Everyone's buzzing around the guild as usual. Mira serving drinks, Cana wasted sitting on a bucket of beer. Natsu arguing with Lucy how much he's eating with her money, while Happy eats his fish and trying to share with Carla.
You know a usual day in the unusual guild.
The sun slowly hides under clouds of rain, as a stone cold Juvia walks in towards the bar.
"a shot of the strongest you have Mira san, please" Juvia says as she sits down at the bar. Mira confused" what's wrong Juvia? You seem sad, not like yourself honey, how was the mission? Did something happen?" Juvia looks down at her lap with a blank face, hands shaking "Juvia's okay, the mission went well, Juvia was able to stop the water dam from breaking before the city would have been floated, and everyone drinks here, why can't Juvia have one?!" Mira frowns "well, not everyone, but I've never seen you this umm sad" taking a glass and slowly filling it up.
"Heyy, Juvia how was the mission? You took a lot of time? 2 weeks? It wasn't that far away, you said it yourself wasn't it a 0ne week job? What happened? Gajeel started to worry" Levy with her round belly came slowly to sit next to her. Juvia's eyes darting to her belly, quickly looking up "Juvia's okay, she took a detour through the area, she had never been across Fiore's west side. When is baby popping out? You're even bigger than before Juvia left. How is Gajeel doing with the twins? It's they're first mission you know." Levy pats her belly, a smile growing on her face. "the last time we talked, they were coming home, so they'll have to be here soon but what's with the rain, Juvia? It's yours isn't it?!" Levy looks out the window to see the clouds getting darker, as the rain intensifies. "It's a-, it's nothing really, Juvia doesn't wanna talk about it, im just gonna go sleep-"
Suddenly two strong hands wrap around Juvia holding her tightly "what's wrong? No kisses for me!? I thought I've been straight forward these last few months with you" Gray whispers in her ear, smelling her hair, his shirt lost on the ground midway walking towards her.
"I have to go, Juvia's really tired after the mission, see you tomorrow, everyone" She quickly pulls away and almost runs out of the guild.
Confused, Gray turns to Mira "what happened? Did I do something? Mira?" Mira shrugging looks at Levy. "We are just as confused as you Gray. She wanted a drink from me, but she rarely drinks, which I thought was out of her element, something's very wrong. Go after her."
Feeling dumbfounded, a knot in his stomach, he turns to the doors, where Juvia fled away, that's when he sees the rain pouring outside, frowning he thinks to himself as he walks out of the guild towards their home 'what happened to my Juvia'
Sitting by the windows looking at the park longingly, rain making children to go home, Juvia's rubbing her legs. the door handle shakes, as someone can't get in.
A knock on the door, Juvia goes to the door, knowing already whose out there. Opening she sees Gray-sama drenched from head to toe not even realizing it himself, worry stretched in his face. "Juvia, talk to me, what's wrong? What the hell happened? Closing off is my thing not yours!"
Closing the door "sit down, my darling" Juvia's twirling her thumbs. Juvia closes the door as Gray heads towards the couch and sits down waiting for Juvia to explain.
"the mission took a toll on Juvia more than she thought it could, so she went to Purlyusica before she came to the guild, and umm she's okay, but we found out something about her body.." Gray holding her hand, nodding for her to continue. Juvia sits down next to him, her breaths becoming heavier with every word she says. "the years of working on jobs and dangerous missions has taken it's toll on it. Bottom-line is, Juvia can't ha-, she can't have children!" Tears welling up in her eyes, turning away from him. Rain pouring against the window heavily, as Gray falls down on his knees opposite Juvia, brushing of her tears, kissing her forehead "it's okay, I was worried that there was something more. We're gonna be okay, Juvia" Gray holds onto her, a mountain falling off his chest.
Standing up quickly "how is it okay? Juvia can't give you what we have been trying to have for months now. That is why nothing has happened, cause Juvia is not enough of a woman to give you a chi-" Gray holds her wrists so she is against him. "No, just stop that thought process right there, I want you. Period. It took me too long to admit my feelings, that doesn't change anything, I love you." Hugging her tightly, Gray leans down and gives a quick peck. Exhaling softly, fingers caressing Gray's wet chest "Juvia has always wanted a big family, ever since orphanage Juvia thought she wanted children to love them, cherish them, bu-"
"how about adoption? We'll raised them as our own, Fairy tail has been our family even though we're not blood related, they are our own adopted family, why don't we do that. we could do it!" after some moment of thoughts to the idea at hand Juvia with red puffy eyes, looks up smile slowly stretching across her face. "we could do that" smiling at each other.
"Great, let's get to it", Gray takes her up in his arms, going to her bedroom, throwing her on the bed, falling on top of her. "GRAY-SAMA, what are you doin?" Gray holds her thighs wide open, as he kisses his way down her neck "kissing my girlfriend to make her stop sulking about something she can't change." Nibbling her neck, tickling her sides as Juvia starts squealing. "Eeeeeeep!"
They roll in the bed sheets, making their desires heard while in the window you could have seen the sun starting to shine again.
