Jiro ran with his team beside him, his body slightly heavier than usual.
Ryo dared to look behind and saw the small alien gaining ground quickly. "We've gotta move quicker than this!" They ducked into an alleyway at the first opportunity and hoped the alien didn't notice.
Yoko flattened herself to the wall when a blur of white whizzed past, but they couldn't hide forever; why did this small alien seem more resilient? She turned her head and watched Jiro place their unconscious teammate against the opposite wall and briefly wondered why Jiro wanted to help the teen; if the situation were reversed, Nishi would not grant any of them the same help, surely Jiro knew that. Yoko wondered if it was worth it because even she felt their chances were slimmer now.
"What now," Ryo muttered. "We can't just sit around, we don't have time! In fact-" Ryo looked at his transmitter, "we have less than ten minutes."
Jiro walked out of the alleyway into the lighter part of the street. "I guess we better get moving."
Ryo paled. "Hold on a second, we?"
Jiro smiled. "Of course, the hunted has now become the hunter."
Ryo looked at him in confusion. "What does that even mean?"
"It appears we're now chasing the alien."
"Uh, no!"
Yoko liked the sound of them chasing the alien better than the alien chasing them, and now she knew. "Is that why you helped Nishi?"
Jiro smiled as he looked at the boy and then back at Yoko. "I was just waiting for an opportunity to allow the alien to pass us, no point in fighting it just yet, and since we were running anyway, leaving the boy would have been pointless."
I knew it, she thought. Jiro didn't intentionally save Nishi, but she was happy he did, regardless of the reason.
"Well, isn't that the most bizarre reason ever, and I hate to break this ever more confusing moment here, but we do have somewhat of a crisis happening," said Ryo as he spared a glance at Nishi, who remained unconscious. "Time is crucial."
"Let's hurry then." Ryo nodded and then followed Jiro.
"But what about-" Yoko started before biting her bottom lip; it was hard for her because she was young, she found it more difficult to leave someone in a condition such as Nishi's; Yoko didn't have a problem when they were in danger of the alien slicing them open, but now that things were calm, she couldn't leave him.
"Stay with him," Jiro said, and Yoko looked up at him in surprise when she saw his warm smile. "I know it's hard, I don't blame you Shin, but please, for your sake, don't place yourself at risk; there might be a chance we'll fail, so don't lose whatever chance you have to end it."
Yoko frowned; Jiro was right, she would stay with Nishi, but if it came down to it - if Jiro and Ryo failed, she would save herself first. On the other hand, what do I really have to go back to? My best friend wants to kill me with some mercenary guy, my parents act like I don't exist since I moved out. I guess there's college, but what's the point when there's a chance I could die here. Yoko watched Jiro and Ryo disappear into the distance before ducking back into the alley and knelt opposite Nishi. She looked at his slightly pale face and thought about what she wanted to say if they made it, wondering what kind of relationship was growing between them; was it friendship, mutual understanding, or were they really crossing the line to attraction? Yoko didn't know; maybe they were just two lonely people looking for companionship in this crazy world. Yoko suddenly frowned with determination; whatever it was, she would accept it because he was all she had now.
"Don't die," she told him as she pulled the transmitter from her pocket, five minutes remained, and time was still ticking; what if Jiro and Ryo were dead already and she was just sitting here wasting time? Yoko crawled over to Nishi, and, placing her hand against his chest, she felt it rise slightly. She sighed in relief but knew she was the only one capable of defeating the alien now. "Don't die," she repeated.
"Then hurry up." Nishi opened his eyes, but Yoko wasn't sure of the expression; he looked kind of mad, and Yoko couldn't help but feel mad too because now that he was awake, she wasn't sure if she could leave him. "You should have gone with them," Nishi spoke weakly.
"But..."
"We're running out of time, don't be a hypocrite, you know I wouldn't do the same, we agreed."
Yoko bowed her head slightly before nodding. "I know." Yoko lifted her head to face him. "I'll get the alien, just don't die, okay?"
Nishi gave her a small grin. "I still have points to collect."
Yoko returned the smile and took a deep breath before leaning in to quickly kiss him, it was short, and neither of them knew how to react.
Nishi watched her disappear and huffed a laugh despite his pain. "Talk about the weirdest first kiss ever." He wasn't entirely sure what the hell he felt for Yoko, but he didn't expect her to reciprocate it. Nishi moved a hand to his injury to shift his body so he could look at his surroundings, it wasn't exactly the most graceful way to die, but he remembered his fall and cringed. "Could be worse, I suppose." Nishi reached into his pocket and groaned; he didn't even have a fucking weapon, nor did he have his transmitter. "The least they could have done was leave me a gun." Now, he had no idea how much time was left, and if the alien found him, he was done for. It surprised him that he was even alive; that sword nearly went through his chest. "Maybe the suit provides some kind of resistance." Nishi sighed, everyone could be dead by now, and he was sat here bleeding on the floor, theorizing about the suit. Am I dying? It doesn't feel like I am...wait, when did I close my eyes? I can't open them, too tired. "Can't die..."
Yoko sighed when she saw the apartment's walls. "Damn those creepy-doll aliens." Yoko looked to her left as Ryo and Jiro also appeared next to her; they were in bad shape when she finally caught up to them; how did they manage to kill so many, including the boss, yet they barely made it, or was that the very reason? Maybe the small alien that appeared from the more abundant alien was the boss. The dog barking pulled her away from the image of Ryo's missing legs or Jiro's open wound on his stomach; if she fired her gun a few seconds later, they'd all be dead, probably. It still baffled her how they could get brought back in perfect condition no matter how critical they were. Yoko gasped when she realized that something was wrong, something - or someone - wasn't with them yet. She hastily looked around the room, and, noticing her panic, Ryo and Jiro knew who she was looking for.
Ryo hunched his shoulders. "I don't think he made it."
"He did! I was talking to him right before-" She suddenly remembered the kiss and choked back a sob. When did I develop these feelings? Suddenly, she got angry and started to shout, "I left him, we left him!" Desperation was in her voice, and she was sure there were tears in her eyes. "Why isn't he here, he should have been back by now, right? I mean, no offense, but you guys were in way worse shape than he was when I found you."
Ryo sighed, "Yeah, but you killed the alien pretty quickly right after; Nishi was bleeding for quite some time, I guess he just - sorry."
Jiro looked at the ball, six seconds on the timer, talk about a close shave; every time he came here, he wondered if he would survive another night of this, wondered if it was the last time he'd see his wife again. Jiro felt guilty that the youngest of their team didn't make it, and the real reason for carrying Nishi away to safety was because watching the boy fall back there took him to the past.
A young soldier among their squad, no older than seventeen, lay upon the squelching mud; the rain was slowly pouring, making it so damn hard to see or even stand, and it was cold too, damn cold. Jiro made leader for the sole reason that he had been the next ranking officer after their former Colonel - who had been killed the day before by a grenade they had barely seen coming. The Colonel saved them all yesterday, shouting a warning to them in just enough time so they could get to safety. Jiro gazed upon the young face covered in grime and blood; he could hear distant gunfire and felt the gusts of wind billowing and the debris that steadily blew around them from grenade explosions. "Move! We can't stop! Let's go now," he ordered after a moment's hesitation.
"He could still be alive sir," one of his other young soldiers yelled in reply.
"He's dead, Whiley! So will we be if we don't get to a damn tree line! We are sitting ducks here, now, move your ass!" Jiro pushed Whiley forward; of course, he didn't know if the young boy was dead, but they had no time to check; all Jiro knew was that he needed to make sure the rest didn't end up the same way. While running for cover, Jiro's mind drifted to his young wife, waiting for his return, then drifted to the young boy they had left behind; someone's son, brother, perhaps someone's young boyfriend or even fiancé, they would not see him return from battle, from the hell they were living in, they would never see him again. It was hard to imagine all those relatives awaiting with solemn hope for their loved ones to return, only to receive one telegram that would shatter them. Jiro refused to be one of them, and despite having to report two of their squad fallen, he simply could not afford anymore.
Two days later, two grueling, running and fighting for their lives, days later, they got word that a soldier had fallen into enemy hands, captured, and tortured for information, reported to be young, no older than seventeen. Jiro had never questioned one of his decisions until then. Could he have saved the boy's life had he listened to his soldier? Could they have survived if they'd tried to carry the boy? Did the sacrifice of one so young account for saving six other lives? Because they had survived, they returned home at the sacrifice of one, and it was only because of that Jiro could ignore the guilt he felt because he saved the rest of his men.
When Nishi fell, Jiro saw that same boy from the war, just a few years older than Nishi, and he couldn't do it again, he couldn't leave him behind; what if it happened like before? Jiro didn't know exactly how intelligent the aliens were; he didn't even know if they knew what hostage meant; regardless, he could not leave Nishi behind.
As they waited with heavy hearts, Jiro felt the loss and thought, was it all in vain? Although he did carry Nishi to safety, it didn't make a difference because he had died from his injury. Is that what this was really telling him? What if he saved that soldier decades ago, carried him off to safety with them? Would the soldier have died from his injuries too?
There was a sudden shout from Yoko that snapped him out of it, "Look!"
Ryo and Jiro stared in shock when suddenly, a show of jet-black hair appeared, and an expression of confusion followed after. "Lucky son of a bitch," Ryo commented as Nishi sighed in relief.
Jiro couldn't help but clasp the boy's shoulder. "Way to stay alive, my lad." Jiro smiled, and as bizarre as it seemed, he swore he saw the young soldier behind Nishi smile and give him a two-finger salute before walking away and faded into nothing. It was as if the young boy's ghost was finally freeing him of his guilt.
I'm alive... Nishi turned to his' team.' And they survived too? Nishi was aware of how close he came to dying. Too close, I can't let that happen again.
"Looks like we survived again," said Ryo as he stretched his arms in the air and yawned before looking down at the dog with a smile. "Ready to go home, boy?" The dog jumped and barked in excitement.
Before Nishi had the chance to speak, Yoko beat him to it. "Hold on, we haven't seen our points yet."
Ryo laughed lightly, "Oh, right."
Okay, here are your scores.
Old man: 12 points.
Total points: 26.
74 more, and you're done.
"Wow, you're doing great," Ryo complimented.
Nishi frowned. "He might have survived the mission and gained extra points, but he's nowhere near one hundred, so stop celebrating."
Ryo huffed, but he didn't want to get angry; he thought Nishi was probably still in shock from before. "Gee, you're such a pessimist man."
"He's right," Jiro said. "I've still a long way to go."
Hippy: 8 points.
Total points: 15.
85 more, and you're done.
"At least you're over the quarter mark, I suck."
"Well, no one is going to disagree with you on that," Nishi smirked.
Scratch that, the kid was pissing him off. "I'm gonna kick your ass!"
Nishi's eyes grew wide with amusement. "Oh I'm terrified." Yoko ignored them as she eagerly awaited her score.
Flat chest: 20 points.
Total points: 24.
76 more, and you're done.
Nishi narrowed his eyes at her score, that damn little thing...that little demon alien that stuck its sword in him must have been the boss all along. She killed the boss and quite possibly gained the most points, god fucking dammit. Nishi knew he couldn't blame her, but the information annoyed him.
"Wow! That's awesome, that small alien must have been the boss; huh, no wonder that big thing was easy to take down," Ryo said without thinking.
Nishi glared over at him and wanted to blow his damn head off.
Yoko smiled and jumped with happiness. "I can't believe I did it!"
"Looks like you might be the first out of us to escape."
Nishi silently growled and imagined holding a gun to Ryo's head and watching it blow to pieces. Nishi tensed almost immediately; something about that image excited him, and he shook it off.
Nishi-Kun: 15 points.
Total points: 37.
63 more, and you're done.
You almost died, what happened there?
Now even Gantz was mocking him. "Cocky shit," he muttered.
Ryo sighed, "Or maybe not, he's way ahead of us."
Nishi curled his hands. But it's still not enough.
Yoko smiled and laid a comforting hand on Ryo's shoulder. "You're doing fine, we've survived while four have already fallen, we can beat this thing!"
Ryo groaned, "You're just saying that because you scored the most tonight."
Yoko shook her head. "I'm saying it because we can all escape together!"
Nishi rolled his eyes. Are they all fucking high? "Maybe you will, but don't expect me to hang back and wait around for you to catch up."
Jiro laughed, "Of course not, but I might resent you a little when I see one hundred on your score and watch you disappear."
Nishi smirked at him; underneath that sweet old man charade, Jiro was brutally honest without meaning to.
Dog: 0 points.
Total points: 0.
Ryo came to a sudden realization, and it made him sad. "Man, I hate to think what will happen to him once I'm gone; he's not going to ever escape, is he." Ryo looked down at the dog with regret.
"If it makes you feel better, you'll probably die before he does," Nishi remarked.
Before Ryo attempted to 'kick the boy's ass,' they heard a click and then a shout from Yoko, "Hey! The door is open, let's change and get out of here." Ryo and Jiro head for the room together to save time, and the dog followed. Yoko felt a hand grab her arm and looked at Nishi. "What's up, you're not mad that I scored more than you are you?"
Nishi frowned. "Shut up."
She grinned at him. "You so are."
Nishi tightened his hold for a moment. "I'll kill you."
Yoko sighed and brushed off his empty threat; at least she hoped it was empty. "What's up?"
"We need to keep our suits, given that your supposed best friend turned into an evil psycho."
Look who's talking, Yoko thought with a frown, but she knew it wasn't all his fault, if at all. "Are we really allowed to do that? I mean, what if we show people the suit, we might get our heads blown off."
"I told you, we wear them under our clothes, just like we're doing now, and I think I've figured out the trigger."
Yoko stared at him in surprise. "Seriously?"
"Remember when that reporter started talking to that couple outside?" Yoko nodded. "Nothing happened until he said Gantz, I think that's the trigger word, I'm sure there are other ways, but that has to be one of them."
How did that make sense? They made the name up, so why was that even a trigger word to begin with? Nevertheless, Yoko smiled. "Wow, did you find a rule book or something that we don't know about?"
Nishi rolled his eyes; was it so surprising to these people that he was just a smart kid? If they were to survive, they had to look at every angle, question everything.
"Isn't it still risky?"
Nishi shrugged. "Do whatever you want, but I'm keeping mine, and I'm also taking a gun too; if I'm staying in your apartment, I'm going to need to defend myself."
It wasn't a bad idea; after all, it was partially her fault in the first place. She followed Nishi's example and took a gun, placing it in her pocket out of sight before noticing his surprise. "What, you make a good point." Nishi gave her a smirk, and they both headed for the exit after Jiro and Ryo leave their cases behind.
Ryo looked at them strangely. "Did you two get changed in the other room?" Neither Jiro or Ryo noticed they had their suits on because they took off their gloves.
Nishi didn't even fluster and simply said, "What if we did?"
Ryo lifted up his hands. "Just a question, jeez."
The four - including the dog - made their way outside, offered a short farewell, and went their separate ways.
…...
Nishi and Yoko entered the apartment; she glanced at him with concern. He's been quiet. "Are you hungry?" Nishi grunted in response and made his way into the bathroom and shut the door. "What's with him, is he seriously pouting over those scores?"
Once Nishi showered, placing his suit into his part of the cupboard, he dressed in comfortable loose slacks and a baggy brown shirt. His hair was still damp as he looked in the mirror and barely recognized himself. Nishi knew what was happening to him; he liked it, the blood, the violence, the killing... He always tried to ignore it, tried so damn hard, but back in the apartment when imagining blowing Ryo's head off, or even while fighting the aliens... Nishi tensed again before taking slow breaths, but his hand almost instantly moved to his throbbing need, and he growled; he refused! "Fuck!" Nishi raised his fist and smashed it into the mirror.
Yoko stopped stirring their noodles when she heard the smash, and as she was about to investigate, Nishi emerged, cradling his hand that was now dripping with blood, again! Her eyes widened. "What the hell!" Yoko grabbed the medical box from the cupboard and walked over to him as he sat on the couch. "Are you insane?"
"I just might be," he replied quietly and allowed her to take his hand.
Yoko lifted the lid of the medical box and pulled out two wipes. "What were you thinking?"
"That I wanted to punch the mirror."
Yoko rolled her eyes and started cleaning his hand while checking to make sure there was no glass. Once done, she cut a long strip of bandage to place beside her and opened a gauze pad. "So why did my mirror deserve to be broken? You know that's seven years bad luck." Yoko smiled when Nishi scoffed. "No, didn't think you believed in that sort of thing." She placed the gauze padding around his hand and then began to wrap the bandage around it; her eyes accidentally wander and quickly shot up again. Oh. Of course, she noticed, but she wasn't going to say anything for fear of embarrassing him.
"I can't control it," he blurted out.
Ah, heknew she saw. Yoko stilled her movements for a moment and then carried on. "Control what?"
Nishi tried his best not to blush; he had never been in this situation before. "This - predicament."
"It's not abnormal." Yoko wasn't faring any better; she was sure there was a blush on her face too. What the fuck is wrong with me.
Nishi curled his other hand into a fist. "It is when what we went through earlier, is the cause."
Yoko wasn't naive; she knew what was happening; while they were fighting the aliens when she and Nishi were stood together in the street, she saw it in his eyes; it got him excited. "Is that why my mirror took the blame?"
Nishi stared at her with a 'what the fuck' expression. "You don't sound surprised, in fact, you're not even disgusted."
Yoko sat back and packed away the supplies. "I noticed, during the mission, I knew." Nishi frowned; he didn't exactly want to welcome the excitement. "It's okay, you know."
Nishi gritted his teeth. What the fuck does that mean? Who the hell would embrace that?
Yoko continued when she saw his anger, "In a world like Gantz, it's only a matter of time before you find a way to deal with it." She took a bold move and quickly moved forward to kiss him; Nishi didn't shove her away, he pushed her back so that he could lean over her, and she knew he was trying to figure out his next move. "If it turned you on...I can help you," she smiled.
Nishi would admit he lacked experience, she was obviously the more capable one in this department, but he tried his best not to show it. "You realize what you're implying, right?"
Yoko smiled, but a part of her needed to be sure, and she tried not to embarrass him. "Do you?"
Her question slightly annoyed him; he lacked experience, but he wasn't an idiot; his mother gave him the sex talk at ten years old for fucksake! The boy inwardly cringed at that. Let's not go down that road; I doubt she assumed I'd end up giving myself to a college girl at fourteen. Nishi didn't say anything because he understood why Yoko was asking, it was a really delicate situation, and he couldn't pretend it wasn't. Nishi stood up and pulled her with him; he was merely following his instincts to avoid making this anymore awkward than it already was. The two kissed fiercely and stumbled backward until her back hit the wall, and she reached her arms around to grasp his shirt when Nishi flattened his hand against the wall and kissed her neck.
Yoko noticed he was trying not to touch her, and she thought he was probably waiting for permission and knew she might have to guide him a little. Yoko stumbled into her bedroom, and by the time they fell on the bed, most of their clothes scattered on the floor. Yoko faintly heard him mumble an apology because he almost fell on her, but his hand balanced him at the last minute. She reached a hand up and pulled him down for a kiss before saying, "Relax, just use your instincts like you do in Gantz."
Heh, that's what he was trying to do. Nishi chuckled, "Gantz is the reason we ended up like this in the first place." But it was easier said than done.
Yoko gently took his good hand, placed it on her breast, and gave him a slight teasing grin. "I don't have to explain foreplay to you, do I?"
Nishi knew she was teasing him and couldn't help but frown. "Fuck you."
Yoko's grin widened. "Here's hoping." Neither of them knew it was likely on his first time, and yet Yoko couldn't help but laugh at his expression. "I'm kidding."
Nishi gave her breast a rough squeeze and then kissed her. "I kind of wish you offered before I punched the mirror since I'm right-handed."
Yoko smiled. "Is that going to be a problem?"
Nishi grinned at her. "Probably not."
"Good."
…...
Yoko breathed heavily as Nishi slid his hand up her sides and licked around her hardening nipple, she could feel him throbbing against her leg, but he was doing an excellent job of ignoring it; yeah, she definitely didn't have to explain foreplay to him. "Nishi..." Yoko arched when he kissed down to her navel and back up to her face to kiss her lips. Yoko smiled into the kiss when his hand shifted down to hook his fingers under the thin hem of her thong, barely brushing over the small line of hair. Yoko moaned slightly, Nishi might deny the analogy of Gantz, but his instincts were bang on!
By the sound of her moan, Nishi knew he was doing something right and could feel her wet curls against his thumb, a sure sign of his actions, he thought. Nishi lowered his hand just slightly when he whispered in her ear, "You're wet." Yoko shivered beneath him, and he felt her guide his hand even lower when he didn't continue. When she looked up at him, he gave her a slight grin. "Was that a hint?"
Yoko smiled, Nishi looked confident, but she could tell the question was sincere and leaned forward to capture his lips; he might be slightly on the sadistic side, but at least he expressed some form of respect, in this department anyway.
Nishi took the kiss as a yes, and when he lowered his hand again, he slowly pushed his middle finger into her entrance.
"Yes!" Yoko moved her leg to curl it slightly around his thigh; she gripped the sheet beneath her when she felt his finger slide inside before pulling back; this continued for a couple of minutes until she said, "Use two." Nishi complied without a word and pushed his two middle fingers inside. Yoko moaned loudly, all moral thoughts flew out the window, and she no longer felt ashamed. Nishi's fingers were moving quickly; he adapted to each new approach quite easily. It's not enough, she thought briefly before finding her voice, "More."
Nishi's eyes traveled up to meet hers, but he never slowed his hand. "Seriously?" He cringed inwardly and thought how lame that response was before his eyes left hers. Nishi twisted his hand so that his palm was facing down and pushed in a third finger. Her cry of pleasure was giving him confidence, and he thrust the digits inside with quick accuracy.
Yoko gripped the sheet with both hands as his hand sped up. "Nishi!"
Nishi blinked in surprise for a second before he realized. She really was serious, and all I did was use my fingers. His eyes fell back to her face, she was panting heavily, and he couldn't help but grin. "I would ask how that was for you, but I already got the answer, or rather, I felt it."
Yoko looked up at him when he shifted to her eye level, and she huffed a laugh, "Yeah, you really do know what foreplay is." When Nishi gave her a slight frown, she smiled and raised her knee slightly to brush against his still hard member. She chewed her lip to keep from laughing when the sudden touch to his sensitive area almost made him jump out of his skin. "Shall we take care of that?"
Nishi shuddered. Fucking Christ, she could have given me a warning, I almost - damn it.
Yoko hid her amusement by pulling him down to kiss him, and she felt a wet line trail up her side when his fingers brushed across her skin. "Go ahead, I want you inside me now, okay? Nishi?"
Nishi pulled back to regard her with a thoughtful expression because he knew what she was telling him but wondered if she forgot about a certain important item. "Do you have a condom?" It was a reasonable question, but it didn't make it any less awkward; after all, he wasn't in the habit of carrying that around in his pocket.
Yoko reached up to rest her hands on his shoulders that were already glistening with perspiration. "It's okay, I have the coil."
Nishi blinked at her, and it took him a few seconds to figure out what she meant, heh, some form of protection, he guessed; he didn't exactly know what it did, but he shared his concern. "Gantz might have erased that when it brought you back after you were shot."
Yoko wondered if he was just guessing because of his lack of knowledge on the subject, but what he said made sense. "I didn't think of that; top draw, left side."
Nishi found the packet and tore one from the strip. "At least you didn't forget like I first thought."
Before Nishi could go any further, she took the condom from him and said, "Let me do it."
Nishi rolled his eyes and batted her hand away. "I know how to put on a condom, give me a break."
Yoko tilted her head with a grin. "Practiced?"
Nishi gave her a slight frown. "At least I was smart enough to consider it."
Yoko huffed and then pulled him down on top of her. "Enough talking."
...
Their breathing was loud as Nishi held her leg up by the crease in her thigh with his good hand and used his other to keep himself in place as he moved his hips. Yoko moaned his name as he thrust in and out at a steady pace, sweat dripping from their foreheads. Yoko dragged her short nails across his back as he leaned over her and silenced her moans with a deep kiss.
Nishi thrust slightly harder because he could feel himself tensing. "I'm going to come," he panted heavily, and Yoko let out a sound between a moan and a 'yes,' and Nishi thrust in deeper as he raised her slightly off the bed.
"Yes!" That time he heard her, and it caused him to still before he shuddered with a moan of ecstasy.
Out of breath, Nishi half collapsed on top of her. "Tell me...tell me you came," he breathed out; god, he hoped the answer was yes because he couldn't move his fucking arms.
Yoko huffed a small laugh, and her hand came down to brush her fingers over his glistening back. "I did, and it was amazing."
...
Nishi lay his head across her chest, still somewhat panting as she stroked his damp hair. "Are you okay?" he heard her ask, and when he was finally able to find the strength to move, even if it was only the slightest bit, he rolled off her.
"I am now." It was a comfort to know she was breathing just as heavily as he watched her hands near his now soft member to remove the condom, tie it, and throw it in the wastebasket.
She collapsed onto her back again, staring up at the ceiling. "I don't regret it."
"Good to know; there's no going back now."
Yoko smiled. "We're just going to have to escape, it's the only way to free our warped personalities."
Nishi chuckled, "And erase whatever the hell we do next."
Yoko turned on her side. "Are you staying in here tonight?"
Nishi huffed, "I wasn't, but I don't think my legs are going to co-operate right now." He slid down into the bed and let out a sigh of content.
Yoko stared at him for a moment as he closed his eyes and pulled up the duvet for warmth. "Good night."
Nishi didn't reply and simply turned over, his back facing her, he clearly wasn't the cuddling type, and she was okay with that; it made what they did feel a little less wrong. Yoko continued to stare at his back for a while, realizing that she almost lost him tonight and how it made her feel; Yoko never wanted to experience that again and was going to do everything she could from now on to keep him safe, subtly, of course, so he didn't call her a hypocrite, and she would meet his needs whenever he felt his excitement was too much. "You're not alone anymore..."
