louie Inc." Louie replied.

"Plus, Mom, Uncle Donald, and Aunt Daisy gave us permission." added Huey.

Said adults were in the living room watching Ottoman Empire and had overheard everything before coming into the hall. Donald and Della wore their usual attires. This time, Daisy was dressed in her pink jacket with blakc buttons, black ribbon hair bow, back heels, and her hairstyle was styled in a sort of fluffy, soft, and swirly kind of way.

"Well I didn't give them permission to give you permission!" Scrooge countered.

"Oh come on Uncle Scrooge." scoffed Della. "You let me and Donald go with Daisy when we were kids."

"Yeah!" said Daisy. "And we got out just fine."

"I thought you'd be against this Donald." said Scrooge.

"I've learned to be not so overprotective." Donald replied. "Besides, after everything that's happened, I know the kids can take care of themselves like they said."

"And who knows, maybe you guys will last longer than the three of us when we went camping there." added Daisy.

"Yeah, Donald couldn't last an hour." said Della with a smirk.

Donald glared at his twin. "Me? You wanted to leave!" he quacked.

"No I'm pretty sure it was you!" Della said with a glaring smirk as she flicked Donald's white cap off his head.

"Oh no! It was definitely you!" Donald said defiantly.

Donald and Della glared at each other… before getting into a fight cloud.

"You were the scaredy cat Dumbella!" Donald quacked.

"In your dreams! Nothing can stop Della Duck!" Della yelled back.

Scrooge and Daisy sighed in exasperation while Ludwig, Goldie, and the kids looked confused.

"For crying out loud first that stupid puzzle and now this…" groaned Daisy as she seperated the two fighting ducks.

"I'm surprised even Beakley let you guys go too." said Goldie.

"You would be." said Beakley as she came by, dusting the handrails on the staircase. "But I know my granddaughter and her friends can handle themselves well out there."

"See, even she will let us go!" said May.

"And you let those three go too!" added April, gesturing to Donald, Daisy, and Della.

Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, April, May, and June went up to Scrooge, and out of nowhere… gave him the puppy-dog eyes.

"Please?" Webby begged.

"Oh no… not the puppy-dog eyes…" Scrooge said nervously as the eight kids' eyes grew bigger. Finally, Scrooge buckled and broke. "Okay! You can go."

The eight kids cheered before hugging Scrooge.

"Thanks Uncle Scrooge!" they said in unison.

Just then, Launchpad drove up to the front door in the limo.

"Hey guys! I'm here and ready to take you to the next century!" he called.

"Cemetery, Launchpad!" said April. "And after we pick up Violet, Gosalyn, and Honker!"

"Oh yeah! Thanks April!" Launchpad called back.

"Come on guys!" said Dewey.

With that, the eight kids and Pluto boarded the limo and Launchpad drove off.

Scrooge watched them go with a fond smile, only to laugh nervously when he saw Ludwig and Goldie deadpan at him.

"You're a weak man." Goldie muttered.

Duckburg Cemetery:

Night had fallen over Duckburg as the eleven best friends set up camp. Pluto was resting nearby.

Like the other duck kids, Violet wore her usual attire.

Gosalyn wore a grey shirt-jacket over a lavender sweater with a blue pin that read "1" on the right, black pants, grey sneakers with white tips and bottoms, and a blue ribbon in her hair.

Honker wore his usual green t-shirt and red glasses.

Huey, April, and Violet were finishing setting up the tent.

"May I ask where you acquired such a giant tent?" Violet asked Gosalyn.

"Back when Launchpad was living with us in St. Canard, our first time camping we had to buy a tent that could fit me, him, and Dad, especially since he was so tall." Gosalyn replied.

"Luckily, it'll fit all of us." said Honker as he set a lantern inside. He then came back out. "Alright, we're all set."

"Everyone ready to brave the haunted cemetery?" Gosalyn asked before shining a flashlight on her face, laughing evilly, making her friends giggle.

"We're so ready!" said Dewey.

"I brought my Diamond Dagger just in case." said Lena, showing off her weapon.

"We got night-vison goggles." said June as she, April, and May put them on.

"I also brought a spare spell book." said Violet, showing off a large purple book.

"We brought some spare weapons in that duffel bag." said Louie, pointing over to a large black duffel bag.

"And I brought my Quiverwing Quack weapons." said Gosalyn as she pulled out a lavender bag. "Bow, arrows, and crossbow."

"What about the costume?" asked Webby.

"Dad didn't want my identity getting exposed." said Gosalyn.

"But we know who you guys are." said Huey.

"Yeah but we trust you." said Gosalyn. "He meant strangers."

"Oh yeah, there are some creeps and weirdos out there." said May.

"Luckily, we'll be ready for them." said Louie.

Pluto barked in agreement.

"So why is your uncle's friend's dog here again?" asked Honker.

"Mickey and Minnie are out for their anniversary." said Huey. "So we all agreed to watch Pluto for the next few days."

"And he's an excellent guard dog when he has to be." added Webby, petting the yellow dog's head, much to his enjoyment. "Uncle Donald says he can keep an eye out for us all night till he's tired and wants to sleep too."

"He is brave alright." said Violet as she petted him too.

Pluto barked.

"One bark means the coast is clear: no ghosts, zombies, werewolves, the whole spooky genre." said Lena.

"What does two barks mean?" Honker asked curiously.

"RUN." Webby said sinisterly.

Everyone was silent for a moment.

"Ok… well come on, let's go inside the tent." said Huey.

With that, the kids went inside the tent. Dewey was last as he spoke to Pluto.

"Keep a good look out boy." Dewey said to Pluto. "And sleep lightly in case someone is about."

Pluto nodded while he ruffed in a way that sounded like "Yeah yeah yeah!"

Soon, everyone was in the tent having a good time.

Dewey and Webby cuddled against each other against their sleeping bags with loving smiles on their faces.

Huey and Violet fed each other potato chips.

April did Gosalyn's hair as she read a TaleSpin comic book.

May and June thumb wrestled.

Honker read a science book.

Louie and Lena laid against their rolled-up sleeping bags, drinking Pep!.

"See? This isn't scary." said Huey.

"Yeah, I dunno what Uncle Scrooge, Uncle Ludwig, and Goldie were so worked-up about." said April.

"This is nice spending time with each other." said Dewey as he pecked Webby's cheek, making her giggle.

"And what better way to do so than to relax." said Lena.

Lena then opened another Pep! and gulped down the entire can, much to everyone's awe.

"You're amazing Lena, y'know that?" Gosalyn, impressed.

Lena smirked before letting out a satisfying loud burp.

*UUUUUUURRRRRRPPPP!*

Everyone laughed in amusement.

"What can I say? I'm a rebel teenager." Lena smirked. "I was a teeanger for literally 16 years. I know the cool stuff."

"You sure do!" laughed Dewey.

"And that's why I love you." Louie smiled as he kissed her, making Lena smile and blush.

"And you're right Huey, this isn't scary at all." said Violet.

"Nothing can ruin this night." added May.

Suddenly, a loud ghoulish voice echoed around them front him outside, making the kids freeze.

"Ooooooh… you shouldn't have come here…" it called out.

"W-W-What was that?" Honker asked nervously.

"Please tell me that was the wind." Louie said nervously.

"I hope so…" June said meekly.

"Maybe someone should go check it out." suggested April.

"Right. We'll go." said May, gesturing to herself and her sisters.

"Are you sure?" asked Violet.

"We'll be fine." said May. "Plus, we got night vision goggles."

"Ok. Be careful." said Huey.

"We'll be fine." smiled April as the Duck girls exited the tent.

April, May, and June walked across the cemetery as the fog began to roll in.

"That's weird." said May. "The weather lady said there wasn't supposed to be fog tonight."

"Either way, goggles on girls." said April.

The three slipped on their giggles and looked around. They couldn't see anything suspicious. Only graves, the fence, and twisted trees.

"So far nothing." said June. "Just a normal spooky cemetery."

Suddenly, they heard a cackling noise.

"W-W-What was that?" May stuttered.

Suddenly, through the mist, they could make out what looked like a duck in a dress wearing a witch hat.

"Is that a witch…?" April stuttered.

Suddenly, the cackling grew louder. And out through the mist came a scary-looking witch duck. She had dark green feathers, an orange beak, and red eyes, and wore a long black dress, black boots, a black hat, and a brown rope belt tied in the front. She grinned maliciously at the girls.

"Yup! Definitely a witch!" May screamed.

The witch cackled like mad as she lunged at the girls, making them jump back in fight. She tried to grab them, but they dodged everytime.

"OK, I am not gonna be a part of her spell!" screamed april.

"Let's get outta here!" screamed June.

April, May, and June threw their night vision goggles at the witch, making her stumble back in fright and then they bolted out of the graveyard, screaming in terror.

Back in the tent, everyone heard them scream.

"That sounded like Aunt Daisy's nieces!" said Violet.

"Ok, something's definitely wrong here." said Huey.

"You think this cemetery is haunted?" asked Gosalyn.

"I hope not." Honker said nervously.

"C'mon, we have to find them!" said Webby.

"I was afraid you'd say that." said Louie, frowning.

"Louie, they're family." reminded Dewey. "C'mon, we have to find them."

The eight kids came out of the tent and called out for the girl triplets.

"April" called Huey.

"Yo May!" called Dewey.

"June! You out there!" called Louie.

"Come on out you guys!" called Gosalyn.

Then, Lena noticed something on the ground and gasped.

"Guys! Look, it's their night vision goggles!" she said.

Everyone looked and saw that Lena was right.

"This is bad." Louie gulped.

They saw three different paths going left and right.

"Let's see." said Webby as she studied the paths. "If I were running for my life, which way would I go?"

"Maybe we should-" Huey began.

"DON'T finish that sentence!" said Louie.

"...split up." Huey finished.

"Ugh, I told you not to say it!" Louie groaned.

Huey, Lena, and Honker went left, Dewey, Webby, and Gosalyn went right, and Louie and Violet went forwards.

Louie and Violet walked along as they tried to look for their friends.

"April! May! June! C'mon out!" called Louie.

"It's Violet and Louie!" called Violet.

"You don't think they ran off and out of the cemetery do you?" asked Louie. "'Cause I definitely would."

"It's possible." said Violet.

Suddenly, they heard a growling noise. They turned and saw a black-fured werewolf with glowing red eyes coming towards them on all fours. It's teeth were bared and it was drooling as it growled.

"Newton's apple! A werewolf!" cried Violet.

"Use that spell book!" cried Louie.

"Oh right!" said Violet as she reached into her toon space and brought out the book. "Ok, ½ a cup of butter, a spoonful of sugar-" Violet cut herself off when she realized something. "Oh Edison's Bulb, this is my dad's cookbook!" she cried.

"Which one?" asked Louie.

"Ty." Violet replied.

The werewolf howled and then growled before lunging at the kids, making them duck out of the way.

"RUN FOR IT!" Louie and Violet cried as they bolted away from the werewolf and out of the cemetery, screaming like mad.

In another part, Dewey, Webby, and Gosalyn were walking along.

"Still no sign of them." said Gosalyn.

"I hope they're ok." said Webby.

"Don't worry Webbs." Dewey said comfortingly. "I'm sure they are. They're strong girls. And May's tough like you and me."

Suddenly, they heard a hissing noise.

"Who's there?!" called Webby.

Suddenly, bruising out from a coffin came a zombie duck. He had blackish-grey skin, yellow eyes, withered grey hair, and wore a tattered brown shirt, a tattered tan vest (unbuttoned), torn gey pants, and was barefoot

"Whoa a zombie!" cried Dewey.

"I got this!" added Gosalyn as she readied her crossbow.

"Wait! Arrows can't hurt them!" Webby exclaimed. "Trust me! I read about them!"

"Oh right! They can't feel pain!" cried Gosalyn.

The zombie groaned as he stepped out of his casket, licking his teeth.

"Guys… I think he's hungry for our brains…" Dewey stuttered.

The zombie then groaned loudly as he jumped at them, making them roll out of the way.

"Run for it!" cried Dewey.

Not having to be told twice, Webby and Gosalyn ran after Dewey, the three of them screaming as they bolted out of the cemetery.

In another part, Huey, Lena, and Honker walked together, the latter nervous out of his mind.

"Why am I even here!?" Honker asked, terrified. "I don't care about breaking records! I care about normal stuff! Baseball, calculations, vacationing!"

"Dude, calm down Honker, there's nothing to be afraid of." said Lena. "Besides, it's not like the fog can hurt us."

Then, Huey spotted something.

"Lena, Honker, look." he said.

"What, is it the girls?" asked Lena.

"No, something peculiar." said Huey.

Lena and Honker walked with Huey towards the fence where they saw what looked like a group of people near a warehouse next to the back of the cemetery 100 feet away. Upon closer inspection, they almost looked like soldiers dressed in yellow and orange with weirdly-shaped heads.

"What are they?" asked Huey.

"Are they… soldiers?" asked Lena.

"They do look strange…" said Honker, squinting his eyes.

Suddenly, Pluto ran up to them, barking twice in worry.

"You heard the dog! Let's get outta here!" cried Honker as he ran off.

"Honker wait!" called Lena.

"Uh, maybe we should go too Lena." Huey said nervously.

"What about making history?" Lena protested.

Suddenly, through the fog came the zombie, witch, werewolf, and what looked like a ghoul duck. It had faded-white-colored feathers, growing white eyes, a pale yellow beak, and wore torn blue jeans and torn brown spads.

Huey and Lena screamed in alarm.

"How about making history for the shortest time here?!" Huey asked nervously.

"No need! I got them!" said Lena as she summoned her magic and threw numerous orbs at the monsters.

But to Lena's horror and dismay, they were able to dodge the magic orbs and began to snarl louder.

"Dang it! They can dodge my magic!" Lena exclaimed. She turned to a frightened huey. "That idea about the shortest time here? I like the sound of that!" she said scaredy.

Huey and Lena then ran out of the cemetery with Pluto, the first two screaming in terror.

No sooner did they run off, the zombie spoke in a familiar voice.

"Well done you lot! They're gone!"

He then removed his mask…

...revealing Scrooge underneath!

The witch removed her mask, revealing Goldie underneath.

The ghoul followed suit, revealing himself to be Ludwig.

Finally the werewolf removed his mask, revealing Scrooge's sister Matilda McDuck underneath.

"Curse me kilts, what a rush!" she said as she stepped out of her costume. She wore a yellow long-sleeved button-up collared shirt, blue pants, and a red flower on the left side of her hair.

"After all these years you still know how to pull off a good howl." chuckled Ludwig.

"Thanks honey." smiled Matilda as she took out a fog machine from behind some bushes.

"Our record is still safe, 130 years and going strong!" Goldie cheered.

"Thanks again for telling me about this Scrooge." Matilda told her brother. "As much as I love taking care of our parents, it's nice to get out of the castle once in a while."

"If it means getting to see my sister again as well as preserving our record, then by all means." Scrooge said with a smile.

"You don't think we were too scary do ya?" Ludwig asked, a little concerned.

"Not at all Ludwig. They'll be alright." said Scrooge as he reached into his toonspace, pulling out four cans of lemonade from his lemonade business. "Now we can celebrate with some lemonade, this particular brand created by yours truly."

Ludwig, Matilda, and Goldie each took a lemonade can.

"No one dethrones the Fearless Four." Matilda grinned.

"And how!" laughed Goldie as they clanged their cans together, cheering at preserving their record.

The next morning, Scrooge was chatting with Goldie and Ludwig as they walked through the halls of the mansion.

"So you have a summer home in Scotland?" asked Goldie.

"You know it." said Ludwig. "My inventions helping the community and Matilda's various businesses helped us afford one."

"That way they can still take care of Mum and Dad." added Scrooge.

"Ok that makes sense." said Goldie.

Then, they spotted Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, April, May, and June sitting with Donald, Della, and Daisy in the screening room, the kids looking at bit upset. Cheeky grins plastered their faces as they joined them.

"Morning kids." said Scrooge.

"Oh hey Uncle Scrooge." Dewey greeted plainly.

"So how was last night in that spooky cemetery?" asked Ludwig.

"Did you make history?" asked Goldie, trying to hide a smirk.

"Not in the slightest." groaned April.

"It was one of the most scariest nights of our entire lives." added Huey, shuddering.

"We didn't even make it until midnight!" Louie groaned. "So much for having this to put on my list of accomplishments to promote my ownership of Louie Inc."

Donald, Daisy, and Della smiled sympathetically at the kids.

"Aw don't worry kids." Della soothed. "You did manage to accomplish one thing."

"What's that Mom?" asked Huey.

"Well you lasted longer than the three of us did." Della replied before giving Donald a teasing smirk. "At least longer than your uncle."

Donald glared. "I still don't think that's how it happened." he hissed before taking Della's pilot hat off and throwing it to the side.

Della glared at her smug-looking twin before going to retrieve her hat.

"Some things never change in this household." sighed Daisy.

"Anyway, tonight's gonna be different." said Lena with a smile.

Scrooge, Goldie, and Ludwig were completely taken aback.

"Wait, what?!" they asked.

"Oh yeah, we're gonna do it again tonight!" May explained.

"WAIT, WHAT?!" the elderly adults exclaimed again.

"But what about it being too scary for you?" asked Goldie.

"This time we're gonna be well-prepared for anything that comes our way." June said smugly as the kids sat up.

"Come on kids, let's help you get packed." said Daisy.

"I know some good weapons to help you guys for tonight." said Della.

"Me too." said Donald as they all exited the room. "And I believe they're all stuffed in the garage somewhere."

Scrooge, Ludwig, and Goldie watched them go. Scrooge frowned before looking determined.

"Those kids are tougher than we thought." he told the others.

"Well you did teach them well in their adventures with Della stuck on the moon and Donald secretly busy at the castle." Ludwig pointed out.

"That won't matter." Scrooge said with an evil grin. "We must prepare ourselves for round 2. And we'll make their night extra scary that they'll never want to spend the night at the cemetery again!"

"Sounds good!" said Ludwig.

"Hope they packed pants and underwear." Goldie said deviously.

Scrooge, Goldie, and Ludwig then erupted into evil, cackling laughter… only to be joined in by Matilda who somehow came in without them noticing and was laughing too.

"Um, what are we laughing about?" she asked with a nervous smile.

That night, the kids were gathered around the tent again.

"Ok, is everyone ready?" asked Huey. "We want to make sure we got plenty of safety gear."

"Pluto's all ready." said Dewey as he patted the dog's head.

"Night vision goggles, check." April, May, and June said in unison.

"Diamond dagger, shrappened." said Lena, holding up said weapon as it shined in the moonlight.

"This time I brought the spellbook." said Violet, holding up another large purple book.

"I got my grappling hook!" added Webby as she brandished her signature weapon.

"We bought a big load of weapons from the garage." said Louie, gesturing to a large grey sports bag. "Spears, swords, and staves for us all."

"I brought extra arrows and my Quiverwing Quack costume to look more intimidating." added Gosalyn as she unzipped her lavender back, showing off her costume before zipping it up again.

"And I brought a dozen flashlights to blind any monsters." said Honker, showing said flashlights in a green duffel bag.

"Looks like we're all prepared." said Huey.

"And remember." said Webby. "We don't leave for anything no matter what comes out way."

"Now that we're extra protected, I think we'll be perfectly safe tonight." said Violet.

The kids cheered as they and Pluto went inside the tent.

Several feet away in the bushes, Scrooge, Goldie, Ludwig, and Matilda watched them. They were all in their costumes with their masks off.

"Ok Matilda." Scrooge said to his sister. "Start your howling."

"You got it!" said Matilda she cleared her throat. But just before she could howl.

AWOOOO!

"Huh? Hey, that's my line!" Matilda said in confusion.

"Wasn't me." said Scrooge.

"Or us." Goldie and Ludwig said in unison.

"Eh, probably just the wind." said Goldie.

"You're right." said Scrooge. "Come on sister, howl!"

But before Matilda could…

AWOOOOOOO!

The howling began to get louder and louder.

"You don't think that's an actual werewolf, right?" Matilda asked nervously.

"It shouldn't be." said Scrooge, nervous.

"Oh come on you two." Goldie scoffed. "There's nothing to be afraid of around here."

Ludwig's eyes then widened. "Except those two!" he exclaimed.

Goldie and the McDuck siblings looked in Ludwigs direction and saw a vampire duck rise from an open grave. It had grey skin, yellow eyes, and a pale beak. It also wore a black jacket, a white collared-shirt, a red vest, a purple bowtie, black pants, and black boots. It's fangs were also dripping blood red.

And standing on it's grave was a large grey bat with large wings, large red eyes, and sharp claws.

They hissed and screeched in unison.

Scrooge, Matilda, Goldie, and Ludwig screamed.

"Let's get outta here before they drain our blood!" cried Goldie.

"Wait!" cried Scrooge. "We have to save the kids!"

"Scrooge is right!" said Matilda as they all ripped their costumes off. "We're old! But they're young and fresh for the picking!"

Inside the tent, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, Violet, April, May, June, Gosalyn, Honker, and Pluto were huddled together after hearing the howling. Suddenly, their tent was lifted up and thrown to the side by Scrooge, making them scream in alarm.

"Wait, Uncle Scrooge?!" Louie asked in surprise.

"C'mon kids!" said Scrooge as Goldie, Ludwig, and Matilda caught up with them.

"Yeah, we have to run!" said Goldie.

"Goldie? Uncle Ludwig? Aunt Matilda? What's going on?" asked Huey.

"The cemetery's alive and our blood is on the menu, that's what!" said Matilda as she pointed behind them as they began to run.

The kids and Pluto looked and saw the vampire running after them with a hungry look and the bat flying just above it with a malicious grin. The kids all screamed in terror.

"Oh man it is alive!" cried Dewey.

"They want our blood!" cried June.

"And we just left all of our weapons behind!" cried Webby.

"I got the spellbook ready!" said Violet as she brought out said book from her toonspace. "When planting marigolds… darn it, that's my Dad's gardening book!" she exclaimed as she put it back.

"Which one?" asked Gosalyn.

"Indy." Violet hastily replied.

"How are we gonna get out of this one?!" scrambled Louie.

Then, Lena spotted something up ahead.

"Quick! In that crypt so we can regroup!" she cried.

"Good eye Lena!" said Scrooge.

Lena opened the door and everyone bolted inside. Honker quickly closed it.

"Is-Is it over?" Honker nervously asked.

"I think so." mumbled April.

"At least we're safe." Violet said with a weak smile.

Suddenly, out of a casket came a mummy wrapped in faded white bandages. It's eyes glowed green. It groaned as it reached its arms out.

"No we're not!" cried Matilda.

"Quick, everyone out!" cried Scrooge.

But before they could, they were suddenly blocked by the bat and vampire. Everyone looked to the sides before screaming in terror.

Scrooge, Goldie, Ludwig, and Matilda then looked determined. Scrooge and Goldie blocked the kids from the mummy while Ludwig and Matilda did the same in front of the bat and vampire.

"Take us! Not the kids!" said Scrooge.

Suddenly, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, Violet, Gosalyn, April, May, and June giggled, much to the adults' confusion. Honker looked both confused and scared.

"What in Dismal Downs is going on?! Why are you lot laughing?!" Scrooge asked incredulously.

"Because payback is sweet!" came a familiar, rambunctious voice.

The mummy, bat, and vampire came up to Scrooge, Matilda, Ludwig, and Goldie.

The mummy yanked off his mask… revealing Donald underneath!

The vampire yanked off his mask… revealing Della underneath!

And finally, the bat yanked off his mask… showing Daisy!

All three smiled widely.

"WE GOT YOU!" Donald, Daisy, Della, Huey, Dewey, Louie, April, May, June, Webby, Lena, Violet, and Gosalyn said in unison as they, Honker, and Pluto walked up to them.

"Wait what?!" asked Goldie.

"What's going on?" asked Scrooge.

"We know that you four were the ones who scared us last night." said Huey.

"That was when we figured it out." said Violet.

Last night:

Everyone had fled back to McDuck Manor. Huey, Dewey, Louie, April, May, June, Webby, Lena, Violet, and Gosalyn sat with Donald, Daisy, and Della, the adults trying to comfort them. Honker was in the bathroom and Pluto was lying down in his dog bed.

"It was so scary last night you guys." Huey said scaredly.

"I've seen scarier things on our adventures, but still!" mumbled May.

"There was a werewolf!" said Louie.

"And a zombie!" added Dewey.

"And a wicked witch!" added April.

"And a weird, drooling, ghoul!" added Lena.

"It's ok kids." soothed Donald. "They can't hurt you anymore."

Suddenly, Daisy realized something.

"Hold on a minute." she said. "Donald, Della, weren't those the same monsters that scared us when we camped there as kids?"

Donald and Della were surprised as they realized Daisy was right.

"Hey yeah those were the same monsters!" said Della.

Flashback, 75 years ago:

Donald, Daisy, and Della were in their tent. Donald was strumming his guitar while Daisy did Della's hair.

"Now this is camping." said Daisy. "Our Junior Woodchuck knowledge is helping us have a good time."

"You can say that again." said Donald as he strummed his guitar. "Camping with my favorite girls! Wouldn't be with anyone else in the whole wide world!" he sang.

"Sounds good bro!" said Della.

"Keep it up and I bet you'll have a great song to share with the world!" added Daisy.

"You bet I will!" said Donald.

Suddenly, a ghoulish voice was heard outside.

"You should leave…!" it called.

"Uh… what was that?" asked Daisy, nervous.

"Sounded like some strange voice." said Della. "Come on! Let's check it out!"

"Are you sure about that?" Donald asked nervously.

"Aw come on Donnie, where's your adventuring spirit?" Della asked.

"Must've left it in my other pants." Donald muttered.

"You don't wear pants." Daisy pointed out.

Donald looked down and blushed. "Oh. Right."

The three kids exited the tent as the fog rolled in.

"Weird. There wasn't supposed to be any fog tonight." said Daisy.

Suddenly, they heard a cackling noise.

"What was that!?" Donald cried.

"Sounded like a witch." said Della.

Suddenly, a witch leapt out from behind a grave, a malicious grin on her face.

"That's because it IS a witch!" cried Daisy.

"Run for it!" cried Donald.

The three kids ran for it, only to skid to a stop when they saw a werewolf, on all fours, heading towards them, growling.

"Werewolf! Find a different exit!" cried Donald.

The three ran in another direction until a ghoul leapt out from behind a tree. It groaned in a scary tone.

"There's our ghoulish voice." Della said nervously.

"Quick, find another way out!" cried Daisy.

The three kids ran towards the crypt, only to skid to a stop when walking out of it was a zombie.

"ZOMBIE!" the kids screamed.

"You're not getting my brain!" Donald yelled as they ran for the exit.

The four monsters chased the three Duck kids until they ran out of the cemetery, screaming in terror.

End of flashback:

"Huh, small world I guess." shrugged June.

"It was so scary." said Gosalyn as she took a sip of a can of lemonade. "I might not sleep for weeks."

Everyone looked at Gosalyn, confused.

"Uh Gos, where'd you get that can of lemonade?" asked Lena. "The only lemonade we have is in a pitcher."

"Oh, the zombie dropped it." Gosalyn replied.

Gosalyn held it at an angle where everyone could see the label… and the label showed Scrooge's face!

Huey, Dewey, Louie, April, May, June, Webby, Lena, Violet, Donald, Daisy, and Della gasped in shock.

Gosalyn gasped too… before taking another sip.

Present:

Scrooge, Ludwig, Matilda, and Goldie's jaws dropped. Then, Goldie smacked Scrooge upside the head as she, Ludwig, and Matilda glared at him.

"Scrooge you dummy! Your lemonade gave us away!" Goldie snapped.

"Well you weren't complaining when you were drinking it down." Scrooge retorted only to get smacked again by both Goldie and Matilda.

"So anyway, we knew that you were the ones who scared us." said Webby.

"And us." added Doanld.

"So we teamed up with Mom, Uncle Donald, and Aunt Daisy to get you back." said Louie.

"W-We did?" Honker asked in confusion.

Everyone looked at Honker, noticing that he was still shaken up.

"Honk, I thought you knew." said Gosalyn, confused.

"No! No one tells me anything!" Honker exclaimed, flailing his arms. "I've been terrified out of my mind all night!"

Lena turned to Pluto. "Pluto, you were supposed to tell him!" she said.

Pluto barked with an apologetic expression.

"He said, 'My bad.'" Lena translated.

"It's true." sighed Ludwig. "The four of us didn't want our record broken."

"I guess we were being too competitive." said Matilda.

Scrooge then smiled. "But then again, you kids got us real good."

"And grown ups." added Donald, smirking.

Scrooge chuckled. "Ah yes. Good job lad. You too Della and Daisy."

"I gotta ask, how did you guys pull off those costumes?" asked Goldie.

"Yeah, I made ours." added Ludwig.

"You seem to forget that you aren't the only scientist we know Uncle Ludwig." Huey replied.

Gyro's lab, earlier that day:

As Manny and Li'l Bulb worked on upgrading B.O.Y.D., Gyro and Fenton stood in front of Donald, Della, Daisy, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby with the mummy, vampire, and bat costumes.

"So how are we on our costumes?" asked Della.

"Fenton and I have finished." said Gyro. "We were able to use special technological lenses so the eyes glow like the others."

"Yep. Red for the bat and vampire, and green for the mummy." said Fenton.

"Ooh I like the sound of that." said Donald as he studied his mummy costume.

"And over here Della, we were able to create a modified leg for you with a hard sole shoe attached to it can blend into your costume." said Fenton as he handed her said robot leg.

"Alright! That's what I'm talkin' about!" Della cheered as she took it.

"And how are you gonna make my fly?" Daisy asked.

"Glad you asked." said Gyro. "Your's was the hardest, but luckily, not so difficult for me and Fenton."

"We were able to attached modified wings for your costume so they can keep you in the air." said Fenton as he pulled out a modified headband. "And you'll be wearing this in your mask to help you."

"What is it?" asked Daisy. "Some sort of head band?"

"It's a modified headband that allows you to activate the wings with your mind." said Gyro.

"Go ahead, test it out." said Fenton.

Daisy slipped the headband through her fluffy hair and around her head. And then as she thought of her costume flying, she saw the wings flap and the bat costume was flying in the air.

"Ooh now that is cool!" Daisy said, impressed.

That night:

As the kids are setting up the tent, Donald, Della, and Daisy got into positions. Donald slipped on his mummy mask and snuck into the crypt.

Della hid behind a gravestone and slipped on her mask before adding red food-coloring on the fangs. Daisy hid with her as she got a text from Donald.

"They're here." she whispered.

Della peaked out and spotted Scrooge, Matilda, Goldie, and Ludwig hiding in the bushes.

"Let's do this!" Daisy whispered as she howled.

Present:

Scrooge, Ludwig, Goldie, and Matilda were impressed.

"Now that is an amazing scheme." mused Goldie.

"Glad you thought so." smirked Louie.

"Come on lads and lasses, it's late. Let's go home." said Scrooge.

Violet exited the crypt first. But beamed when she saw the sunrise.

"You mean early!" the hummingbird exclaimed.

Everyone was amazed as they walked out.

"Violet's right! We made it all night!" cheered Dewey.

Everyone cheered. Pluto barked happily.

"Yeah, all three generations!" said Donald.

"Now we're all in the history books!" cheered Matilda.

"The Fearless Four are now the Fearless Twenty!" added Scrooge.

"Alright! We made history!" cheered Webby.

"Louie Inc. is gonna be popular with this kind of publicity in the future!" cheered Louie.

"That was quite the adventure!" said Lena.

"You said it!" said Gosalyn.

But then, Huey stopped cheering. "Wait a minute." he said.

Everyone looked at him.

"What's up Huey?" asked April.

Huey looked at the four elders.

"How did you guys pull off those weird soldiers?" he asked. "You know, the ones dressed in yellow with weird heads?"

Scrooge, Matilda, Ludwig, and Goldie traded confused glances.

"We didn't have spooky soldiers helping us." said Ludwig.

"Yeah we didn't see them either when we were kids." added Della.

"She's right. All we saw were the four monsters you kids saw." Donald said in agreement.

"Probably some knuckleheads cosplaying." shrugged Goldie. "Come on, let's go get our names in the history books."

Everyone nodded in agreement as they walked away from the cemetery.

Two nights ago:

But what Huey, Lena, and Honker saw last night weren't just soldiers. They were the Eggheads, F.O.W.L.'s footmen. They were standing guard outside the truck that night at the warehouse. With them, Steelbeak and John D. Rockerduck were waiting on the other side of the truck. Rockerduck was temporarily deaged as he was just taken out of his cryofreeze.

"So how long until the shipment gets here?" Steelbeak asked.

"Any moment now." Rockerduck replied as he looked at his pocket watch.

"Jeez, we gotta upgrade you to this century." the rooster muttered.

Just then, another truck arrived.

"Finally, the new weapons for our Eggheads!" grinned Steelbeak.

"These definitely will help us give us the upperhand." Rockerduck smirked.

Present:

The Buzzard brothers were snapping at the Eggheads on guard that night in the holding cell block.

"So according to Agent Dee's spy-mosquito, you imbeciles were spotted two nights ago!" shouted Bradford.

"You should be lucky that those kids didn't fully see you." said Bentley.

"And you should also be lucky that the likes of McDuck and VonDrake didn't see you either that night." added Buford. "Otherwise, they would have recognized you as F.O.W.L."

"But the fog hid us well." Pepper meekly pointed out.

"That's besides the point!" snapped Bradford. "You lot need to be more careful! We do plan to come out of the shadows, but only when the time is right."

"Just be more careful and discreet in the future." grunted Bentley. "Now dismissed."

"Yes Directors!" Pepper nervously saluted as she and the other Eggheads left.

The Buzzards then made their way to the meeting room where Rockerduck, Steelbeak, Gandre Dee, and Black Heron were seated.

"Are we in trouble too?" Rockerduck asked.

"You weren't spotted by any of them last night." said Bradford. "So no."

"Well that's nice." Rockerduck smirked.

"Why do you even keep them around?" asked Heron.

"Even though they aren't as advanced as you lot, they are still helpful in stealth operations." said Bradford. "Even though two nights ago was a close call to our reveal."

"Well that makes sense." said Steelbeak.

"It's hard to believe that F.O.W.L. was barley almost exposed because of a silly record in regards to spending the night in a cemetery." mused Heron.

"You gotta give that family credit." said Gandra. "Those four elderly ducks were able to hold their record for over a century and pulled off convincing monsters. And those kids and younger adults were able to get them back well with their own scare."

"I don't think the glasses-wearing kid knew about it." said Steelbeak.

"For once, you're right." muttered Heron.

"Going soft on us agent Dee?" asked Buford.

"Not in the slightest." Gandra scoffed.

"So what's next?" asked Rockerduck. "More shipments?"

"Not yet." said Bradford. "For right now, we need to find new areas for future shipments, more secretive so we don't get caught."

"What about the Duck/McDuck family?" asked Steelbeak.

"We'll continue to let them live for now." Bradford said as he turned on the monitor. It showed Huey, Dewey, Louie, April, May, June, Webby, Lena, Violet, Gosalyn, Honker, Donald, Daisy, Della, Scrooge, Goldie, Ludwig, and Matilda eating breakfast in the mansion. "But their craftiness in these kinds of schemes show that they are tough ones to get rid of." Bradford then smirked evilly. "But when the time is right… they're gonna be in for an adventure worse than what they experienced those three nights… and it'll truly be their last…"
