Chapter 3: Talk, Fight, Talk

Bella's POV

I was in my truck. Jake was talking to Leah. Nico was awake and was leaning on Leah for support. Something was happening with those two, for sure. Leah turned into a Wolf and Nico got on her back. Which he was not happy about.

Jake came over to the truck I got out of the truck and went to the passenger side. Jacob got into the driver seat. When he started the engine, I asked him, "So… what's with Leah and Nico?"

He took a few seconds to answer. When he finally did, he said, "I don't know yet. But I hope to find out."

"You better tell me when you find out or else."

"Alright, alright. But I don't think Bella Swan would hurt a fly."

Maybe not Bella Swan, but I'm not Bella Swan I'm Bella Jackson. "Oh… you have not seen my dark side. You can see it tonight though I'm hoping to spar with Percy."

We parked the truck in the woods. Well more like Jacob parked the truck. We got out and he turned into a wolf. I climbed on his back and he ran to where everyone was.

There were four logs in the shape of a square. There was a small pit with some wood. Percy was trying to start a fire. Annabeth was laughing behind him. Leah and Nico were on one log talking and Seth was all alone on another. Jacob and I sat down at the empty log.

Percy said, "I wish Leo was here."

"Hey Bella, Jacob," Annabeth said.

"Hi, Annabeth. Percy want some help?"

"Yes," I pulled out my water bottle, "NO! NO!" he quickly said.

I put my water bottle back away and I actually helped him. "You need to learn how to make a fire," I said sitting back on the log. We had a fire, thanks to me.

"I did, see." He said and pointed at the fire.

"Without help," I said rolling my eyes. "Percy want to spar?"

He got that twinkle in his eyes that I still remembered. Every time he got excited; he has that twinkle in his eyes. "Yeah, you still got Ravage?"

"What you think?" I said and raised my middle figure at him. Annabeth started to laugh she almost fell off the log.

We got into our positions. From where the campfire was, I was on the right and Percy was on the left. This would be the first time Jacob, Seth, and Leah saw Ravage. Annabeth yelled, "GO!"

Percy took out his pen. I could hear Seth laugh. Percy clicked it. Riptide. Seth and Jacob gasped. I was going to have some fun I started to calculate what to do, thanks Annabeth. Turned around and ran. "Scared sis?" Percy asked.

"You wish," I said with a smile.

Percy ran after me. I ran up a tree as he slashed. He got his sword stuck in the tree. Well, I did a backflip off the tree. I hit the pearl on my ring and the ring turned into my sword, Ravage. And I hit my watch and it turned into my shield. I landed on the ground with Ravage in one hand and my shield in the other. My friends from Forks gasped. Percy got his sword unstuck. And slashed it at me. I held up my shield. He made a dent in the medal. "Percy! Tyson made this!"

"Hey, at least you have yours. Tyson is fi-"

I slashed my sword at him, and he ducked. Hey that shut him up. I slashed again. Fricke. Fatal mistake. My shield went flying. I was mad and I charged my little brother. Crap. He disarmed me. My sword was in his left hand and he had riptide to my throat. I sighed and said, "Alright you win. But that is only because I have not practice in over a year. Now give me back, depopulationem exegit." (That's how you say Ravage in Latin btw. I had to google that)

He gave me back my sword. It turned back into a ring and I put it back on my middle finger. Now I need to find my shield.

Leah's POV

When Percy's pen turned into a sword I did not gasp. My brother and Jacob did though. I was not surprised. Nico had already shown me his sword, Stygian Iron. When I first saw Nico. I freaking hated myself. I imprinted on him. A guy I did not know his name to until Bella told us. After the fight. Bella went off looking for her shield that flew into the wood, well flew into the part of the wood that was not lit up by our fire.

I grabbed Jacobs's arm before he could go off and help Bella look for her shield. "Can we talk?" I asked him

"Sure." We walked away from the fire. Instead of me asking him something he asked me, "Did you imprint on Nico?"

I was in awe. How did he know? *metaling slapping myself* of course, he knows. "Yeah. What do I do?"

"Is that what Seth was trying to say when you barked at him," He joked.

I glared at Jacob. "This is not funny Jacob."

"Alright, alright. I have a question for you." I nodded for him to keep going, "Do you like Nico?" I did not know the answer to his question. Nico was cute. Then Jacob said, "You don't have to answer that until you have an answer."

"I don't have an answer to that yet. So, let's go back to the fire."

"Yeah, I think that will be a good idea." Jacob and I walked back to the fire.

Nico's POV

Okay, something is wrong with me. When Leah said she needs to talk to Jacob in private I got jealous. Nico di Angelo, Ghost King, jealous over a girl? What the hell is Aphrodite doing up there on Olympus?

Leah and Jacob only talked for a few minutes then they came back to the fire. Jacob went to go find Bella. I think Bella was looking for her shield. Percy and Annabeth were talking. Seth, Leah's little brother, was… is he reading?

Leah came over to me and sat down. Frick you Aphrodite. Butterflies where in my stomach. Leah said, "Hi."

I said back to her, "Hi."

The hairs on the back of my neck started to tingle. I turned around. Black. No I did not pass out. Mrs. O'Leary.

Leah turned into a Wolf. So did Seth. They started to growl. I yelled, "DOWN MRS. O'Leary! PERCY! TELL HER TO PUT ME DOWN!"

Mrs. O'Leary finally put me down. But I think for everyone's sake I should have stayed up there. When I got down slobber. All over us. But I think Bella got pissed Mrs. O'Leary grabbed her shield.

"Sorry I think that was my fault," Jacob said. Bella slapped the back of his head.

"Yeah dummy. I told you not to blow that whistle." Bella said. "Now I need to go get my shield. Mrs. O'Leary can I have my shield back?"

Percy's POV

It was fun seeing my big sister chase Mrs. O'Leary around. With Jacob right behind her. Maybe her and Jacob are a thing. "Annabeth?"

"What's up Perce?" She asked.

"Should I tell Isabella I can make Mrs. O'Leary put her shield down."

"Percy!" Annabeth yelled and slapped the back of my head.

"Owe!"

"What just happened. Is Percy being an idiot again?" Bella asked.

"You can tell her Percy," Annabeth said. Everyone was looking at me. OH NO.

"I… can tell Mrs. O'Leary… to put your shield down," I said as fast as I could.

"PERSEUS LEE JACKSON!" (I just did a common middle name don't judge plz) Bella yelled.

"Crap." I got up and ran. Well, I tried to at least I tripped. Overwater. Flipping water! Water was surrounding me now great I'm a dead man, NOT.
