A/N Huh, I'm back, yeah, don't hurt me? Do you hate me for discontinuing two stories? I certainly hope not. Now if you haven't guessed, this is a story, not an apology- even though it may seem like one- I hope you don't put my head on a pike, anyways are you ready for a story that I don't have any ideas for? haha. If you have read my other two stories then you would know, this isn't going to end well, now regarding my last story, Ash's Pokemorph Journey, I got the idea from a story called 'Poketrix, tales of Soot and Ash' I'd recommend you go read that story anyways enough wasting time, let's begin.
Chapter 1: The Beginning of the end
Ash POV ( Note that this will be the only POV)
This was it, the day I left on my pokemon journey, I've always been fascinated by those Dragons, ever since I saw Clair Blackthorne battle in the Silver Conference, the Dragons Clair had was amazing, I know most aspiring Dragon Trainers looked up to Lance Waratru, The Kanto/Jhoto Champion, but I thought that he wasn't an actual Dragon Trainer, half of his team weren't even Dragons, it was really dumb that the public thought he was even a Dragon Trainer. I shook the thoughts out of my head as I headed downstairs to eat some breakfast.
"Hi honey, did you sleep nicely?." Asked Mom, she was the best mom there will ever be.
"Yeah, I slept great, I'm ready to go get my starter, and then become the greatest Dragon Master in the entire world!" I said enthusiastically.
"That's great, breakfast is on the table, and your bag is by the door." My Mom said.
I ate my food quickly and headed out, putting my backpack on. I was going to come back and show Mom my new Pokemon before heading out. It was about a 10 minutes walk from here in Professor Oak's lab, so I entertained myself by looking at my surroundings, the trees were a lush green. Pallet Town wasn't that big, only housing around 400 people and 250 houses, within a few minutes I had arrived by Professor Oak's lab. I could see the Pokemon from here. I knocked on the door, about two minutes later a sleepy assistant opened the door, muttering about kids and their ability to have so much energy, I ignored him and walked to Professor Oak's Office, I was about an hour before everybody else was going to get their starters.
The reason I was early was that there were only 3 starters, but four of us, I talked to Professor Oak, and he agreed to get me a Deino as a starter, it as easily the rarest Dragon, so it made sense to get it first. I knocked on Professor Oak's door, which he opened almost immediately, obviously expecting me, for as long as I'd known the man, this was the earliest I've seen him awake.
"Hello, are you ready to get your starter?" Asked the Professor.
"Yes, I am" I replied
He got out a Pokeball and said
"Here is Deino's Pokeball" He replied
He also gave me 1000 PokeDollars, a Pokedex, and 5 Empty Pokeballs, and sent me on my way, I went outside and found a nice spot to send out Deino. It came out in a bright flash, I quickly scanned him

That I could work with, It seemed like Deino was pretty powerful, but nowhere near where she would be in the future.
"Hi, how are you?" I asked, and Deino responded by headbutting my head softly, this was how Deino's said hello.
"Now my dream is to become the greatest Dragon Master of all time, but I need a leader, will you be that leader?" I asked, Deino didn't waste a second before she nodded, and jumped on my shoulder, hitching a ride there while I started walking home, a few Pidgey were flying around, a soft breeze was there, it was a nice walk home about 5 minutes later I opened the door to my house. After introducing Deino to Mom and saying our goodbye's I went into Route 1 to get to Viridian and from the to Pewter City, to get my first Badge, I would stay in Route 1 for 5 days or so to get Deino started on learning Ice Fang as it was the only Ice-type move Deino could learn. It would give us the advantage as it did normal damage against Rock-Types and was super effective against Ground-Type pokemon, but it was also very hard for Deino to learn it.
"Deino, how about you start by closing your eyes, look around the Dragon-Type energy you use to make Dragon Breath, it'll look white in color and be very cold, once you find that, come tell me, ok?" I asked, and Deino nodded, she found a spot, and closed her eyes, while she was doing that, I'd busy myself on seeing what other moves I could teach her.
About 30 minutes later, I walked up to Deino and told her to stop, and that he wanted to see her moves
"How about you start with Tackle, then Headbutt, Bite, Work Up, Focus Energy, Dragon Breath, and finally Double hit, is that ok? I asked, to which Deino nodded her head, and charged straight at the tree that she was sitting under earlier, I assumed Tackle, it was pretty powerful. He then used Headbutt, it almost knocked the tree down, then he used bite to rip out a chunk of the wood, then he used Work Up then headbutt again finally knocking that tree down, after waiting for that effect to disappear he stepped in front of another tree
"Do Focus Energy then Tackle, ok?" I asked, to which Deino nodded again, she focused for 5 seconds, then charged at that same tree, almost knocking it over, " Man that was pretty powerful." I said in surprise, obviously not expecting it to be that strong, though it needed some work, I waited for Focus Energy's effects to wear off, it lasted surprisingly long, but anyway, its time for Dragon Breath, Deino stepped forward and used Dragon Breath, it did a number on the tree, and it would probably knock out some weak pokemon, nevertheless, I was impressed, but it needs some work to be used in Offical Battles, now it was time for Double Hit, and the tree finally came down, Double Hit was really good, it would be great against any pokemon with the ability Sturdy, I told Deino to work on Tackle, Dragon Breath and Double hit as well as Headbutt and Bite, Focus Energy and Work Up was good enough for now, but for now, I'll just keep reading on what Deino can do.
It was about 3 hours later, I was busy giving Deino some pointers on how to do Tackle, he was coming along quite smoothly, he'd been able to knock down a small tree and Dragon Breath was doing better, it had been able to burn that same tree that she knocked down with Tackle, and Double Hit was doing good, also being able to crack a rock that we found, the rock was the size of a soccer ball, FYI, and Headbutt had been able to knock down a bigger tree, and Bite was also doing better. I felt that we were making good progress, after that, I went off to go find some berry's, we had some Tuaros Jerky, and Mom taught me how to cook, so I could crush the berry juice onto the Tauros Jerky, it was one of my favorite meals to eat, I made dinner and fell asleep.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I was woken up by someone screaming, there was a car crashed into a tree, and would you guess who stepped out? Gary of course, the guy was actually driving a car on a Pokemon journey, what was wrong with him, I mean, I always knew the guy was Dim-witted in everything that wasn't related to Pokemon, but seriously, even a 6-year-old could tell you that it was a bad idea. I saw Deino also awake, clearly having used Double Hit on the car- at least judging from the dents in the side of the car, they weren't too bad, but enough for it to knock the car off course.
I recalled Deino and bolted before Gary could see me, he'd most likely blame me for that, and get my license suspended. Even though it was my fault, I didn't want him to know, I wasn't going to waste my hard work. When I far enough away I saw the craziest thing, a Gible, and right there, I knew I was going for that Gible. I ran at it, releasing Deino om the way.

"Deino use Work Up and Focus Energy then a Tackle attack, then follow up with Double Hit, after you've done that, use Dragon Breath, then use Headbutt. Deino nodded but looked a bit uncertain, "Come on, you can do it" I encouraged and Deino used Work Up and Focus Energy and charged off. Knocking Gible in the air Deino pressed her advantage, using Double Hit, Gible wasn't in good shape, then a Dragon Breath, so far doing all the moves perfectly, then Headbutting Gible in the stomach, causing it to gasp for air, quickly jump above Gible, I saw an opportunity, "Use Double Hit and then Dragon Breath to finish him off!" I said, Deino quickly slammed two feet into Gible causing it to fly into the ground face first, then Deino finished him off with a Dragon Breath, I quickly chucked a Pokeball at Gible and a red light consumed it, sucking it into the Pokeball with three rolls and a clicking noise, GIble was my first capture, "All right, I just caught a Gible" I said, and setting up camp right there, while congratulating Deino on a job well done.
I sent out Gible, "Hey Gible, as you can see, I caught you, now I want to be the greatest Dragon Master of all time, are you with me?" I asked, and Gible nodded, I was overjoyed at the thought of a new teammate and took out my Pokedex to scan him

Gible was rather large and it was a good move set, I could do a lot with it, but it would need some improvements, first and most importantly, Dig, and then Stealth Rock, while Dig was self-explanatory Stealth Rock wasn't, Stealth Rock was mainly for Deino's move, Assurance, it allowed him to just use Assurance without running the risk of getting hurt trying to set it up, it would certainly help a lot, and while Deino was working on Ice Fang I would scroll through the Pokedex and see what else was best for them to learn.
It was late, I just called off Deino and Gible from their training, made them some food, and went to sleep
