I shouldn't have to keep warning- but if you already found the last few chapters "touchy" and "unpleasant" than I recommend not reading any further, or waiting until the fourth or fifth chapter. Just saying. If you're okay, then please continue on.

Ch. 3

She left. She had no desire to stay in the woods any further, plus now with that stone being a bust. She didn't want to stay longer than she needed to. She walked slowly through the trees, making sure not to trip over risen or extended roots. She wasn't in a rush to get back to the shack either as she moved throughout the woods. Her last hope depleted, so her feet treaded through the dirt and bark. She wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings either as she walked on. Her mind was in fog and by the time she realized, she didn't know where she was. She glanced around, seeing only darkness, trees, and she figured some kind of berry bush. She let out an annoyed sigh pushing forward. When she saw some flowers that had interesting colors she figured they might lead her back to the shack or a least to a part of the forest she knew. However, she was surprised as she followed the array of sparse colors further, to find a clear field. It wasn't big, but it had patches of the flowers she was following plus some from the cave that were from behind the waterfall, scattered around. She entered the clearing. That golden, sparkly pollen filling the air again. 'I wonder if this place is in the journals anywhere?' She asked herself as she just looked at the place in awe. She heard a rustle of leaves behind her but was relieved to find that it was two squirrels running around then disappearing up a tree. She heard a few woodland creatures tussle about in the dark. She sat down in the field, even laying back, closing her eyes. The humid air didn't bother her as much as before, maybe because her clothes were a bit damp. Although, her body felt like it did before, but she just ignored it as she rested for a bit, listening to the bustles, tussles, and rustles of the night. Maybe it should have struck fear in her since it was dark. Or because it was the unknown. But at the moment she was at ease. Maybe the field she was in, was to blame.

The sounds around her didn't scare her anymore, as she let her body lay there, until there was a quickness brushing past the leaves into the field. She at first thought it was the woodland creatures of the night, until a low chuckle shattered that thought and made her jump. She looked towards the sound, her horror only intensifying when she saw the sight before her. The air in her lungs was caught, her body frozen for some reason, and her voice non-existence.

"Hey look who we ran into." The person crept closer. He and his friend seemed liked they had just ran for their lives from something, though now they, or rather he was looking at this situation with optimism.

"Dude, are you serious right now?" His friend finally breathed out.

"Why not?" The other shrugged. "Besides I want to pick up from last time." His smile was full of malice and evil intentions. The other looked at where they just came from, panic and concern on his voice.

"I'm not so sure about this." Pacifica finally had some of her bearings. She was about to run, when the dark haired guy grabbed her hair, forcefully shoving her to the floor on her stomach. He gave her a few kicks and hits to keep her restrained, before flipping her over and straddling her. He looked at his taller friend who was panicking.

"You're such a coward." He told him. "We're in the woods, ain't nothing going to find us here." He stated, gripping her wrists tightly again, holding them above her head.

"Yeah but before…"

"Whatever that thing was, it's gone." He interrupted abruptly. "Now we can take advantage of the situation here and have some fun. So chill out. Sheesh. Ain't nobody gonna find us or anything." He explained. He looked back at Pacifica. "And I am going to enjoy finishing this." He got out a pocket knife, ripping up her sweater and shirt underneath. Her abdomen and bra were exposed to the air. She squirmed underneath him. It was like she was reliving a nightmare over and over again. He had her bra already cut off. But the look on his face said he wasn't satisfied with just her upper body being exposed. "Keep moving hun, this knife is sharp, it can slice other areas…" His breath was hot near her face as he sliced her cheek, letting the cool blade travel down her body. She wanted to scream, yell, shout, do anything. But all that managed to come out of her were tears rolling down her cheeks that stung and a lump in her throat so big it hurt. She felt the slice around her torso, stinging her like a papercut. The lower he got as he went for her jeggings making her panic more. 'HELP! PLEASE!' She screamed in her head repeatedly, knowing her voice was at a loss. Her whimpers the only sound being heard at the moment. He laughed, as he cut up the last article of clothing shielding her underwear. Her jeggings were in tatters when he was done.

He moved his hand to spread her legs, already trying to move himself further in between them. She wrestled with him further, but he stopped her short as he sliced the knife over her thighs and torso again. He had the blade near her neck, a threatening look in his eye. He tightened his grip around her wrists even more, bruising them further. He let the blade travel again before placing it to the side out of reach from her but close enough for him, his hand now moving towards her inner thigh. "Ain't nothing gonna interrupt us this time." He had an evil smirk as his fingers slid her panties to the side. She screamed further in her head for help, as more tears traveled down her cheeks. She hated the feeling of him down there. It was like she was numb, in pain, in a nightmare and reality all at once. She heard him wrestle with his jeans as he was sliding them down, the horror of everything furthering. 'Dipper! HELP!' She cried out in her mind, not believing she did it, but she wished if anyone was there, if anyone could help, if anyone could do something, anything, it was him. Even if they were enemies, even if he did hate her, even if he didn't care what happened to her, she wished he was there. She wished just someone help. She heard the guy above her laugh. "This is going to be so fun." His grip on her wrists tight as ever. "Sure you don't want in dude."

"I'm good. I still think we should leave." The other replied. "Just hurry up."

"Like hell, I'm going to make this last." He snickered. Pacifica wanted to fight, she wanted to do more, but the energy in her was gone. She closed her eyes, hoping that would make this nightmare end sooner. She wanted to concentrate on anything else but this moment. She noticed as the moments passed, the air around her was breathable again. And more to it, the pressure around her wrists was gone. It was like everything was gone. She opened her eyes and realized he was off her. She glanced up.

"Dipper…" She barely whispered, amazed and shocked he was there in front of her. His magic being used on the two that attacked her, well he mainly was torching one of them, while the other watched, each in their own personal bubbles silencing their screams. He turned towards her.

"You ok?" He kneeled. She wanted to cover herself, but saw her clothes were in nothing but tatters. He took off his coat giving it to her. This also surprised her, but she nodded her thanks. He looked at her wrists, there was new bruising that had formed, along with the old ones he now was able to see. He got up, his glare aimed at the two. She watched him.

"What are you going to do?" She asked quietly. He placed new spells, the screams of the other one clearly visible to the eye.

"Give them what they deserve." He responded, as he was about to do another spell, one she recognized.

"Wait." She got up, grabbing his arm. He glanced back at her, shocked a little, but kept his demeanor. She glanced at the two.

"Don't they deserve it?" He inquired. He felt the pressure on his arm slip away as her hand slipped off. She looked away.

"I don't want to see them die…not in front of me." She finally said, walking away.

"And torture?" He asked.

"Not in front of me." She replied. He smirked.

"That's fine by me." He snapped his fingers, causing the two to vanish. "I always need new experiments." He saw she was on her knees again, her body trembling. He walked over to her, sitting near her. "Are you ok?"

"They…I…"She was trying to find the right words but couldn't, she just simply nodded. He knew that wasn't true, but it was the best she could do at the moment. He saw the wounds as she tried to keep herself covered not only with his coat but her split sweater and remainder of the rest of her tattered clothes. "You…you didn't have to you know." She finally spoke. He glanced at her.

"Like hell that was option." Knowing exactly what she meant. She looked at him. "I wasn't going to let those asses do anything you didn't deserve. And you sure as hell didn't deserve that." He assured. She kept her eyes locked with his for few seconds, thinking over his words. "Plus if I recall it's my job to be your enemy not theirs." He tried to lighten the mood, standing up. She had a small smile form on her lips as she glanced away.

"I figured you hated me." She let out. "But still…thank you."

"Who said I hated you?" He asked her. She looked up at him, words not forming again as she was shocked by that response. She tried to get up, only stumbling back down, her body weak and sore from everything. She let out an exasperated breath. He kneeled in front of her this time. "I can help you."

"How?" She questioned, her mind going back to that night, going back to everything, hating the feeling her body had.

"I might not be able to take away their touch, but.." He held out his hand hesitantly, wondering if he could touch her. "But I can try and heal the rest." He offered. She looked at his hand then him, before looking down

"I've tried everything mythical and magical in those books…"She whispered. "Maybe I should try something new…" She glanced at him nodding.
